First time order, couldn't be happier. Ordered a 4 cheese pizza and the tiramisu. Expect a thin crust, rather than the usual sourdough for your pizza in England. Personally my favourite. Surprisingly from me though, the 5 start review comes from the "classic tiramisu, following an old family recipe". I was making a joke as to how this was gonna be an industrial piece of chemical dessert and it would be disappointing. I could have not been more wrong. It was "simple", exactly as it should be, yet amazing. I could keep going on just about those 2 dishes, but the best I can say is I'll try more items from that restaurant. My expectations are very high now though. Thank you guys, you definitely made my day.

Food was very very nice. But the service was terrible. Took 30mins before we could even order drinks. Took a further 30mins for drinks and a further 30mins for starters. Then mains didn't arrive until an hour after starters. Many others were also complaining and some even got up and left.

Food was pretty good! Very convenient location. Calzone was lacking in flavour but the seafood was lovely. Staff were fantastic and always had a smile. A little pricey but you won't break the bank here. The menu is huge so be prepared to sift through it. Overall it was a nice experience but nothing to write home about.

Ordered the two course during lunch time for about 10 quids, the food came rather quickly, however I didn't find it worth the price as the quality of food lack effort to make it better. The fettuccini ragu as alright but not as flavourful as I would expect. Service is about average. Could have nicer napkins I suppose.

Refreshingly quiet atmosphere, able to hold a conversation gently, no need to raise your voice to be heard. The olives were incredible. The carbonara was delicious, creamy, fair quantity of meat in it. The Montepulciano red wine was astounding. Staff were fast, friendly, and attentive, as well as passionate about Italy. The loos left a little to be desired, as it's currently only one shared by male and female, but that isn't enough to knock the overall down from 5 star.

Had a very pleasant lunch today with a group of friends. The service was very good even though they were quite busy. We ordered from the set price menu. We had 2 courses for £9.25 plus 10% service. I asked for a main course size portion of mussels which they were happy to do even though it wasn't on the menu. I had Tirimisu for desert which was lovely. I will definitely go back again .

We found this restaurant quite randomly as we were looking for a nice quiet place to have a pizza dinner... and everything was super! Firstly, the staff was very attentive and whenever we needed something, they were already there with a solution. As for the food, we ordered a pizza, small tapas board and a tiramisu. All the portions were big so it was plenty for the two of us. But the most satisfying was the freshness and quality of all the dishes - one of the best dining experiences I have had recently. Prices were very reasonable as well. Highly recommend!

First visit, but unlikely to be our last. Dining with friends visiting town. It's a cosy restaurant, with a very much family run feel. Food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. We ended up being the last table to leave, but never felt under pressure to get out. Looks a little run down. Tables were wobbly. Staff didn't expect a lot of guests today so they had run out of a few menu items. However, i ordered a tomato baked salmon with gnocchi which tasted surprisingly good. Even if it might not look like it, give the food a try.

Arrived New Years Eve with no reservation, Staff very welcoming but the place was packed, nonetheless they managed to find a table for my wife and I. The food was absolutely superb, I used to be a regular visitor to Italy and I've not had Italian food this good since I was last in Firenze. Service was friendly and excellent without being intrusive. The bill was very reasonable too, I'd not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

I have visited this restaurant several times and the food and service is exceptional. Last time I had garlic king prawns and then halibut with a pistachio crust. It was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to go back. I took a few girlfriends there and they can't stop talking about the amazing food either.

Calamari for starters was lovely couldn't fault it, the half pint shell on prawns was just not worth having by the time you have peeled the shell, they should have been king prawns but at least we know for next time. Pasta dish was dry and only a small amount of sauce and meat,soup was good and i would recommend the grilled vegetable pizza,that was the best.

However, when ordering we told the waiter what food we wanted and asked for it to be tweaked a little, like adding chicken to the pasta an tomatoes to the garlic and cheese pizza bread. Absolutely no problem for them to organise this for us. Reason for only 3 stars is nothing to do with the food. We rang to book using our Gourmet Card, again no problem. But.... when ordering drinks we ordered a bottle of the house red wine and a glass of house rosè for our friend. The wine that came was a bottle of Cabernet sauvignon brought by another waitress. We were impressed by the fact that the house wine was Cabernet sauvignon and were told that the rosè was pinot grigio rosè, that is until we got the bill. The "house red" turned out to be £19,.50 per bottle and the rosè £6.76 a glass ( our friend had 2 glasses!) We did notice while waiting for the bill that the couple on the next table had red wine served in a carafe which we then assumed was actually the house wine!. Thought it was a bit naughty of the waiter to give us a very expensive wine when we'd asked for house wine. The whole bill came to £59 after discount from using the Gourmet Card but the cost of the wine and a bottle of water was almost £10 more than the cost of the 2 course meal for 3 peopl! I must say that the waiter knew exactly what he was doing in giving us the wrong wine but if the restaurant accepts Gourmet cards people should be allowed to choose drinks of their choice. Needless to say we didn't leave a tip which we felt bad about as the food and service was excellent

Originally we were going to go to Ask which is nearby but settled on this restaurant as it is handier for Bournemouth train station and now we are glad we did as our meal was lovely. Before our starters we were left with breadsticks which was certainly different. I was also surprised that despite the long wine list the waiter couldn’t tell me if they had any cider!. It wasn’t long before our starters arrived. We both had bruschetta and they were both delicious. I had Salmon bruschetta and the smell off the salmon was enough proof that it was really strong flavoured and I loved every bite!. For main meal I had cannelloni and it was also delicious and mum had spinach ravioli and she said it was one of the best pastas she has ever had. Finally for desert I had a lovely crepe with mascarpone and raspberry. Easily the best crepe I’ve ever had!. Throughout the meal the waiter service was great. The manager came over to ask how our meal was and once he knew we weren’t local we got chatting away!. Once we got the bill we also noticed that our meal was half the price of Frankie & Bennies and so much nicer too!.

Great little Italian Trattoria in the heart of Bournemouth. If arriving in Bournemouth by train it's the perfect stop if you're headed to/from the beach. Great, traditional menu (tortino di sarde, pasta alla norma, etc) and wines from all over Italy. Service was charming and warm. Homemade pastas (as opposed to store-bought) and more attentive service (just once I want to find a place where I don't always have to pour my own wine) would make this place an absolute must-visit but it's still a great place to go if you want a hearty bowl of pasta after a relaxing day on the beach.

Really great meal . Fantastic minestrone soup however should be served with grissini sticks and not dried ciabatta . The pizza 🍕 was amazing though for a Tonno pizza with tuna and red onion and to die for . Friendly staff and left after a shot of limoncello. Pleasantly surprised 😯 Will definitely be going back 🤩🤩
