If you fancy an lovely Italian lunch or dinner, well this place is for you. The food was amazing … a must visit for everyone. The pizza’s looked and smelled amazing. I know what am having next time. Enjoy!

To be honest on the food I would have marked this as loved but the service was slow so I removed a star. At the same time I wouldn't wish to give a wrong impression as the servers were pleasant and I think they were doing their best. Maybe a lack of experience played a role in them forgetting to return for a considerable period with deserts and liquor coffees. Still they apologised unsolicited and deserved their tip. The four diners all considered the starters, main courses and desserts were tip top, this rustic place delivered tasty food that met or went beyond expectations. The lemon tart was one of the best I've tasted with a softness to the lemon filling not often provided. The lamb beautifully tender and seasoned. Those who had chips mentioned them as best they had for a while. As such comment is all relative maybe I should mention 2 diners were from Cornwall. Anyway on leaving we all agreed we would happily return the next time our Cornish friends were in Belfast. Suggest you can be confident of a more than decent meal if you give it a visit.

Super setting for either pizza or pasta. Top quality Italian food, nice setting. They usually run lunch offers but competitive dinner prices too. Lots of great restaurant options on the Lisburn Road but this is one of the best!

Lovely wee place. Staff really nice. Unfortunately their alarm went off and they couldn't get it sorted. We decided to stay and see if they could sort it. They couldn't. We ordered to pizzas for kids and juice to take away. Not to bad but a charged far to much a for kiddies meal and charged extra for the kids drinks!!!

We were squeezed in on a busy Friday night which was really appreciated as we were struggling to get somewhere without a booking. Food was very nice, we got carbonara and a pizza with the garlic bread. I can't exactly remember what drink we got, I think it was a raspberry bellini, which was nice and smooth to drink. I'd love to know what prosecco was used to make it. I would definitely recommend going but would advise to book on busy nights

Having viewed the menu for this eatery online we decided to try it as we were on a weekend break in Belfast. Upon arrival, greeted warmly by staff, nothing was too much trouble. We both enjoyed 3 courses and the food was amazing. The surroundings are peaceful and so cool in style and thankfully temperature. Great staff great surroundings and most certainly amazing food....will be back...thank you guys and continued success to you all.

Great food, great service. A total change from the standard over-egged Italian cooking we're used to in Belfast - Amici focus on a simple, delicious style that foregrounds flavour and lets each of the two or three main ingredients shine through without being heavy or generic. One of the few restaurants in Belfast that I would happily eat at regularly. Update: always excellent. More updates: consistently good.

Booked a meal for a hen party and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Amazing seafood risotto and the drinks were constantly flowing. We settled the food bill and then stayed for several rounds of drinks. A fantastic end to the last night of the hen do. Thanks all!

The food tasted great the service was excellent but the 4 stars reflect that I just wish there was a bit more of it. I'm sorry but if s meal comes with carrots you don't expect to get three slices of carrot. Increase the portion sizes by 10-15% and this review would be 5 stars.

One of our favourite places to eat. Great authentic Italian food cooked with the freshest of ingredients and a whole lot of flair. The wine list compliments the food and is very reasonably priced. We have never had anything less than perfect food and friendly service. Highly recommended for everything from business lunches to romantic dinners and family catch ups.

Had a nice little lunch here. Homemade ravioli was good. Complimentary bottle of filtered water was nice. Good coffee and nice desert of orange and almond cake with a very decent ice cream. Bill of under £14 reasonable. Recommended!

Lovely quick dinner with a friend. Amazing Carbonara and garlic bread. Very efficient and upbeat service. The girl who served us was attentive with the table without being overbearing. I am moving into the area and will definitely be in for a visit again.

Delicious food, friendly staff, nice ambiance. Do allow plenty of time for your visit as food is freshly cooked, so will not be fast. We were part of a group of 11 and pre theatre took over 2 hours.

Quite possibly the best pizza in Belfast! Wipes the floor with all the big chain pizza 'restaurants'. The lunch deal - £4.99 for a bowl of pasta or a whole pizza is excellent. The restaurant is a comfortable place to eat in and the staff are hardworking and friendly. Highly recommended!

We took the family to Amici restaurant last night. The food was delicious and the atmosphere and the décor are relaxed and welcoming. The children loved the pizzas and they enjoyed watching them being made. I would especially recommend the chocolate pot!

Almost perfect at Amici. Great prompt service although it's a quiet and small place anyway. Starter (Striscette di pollo) was ok, nothing spectacular. The main course... Possibly the nicest pasta I have ever tasted. We went for the Linguine Carbonara and Penne Con Pollo. Both were exquisite but we agreed the Penne really left the taste buds rattling. The sort of taste that makes you want to burp, just to relive the sensation, if just for a brief tease. Mixed ice cream for desert was nice enough. Good ice cream although no explanation for the sadly absent 'chocolate lined wafers'. This unexplained error and perhaps the somewhat dated decor inside would be the two factors beating down this potential 5 star to a very strong 4 for me. Would revisit any time.

Exceptionally superb Italian food in the heart of Belfast. My wife and I visit Italy at least once a year and eat mainly an Italian menu at home and the food in this restaurant is outstanding. Real professional service with a smile, attention to detail and the flavours are second to none. Will definitely be back for the awesome mixed starter with squid in batter, with batter made from clouds (I don’t even like squid…..normally) pasta is best outside Italy I’ve had and the twist on the tiramisu in a pot with divine chocolate. Coffee and still the smiles and attention to detail keep coming and then the finale, homemade Limocello!! Made by the owners daughters.. you couldn’t make this up new fav restaurant with flavour to savour for all ;-) Superbo, eccellente un ottimo
