Nice staff. Good value for money. 3 pizzas, 2 chips and 4 freshly squeezed fruit juices (large sized) came to £40.90. my only complaint was that the pizza bases we're soggy and the toppings fell off. Unfoi it put my son off his pizza but it tasted nice. The fish option looked so good, shame I wasn't hungry! Relaxed and nice to eat in a non chain restaurant

The shop has a simple but clean design and friendly staff. Ordered the pizzas and was consumed by the fresh aroma, freshly made Italian pizza in a wood baked oven. Huge portion that can serve 2 people, only critique I have is that there is too much oil on the base which means the topping do slide off easily but overall the food was to a impeccable service

Very nice restaurant, staff seemed friendly. Food very good (we had the pasta). La Vera is a little off the main thoroughfare, but it appeared to be fairly popular. Curb appeal isn't brilliant, but the internal decoration is very tasteful. Most people were enjoying nice looking pizzas cooked right in view, so you know that it is done properly. 4 star hygiene rating (out of 5) on the door but I didn't see any reason to think there are any issues.

My husband and I ate at La Vera tonight and I must say it was delicious! The ample size of the pizzas alone make the trip worth while. We had a #4 and #13 pizza meal which came with a soda and a choice of a side of chips or salad and a nutella dessert. We went with the chips and a coke. The pizzas were amazing! The chips were seasoned with paprika which was perfectly done. Not too much but just right amount of seasoning. We left there stuffed and extremely happy with our meal. The restaurant was clean and neat. The way they served the cutlery was well done in an envelope which I thought a nice touch. I noticed some had the pasta and frankly that looked very yummy. Expect us again as we left there very happy and very very full! I can't wait to try the pasta next time!

A hit and miss, sometimes the toppings can be sloppy, falling off. This time everything was perfect! They prep and cook the pizza in less than 20 minutes. It's cheap too, a pizza, drink & chips for less than £10. One pizza meal deal is enough for two.

Don't be put off by the cheap decor and the odd menu. The pizza that comes out of that massive oven is very good. The pizza names and the ingredient combinations and choices can seem unusual (which is why I had a Margherita) but what you get is highly enjoyable. I also recommend their freshly squeezed fruit juices (i had the ACE) which are a brilliant offering. Service was acceptable: the staff could pay more attention to customers (such as not being on their phone while I'm waiting at the till) but provided a friendly service eventually and they put up with us being there for a good 3 hours.All the above for very sensible prices. I would come back.

Authentic Italian pizzeria with plenty of space and fair prices. The pizza is 13” so large portion with a thick fire wood crusted base. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I visit this place many times. But there was one incident, where they spilt a pizza. But I will chalk that down to inexperience, as the waitress was new. That mistake was quickly rectified by a kind employee, who offered a whole pizza, despite the fact only one slice fell. My favourite pizza in Birmingham. I regularly visit here! The flavour is fantastic and the pizza is always perfectly cooked. I don't know why there are negative reviews, I've been going for well over a year and love it every time. There's also a loyalty card which helps (despite the meal being a very reasonable price)! I've forced all my friends to try it too. Can't recommend enough!

Great food every time... am not normally a fan of chips but the chips here are cooked perfectly and seasoned deliciously. roast chicken is to die for and the pizzas are amongst the best I've had anywhere. servers are an absolute pleasure and keep customer service in mind on each visit. Love this place for a good size pizza which is bigger than the shape of your head. Decently priced, lots of flavours, suitable for vegetarians ans vegans too. Only downfall is that you can only pay by cash, in this day and age, most restaurants should have chip and pin or a method where you can pay with your smartphone.

An amazing pizza place with most helpful and kind customer service. We felt very welcome, had amazing food. The pizzas are comparable to the highly popular Italian chains, and they are as good if not even better! We had chips and they were nice too, the salad bar is a nice addition for your 5-a-day. As a dessert we had the Nutella calzone - even though we were too full, we took it home and my gosh it was a guilty pleasure! Fantastic little place, never eaten the pasta but I must say the pizza is fab, all prepared fresh easy to see as it's all done in plain view. I must say that I had walked past several times and assumed it was just another cheap takeout place because of the decor. Other than the poor kurb appeal and maybe some slight roughness inside it is fantastic. For the price you really can't fault it, it is the best pizza for the price in Birmingham.

Excellent wood fired pizza joint. Pizzas cook in about 3 minutes. Eat in is more fast food type seating but acceptable, but it's all about the pizza. Relatively small menu so easy to chose quickly. Delivery also now available through Uber Eats / Deliveroo so good lunchtime work option as well.

Very good value, Portion sizes were large and base was good, toppings were soggy, but for around £5 a pizza I can't really complain. There were a couple of things I was suprised about. There was no table service, pizzas were ordered at the counter despite there being enough staff to cater for it, they had a member of staff outside giving away free samples. Also a 50p (10%) card charge seemed extremely steep, and its something i expect to see in a corner shop not a restaurant.
