Reviews of The Chubby Cherub
A. O. T.
We literally both felt we where in Italy 🇮🇹
Food👉 This restaurant is definitely one of the best restaurants we have been to. Food was literally melt in your mouth. Tasted so homely. Absolutely beautiful.
Decor 👉 Quirky... earthy... outdoor... feel
Atmosphere 👉 Very chilled relaxed vibe
Service 👉 Excellent. Our waitress was so professional & friendly. She recommended several dishes on the menu to us. She also brought me the most gorgeous birthday cocktail 🍸
Thanks Chubby Cherub 👼
We will look forward to seeing you soon 💛

Nice Italian restaurant. Quite busy but the staff were very friendly.
Had a very tasty salad and my partner had meatballs. Both came out freshly prepared and were beautiful.

Not my first and definitely not last visit! Been here before, yet my recent visit was especially pleasant. I didn’t get the name, but the man in the picture was really good. He gave me some vegetarian/vegan recommendations & was very attentive. Probably the busiest member of staff that day, which was quite hard to get the bill but it’s understandable. Definitely will return as I fell in love with your meat free spaghetti ☺️

I had such good experience, my wedding day, we had lunch, best beef Lasagna that I ever had, everything fresh, one of my friends had carbonara , just amazing! Staff very helpful and friendly. I ll come back for sure.
S. F.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was unreal. We had the sharing platter for 2 to start it was so tasty. For mains we had Lasagne and Chicken in bechamel sauce with mushrooms and potatoes every morsel was delicious. We were so full but dessert looked so good we took it away. Highly recommend this restaurant .
M. W.
The food is amazing, good portion size, but the best thing was that the staff there is amazing, friendly and very professional. The kids combo meal was amazing and our little one liked it a lot.
F.
Beautiful restaurant. A perfect first date location, or a catch up with friends, or a family meal. The menu is really good, lots to choose from including a whole separate vegan section with plenty of options. The food is really delicious and cocktails are great as well. The staff are all very professional, warm and welcoming. Can’t wait to go again!!
M. H.
Amazing food and drinks. Had tuscany flower drink which was so gooood. Absolutely worth of the money. Ordered vegan pizza which was also very well made. I finished it and forgot to take a picture. The interior is very stunning and the atmosphere was great too. Such a vibe. Looking forward of going back.

Fantastic Italian in the heart of Belfast. Go for doughballs, goats cheese crostini, and carbonara, paired with an amaretto sour and finish up with a cannoli.
P. H.
The decorations inside are just beautiful with the hanging chandeliers, mirrors and beautiful ceiling art. Nothing over the top yet, classy. The food is really good. The menu has pastas and pizzas for main. We didn't book ahead, yet, the staff were able to accommodate us during lunch time. Their tiramisu is good portion, not the best I had but it's quite good. Their irish coffee was really really good. The food was delish, cooked exactly right and the portion was really good value for money. Their drinks menu is lovely with recipes included for some the drinks! How cool is that?!
S. R.
Absolutely beautiful place. The interior is just stunning. We ordered a few pizzas to share and ate every crumb. The Italian bramble cocktail was delicious. It was my birthday and they brought me out a big slice of very tasty cake and sang happy birthday to me. Very unexpected! Would recommend
I. P.
Tasty Italian food! The risotto was really good and was a big portion. Their lasagna was quite good too. Their cocktails were nice. Our server was very friendly but it was a busy night so it was hard to get their attention, especially seated outside. Overall a very pleasant experience nonetheless so would go back again.

Cozy ambience😍food tasted great, the girl who served our food was so nice, helpful and attentive❤️
O. F.
Absolutely top class. Great atmosphere, great staff and food was incredible. Would definitely recommend to anyone, please try the sorbetto cocktail. It is so different, a taste of Italy I would say!! 10/10

We were greeted by a very friendly staff member on arrival and taken immediately to our table. The same staff member settled our bill for us at the end of the evening. Unfortunately that was the only good service we received during our visit. I had to try and catch the attention of passing staff members to follow up on previous requests for drinks/dessert menu/bill etc. I enjoyed my starter, however, my choice of maincourse from the menu tasted very bland. This restaurant imposes a 10% service charge on bills rather than allowing a discretionary tip based on service received.

Tried here for the first back in September with y husband for our anniversary. Service was top class, they even put us at a table called Cupid's Corner when they knew it was are anniversary. The food was amazing. We had a starter to share and then are main meals. The restaurant decor is beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. I have been back once since and it was as great then as it was the first time. I Will definitely be returning more often after restrictions ease more!
P. R.
What a fantastic place. The best staff ever and the food is top notch. Ask for recommendations if you can't make your mind up. Mix it up a bit and don't just go for the dishes you have had at a hundred other Italian restaurants.
F. R.
Absolutely brilliant experience at the Chubby Cherub last night. We brought our daughter out for a surprise meal as she is studying in Queens college. The staff ,food and overall experience was fantastic.. could not have wished for better.. Fully recommend this excellent restaurant
H. v.
for all yous w food allergies THIS PLACE IS GREAT! Went last night and had the best wee time and obviously amazing food.
Can recommend booking beforehand and noting your allergies/intolerances in the notes bit (and I’ve got quite the list so was fearing it a wee bit).
What was absolutely brilliant is that i got a call on the day from the staff saying they’d spoken to the head chef who’d double checked all the ingredients (down to the garlic present in their tomato sauce) and offered to specially make variations of stuff off the menu :,))
The staff were SO friendly and so careful w double checking all the food for me and throughout the night.
Cannot recommend enough.
THANK YOUS!! <3

Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a cute night out. Really recommend their Amaretto sour. :)
A. A.
I'll start by saying the restaurant is very on theme with the Mediterranean, the decor is very pretty and I feel like they had a lot of fun doing the place up definitely one of the top restaurants I've been to when it comes to how attractive it is. Furthermore they keep on theme with unique names for food (one spicy pizza being named vesuvius). The food itself was delightful I had the carbonara with chicken added which I cannot recommend enough. The restaurant is a bit more on the expensive side but you are certainly getting what you paid for in quality of food and level of service as I never had to wait long to be attended to. The only reason I haven't gone for 5* is that there was some drinks unavailable that my party was looking to order but don't let that take away that on any other day this establishment can be a 5* experience
E. R.
Caesar salad is the best I have had for a long time. I don’t eat mest and when I asked for the chicken Caesar salad without meat, I was told very gruffly that they would have to charge me the same price. Didn’t argue. But don’t understand. Please put one on the menu without meat. Other than that very highly recommended.
C. R.
Menu outside was completely different to the one we were given at the table. Selection of dishes was limited. Food really wasn't all that great compared to other Italian places I've been to. I ordered meatballs and they were dry as dust and the sauce was middling at best. Decor was shabby, and not in a chic way. Cocktail menu looked like it had been dunked in the sink repeatedly and haphazardly dried out using an old hair dryer (thankfully the cocktails themselves were amazing). Food was way overpriced, but at least the starters were good.
+1 star for the starters and cocktails, +1 another for the honestly great music (I've not been to many Italian restaurants which actually play Italian music, and this one played exclusively 70s/80s tracks, you know the kinds that are way more popular with Russian people than Italian people? Yeah those ones) and the last star is for providing me with an entertainingly bad night out which I haven't stopped thinking about since I was last here in October 2021.
M. M.
Mussels!!!! A must try. Everything was amazing at this restaurant. Staff, atmosphere, drinks and food. We went on a Wednesday evening at 6 and restaurant was almost full. Would reccomend booking. Will definitely return next time I'm in Belfast.
S. L.
Let's start with the positives - the food & cocktails could not be faulted.
We had pre booked and paid a deposit (which we had no issue with) we got sat near the bathroom door , behind the bar , we didn't feel like we where part of the restaurant. We asked to be moved and as a soon as better table became available we where moved (thankfully).
We were given no time to look at menus and asked twice to place our orders which we were not ready to do. We were then ignored and eventually had to ask for our order to be taken. After our main course we were asked if we would like dessert menus, we then waited 30 minutes and did not receive them, our drinks at this point were also empty with no offer to reorder. After all this, we finally received our bill to find a service charge added at the end.
Huge potential but rushed, rude untrained service was a huge let down

Found this place when we were craving Italian food. It was amazing. The interior is super cute (very Instagramable). Shared a bottle of prosecco between friends and everyone's food came out pretty quick. Everything was delicious. We went in the middle of the week. You'll definitely need a reservation if you try to go here ok the weekend.
C. M.
Very mixed experience. The food was very nice. We didn't prebook because we didn't know we would be in Belfast at that time. When squaring up the bill we were told of the "great" discount offered for prebooking !!! A bit unfair but considering I reminded the waiter of a quite substantial price of missing items off my bill, he took too much joy in telling me I had missed out on price. Not even a mention of customer honesty. I rather feel now I should have discounted my own bill by saying nothing. Many restaurants are going through tough times, so I couldn't not say about their mistake. An acknowledgement of my honesty would have been nice. Therefore I would find it hard to recommend them. Sad 😔 because the experience at checkout spoiled a nice meal.

Always had a great meal in this restaurant. Beautiful atmospheric surroundings, great food, amazing cocktails, very friendly staff. Excellent all round.

This place is excellent . Great food , good atmosphere

Just ate here. Always meant to call in. I really liked the decoration and the Italian ingrediants displayed. Made me have high hopes as I love Italian food. I got the meatballs. Food was OK. Pasta was over cooked. The sauce was very watery and the pasta wasn't tossed In the sauce. I asked for extra parmigiano, I didn't get much but it wasn't even grated which was a bit lazy in my opinion. Was like prepackaged slices. My girlfriend got some of the bruschetta, I wouldn't even call it that was very sloppy. It's not that hard to make this sort of food and it just seems like every Italian eatery in Belfast (that I've tried) won't put in the effort. Not overcooking pasta, thickening sauce , good tomatoes, fresh grated cheese etc you've such a good spot and the building is beautiful. I believe in yous. We need proper Italian restaurants that understand the art of Italian food, Its the best cuisine in the world !!
Not trying to be a d**k hence the 4 stars. Staff were lovely as well. I will return, I just hope the food is a bit better. Not over cooking the pasta and thickening/ tossing in the sauce should be fundamental.

Came a few years ago and had a great time so decided to revisit, unfortunately this time wasn’t so good. First of all, we had a table that felt like it had been crammed in, it didn’t look like it belonged there and for that reason we were very close to other tables and we were tight against the wall, making it hard to use cutlery etc. We ordered a garlic pizza bread for starters and our plates came still wet with water running off them from being washed. A small petty thing I know, but it’s the small things that count. Lastly and most importantly, our pizza just wasn’t great. We both had plain margherita so it should have been easy enough to get the ratio of everything right. Unfortunately there was barely any tomato sauce on both pizzas, making them very dry and hard to eat. Our first visit was amazing, so I’m hoping this was a one off anomaly.
A. P.
Great food great atmosphere, but book in advance. Reasonable prices
j.
Got the garlic prawns bruschetta and a standard pepperoni pizza. Was okay, service was a bit slow
S. W.
This is a lovely restaurant decor is fab and menu was varied with a vegan menu too lots of choice.
They only make the cocktails on the menu which was disappointing for me as I prefer Cosmo. All in all a great day out.
G. J.
Brilliant service with the food being slightly above average. Definitely on the expensive side in terms of food for what you’re paying for. Decor is very nice inside.
A. T.
The Chubby Cherub is a beautiful place to visit for dinner. Our waitress was incredible. Despite supplier issues meaning my wife and I could not have most of the vegan food options, she did everything she could to make sure we had an enjoyable meal and a fun night.
G. C.
Beautiful place, nice ambience and music, the chocolate cake was great
C. M.
This is the 2nd time there and found the staff and food excellent service knowledge of the menu great my only downfall was seating near kitchen abit cramp four people how u say maybe abit heavy lol and frighten with loads of glasses on table when dinners arrive but otherwise a most enjoyable night looking forward to round 3 in the near future thanks for great night
D. M.
Breakfast amazing, can’t wait to go back to try their lunch menu. Decor and music made me feel like I was in a Godfather movie. Amazing place. A must try for Belfast.
J. S.
Wow wow wow! Food was deeeeelish! Definitely recommend staff were lovely and decor was so pretty. Will be returning if I am in belfast again.
L. O. H.
The place was very cozy but also not very comfortable. Not sure, probably just me. The decorations looks absolutely gorgeous though but don't expect the food that much.
I had the lemon cake and it tasted pretty...... cheap.. very cheap....
Coffee was fine tho if you are interested in just for a tea time.
D. M.
Chubby Curib....romantic meal with my wife Pat....just one small minor fault...no Bruschetta but the main meal and desert was excellent...lovely staff and service....would not hesitate to return here....😀
B. R.
Although it may look a little pricey- it was more than worth it. The atmosphere was lovely and the environment felt special. Their pasta was good but I would recommend the pizza as that was the star of the show and one of the best pizzas I've ever had.
Service was good and quick. Lovely staff.
Perfect for a romantic date or family meal.
F. P. C.
The cafe is just gorgeous! 😍 The decorations are beautiful and the prices are okay. We had coffee and desserts because we were full. I wish we were hungry and had a chance to eat deliciously looking food. 😊
n. f.
Had a beautiful lunch here mid week, the food was absolutely delicious and the service from Frances and the other girl (sorry didn't get her name) was 1st class!! Cant wait to get back again!!!
J. L.
Absolutely adorbale place to eat. So good, friendly service, delicious food. Warm atmosphere good staff and very accommodating!!
M. Z.
Gorgeous place. Service fast and the staff lovely. The food was barely seasoned though so that’s the only down side. Also big portions 6 pieces of garlic bread for a starter, that’s a lot! But over all food was decent and place nice.
H. M.
Food was yummy , service needs work . Staff all pleasant just not very organized .
D. M.
Last minute booking and it was a simple automated system. Entered to a warm welcome and a warm italian setting. Staff moved us to a larger table when we ordered the giant pizza- delish by the way, and more than enough for 2.
Recommended house wine was a super Pinot. Again lady in charge tested the temperature and rejected the offered bottle for a colder one.
Peace to eat our meal.
Lovely surroundings.
Friendly, knowledgeably staff.
Good food.
And wow....great value.
DONT PASS IT BY.
S.
The place is extremely busy, we got seated outside.Food was lovely not a massive amount of choice. We ordered a drink that was forgotten about and then had to ask for the bill twice. So good food but poor service.
B. P.
Beautiful atmosphere and setting.
Food unbelievably tasty and so good.
Wish id taken pictures however was too busy contorting my face to the tasty pleasures dancing in my mouth
G. M.
Lovely food, generous portions, nice drink. Reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and very busy. Staff professional and helpful
K. M.
Had lunch at the deli, fantastic staff and great food, well worth a visit.
l.
Food was lovely, little expensive but since it was so good I was happy to pay a bit more. One waitress was absolutely lovely but our main waitress was always frowning and really looked like she didn't want to be there. We ordered desert, she forgot to tell the kitchen and had us waiting at least 10 minutes. If we remove that particular waitress from the equation it would have been 5 stats from me but she ruined it lol
D.
Best food I ever had all natural sourced food...Their tear bread I got for the starter wow thats what I call good food👌Real Italian feel venue, great staff, expensive but I don't mind paying for that quality food🇮🇹🍝I had been too another Italian restaurant the night before and wasn't no where near this place😎Drinks are really good👌
We are seasoned travellers and have been to lots of places..but this place tops it for me well done guys.
B. E.
Beautiful looking restaurant. We hadn't booked a table but they managed to squeeze us in. The food we had was very nice and tasty. Reasonable sized portions didn't leave us feeling absolutely stuffed. The staff were very good, helpful and friendly.
S. S.
This place was amazing. The staff were genuinely friendly. The food was fantastic and a free glass of wine never hurts. They also sell vecchia romagna brandy which brings me straight back to Italy. It was all fantastic.
K. C.
Excellent pizza, nice interior and atmosphere. Pricey though. charged me £2 for tea and automatically added a service charge to the bill.
S. A. S.
Beautiful atmosphere and their hummus on toast and artichoke vegan pizza was amazing
C. C.
First visit. Pizza ovens hadnt been turned on and therefore pizza off the menu until after 1.30pm which was an hour too late for us which was a shame. The food we did have was average and quite expensive for lunch. Service was pretty good.
A. W.
We had dinner here one night and enjoyed the mussels (so so so delicious) and goat cheese pizza! It was fantastic, our server was sweet, and the ambiance was phenomenal. The decor is kinda girly/romantic in the best way. My only complaint is that it gets pretty hot in there with the pizza oven going, so grab a seat near the door. 😊
E. O.
Very nice restaurant, the food is delicious and the waiters are very kind! Also not too busy and in a quiet street in Belfast. If I will ever come again to Belfast, I will definitely visit The Chubby Cherub again!!!
M. H.
Really amazing food, super friendly staff and they have created a really romantic atmosphere. The music was amazing too! A true little gem in Belfast!
C. W.
Great Food, Very Good Cocktails and an interesting decor. A definite must go to in Belfast.
L. M.
Lovely place, friendly staff. Pizza was delicious. Nice atmosphere.
O. K.
One of the best places for authentic Italian. Their range of non alcoholic beverages is incredible, most restaurants have the usual mundane drinks but the chubby cherub goes above and beyond. I've always come away satisfied, even after having only one course. The decor is wonderful and transports you right out of Belfast. Would highly recommend.
F. C.
Fantastic spot for lunch or just to escape from the weather and crowds. Big book of cocktails to choose from which I'm told are great. I had one of the meat pizzas and it was delicious.. thin and crispy base with simple strong flavours. Thru also have lots of Italian classic dishes which looked great.. I'll be trying them next time
T. H.
The staff were absolutely fantastic, we went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and they were so accommodating with bringing out candles and helping us celebrate. Unfortunately I didn't get the waitresses names but they are all a credit to their employer and lovely people. The food was delicious too and had brilliant veggie options. I would 100% recommend this restaurant if you're in Belfast
P. C.
Really great food & great friendly service. Loved the interior decor.
J. R.
A great place food lovely and friendly staff music and atmosphere makes you feel as you are in Italy highly recommended here
G. D.
Second visit to The Chubby Cherub and will definitely go back for a third and fourth. The food is really tasty and the service friendly and quick. I would recommend searching out this little gem for a meal if you are in Belfast.
T. S.
Wonderful restaurant. Good service, excellent quality and good value. Portions are big so be prepared. Chef is superb and runs a very good kitchen and service. Highly recommended and definitely on our return visit list.
D. A.
Thank you for your lovely service.
Friendly staff & very tasty food!
Atmosphere very cozy!
A. S.
First time visit! Definitely be back food absolutely delicious, friendly service and atmosphere
A. C.
Now Now - belfast does Michelin in disguise 🥸
Roll up Roll Up , they were queuing to get in from the corner to the road.
Never been here before , young staff , great food and didn't even blink about paying the service charge that's rare for me. Please Please book and pay the deposit as they turned people away every 10 minutes 🙏
Personally for a Wednesday Night I was so impressed.
Thank you 😊
S. K.
The ambiance is amazing, the music was delightful.
The food was delicious and the service excellent
I would recommend a visit
K. M.
Wonderful decor. I love this place. Service 😳
R. T.
Lovely lovely lovely decoration and nice ambiance!! The food is great yet little overpriced. The service is good. They don’t have high chairs so I don’t recommend bringing young kids.
P. F.
Food was good but its just too pokey for my liking. 6 of us were sandwiched into a corner which I didn't care for personally.
I. Š.
Lovely small restaurant in city centre of Belfast. The place is very cozy and food was delicious. Next time when I go to Belfast, I will come for lunch/dinner 🤗
p. l.
When I want something great, no matter where I am, Italian is always the best. This restaurant went higher than my expectations with Italian.
C. G.
Unfortunately no photos from this quirky little restaurant in the heart of Belfast City centre. Mostly Italian dishes to tantalise the taste buds. Food was great. I would give 5 stars but having to wait for drinks orders seemed to take longer than expected so I've deducted a star. Don't let this put you off though.
D. T.
We went to Chubby Cherub in Belfast for my wife’s Birthday, Ryan and the team couldn’t have been nicer, all the staff were really friendly and the food was amazing, I can’t recommend it highly enough! The Rose Prosecco was amazing and so was the tiramisu cocktails we can’t wait to go again.
Thanks so much David and Ruth.
T. D.
Had walked past Chubby Cherub many times when I was working in Belfast promising myself I would go there. So finally got to eat there on Friday 25th and I was not disappointed.Despite reading bad reviews and hearing not very glowing comments from friends of friends I am glad I did not believe all I read/heard. Having worked in hospitality industry I would have no qualms about paying a service charge something that most reviewers complained about. The staff were very friendly, attentive and approachable and food was authentically Italian and delicious. I had Canoli for dessert and it was out of this world delicious. Loved every moment and mouthful and will go back again. Thank you Chubby Cherub
C. H.
Ordered the carbonara, and it was very good. Decor inside was lovely
A. D.
Amazing food.. chubby cherub pizza had a thin base, with pepperoni, parma ham and sundried tomatoes..fab. Nice lemonchello followed by the best tiramasu I have ever tasted. Great service..lovely team who were so attentive and friendly. Nice decor.. felt welcomed. Highly recommended..will be back next time we are in Belfast. You need to book ahead as its a very busy restaurant.
L. D.
Really good food, strangely decorated inside. Good veggie options though.
J. D.
Very tasty food, really nice friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely come here again.
M. B.
Fab service with delicious food! Thanks again for the free cocktails! We would definitely recommend and we will certainly return!
M. S.
Really nice place. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere, great food, great facilities.
M. M.
I came away disappointed after a Sunday morning breakfast. Lovely decor and helpful staff but a bit over priced for the food experience we had.
C. S.
Great decor and even better food
Can highly recommend the mussels and Chubby Cherub pizza
J. a.
Only had 30 minutes to eat as we were rushing to get back on the tour bus. Very friendly and fast service! Loved the Verona salad and pizza!
b. m.
Food was amazing staff were a fantastic bunch of people, im definitely going back
R. D.
The staff are always so so friendly! I always know I'm gonna have a lovely time here and have never been disappointed. Brilliant team, gorgeous food and loved the music
C. W.
Always go there for some nice cocktails and sharing plates
J.
Portions of the mains are just right. All seemed to be freshly prepared. Had to ask for spoons then serviettes which should have been provided but otherwise service very good and friendly
C. B.
Everything was fantastic, from the decor and atmosphere to the staff and delicious food. Reasonably priced for what we got. Food and cocktails were up there with the best we've had. Would definitly come back and highly reccomend. Would give it 10 stars if i could.
M. M.
I was only in for a coffee but really enjoyed the atmosphere you have created. Its kind of like being on a mushroom trip in an italian back street, orange and lemon trees growing vibrantly inside with little cherubs flying all around. Lovely jab.
L. C.
LOVED everything about this restaurant! We got seated as soon as we arrived (pre-booked), the food was amazing and the service was exceptional. The food came out so quickly, the waiters were incredible and while the manager was super busy, she was very attentive. Would recommend this place to friends and family! Such a unique restaurant.
G. S.
Very good food, top notch, would definitely recommend the tear and share bread
G. S.
Came to belfast today for a couple of nights to enjoy our anniversary. Booked The chubby cherub, after going through reviews on line, of restaurants near our hotel. Let me say we were not disappointed at all. We were aced on table 22, cupids corner, very romantic for the day that was in it. Food was fantastic, ambience superb , cocktails and beverages spot on, but the staff were very very attentive without being intrusive,. We could see the food being prepared and this is always a nkce thing. Staff seemed to enjoy working here too, always smiling. Again the food was super, would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant when you visit Belfast.
W. Y.
Great Italian restaurant for couples. Dine like prince/princess.
T. M.
Great Italian restaurant, food delicious and servers friendly. Service prompt. Bread staters to share and plenty. Four of us had something different and each dish was plentiful and tasty .its a restaurant were people go for the setting and photos as its quite unique, but go back, as we will, for the service and food !
T. M.
Best sun-dried tomatoes I have ever had!!! Food was sumptuous and delicious. Excellent range of cocktails. Staff lovely and very good value
A. M.
Had lunch at the CC last week, best pizza I ever tasted. Agree with some of the other reviews, very poor selection of pasta dishes and drink very expensive. I would return and look forward to it. Staff were lovely, not sure how the deposit works, my friend paid it but it didn’t come of the bill.
G. E. (. U.
Great decor, lovely staff and the food was very good too. Nice place to have a spot of lunch or simply to chill out.
C. S.
It was good, didn't have my first choice of food, my friend had to change their order, we didn't get the coffee and when the initial bill came the deposit wasn't taken off. Food was ok but nothing special, sorry. It was really busy and I understand why we were hurriedly asked to pay the bill. Some people like this place, I probably won't be back but that is just personal preference
P. P.
Wow....just wow.......this is a wonderful little restaurant. This was recommended to me by my sister and I must say my wife and I were not disappointed. The decor was decadent and with the Godfather theme playing quietly in the background I felt like someone out of the Sopranos hahahaha. Seriously though the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. If in Belfast you got to check this place out. We will definitely be back 😊😊
C. R.
Lovely setting, Food was really nice
C. L.
This place is like something from a movie, the food, atmosphere and staff were incredible.
My new favourite restaurant in Belfast, I will without a doubt be returning soon.
J. L.
Absolutely fantastic food here, would highly recommend! I have had Italian food in many restaurants and this one has to be right up there with the best. Love the atmosphere and the service provided here also. All round great place to eat 👌
Á. m.
Absolutely divine! Highly recommended, food was exceptional. Great choice of drinks including none alcoholic spritzers & vegan menu also available. Staff were friendly & attentive. Beautiful decor & ambience, music not too loud. We will be definitely returning!
M. M.
Lovely staff, nice setting. The food was disappointing. Batch loaf used for everything and it was stale... the bruschetta was very basic - like something I'd made as a student.
T. O.
10/10 experience. The food was really great and very well priced. I'm not a huge fan of Italian. However, the combination of the atmosphere, the food and the staff really made it a special experience. There was a few bad reviews I noticed in the past week or two. I can genuinely say this was not my experience and would 100% recommend!

Fantastic vegan pizza and great atmosphere!
A. J.
Gorgeous restaurant. Friendly service and food was superb!
G. C.
Lunch catching up with friends. Great staff & lovely food.

The Roasted Vegetable Manicotti is very good. Simple, yet, very tasty. With a glass of red wine, chef's kiss

Visited the CC yesterday and it was disappointing to say the least. Arrived 10 minutes early and the manager seemed flustered, but she was pleasant.
We were seated at a table and waited over ten minutes before asking a waitress for a menu and to order drinks. Not a big deal as staff were busy but a waitress did walk past us empty handed about 4 times and we were unable to catch her eye.
We ordered bread basket and hummus to start. The starters came quickly and hummus was nice. Bread 'tear and share' was just 4 very thin, quite stale slices of bread for £7. Now I had visited a few weeks before for outdoor dining and then we had a selection of different breads. We asked the waitress why it was different today and she explained that the other bread was in the oven and wouldn't be ready for another 10 mins. If you don't have the item then it should be taken off the menu or we would have been happy to wait if this was explained to us when ordering. The manager did ask would we like some brought out when it was ready, but we declined as we thought our main meals would be arriving soon.
We then waited nearly an hour for our main meals while other tables who arrived us were being served before us. Again, not really a big deal as the wine was lovely and we were in no rush.
What happened next was really quite shocking. Food arrived and gnocchi and carbonara were lovely. One of us ordered 'ravioli' only to be told 'the chef didn't have any made up so he made risotto instead' I am sorry but I have never heard of a restaurant just substituting a meal for another without letting the customer know!! I have worked in restaurants and completely understand that mistakes can be made, but the waitress was so unbelievably rude when she barked at us 'Well it wasn't me that took your order!' The manager came and apologised and offered to make something else but as our other mains had already been sitting for a while we accepted the risotto. However, the waitress did have to take it back to kitchen to check it was vegan as she is allergic to dairy. The manager did take the bead and risotto off the bill which we were grateful for.
We then had to ask the rude waitress for water which she slammed on the table without saying a word!! If she can't take a valid criticism without taking it personally then she should rethink her career in hospitality!!
The only reason why I am giving it 3 stars is because I have had lovely meals in it before and understand that it is a difficult time for restaurants. But PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF! It is the little things that make an ok meal turn to a great meal. Even after our terrible experience with the main, the waiter came to clear our plates and asked did we want a dessert. We said could we have a look at the cocktail menu, but we wanted 2 tiramisu cocktails. However we had to wait a further 10 mins for someone to come back and take the third drink order.
We then asked could we sit outside to enjoy them and the waitress brought out our 2 tiramisu cocktails for us which was nice. She the got mixed up with the third cocktail but this was rectified quickly.
We enjoyed our cocktails outside and wanted to order another round, however, no one came near us again despite there being people eating outside. We waited and waited and by this point were so irate we just got up to ask for the bill. Now what were the waiters doing that they were too busy to check on us? PLAY FIGHTING. Yes standing in a circle and pretending to push eachother!!
The manager came and took our payment and apologised again for our experience. £93 down for a ruined birthday lunch.
D. C.
Both had pizza as a main, decent enough, but nothing special. Place has a nice atmosphere and very nice décor, but a limited menu.
M. D.
Great food, salads are very nice, nice pizza as well. Their drinks are reasonably priced and are great quality although their coffee based cocktails are quite strong. Expect to spend around £40-45 for two people with a service charge.
R. M. (.
Friend and I visited. Despite having a reservation we weren't seated for about 15.
Overall, the food is quite nice. However can't help but feel its a little overpriced.
The seats also have you sitting bolt upright and if you get one of the booth tables, you don't have very much room at all.
L. D.
The food here was delicious! Highly recommend the chorizo risotto and the Amalfi Bramble as a cocktail! Can see why it’s so popular in Belfast!
D. G.
This is the first time I've eaten in this restaurant since it moved to it's current location. The premises are bright and clean and the background music is at a level that allows undisturbed conversation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food itself was very good as was the service. I noticed that it was very busy which is an indication of its popularity and I myself would recommend this restaurant.
P. C.
Very friendly staff, neither exceptionally fast or slow however food was underwhelming and so rather overpriced. Fresh egg pasta was over cooked and under seasoned. Mushroom risotto lacked mushroom intensity and also under seasoned. Meatballs were dry though the tapenade were pleasant.
P. H.
Came here for lunch with two of my friends. Had only an hour to get lunch but that was more than enough time. The menu is great and the dish that I went for was lovely. The drinks menu is very good as well, I had an espresso martini and it was divine. The only downside is the size of the place as you can feel quite cramped in there.
S. S.
Delicious food and an amazing atmosphere, fancy place and will apways give a good feeling. Speed of service could be improved though. Nevertheless highly recommend!
P. M.
Really well done inside decor, food was perfect as well, make sure you book online in advance as it's always busy at dinner time.
L. B.
Went here yesterday to celebrate my birthday.
I have been to the Chubby Cherub before and loved it, however on this occasion I was very disappointed at the service provided.
Upon arrival, the staff were unable to find the dinner reservation made by my boyfriend - this took about 10/15 minutes to sort out.
Once we were seated we noticed that our server did not provide a Drinks Menu - when asked for one our server forgot and didn't approach us for another 25 minutes.
The meals were delicious and very tasty, however we asked for more drinks/water on three occasions to two different servers, each time they forgot about us/our drink orders which was very frustrating.
During our main course the sides we ordered didn't arrive with our dinner, we asked our server twice about the sides, after 20 minutes she informed us that there was a mistake in the kitchen and that we would have to wait on our sides (we just decided to cancel them as we had already finished our meal at this point) This was also very disappointing.
I can appreciate that the restaurant was busy and that staff were dealing with many customers/tables, however I really do feel very disappointed as it was a special occasion and the service was such a let down.
On a positive note the food was delicious and the interior of the restaurant looks beautiful. The restaurant was also very clean and clearly adhering to social distancing guidelines.
It's such a shame because I was such a big fan of this restaurant and constantly recommended it to friends and family but unfortunately I don't think I will be back.
I. R.
Enjoyed the place, but the pizzas weren't great.
The bases were flat and lifeless, the dough lacked any of the rise and taste you would normally associate with a wood fired pizza. So if like us if you are looking for something that resembles a classic Italian Neapolitan pizza, this would not be the place to go.
Service was pretty decent.
P. R.
Over the top décor and delicious food. Had a really nice dinner at this busy Italian.
O. O. B.
I could not recommend this restaurant highly enough! It was really cute, with loads of fairy lights and candles. The food was delicious and excellently presented. What really made it supurb was the service. The waitress we had was so warm and friendly. We left a 10% tip, and she pointed out there was service charge on the bill already. We said we were happy to still leave the tip and she insisted it was too much, which we thought was very good and honest of her. She ordered us a taxi as the weather was so wet and let us know when he arrived. All round a brilliant restaurant! Looking forward to going back. Thanks
N. C.
I was looking forward to trying the vegan roast squash tortellini, however the menu sadly no longer had this (and hadn’t been updated online). I wouldn’t have bothered visiting otherwise. Had to opt for the risotto instead which was tasteless. The place looks nice and the sour cherry fizz drink was nice but nothing special apart from that. Really disappointed.
N. D.
My mum brought me here one day as a treat. Instantly loved it. The smell from the kitchen was fantastic. That is a good sign of any good Italian restaurant. We came back three months later, and again a few months after that. I also brought my girlfriend of the time here a couple of months after my second visit. She is not easily impressed, but when the food came she absolutely loved it. One of my all time favourite places to eat Italian food in Belfast/Northern Ireland. Place is real cosy. It's fantastic what they have done with such a small location. Bravo
B. C.
Lovely food and great portions service excellent
A. J. P.
We made a reservation to have a romantic dinner with my girlfriend. We arrived perfectly on time and the place was quite busy, so they gave us a table just besides the bathroom door. We asked for another table and after 15 minutes they changed us. There was a delay of 40 minutes between the first and the main course. Mi risotto seafood was OK, but I have to say that it had not a great variety of seafood, only a couple of shrimps. Then we got an arbitrary charge of 10 % for service in the ticket. The overall experience was not really satisfactory to be honest.
T. M.
Tried this place during a short break in Belfast. After a disastrous meal at the Titanic Hotel the previous night we thought we should venture into town instead. So glad we did!
Had popped in late afternoon and checked out the menus, waitress was happy to show us them and said we'd be back later. Great staff and amazing food, the Goats Cheese starter was a perfect balance of flavour and texture! Also had to duck and pasta (can't remember the official menu description!)
The only negative I could find would be the background music was just a bit loud for a restaurant. Due to overwhelming positives everywhere else, though, still a well deserved five stars. Next time we are in Belfast we will be back!
D. J.
Food was great, the vegan mozzarella on the pizza was fantastic 👏 the only complaint I have is that they don't provide tap water for the table, and I'm not willing to pay £2.50 for a glass of filter water. Aside from that, all food was great and the cocktails we had were very nice!
D. M.
Great food and fantastic service as always! Didn't have a booking and was still able to get us in, despite being busy during the eat out to help out scheme. Just informed they needed the table back in an hour and a half which suited perfectly. 100% would recommend 👌
A.
Nice to be back out in the midst of things.
First time at TCC. Service was really slick!
We ended up at the smallest table outside which was slightly annoying and it wasn’t the most level but made the best of it.
Food was good.
Mushroom bruschetta full of flavour but on the small side.
Mussels starter was huge, bags of flavour and well cooked!
Mains was slightly disappointing.
Beef Rigatoni lacked flavour and felt one dimensional, the beef itself was melt in the mouth. Just needed a bit of s&p and something in the sauce to make it stand out.
Chorizo Risotto was again just missing a bit of seasoning and I felt like the chorizo had been thrown in at the end and could have been cooked with the rice to install all that flavour in from the start.
Dessert a bit lacklustre.
Cannoli was great.
Tiramisu needed a bit more cream, coffee and booze.
All in all a good visit. We will return!
C. A.
Great fun place, great atmosphere. Perfect Saturday night venue! Service is always great
R. S.
Post Covid review. The food was excellent. Staff were extremely friendly and service top notch. More importantly we felt safe in the premises. Majority of seating is in booths and the seats that are in the open have a large screen dividing you from the next table. Would recommend and will be back in the near future
P. C.
Good quick service. Main course was delicious (seafood risotto). Bit disappointed by caprese salad for starter; it tasted nice but felt like it was just thrown together and presentation wasn't very good. Would have been nice to have a basket of bread, as I would expect in Italy. Friendly staff.
E. M.
Food was outstanding. However, although I understand that it was busy, we felt slightly neglected compared to customers around us, who seemed to get more attention. Customers who arrived long after us got their meals first, and after asking for a dessert menu we were completely unattended, resulting in us asking for the bill. Overall a great experience spoiled by slow customer service
T. H.
Great restaurant, really fast service and staff are so sound. Nicest Tiramisu I’ve ever had. Great dinner options for vegetarians and vegans too!
L. G.
We sat down and we were not given menus. after a while the other waitress realized and gave us them. The pizza my boyfriend ordered was tasty but the gnocchi I ordered... 8 of them for 12.50£. Only good thing is that there's a Boojum close enough so when you finish your dinner there, you can fill up your stomach somewhere else...
Then, when we asked for the bill we were only given it after 10 minutes to then find out that we were being charged 2.60£ for the service... We gave them the money and the waitress didn't even bother to give the change back, assuming it was a very well deserved tip?????? Just unbelievable, not going back.
R. P.
Friendly atmosphere, lovely decor, amazing vegan food, great service and value. Highly recommended just forgot to order their pasta sauces to take home.
P. F.
Food service was quick, friendly but very limited for gluten free diets, risotto only dishes were GL but the Crab risotto was very nice. Priced average for city centre evening mealtime. Need to book as you could find yourself asked to keep to a single course to ensure table is free for bookings. Well worth a visit. Will go again.
S. M.
Did not have a booking but lovely Lady gave us a table immediately. We had a beautiful Italian meal, made freshly to order. The Bruchatta was the best I have ever tasted. Next time I will book a table to make sure we get to eat here again. Dublin Visitors.
K. S.
Fabulous, well worth a visit.
Lovely food, fab cocktails 🍸. Service excellent.
D. H.
Excellent meal! Shown quickly to our table and provided with a menu and wine list. The wine list was limited and the menu consists of a range of pizzas and some pasta dishes.
We ordered the Argentinian merlot, which was good value.
My friends ordered bruschetta which made me envious (& they made sure that I wished that I had ordered the same). For mains I had meatballs and linguine which was really tasty.
Service was prompt and friendly. Recommended.
C. M.
Was very busy and tables where running late but the staff where excellent, got us a drink and seated us as soon as they could. Food was excellent and great vegetarian options
A.
Lovely restaurant, great drinks selection. All the waitresses were very attentive, we will be back.
M. H.
Popped in in a whim (just visiting Belfast from Glasgow) because they had a pretty decent vegan menu. Place was packed, but they fit me in.
Ordered vegan neopolitan pizza. Not just the nicest vegan pizza I have ever had, but amongst the very best pizzas I have had fill stop! Also had an aperol spritz, which I have been craving since I went to Venice.
Staff friendly and efficient, price reasonable for such good quality.
Highly recommended!
S. D.
Atmosphere was good and staff were friendly. However the food was a let down.. meatball dish was very watery and the meatballs themselves were dry.. quite disappointed as we were expecting great food..
P. C.
Service wasn't great, or overly friendly from some staff. Food really wasn't great. My wife asked for feta cheese and got blue cheese. But we just thought the pizza tasted strange until we got the bill and realised.
Beautiful environment. Feels like you are in Naples / Amalfi. But the other aspects really brought the experience down, especially when considering the price of some of the meals!
t. k.
Food was beautiful. Athmosphere was great staff very friendly and efficient. Price was very reasonable.
G. E.
I will continue to go back to this place sporadically because of the food and general surroundings, which are gorgeous. But the service has been poor every time I've been. Booked a table in advance, waiting 20 mins for order to be taken even though a couple who arrived after got theirs taken before us. Then once order taken an additional 10-15 mins for our drinks to arrive? Put more floor staff on? Do better. Service is half the experience. Also service charge for two people is a bit much.

Oh my days and all things Italian
Bella Figura
This little slice of heaven is just a dream come true nestled in a concrete jungle
Gorgeous food it would please Gordon Ramsey himself
Your missing out if you don't give it a whirl xx
C. P.
Staff are lovely, friendly, helpful. The menu is great and the food was delicious! Great wine and the coffee was excellent! Will definitely be back!!!
B. S.
Seriously best place in Belfast and County Down to get pizza
A. G.
The best food in Belfast. Have order a number of items and all made my taste buds dance with delight.
S. O. C.
Food delicious and staff very friendly 😋
S. O.
Everything was amazing. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
F. P.
Excellent place! Great coctails! We visited Belfast for a meeting and we went there twice to eat😀 Service was great and food delicious! My only small comment was that i found the burger a little bit overcooked for my taste.. all and all highly recommended place
e.
Food was delish and service was excellent
A.
Great staff food above average
L.
Lovely food and staff! Had the Valentine's two course meal and it was great. A really beautiful place; perfect for couples. They include service charge on the bill so bring extra money!
K. o.
Excellent atmosphere, music, service, food. Vegetarian lunch option was perfect. Perfect. Wifi is good, it smells fantastic. Lunch with a drink for about 15 quid with a side. Decent and can't complain about 10% service charge. Well earned. Thanks to the staff their 😊
D. D.
Food was average, but I'm not a big Italian fan so this may be biased. The atmosphere would be nicer if the music was classic, Italian or something more authentic (raining men shouldn't be on anyone's playlist)
The restaurant was uncomfortably warm.
S. M.
A little gem of an Italian in Belfast city centre. 1st time I went there purely based on good reviews. Lived up to all the good things said - food was delicious and staff were friendly and decor is quaint. Best to reserve tables. Will go again!
M.
Excellent food and friendly service. A really nice new premises and excellent December menu at the moment packed with the usual Italian classics from the old restaurant menu with lots of vegan & vegetarian options available too. Highly recommend.
b.
Had seen this restaurant when walking through town and instantly wanted to try cause it was so pretty and it did not disappoint! Beautiful decor, great service and tasty food. They even had a full vegan menu with a range of starters like humous and tapenade crostini, a few main meals and a selection of pizza, and a dessert range including a chocolate fudge brownie! Would definitely recommend!
L. O.
Beautiful place food delicious staff amazing would be back again
J. C.
Beautiful Italian restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be back.
J. S.
Lovely place with really friendly staff. My girlfriend and I absolutely love it. Food is amazing as well and a great vegan menu.
L. M.
We had a beautiful meal here tonight in a beautiful restaurant as it was throughly recommended ...but... we had to ask 3 different members of staff for a drink while eating our main course and afterwards we had to ask twice for our bill. When the bill finally arrived we had to remind them that we already paid £10 deposit that wasn’t deducted....
A. E.
Great food, cool atmosphere. 24 carat gold soap dispenser in toilet with no soap! Staff were not the brightest. Would highly recommend 👌
J. S.
I am a simple man with a lovely wife. For her birthday I thought I would give her a night to remember - a night in the Chubby Cherub! We arrived to a lovely outdoor terrace, where we remained shielded from Belfast's cursed winter night.
As we entered the restaurant, we were hit with the sheer class of it all. I have been to many places, but the Cherub is one which stands above most as a treat for the eyes. I remember when I was a young lad my mother told us of Old Italy. She told us tales of exotic pasta dishes and fighting for olives in the fierce summer time. She conjured images of the citrusty groves in which her great grandfather had laid plans for the resistance.
When they brought our food out we couldn't help but say 'Oh wowzah' or something to that extent. I ordered a fine lasagne and my wife ordered a carbonara - a simple meal, but a useful barometer for the quality of the restaurant. We were enraptured by how delicious our food was. I have eaten many lasagnes and whilst my favourite has to be Barcelonas Restaurant BelleBon, the Cherub comes a close second.
I don't drink anymore so I was happy to see there was a wee 0% Peroni on offer (10/10 non-alcoholic beer btw). Upon ordering a second our waiter explained that that was their final bottle. This was fine, and I was happy to get a coke but he insisted on running across to AM:PM to grab a new 0% beer for me. I didn't get this gentleman's name, but he was the tallest person working that night. Whilst my writing style is sort of nonsensical, I genuinely mean this - really good service.
Chubby Cherub is blooming good. I plan on taking all my wives there.
J. J.
Cozy place with great atmosphere. Amazing service- got us a table without a booking. Herb Gnocchi- delicious.
C. B.
All I can say is that the diners in and out speaks for itself. Food is amazing
A. R.
They had very good Italian food, and they were right off Victoria Square in Belfast. We got mussels, some salmon pasta, veal and pasta, and panacotta. It was all very good. It's a pretty small restaurant though so make reservations.
N. D.
Lovely food! The meatball starter was amazing! Friendly staff and manager
E. M.
Lovely food however members of the staff seemed to be confused over simple questions on the menu and when it came to ordering dessert we had to ask several people about it just to find out that none of them had even put in our order. I will be back but hopefully with better service next time :)
P. J.
Hi, you asked for more info on why I gave a 3* review. No problem. My son ordered dough balls off the kids menu and received the same dish my wife and I got off the main menu, i.e with pesto tapanade etc. and salad leaves, no balsamic vinegar or cucumber/small tomatoes. When my wife asked staff member why his dish was not what was on the kids menu, we were told that's how they do it. Reading the menu, both dishes are clearly different. The pizzas when they arrived (wait was 40-ish mins) were somewhat overcooked, base was very crunchy. I hope that explains the rating. Of the staff we dealt with, have to say Seaneen stood out. She was excellent. Thanks
K. L.
Great service friendly staff, food was lovely and good portion sizes will definitely be back.
D. G.
Excellent pizza. Few issues with service but nothing major. Would recommend.
S. K.
Had Saturday lunch here. We had ceaser salad & lasagna, only £6.50 each. So reasonable for good l food. Salad was well proportioned & a full main course size. Lasagna was homemade but definitely over salted on this occasion. Would come back, deserts looked amazing.
M. K.
Staff are so helpful, nice, food unbelievable delicious serice 100%
r. t.
Me and the wife having been going here for years and every time we go the staff are excellent and the food is AMAZING 😁. Fav food place
C. W.
Nice place food decent. Service good. Discrepency with bill took couple of goes to sort but otherwise worth a visit
M. M.
Excellent restaurant. Delicious food and reasonably priced. Generous portions. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend
W. P.
Can not say I hated the place , the service was good ,but just very disappointed with the quality of food,
Had brushetta for starter ,not much flavour ,main course was mushroom risotto , very grainy . Sorry but you don't get my vote ,I have had better . O the atmosphere was ok and the service was good , maybe just look at the chef sorry 🙁😡😷
D. J. A.
The food was good but took a long time to come and it was so hard to get somebody’s attention to get the table cleaned for desserts and then there were no canollis left so we got macarons instead . Plus had to get out in a rush because the table’s needed... in the first place, it was not our fault we stayed so long...
M. M.
Nice food. Friendly staff. Great decor.
w.
great food and staff couldn't do enough well placed to the center and close to the waterfront
R. R.
Amazing little restaurant.
Had the garlic prawn bruschetta, meatballs and an ice cream dessert. All delicious. Very friendly staff also.
Only suggestion - the loo lid could do with a bit of a fixing so it stays in position.
R. B.
Food was just ok but the service was terrible. Quick to get the drinks out but 2h before we got our main which was just average 🤔
J. B.
Nice food and caring staff. The cocktails are to die for. Timing was a bit slow but understandable given how bust it was. Was charged service despite being a table of two which felt unnecessary
M. M.
Menu was limited okay if you like pizza. I had been before in the old resturent and I was disappointed this time. Also awful 80s music!! Need to get the Italian vibe going or even some soft romantic music. Service was good.
S. U.
Check that you get what you ordered. One of our party ordered meat lasagne but there was no meat in it. Although they agreed a vegetarian meal had been delivered we had to complain again to get a reduction in the bill. Rather spoilt the evening even though the food was good.
D. M.
Great evening!! All the food (for party of 5) and the service was amazing throughout. We got a couple of starters to share, which included a big bowl of mussels in a beautiful garlic / herb sauce, and fresh tasty breads with various dips. Then we got our main courses, which everyone really loved. This included chicken pastas, pizza etc. Lemon Posset and Tiramisu deserts were also beautiful, and beers, wine and Expresso Martini's also went down great. Various cost-saving deals during the days also on offer. Highly recommended and will certainly return.
C. J.
staff are so lovely and food is delicious
G. P.
Have been here several times. Menu is more limited than previously but the food is still excellent and the service is very good.
T. P.
👍Wonderful world of food 🍝🍕🍰
👍Super cocktails 🍸🥂
👍Nice environment 🇮🇹 💯😊
G. L.
Four of us for lunch with 3 taking the Xmas menu, all had a wonderful 3 course meal. 1st time in the new premise and loved it. We will definitely be back.
L. D.
We visited this gorgeous restaurant on a recent visit to Belfast and lived it in sight! It is beautifully decorated and the food was just delicious. Service was good and we would definitely go back!
L. M.
Food was incredible, such an amazing atmosphere and the customer service was superb! We had the most lovely waitress, will definitely be back!
m. w.
Lovely food & drink in old style ambience. Very helpful waiter. Won't find better pizza anywhere in Belfast! Booking a must as not very big.
C. S.
Beautiful interior, great choice of food and attentive staff
R. M.
Lovely decor and seating, diner's well spaced apart, food and service excellent, felt very safe.
J. M.
Lovely pasta great decor top spot!
M. S.
food very nice. service poor. still waiting to be asked if I want a dessert. had to ask for drinks and had to ask for deposit back. make sure they take the deposit off your bill!
B. C.
Amazing atmosphere and food. The service is also outstanding. The restaurant is small and reminds me more of a cafe... but it's very charming.
J. H.
45 mins waiting on our table to be ready ☹️ food was bland. Nice cocktails though.
M. C.
Fab little Italian. Starter of Prawn bruschetta and main course Lasagne were devine. My friend also had bruschetta followed by chicken Tagliatelle. Couldnt fault it. Staff were so lovely. The only reason I didnt give five stars was the desert was obviously not home baked and music a bit cheesie
S. L.
The food was very good and b nicely presented and prompt service. Staff were very helpful. I Would go again
A. Y.
Best food I have had for a while. Super friendly staff. Overall I enjoyed my meal and the time spent there.
T. B.
After order, waited for an hour for main course to come out. Granted it was busy, but did not expect to wait so long. While food was nice it wasn't anything special.
O. F.
Amazing night in the new establishment for my sisters birthday, place is stunning, pizzas are so good, staff are really lovely, even put a candle on my sisters Tiramisu and sang happy birthday, we will definitely be back!!
J. H.
I love this restaurant! It's small but very cosy, you feel like you're in an Italian piazza. The food is excellent, and seems authentic. Great for lunches and dinner.
C. B.
Amazing food and amazing service - got us a table without a booking and saved us from an awful experience at AMPM across the road!
D. M.
Food and staff was fantastic, highly recommend Mac and cheese pizza, who knew such thing existed
L. P.
Very accommodating and lovely staff, food was high quality and atmosphere of the venue was great
P. M.
Great restaurant. Excellent food, friendly efficient staff. Well worth the wait. Good hygiene - handsantizer at entrance.
N. K.
Beautiful Italian restaurant. Tremendous food with very polite and helpful staff. Would recommend.
c. g.
Waited 30 mins for order to be taken, but food was great
Z. C.
Food was quite nice and the service was great as well. The only drawback was that I felt that the food was a little bit pricey. Still a nice place to visit occasionally for a date etc.
A. K.
lovely atmosphere, great service, food was very tasty, gorgeous pizza and pasta was had!
J. M.
Absolutely amazing! The food is so good and really tasty. We love going here. It is small and intimate, lovely atmosphere.
U. Q.
Pizza was very nice, restaurant small, cozy, very warm. Staff friendly. I gave it 4 stars because it's pricey and you are left hungry if you split a pizza.
C. D.
We go here a couple of times a year. Great food and staff are super friendly.
The food is reasonably priced especially given the city centre location.

Food was good, service was a bit slow and we were going to the Opera House, so when food arrived after 30 minute wait we had to eat quickly. Lovely staff so we will know to allow more time next time.

Not really Italian and a bit too much carbs but lovely staff and nice atmosphere. The food is quite nice and the pizza is not heavy. Overall a positive experience

We called in Thursday evening after shopping without a reservation, they were very busy but still took us, we had a drink by the bar while they got a table for us but we didn't mind at all the bramble I had was well worth the wait, inside was stunning, you would not think you wer in Belfast its absolutely outstanding, lasagna and garlic bread was beautiful and my friend's vegan pizza she said it tasted like real cheese was amazing, staff wer fantastic you could tell they love working there
L. G.
Cosy, intimate restaurant with delicious Italian food. The chef is great and happy to accommodate any requests (one of our party asked to have no cheese on her pizza and it wasn't a problem!)
M. B.
Brilliant atmosphere! They have done a great job with the decor, the place looks awesome. Food and service and service are also great!

Delicious food very vegetarian friendly, nice beer and very nice wine, a tad pricey but worth the price as meals were so good, wait time longer than expected but staff were friendly and let us know this so all in all very reasonable would recommend.

Decided to try this little restaurant, it's very compact and bijou, has the feel of a trattoria , I had chorizo and pea risotto , a hearty bowl of it , a glass of vino and an Americano to finish all for £15 , the waitress was very attentive &pleasant , I certainly will be back.

Had an amazing night with the family for my daughters 21st, staff and food was absolutely fabulous. Will definitely recommend and will be coming back for more

Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Service was good considering it was a busy Friday night in December.

The food was lovely, but overpriced for what it was, a nice pizza. Spanish music being played was a little bit strange for an Italian restaurant.
L. E.
Had a lovely meal and staff couldn't do enough, made to feel very welcome would definitely recommend and be going back.

J. P.
Lovely restaurant and great service.
Food great and a wonderful cocktail list

Used to love this place, but it has changed since the move, food is mediocre and lunch menu lacks choice of pasta dishes..staff friendly enough but a little forgetful..wine was sharp and not nice at all...far too pricey for the food quality and to top it off wife's food arrived cold and she actually had a very bad tummy the rest of the day..there are far better places to eat at less cost..will we be back?.....No!

Delicious food. Great ambience

Fantastic spot and location, brilliantly decorated inside with a great atmosphere, the only bad side which cheapens the experience is that it's far to bright, especially with all the mirrors
M. D.
Lovely meal slightly spoiled by the service charge. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I think it should be my decision what I tip and not the restaurant
C. L.
