I loved it. Absolutely loved it. Harry, you are such a great host. Very helpful with places to visit. Food was 100%. Value was 100%. Atmosphere was 100%. Staff were tip top. I left there with only one word.... WOW!

Very nice restaurant, staff were friendly and good flavours. The menu was on an IPad which made it hard to read and decide what we wanted. Paper menus are much better so you can compare options. Portions of Orzo and risotto were Too big, most people couldn’t finish their meals. Arranchini was DELICIOUS

Love this place the food is amazing and full of flavour with clean plates all round and the cocktails are fantastic. They have a great happy hour also but what makes the place so special are the staff they are so friendly and helpful and and in particular Ray who I think is a manager and Dave from behind the bar. Highly recommend and we'll be back soon!

Excellent service, delicious food and helpful staff. The manager , Rebecca, looked after us so well--a gem!!! I ordered goats cheese as a starter, hake as a main and Italian meringue as a dessert. Really enjoyed all 3 courses. I will definitely recommend Fratelli to my friends and look forward to returning very soon.

Good vibes, services, and food. Although the flavours could be slightly better. The pasta portion was extra large and so the flavours lacked slightly. But overall very good.

Pizza was amazing, carbonara was ok not the best I have had. Dough balls with garlic butter wasn't great. Was more like a roll not spongy like dough. Cocktails are great and tasty.

Although very busy, the staff were very attentive and had a great mannerism. Main was more enjoyable than the starter, but overall lovely food. The drink selection is great, whilst the cocktails not only taste nice but look gorgeous. Open quite late so it makes a very nice setting to sit into the late evening whilst parking and public transport links are all great.

We were only in town for one night and starving. We happened to walk in on a Thursday at 5pm, which meant buy one get one free cocktails. We tried several and they were all delicious, fresh and not overly sweet. The food was nicely portioned and delicious. I definitely recommend this place.

Went here at midday, so there was almost no one. Well decorated and great staff! The lunch menu is very worthy. I didn't honestly expect the salad would be this large for only £3. Nice soup and risotto as well!

Food was good but the service was a bit slow. It was a busy Saturday night so understandable. They have good kids menu and kids get to actually make 5heir own pizza with a hat and apron each too. This was real fun. For dessert kids were allowed to pick their own icecream from the fridge so that was a novelty too.

I've been to fratelli a few times and have never been disappointed with the food or service. However this evening did not start promisingly. When we arrived it was clear the restaurant was extremely busy but upstairs wasn't open... which was a surprise as they could've easily accommodated us there. We were advised that a table would be about 20 minutes but actually we waited closer to 30. This in itself isn't an issue but the bar area is small so there was little room to stand and we felt we were constantly in the way of the staff, who were rushed off their feet. What frustrated me a little was there was no update from the staff - and the table we ended up sitting at had been free from about 5 minutes after we arrived. However... the food was excellent and it was worth the wait. I had a gluten free pizza and it was fabulous - lovely thin base and the toppings were generous without being too much. My colleagues also commented on how good their food was. The portion sizes are very generous. I would definitely recommend Fratelli - thou might be best to call ahead just in case!

Amazing atmosphere! The food was really really lovely, got a free appetizer of the day! Drinks were really nice, had a couple nonalcoholic cocktails that were to die for. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will go next time I'm back in Belfast.

We were visiting Belfast as a family for a few days and just Googled restaurants near where we were staying and this came up. We booked a table last minute and the restaurant was really busy when we got there and throughout the evening, but the service could not have been better. Our server, Rebecca, was incredibly attentive particularly to my dietary needs. I'm lactose intolerant, but they had a dairy free menu with a wide range of choices for starters and mains. They didn't have anything for dessert or any dairy free milk for coffee, but I was so full I couldn't have managed anything more. Between us we had garlic bread, prawns, pizzas, seafood pasta, hake, garlic greens, garlic chips (my boyfriend and brother couldn't get over how amazing these were) and all of it was delicious, well cooked and well presented. The house Merlot was also good. Good value and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.

Me and the girlfriend got a booking at Fratelli to try for our 2 year anniversary and we loved it. The girlfriend loves Italian food and is also a vegetarian so the fact that the restaurant had its own vegetarian menu was a great find. The staff were lovely and the service was quick. We thought the food tasted fantastic and the pasta which my girlfriend received was definitely made fresh. My pizza was gorgeous and cooked perfectly. The drink selections were also great, she loved the cocktails on offer. The only downfall for the evening was the noise, which for a very busy restaurant was something that we couldn't avoid and my girlfriend was also let down slightly by the dessert menu. Being vegetarian and also having a nut allergy ((A lot of the desserts have nut ingredients/gelatin)) there was not a lot of choice for her. I couldn't however take a star off for that because with the chocolate mousse she received, she thought it tasted great, maybe just get two next time. My ice cream was pretty great too! All in all a fantastic evening with even better food. Glad we found another restaurant we love and one that we will definitely come back too.

Had a late dinner here, food was great. Got garlic bread, the smoked salmon linguine and the lasagne. Garlic bread was disappointing but the mains were super tasty and very well portioned. Good value for money overall. Service could be faster (took us a while to grab the attention of the waitress), but waitress was very friendly.

We had the rumpsteak £23-, and pork loin £18,50. Both really good. The food didn't take long after ordering and was nicely hot. Enjoyed it very much. Staff friendly as well. Only one small thing, instead of fries we ordered baked potatoes and it was at extra charge. Not a biggie but would have been nice if mentioned.

My daughter and I went for dinner here on a rare night out in Belfast. From the minute we arrived till the minute we left, we found the service of the staff and management fantastic. We were very impressed with the extensive menu with something for every palate and appetite. We enjoyed the entire meal from starters to desserts and the cocktails were tasty with a 2 for 1 deal between 5pm and 7pm. I highly recommend trying this restaurant for a first class dining experience.

Stumbled upon this place on a quiet afternoon. Stylish looking place with nice decor. Really friendly staff, a specific gluten free menu (for my coeliac daughter), and delicious food. The pizzas and pastas were genuinely tasty. For the GF options alone I'd rank it but the combination of positives deserves 5 stars. Nice touch with a quality street wrapped in every napkin..

Post wedding meal next day. No idea where to go a d came upon Fratellis. They could accommodate 9 people so in we came. Good choice of menu to suit the party and the kitchen could tailor make my meal without garlic. Loved the wee hidden chocolate sweetie in our napkin. Not overly expensive. I was here with family for my partner's 30th. The staff were brilliant in handling her surprise birthday cake, she didn't have a clue. The food was spectacular, tapas style starters meatballs were so tasty & the prawns done in chilli & garlic were to die for, for the main i had the 10oz rump steak medium rare which was cooked to perfection and the skin on thick cut garlic chips and creamy peppered sauce was delightful. My son like most kids is pizza crazy so getting a go at making his own pizza as he put in "in a real pizza restaurant" made his night.

Unfortunately they recently changed their menu reducing the number of pastas they offer which is a real shame for pasta lovers. A huge plus tho is an extensive gluten free and dairy free menu for those with intolerances!

The food is amazing. We had a starter of mixed breads with cured Italian ham and pesto and olive dips. We were so full we had to take the pizza and fries to go. The monk fish looks great. Service friendly and prompt. It's in the diary for everytime we go to Belfast.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I had the sea bass. Unfortunately it wasn't fresh. My sister had a seafood dish and she said the seafood was cooked from frozen. Having said that if we had ordered traditional Italian food that didn't contain fish it probably would have been fine.

I took my wife here on her birthday. Atmosphere was good and it was not too busy on a Sunday night. Enough people were there to make it companionable, but not enough to turn it into a noisy horde. I suspect the restaurant would be busier on a Friday or Saturday. I had booked the table for two online in advance and was a little worried that we would be crammed into a small table. I needn't have worried: they gave us a table set for four and took away the extra settings. That was nice. Also a (very) nice touch: they gave my wife a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Neither of us drink very much, my wife even less so than me, but it was a kind gesture. I ended up downing it along with my main course. We just took a carafe of water with our meal, which tasted great (both the water and the meal). The menu had a massive selection so it took us time to read and absorb it all. We didn't bother with starters although they looked very attractive. Eventually, I had the beef, which was delicious, along with two sides: potatoes and vegetables. I was very happy with my meal choice. My wife had the lamb, which was tasty, but there was a large bone in the middle of it so she struggled at times to get enough meat to fill a forkfull. The desserts were awesome and we could pick multiple desserts so that made for a very entertaining final stage for the meal. The bill came to just under 70 quid (no wine, as I say we just drank water) which struck me as expensive but perhaps that is par for the course with Belfast? All in all a great experience with very tasty food. Dropped only one star because of the price, but can recommend eating at Fratelli for a treat.

Place was empty and the guy had to 'check the computer' to see if there was a table for myself, my wife and kid. The food was ok, the fries were very dear (£4) for the small portion size and the pizza had a burnt taste The staff were not that friendly or attentive. Turns out this is a different restaurant. Fewer choices of pizza and pasta on the menu. We were moved downstairs without any fuss or bother and helped by the upstairs waiter (we had started drinks}. Strange set up an why on earth this wasn't explained on entry I do not know. However, its ok in here.

I am absolutely enamoured with this restaurant. Fantastic for a working lunch with their shrink menu and great variety of Italian dishes. Brilliant venue to meet friends in the evening and have drinks. It suits most times and locations! The free surprise in your napkin never fails to amuse me (and tide me over) alongside snacks present to the table before ordering, breadsticks/slices of bread and some form of tapenade. I absolutely love Fratelli!

We could not have had a better experience at fratellis!! I have never experienced better service- we were celebrating our adoption day & the staff went above & beyond to ensure we all had a great dinner. The children LOVED getting dressed up & making their own pizza- so different from any other restaurant we have been to. The covered balcony was the perfect way to end the evening with coffee & dessert, snuggled under the blankets & with the fire blazing we did not feel like we were in the middle of rainy Belfast! HUGE thank you to Ray & Rebecca- we will absolutely be back!

Staff polite but forgetful waited 10 mins for water! Not as good as on previous visits - main courses were a tad disappointing- rissottos were overcooked and stodgy and duck dish was served well done instead of requested pink - out of the 4 mains only the hake was up to usual standard - I can only assume it was result of it bring very busy and as we have had lovely meals here before it won't put us off going back to try again
