Reviews of The Bournemouth Stable
M. L.
The Stable in Bournemouth is located just by the gardens, in a very nice part of the Town. Getting a table by the window you can have a nice view over the main road. About the food, I can say that I was satisfied with the pizza that I ordered. I was actually positively surprised that it wasn't a bad pizza as many others I've seen around and as a sourdough pizza was actually very tasty. The place was not very clean and I didn't like the local cider that I've got, but in general I can consider my experience at the Stable pretty positive!
M. O.
Very delicious and cozy place to eat some great pizza. We ordered The Blazing Saddle pizza and it was one of the best pizza I have ever eat. Nearly Naked Tater Tots was also so delicious. We came here two days in a row :) very pleased.
Lastly, staff was very friendly and our orders came very quickly.
S. R.
Very nice pizza place in the centre of town, quick service with no wait, staff are quick to look after you as well. would recommend the still ciders over the sparkling ones. Nice prices too.

Popped in yesterday for a family late Sunday afternoon
not overly busy , nice staff and good service.
Menu was good but missing some favs like the pot of gold and some pizza dishes since Stables got bought out. But overall a good visit and value for money - Thanks Stables !
S. G.
Very friendly service and some unusual pizza mixes together with some good ciders. The Sandford Orchards Devon Red in particular. Gluten-free options on the pizzas helps for many including me! PS the chocolate brownie looked outstanding!
I. V.
I really like that they have the Cornish larger Korev and pizza was nice. The tomato base was delicious and the pizza dough was great which makes pizza good and than you can top it up with anything and it will taste delicious. Service was very good, nice and friendly staff.
M. P.
Lovely spot for drinks and food, venue has nice inside and outdoor seating. We sat outside in the sun and had delicious pizzas and drinks - definitely recommend 👍🏼
R. L.
Gorgeous spot for lunch overlooking Bournemouth Gardens. Service was great despite it being a busy lunchtime and we hadn't pre-booked. Nice to sit outside away from the road and felt like we were on holiday despite being locals!
The pizza was fresh and tasted amazing. The menu had a great selection for different dietary needs.
Easy wheelchair access. It was a little tight outside to maneuver my wheelchair but it was do-able and would have been even easier if we'd decided to sit indoors.

I visiting yesterday evening with family, we were seated upstairs, the lady who was taking orders and managing the bar was lovely, she could not do enough. Very friendly and great service. We had young kids with us and made us feel at ease.
She is doing a great job, her communication and her friendly personality made our visit a pleasurable one.
Food was lovely fresh, we all enjoyed our visit..
Thank you
E. W.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing prices! 💯 Our waiter was helpful and polite, as well as knowledgeable about the menu. The manger who also managed to find us a seat inside despite us not having a booking (as we were unable to book because of the volume of bookings in the first place) was a very appreciated touch. Food was hot, tasty, arrived quickly, and portion sizes certainly above average. Both food and drink orders were taken quickly, and again, both food and drinks arrived quickly. Plates were cleared quickly and the callback service during the meal was good. Dessert was fresh and tasty along with the mains, and to top it off the bill was very reasonable coming in at under £40 for two people. Decor and the general theme of the whole restaurant was very nice and the atmosphere was upbeat and lively too. Would certainly recommend this place and if we are ever back in Bournemouth we wouldn't hesitate to visit again!

Lovely evening at the Stable's tasty pizza and friendly staff who were short of staff. Unfortunately my Husband walked in to one of the Glass doors that lead to the outside eating area,he did not see the door so maybe it should have a poster on the door so customers can see the door. He had not been drinking we had Coke's we would like to say big thank you to all the staff for helping my husband.he is fine now.will be back one day for a pizza when on Holiday again.
M.
Wonderful experience. We were able to be seated outside on a busy night when the restaurant was fully booked. The staff were very friendly and upbeat despite seeming like a very stressful evening. The menu was very good, with a wide range of options catering for many different dietary requirements and allergens. We ordered gluten free pizzas which were amazing quality. The food was delicious and the ordering and payment method was fast and efficient. You have the option to order and pay on your phone and the food is delivered to your table. Would definitely return.
L. J.
By far the best gluten free pizza we have ever had!! I had the Mushroom Magic and my daughter had the Hawaii 5-0. They came on a special gf sheet so you knew they were safe and the pizza cutters were even a different colour. We also had the Tata tots which were gf and totally delicious! Could not fault the place. I over heard a waitress discussing gf with another customer who had ordered a pizza which panko chicken, she explained that this wasn't gf as the chicken coating contained gluten, really knowledgeable and friendly and the price was more than reasonable! We were visiting whilst on holiday and at an 8 hour drive we wouldn't be able to return but the waitress told us they have another restaurant in Birmingham 🙌🙌
A. K.
Wish they had more menu choices given the size of the restaurant. And also mocktail options instead of just soft drinks and no sugar elderflower drink. Otherwise the size of the pizza is very big. The Cajun chicken and aubergine pizzas are really good as well their Mac and cheese. Centrally located in the town centre where the bus stops are nearby.
H. M.
We really enjoyed this place and went back two days in a row on our trip (it was THAT good). We tried their flight of ciders and all of them were very enjoyable. We liked the mango and bee sting the most. :)
J. M.
This place serves my two favourite things! Pizza and cider. This time, we managed to enjoy both. I had a glass of a locally produced "Wild Cat", and my partner enjoyed a glass of "Rhubarb and Vanilla" flavoured cider.
For the food option, we both agreed on a sourdough pizza entitled, "Burger on the dance floor".
Everything about this restaurant was amazing! The service was great. We were looked after without it being too intrusive, or left feeling ignored. The pizza was cooked to perfection with lots of delicious stringy cheese and cheeseburger meat, and we enjoy our ciders so this might seem a tad biased, but even they were delicious.
We only wish we had a branch of this restaurant closer to home.
D. Z.
A convenient setting, clean, light and airy, great pizza, prompt service and good prices. We will be back.
D. C. C. D.
We decided to go last-minute and do not regret! The food was fast and great, the service excellent. Amazing selection of local beers and ciders. Definitely going back!
R.
This is a great place to eat of you're in Bournemouth - a central location, great pizzas, friendly service. It was really busy when we went, but the staff were good-humoured and really on top of everything.
Well worth trying out.
L.
The pizza was really good. It was very fresh and flavorful. We came when it was busy but they were luckily able to accommodate us without a reservation. If we are ever in Bournemouth again we will definitely come back for the pizzas!
O. W.
Came here twice, first time very good. Second time good too. Unbeatable pizza and service..
Sadly. Ruinned by the fact the cider was warm.. how unfortunate for a place that does local cider and pizza... The waiter excuse was "it came in a box"
You can keep stuff in a box cold! The hell?
L. H.
Really cool venue, nice food and staff, and fair prices. Highly recommended!
A. L.
Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Pizza was excellent. Would definitely recommend the cider tasting board! Overall, a great evening.
A. W.
A quick dinner. Staff friendly, but seemed busy as our drinks sat ready to be served for a good 10 mins.
No carbonated water available.
Food was good .Nice atmosphere
S. S.
great selection of Ciders, heavenly dough, the sauce and pizza ingredients could be done with a little more taste and love but the cherry on the cake were the staff, despite how short staffed (Brexit + lockdown) and while the whole of Bournemouth would not take an extra table of two without a booking, the floor manager welcomed us with kindness and a smile, and the lady who took care of our table was genuinely nice, well done to you all for being such a lovely team.
Oh, and the interior was so inviting and natural with tones of wood and large plants around
J. W.
Great, helpful staff, swift service from the kitchen with a very tasty pizza that was a really good meal. Recommend the Lilleys Mango cider: sweet, fruity, drink it without realising its alcoholic
j. R.
A brilliant evening! We got the cider tasting board which was really interesting, some great ciders in there. The pizza's are unbelievable omg, and the vegan options are fantastic too. Special shootout to Arthur who provided us with some top notch service! All the other staff were really lovely too
L. R.
Central location. Nice atmosphere. Yummy pizza
T. C.
Easily the best pizza I’ve ever had. Good drinks and excellent service
R. L.
Visited here with the family (including 2 kids under 4). Very good food of which I would strongly recommend the Jerk pizza. Hot with bags of flavour.
The wait for food was longer than expected but the superb customer service made up for it.
Great cider choice available.
I would definitely visit again if in the area
J. G.
Great food. Great atmosphere and lovely cider. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend
G. D.
Really lovely outdoor area, which was ideal for the current indoor-outdoor-with a mask-no mask guidance 😂
Staff were REALLY friendly and welcoming with kids, super attentive and took time taking orders
The food was great, we just had quick bite of a pizza and some potato wedges and a few beers and water
Price-wise was really reasonable
Inside also the set up was good for Covid with the right level of space, sanitizer etc
Overall was really good, I hope these guys get support to stay around as it’s a great location and a nice vibe in there for everyone of all ages
M. S.
Nice food, nice place. Great selection of ciders.
Excellent pizza. Thin and crispy
D. B.
It's very good artisan pizza,
although service was extremely slow considering how empty the place was when we visited my 5 star rating if for the food only. Service 1 star
A. T.
Great dining experience. Reasonably priced for the quality of homemade pizza with a variety of not-so-boring toppings - thin, crispy and full of flavour. The upstairs sitting area is wonderful with a beautiful view of the Lower Gardens. Great choice of interesting ciders too - I had the raspberry sider on tap which was just lovely for a hot summer day - crisp and refreshing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again
K. D.
The food was lovely. I had the long John pizza, my son had the chicken sriracha. I like them both but the sriracha tasted better. The cider was lovely. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. If ever I visit Bournemouth again I would dine here.
K. S.
Amazing pizza!
We ordered 2 hazelnutters here and some fruity ciders (blackcurrant and rhubarb ciders) and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Massive thanks to our waitress who was really attentive and helpful when choosing our ciders and pizzas.
J. M.
We had our Christmas do at this venue,
The stable is a place that serves good food and has a big selection of cider.
The place has been decorated nicely and looks trendy and on point.
There is upstairs seating and an island bar for grabbing drinks. Toilets are located upstairs, with a disabled toilet down stairs. I did not see any lifts for upstairs seating, however there is plenty if seating downstairs.
The venue has a great atmosphere and is designed to a high standard.
In terms of food, these guys are renowned for their great pizza and pies. They didnt dissappoint on that front.
All in all it was a great experience, and i would recommend you try it out. 👍
J. W.
Superb! Delicious sourdough pizza and we arrived in a panic late to a show and the staff were superb, rushed out order through with no questions asked so we made it. Thanks guys!!!!
A. F.
Visited this superb local pizza restaurant for lunch , the staff were amazing very knowledgeable about the menu, my youngest is Gluten and Dairy Free, the Gluten Free pizza was superb and had a lovely crust and dairy free cheese was tasty - we had a very happy 8yr old. The normal pizzas were also superb, great crust and super thin with lovely toppings that made each bite scrumptious. The manager Hannah was really friendly and helpful and has a amazing team. If feels like a local family run restaurant. Overall A++ keep up the amazing work
s. m.
Really good pizza and great they have gluten free. Pot of gold is delicious, good way of trying new cider.
Mixed toilets was a surprise though.
S. B.
We went for the first time here on Saturday 29th Feb. At 3pm because 7bone was packed and there was a 45 minute wait. The restaurant was not busy at all, and basically only serve pizza. This is fine, but a bit more choice would have been expected, when you walk in. We ordered for two adults and two children, 3 pizzas. I thought the turnaround would be relatively quick, as there were only a hand full of customers. One hour later, just as we were about to leave the pizzas arrived. I will say, the pizzas were really good, but the kitchen staff were chatting quite a bit I noticed, because of the wait. This place could be so much better, but the staff seemed lethargic, and almost uninterested. Given that a restaurant just one minute away was heaving, the management should pass a look at what 7 bone are doing, and replicate! Sorry guys - for a town centre gig, this is not good enough.
Z. E.
Food is amazing! The wedges, pizza and chocolate Brownie were all delicious. Slightly let down by sub par service but this could be because they are so busy with "eat out to help out", service at normal times may be better.
A. S.
Lovely pizza and cider. Very friendly service from Heather. Highly recommended. Take a seat outside and watch some squirrels while sipping one if 10 different ciders they serve.
A. M.
Consistently good food. Local ingredients and a great selection of craft beers and ciders.
J. P.
Lovely pizza served on a nice thin crust. Offers plenty of vegan options, unlike most restaurants where you only get the choice of one item on the menu. Really good option if you want a cheap meal on a Tuesday. The service is really nice and speedy. The surroundings are very pleasant. Recommend sitting outside if it is a nice day. The dessert was the best part. We had the brownie with the vanilla ice cream (also vegan) which had so many sweet succulent flavours.
C. J.
Good atmosphere, busy and lively when we were there. Very nice waitress who managed the orders of our large party well. Kitchen mixed up one order but sorted it immediately. Pizzas were fine, menu is fairly limited. Great for families.
T. M.
We had dinner here and were delighted by what we experienced. Atmosphere and ambience is great, feels very high end whilst still maintaining a casual vibe. Staff are incredibly friendly, food was great and a good amount of choice on the menu. Will be back when I next visit Bournemouth!
M. W.
Delicious extra thin crust pizza, we had the posh Hawaiian with no pineapple. Insane list if ciders which I know nothing about but they are more than happy to recommend.
l. l.
The food was very nice, they have a great selection of ciders, Lilleys Bee Sting is my favourite. However, the service was very slow and was wating ages for a drink even though the place wasn't that busy. The staff were very friendly and great with sorting out the gluten free options.
H. C.
Food was amazing! Cider tasting board was fun and staff were lovely!
I. G.
The pizzas are incredible, all handmade and have a great choice of toppings, with vegan/gluten free options available.
The choice of drinks is great too, with lots of yummy ciders to choose from.
K. D.
Great food and decent service. Lots of options avaliable for all and reasonable cost
L. B.
A fantastic place to get some food if you're a fan of good pub grub and cider. I've been to this place a few times now (on work dos and other events) and the quality of food and service in this place is spectacular. This place is also in close proximity to the lower gardens near the town centre, so if it's fairly sunny and you've got a cider (or two) and some food in your belly, there's not many better ways to spend an afternoon!
If you're fairly new to cider tasting, I definitely recommend the cider tasting board for £8.50 (at time of writing). You get five 2/3-pints of different ciders that can range in strength, colour and flavour, and you're then able to order a pint of whatever one(s) you like. I also recommend the pizzas as well.
I will warn you though that the prices aren't especially cheap there (a pizza and a pint of cider can set you back around £15 to £20 depending on what you get), but the food is definitely worth what you spend.
J. F.
Brilliant place to eat if you need gluten free for coeliac and dog friendly too they even brought over water bowls for my two westies while we eat a very nice gf pizza.
D. S.
Great casual restaurant in a great part of Bournemouth near the park. The food is excellent, and there is a very wide variety of ciders and other drinks. Great place to go to eat and unwind.
D. W.
Great, rather experimental pizza. Great offer of ciders. Menu slightly confusing (same pizza with different name on two kinds of menus). Great starters too.
R. M.
Love the cider tasting trays here - pizzas great quality as usual. The Blazing Saddle the best of the lot.
J. W.
Wandered in whilst looking for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon.
Really nice place, plenty of space inside and out, we sat outside.
Standard track and trace check-in at the door, you order via their website from a QR code on the table (there's free WiFi if needed) and all staff that I saw were wearing masks.
Delicious, though slightly crazy, katsu curry pizza with a really nice half a Haywards farm Cider all in glorious sunshine.
Was so nice we almost didn't make it back to work 😉
J. K.
Good covid compliance, had a delicious vegan bacon salad. Menu is a good mix of meals to suit all sizes and styles of appetite. Highlights are the clean, casual decor; cider/beer selection and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
A. D.
Always great, need to have a few more ale choices though as only one was available on draft today but they had 3 lagers.
B. F.
Great Pizza and cider! Really nice and friendly staff. Dog friendly which is a bonus!
T. H.
Good choice of menu, felt that the food could have been hotter, but clean and friendly.
G. G.
Absolutely loved it, no hanging about, service was great and food was excellent
D.
The 2 margherita pizzas that i ordered were great, the problem is the waiting time was, ughhh 55 minutes.
And downside, they have no proper soft drinks, only pepsi diet.
Again massive reason for me not to choose it next time.
C. B.
Went for a meal as a family and all were really impressed with the delicious food and the efficient service that we recieved. Highly recommend!
c. m.
A nice chilled evening, food hot and tasty.
M. K.
Delicious pizza (Blazing saddle), and tasty mango cider :) (could be nice to try sparkling mango :))
We'll definitely come back during our next Bournemouth trips
B. T.
Love the approach and spirit of this place. Service is 5 stars and the pizza is good too :-)
C. B.
Excellent food, good value, great staff
B. E.
A nice surprice. Good selection of fine ciders and very good pizza
S. B.
The food was amazing, a lot of unusual options which, also a lot vegan pizzas!! 😍 The atmosphere is lovely and if you go on a Sunday you’ll be practically alone soo very cosy and romantic haha 10/10 would recommend 😊
s. m.
Lovely place to eat, delicious pizzas. Indoor and outdoor seating.
B. L.
Staff were extremely friendly and efficient and so helpful. Garlic pizza and cheese is a must! Had the beef pie and was delicious so much better than the pie shop. Would prefer mash and gravy to wedges and salad tho - bring old skool
D. H.
Very nice pizzas the staff are friendly and it's nice and tidy went there with my partner's she like it unfortunately it is a little bit expensive
K. R.
Restaurant got us booked in same day as a larger family group. Service was good, pizzas tasted great, light bases.
The menu is a little limited, pizza and a few salads.
Good place for a simple pizza and a few drinks where you can eat indoors on two floors or outside too.
g. h.
Had a delicious meal at the Bournemouth Stable! Great atmosphere, quick table service, reasonably priced and serves the best pizza I've ever had.
100% recommend. Especially "the blazing saddle" pizza!
L. C.
Lovely atmosphere, nice staff, but seemed disorganised. They brought food up from the kitchen and weren't sure which table had ordered it. We asked various people for the weight of different items of food (I'm diabetic and carb count) and half of them actually came back. The lovely food and the atmosphere saved the day. I would definitely go back to a Stables restaurant but I'm not sure about this one.
D. C.
Had one of the best meals here last week, went for the "Bournemouth Blaster" pizza which, with its naga chilli was very hot... perfect! Great live music, wonderful food, massive selection of drinks and friendly staff. Will definitely return and recommend
K. C.
Had a great time at the Stable. The atmosphere/décor was very modern but casual. Our waitress was amazing and took the time to help me decide on a cider by providing a selection of samples. Lastly our pizza's were hot and the toppings were delicious (I highly recommend the mushroom magic). The one thing keeping this review from being 5 stars is the amount of crust on the pizza. Everyone I was with agreed that the width of the crust was too high and could have been reduced by at least a third. The other possible solution is to provide a dipping sauce (like honey ) to accompany the crust so that customers aren't just chewing on large pieces of dry bread at the end of their slice. However, this is a small critique in an otherwise excellent experience. Keep up the good work!
P. W.
The pizzas are very different sourdough based. I had a pizza with steak pieces called Holy Cow and my partner had a spicy pulled beef one. Both about £14 each. Really enjoyed them. The lager was called Freedom and was absolutely lovely, crisp not gassy. The service very good. Recommended.
P.
Full flavoured pizzas 🍕 to be enjoyed on the decking outside that faces the lower gardens of Bournemouth 🌴🌲🌳
C. B.
Recently stayed in Bournemouth for the weekend and came in here after recommendation. The atmosphere and feel for the place is great, all feels light, vibrant and fresh. Sampled a few of the drinks and they were beautiful. All the staff were very friendly. Would definitely come back if I was visiting Bournemouth again!
R. H.
Great food & friendly staff. Seating at the back is extra nice
A.
One of the best pizzas I've had. They have loads of options for all types of foodies at a really reasonable price.......... I cant wait to go back.
J. A.
Tasty pizzas, good service - we'll visit again.
J. S.
Excellent pizza.. Beer and cider on tap.. Great setting..
A. M.
Nice restaurant with a good choice of pie, pizza and vegan food. If you like a spicy pizza then try the Bournemouth Blaster. Good for couples and groups.
C. M.
Good, lovely pies full of flavour. The pickle on the side is a nice touch. Can get busy though on weekends so maybe call ahead! Lovely bar to sit in ahead of time though
T.
Best restaurant pizza we've ever had and that includes a gluten free one for the wife, which was far larger and edible than she's used to! Excellent service and beer. Couldn't fault it.
j. n.
OMG! Definitely a stop to plan. Had lunch here, and was just yum!
Go for the local cider samples, not too much, just right! 😁
L. H.
Great food, need to go back and try ALL the pizzas. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.
K. L.
Best sourdough pizza ever, made even more special with Glastonbury mozzarella... 😋 Then there's the choice of still and sparkling ciders... Staff are lovely too! Would wholeheartedly recommend far and wide!
J.
Very tasty pizza's & Mac n Cheese.
A. S.
Pizza and cheesy garlic bread was amazing!
F. C.
The team are super friendly and welcoming. Cant wait to return and try more of the small brewer ciders. The tasting options are great value at only £10. Would love to see more non alcoholic options to drink that aren't ridiculously over priced as most outlets are. Food is good quality, and love the crispy base pizzas.
S. C.
Gluten free yes, well done & thank you
A. A.
The taste of food was great and the staff were polite . I am Muslim, so they gave me advice about the appropriate meat for me
S. S.
Good tasty food albeit the day we came we had to wait a very long time for the food to finally arrive
r. L.
Brilliant service and amazing gluten free pizza!
a. c.
Love it and that they've kept bee sting the best drink! Bring back the pies though!
s. k.
Great pizza, good selection of beers and ciders, really good service. Nice casual dining experience, nothing too fancy but ideal place to go to away from (and a level above) the usual generic chain restaurants.
G. D.
Nice pizza, lovely salad, pleasant team.
D. C.
Great service, delicious pizza, friendly dog and really nice staff. We will be back 🤩
B. G.
Really really nice pizzas. 100% recommended this place.
l. r.
Brilliant food, great vegan selection. Really good selection of beer and cider too. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend
N. A.
Was curious about the ciders. The staff were very nice and helpful. They gave us a few tasters to help use select what we liked. The place is very nice, will be back to try the food.
R. T. R.
We had a late night dinner and wine here last weekend as part of our anniversary weekend getaway.
We've just rocked up without a reservatio. Luckily we were provided with a cozy table upstairs. We had very enjoyable salds and a bottle of French Sauvignon Blanc.
We had a great time. Ambience was great. Lots of cute little details in furniture and built.
Good music.
Very friendly staff and attentive too.
Defintely a recommendation.
M. J.
Best meal we have had anywhere for a while.
Great food, service and a lovely atmosphere.
Simple menu well priced. Recommend a visit.
D. W.
Great food good service good selection of drinks good location near bus stops and taxi rank
J. W.
Good pizza and excellent cider selection.
M. B.
Decent food, great selection of drinks! And a really really good cheesecake (picture)!
J. P.
Vibrant, cheerful, great choice of pizza good service. Mine was recommended by a lovely young lady who happened to be working in the kitchen. Spot on.
L. S.
Very tasty pizza, I ate a vegan one and it was the best vegan pizza I have ever ate! Cosy place with nice people, and perfect food
S.
Amazing service here from Marta. Give that woman a promotion already! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and we had all the food and drinks we were after really quickly and they were all high quality too.
S. (.
Pizza was absolutely amazing hard to choose what to have great menu, great cider lovley atmosphere highly recommend.
S. M.
Love the Stable and this is probably the best one.
S. S.
what can i say except wow. This place was amazing, the atmosphere, the location, the staff, the food has us practically drooling. Specialising in Pizza and Cider this place is the one! the pizza are to die for we even went back to get a take away for our drive home. This place was honestly one of a kind. The staff where so helpful with cider suggestions. The puddings again were amazing and we had to find a little room to fit one in as we didn't want to miss out. If you are in Bournemouth book this place and go !
M. A.
The stable became our favourite go-to place during our 5 day visit to the area. We visited twice; despite the limited menu, the pizzas were absolutely delicious, the Hawaiian was our favourite. The house salad is also refreshing and so good, that we ordered it twice on our first visit. Normally I don’t like ciders but the Stable changed my mind with their Perry and Rapscallion. It’s also dog friendly, the staff were quick to give him water and were very sweet and patient with my dog. Overall would happily return to the Stable.
K. B.
Excellent own label IPA.
M. C.
After arriving in Bournemouth, my wife and I decided to try the Stable for lunch. The staff were polite and friendly, getting us seats outside quickly. The garlic pizza bread with mozarella was lovely, and our pizzas were also really nice, with light, flavoursome bases and lots of toppings. Would heartily recommend!
J. C.
Excellent pizza, very VERY good cider (try the Bee Sting, but you won't be able to drive afterwards!), and all round good service (if not the fastest).

Delicious Italian style thin crust pizzas. Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff who were able to fit us in with no reservation even though it was very busy. Really nice ambience and atmosphere too. Was driving so couldn't try the ciders, will definitely be back. Its homegrown businesses like this that give Bournemouth its spark and identity. They deserve your support!
S. W.
Amazing pizza, pies looked good too, speedy and knowledgeable staff. Great Vegan selection and accommodating to specific dietary requests.
Although it was relatively quiet at the time of this Visit, our previous visit was really busy and took us well over an hour to get our food. So be careful of when you go.
Overall though a great experience.
E. R.
Beer and service was tip top but the pizza left a lot to be desired. Really basic dough with fairly poor quality toppings. Could have done a better job at home to be honest.
K. B.
Delicious pizza. Cider selection is pretty good too. Quick service and waitresses were lovely and friendly.
A. V. H.
Apparently they are all over the country, but this is the first one that we'd been to. Have to say I will be hunting more of them out. Managed to satisfy all 3 of our boys, which is not always easy as well as my vegan wife. Great pizza, great building, warm and friendly staff and a good price. We went the wrong day if we had gone the day before there were some really good deals to be had, so be sure to check on line.
C. S.
Menu isn't big but what they do, they do very well. The restaurant was lovely, we was sat upstairs by the window which was nice. Service was polite and attentive. If pizza and cider is your thing this is the place for you!
K. S.
Had an absolutely lovely meal out tonight, everything was cooked to perfection and had 3 courses in the space of 2 hours, really good service and the restaurant was so clean and lovely. Very nice friendly staff!
A.
You can always rely on the stable to serve superb quality food and outstanding drinks at good value for your money. Sometimes you might not get a table but you just gotta get in early, first come first serve unless you can get a reservation. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful during the day when you watch the world go by while teasing your taste buds through a variety of ciders and craft beers. Great for the whole family. 10/10
Y. S. C.
Delicious, super delicious pizza! Friendly staffs!
S. A.
Visited for the free vegan pizza, was not disappointed! Despite being a large queue, we were kept entertained by the staff and a musician playing acoustic guitar outside. Was seated on a large bench style table. Service was quick with drinks, a little slower for the pizza but who can criticise them under the demand. Most importantly, the vegan pizza was delicious! About 5 or so different options, a couple which are spicy, I enjoyed the Nutcracker, with hazelnuts, an unexpectedly awesome pizza topping! Will visit again.
A. F.
Nice pizzas in a relaxed atmosphere. Not expensive and a reasonable selection of beer and cider
Z. T.
Delicious food, super friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend The Stable.
S. T.
We went to the winter wonderland with our granddaughter and went to the stable after . The pizza was probably one of the best we'd ever eaten really nice
P. B.
Great tasting pizza, very well baked, friendly and attentive staff!
d.
Pizza was delicious, staff were wonderful. Would recommend the Flight of Fancy , a nice selection of ciders to try whilst tucking into a pizza.
S. W.
So far this place has been soo very friendly, trying the cider there which is always different as it is selected by the staff which are trained in the local ciders of Dorset. Front of house is excellent.
L. T.
Nice clean place lovely friendly staff and amazing pizzas 🍕
K. G.
Visited the stable for a family dinner. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the cider, they were able to help us select from the large choice easily.
Food was tasty, especially the Pot of Gold, really with I could get my hands on that recipe.
The only downside I would say is that we were a table of 8 and the table we were on felt a little crowded. It probably would have been fine for 6 but we were all rubbing elbows, difficult to manoeuvre, especially when pizzas are quite large.
Other than that everything was great, have been before and will definitely go again
Edit to add: changed review from 4* to 5* after attending cider awards event.
The staff are so knowledgeable about the ciders they have on sale. Ross was a fountain of information and really helped us to understand how the drinks we tasted were the finalists in the cider awards. We learnt the stories of how The Stable supports these small local companies gain custom across the UK. It's evident how much care goes into their selection.
I. W.
This is a place that you just have to visit if you like pizza and the like! The speciality on the drinks front in cider! There is seating out front and around the back and plenty of space inside.
The staff are really friendly and very helpful with a good knowledge of their drinks and only too ready to help you with your choice. We didn’t eat here (will do that next time!) but the food we saw was nicely presented, smelled good and we will certainly give it a try next time!
Toilets are modern, well maintained and very clean.
D. B.
Pizza was great, won't recommend the potatoes wedges, nice location, we parked at the pavilion and walked as its a 4 min walk.
Not much to chose from the menu really but if you want pizza its definitely a good place.
H. E.
Fantastic selection of ciders, the food was delicious, really nice authentic pizza. We sat outside overlooking Bournemouth gardens in the sun, I've always looked at the place but never taken the time to go in and I'm really glad I did. I really liked the interior, they also have mixed gender toilets which was different but actually a pretty cool idea. I've already recommended friends.
J. F.
The menu looks really good with some interesting pizza options. Sadly, the pizzas were okay but somehow a bit underwhelming. The desserts were good though. The service is a bit too relaxed and overly familiar - I don't really appreciate receiving my food with the comment "Okay pickles, here's your food". Sure, they are friendly and mean well but comments like that and more just do not seem professional.
N. R.
Lovely pizza, great gluten free base. Service was excellence.
Please bring back the avocado on the Hawaiian pizza
C. M.
Food and service great, good range of pizza's and enjoyed the cider taster stick
L. H.
Great variety of cider, ideal for cider lovers. Food is amazing. Have had varied waiting times each time we've been. the last time we had been there for 2 hours and only had 2 of our courses. Manager was good and did give us a round of drinks for free for the inconvenience.
l. r.
Decent pizzas, extremely friendly staff who were really accommodating when we were looking for food quite late on a Sunday eve
J. P.
Really enjoy this place. Great place for food and drinks especially for local ciders. Menu is a little bit limited. Pizzas are good but only 3 pies on the menu and they don't do chips. The staff are really friendly. Nice atmosphere and good to relax and take in the views. This establishment has good facilities and they are unisex.
m. r.
Lovely pizza, good service. Not too busy as it was a Wednesday night. Good selection of ciders too!
c. g.
Such a great building and atmosphere was chilled. Service was very good but the pizza was rather thin and and crumbly, the base was less of a bread and more of a pastry. The playlist that was on was sick as well, good choice of music.
P. B. A.
Fantastic environment and great food. I'm not a keen cider drinker but I love the fact they have an option to have tasters of all that's on offer. The pizza was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. Definitely a place I will revisit very soon
T. P.
A really friendly atmosphere with helpful staff. I had a king prawn pizza and it is by far the best pizza I've had in a restaurant. The cider selection is fantastic and me and the mrs had a decent meal with sides and drinks for under £40. Fantastic!
C. J.
Best Cider and Pizza place in Bournemouth! Endless cider choices which are always changing, fresh local delicious food and great service....what more could you want. Also the building is fantastic with 2 floors and a panoramic view overlooking the gardens and town centre. What a great venue. highly recommend!
D. C.
Went for a Saturday lunch, the guy on the door was brilliant and very professional, got the menu and ordered a Pinot Grigio blush plus pizza. Drinks came , I was given a Pinot Grigio white, when I said I ordered blush. The waitress said we don’t have the blush ( maybe thought I wouldn’t have noticed) so I said I would have the french Rosa . All fine.
Meal came which was very good food, served by very disinterested waiter, not given any cutlery, such is a shame as the food was very good. Then the bill came to which the two glasses of wine on the menu were £7.00 a glass. But on our bill we’re £8.00 a glass. When we challenged the waitress she said the prices have gone up. But haven’t got round to changing the menu. I think that is false representation. She did then change the bill.
I. H.
Stumbled across the Bournemouth Stable on a day out with my family. Great service and frankly, the best pizzas we've ever had. Luckily they had a lunchtime special on, any pizza and a pint of any cider, beer or soft drink for a tenner. Marverlous! They're also dog friendly. Will return.
S. A.
We had an outstanding meal for 2 here! 3 starters 2 mains and 2 desserts topped off with about 20 drinks hahaha. Tried the cider paddle thing which allowed me to sample loads of different flavour ciders all of which tasted epic. The service we received was amazing and we couldn't thank the staff enough!
D. B.
Last minute decesion, we were welcomed and found a table
P. W.
Not bad place, pizza was ok, nice to see the use of quite local ingredients and mighy tasty they were too.
J. L.
Have been a few times now and always been impressed with the food. This time we used the app to order from our table, which was great though we had a long gap between starter and main arriving. Also recommend the cider tasting board.
S. D.
Just had a drink as wasn't hungry, the coffee was just okay they need to get a bit better quality as it tasted like filter which isn't as strong. Having seen the pies and pizza our eyes grew larger as they looked fantastic! Will definitely come back for lunch. Has a nice outdoor bit overlooking the gardens, very relaxing.
M. I.
Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely ambience.
I can't fault this place.
Nice central location, open to all age groups in the day (That's when I visited), vast choice on the menu for all dietary requirements.
Fast, friendly service but in no way does the speed of food delivery from ordering to the table reflect quality of food.
Can t fault delicious food and variety of drinks.
Highly recommended. 5 stars all round.
S. D.
1 of the best places to eat in Bournemouth with a good selection of pizza's and a great selection of ciders. Great atmosphere and the staff are always very welcoming.
J. N.
I had the chicken asparagus salad which was really good, although a little too spicy for me. we had the Hawaiian pizza but it wasn't very good - not enough toppings and the pizza base was really below average. Maybe the pies are better than the pizzas. Ambience and service were good though.
Z. T.
Wish I could rate this higher. Went today with my best friend on the last day of the Eat Out scheme and both service and food was impeccable. Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten and friendly chatty service. Distance kept and felt very safe all things considered. Amazing restaurant.
A. T.
Except the incident where I got to wear a full pint of beer, this place is great. Really good selection of beers and cider. Friendly staff. Pizzas are definitely the best in Bournemouth. Price is reasonable for the quality. My daughter still claims the brownie is the best she's ever had.
K. W.
The food was OK. Not much choice on the menu and they ran out of draft beer. Not very impressed. But the bar staff were friendly and helpful enough so not all is lost. A few more menu choices other than pizza and pie, and this would be much better.
J. S.
I hate pizza but what they do is delicious 🥰
i recommend the chef Alex the best ✅👏
P. H.
The Stable has some of the best vegan pizzas in town. The range of ciders is also excellent. If you're feeling adventurous, make sure you get a cider flight! Great customer service is always provided and it makes for a thoroughly enjoyable meal!
P. O.
Fantastic food, it was quiet when I visited late on a Sunday evening, we were shown straight to a table and offered drinks.
The food arrived very quickly and was the usual delicious high quality fare, no complaints there at all. Unfortunately after the food was served the device dropped off a little, we had to get the servers attention to request desert menus and to pay our bill at the end of the night. There were lots of staff around and I guess they were busy getting ready to close up for the night but we didn't even get a goodbye when we left.
I have been here before on a number of occasions as the service has always been great so prepared to put it down as a one off. Would still recommend as a cheap and tasty place to eat in the heart of Bournemouth.
E. B.
Tuesday evening - great value, £10 for a pizza, side salad and half a pint of your choice.
T. S.
Excellent service and pizzas that are a cut above the likes of big chains such as Franco Manca etc.
Also specialising in craft cider which is a welcome change from ale and lager.
Great food, good service and nice location. Great lunch or dinner idea.
Give the roast lamb pizza a go, genuinely brilliant idea.
J. F.
Lovely staff. Lovely pizzas. Lovely cider. Accommodating to your needs. Vegan options so would like to see organic meat on the menu.
J. C.
Delightful place, lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere.
R. M.
Great place, amazing food! Staff were so friendly, attentive and helpful. Cider selection was brilliant. We ordered through the app and got a 20% discount as well, the staff were still eager to help and give advice on the choices of cider. Would highly recommend!
L. B.
Was a nice meal, was very busy and we had to ask to place food order and they got two meals wrong, but understaffed and bank holiday monday evening, so once the food arrived it was good. It was a better place before lockdown and I hope they csn get back to that standard. I will still go there 😊
L. H.
Fantastic food (mainly salads, hearty pies or rustic pizzas), specialises in ciders over fifty different types on offer and they change their stock based on local hobby brewers etc. The service was prompt and they were very friendly, helpful and easy going. Good knowledge of their products. Views over the lower gardens, very nice at sunset. Would definitely go there again.
S. W.
A bit disappointed with Stables. Lovely location but menu change not so good. No pies or wedges and less Vegan pizzas. Shame as I used to love this place
T. G.
Friendly enough, cutlery blunt and food not that special to justify the prices. Music way too loud with too much base
Toilets are just wierd
B. G.
Excellent experience with personable staff. If you like onion bhaji then the Queen of India Salad will be for you.
B. B.
Greta range of ciders - and the staff knew a lot about their products. A nice English wine selection which is unusual but so worth trying! Staff were happy and helpful - so nice to see genuine smiles! Can recommend, will come again.
D. C.
Excellent menu here, a little unusual but great. The food, atmosphere and service are all excellent. They have some interesting beers on tap too. It's a relaxed place, good value, great value and well located in the centre of Bournemouth
B. P.
Nice pizza and good selection of cider. Clean and tidy and a novel idea. Menu a little limited, would have been nice to have a bit more choice.
P. J.
The biggest asset this place has is the staff (the location is pretty good too!) They are simply so friendly. My regret was, when doing their survey on a tablet, the sun was so bright I couldn't see the picture of the staff on the screen. So I'm sorry I didn't recognise the two people who seated / served us.
F. M. S.
A fantastically fresh range of food with a wide variety of flavours, there is something for everyone! Whether you're in to cider or beers there is a wonderful range of both from local breweries all around the South. Highly recommended and great staff with a lovely warm atmosphere. Try it out!
L. R.
Great food and service but the best thing is the atmosphere, especially at night. A must visit.
l. g.
Lovely place, was just walking past looking for something to eat, and I’m so glad I was drawn to this place. The pizza was the best I’ve had and the service was fantastic, I would definitely recommend.
R. A.
Really nice restaurant, my girlfriend, I and two friends ate there at about 7:30pm, it was reasonably busy yet the service was great and the food was out in a timely manner. The only issue was that the music was a little loud, but besides that it was great. Good food, warm, and upbeat atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again!
H. L.
Our waiter was very good. However the waitress who seated us said we could use 1 A-List card for 50% off food for our whole table of 4. After ordering and eating we were informed that this discount only applied to one person. The manager and waitress who made the mistake were not helpful or apologetic. This made the situation very awkward as we expected some kind of compensation. Eventually after some discussion we were offered a free drink each. We won’t be in a rush to return.
O. D.
Looks like a nice place to sit, food not bad however my salad was disappointing, too much cabbage and the most expensive on the menu. The worst thing was toilets, they are joined. I witnessed a guy using toilet with his door open and children entering and looking at it. He was drunk and miserable. I felt sorry for little girls having to watch it. I told member of staff. Gross...
S. W.
Just been to The Stable with my wife. Really lovely place, really nice people and great food. We had the vegan pizza, and it was delicious. Definitely be going back again soon.
Highly recommended.
No relation to Sam Waters, that's just a coincidence. Hi, Sam.
A.
Nice friendly staff, seating upstairs well spaced out, nice food & drink, reasonably priced.
J. B.
Yummy inventive pizzas and lots of different cider on offer. Spacious and casual setting with top notch customer service and attentiveness. Indoor and outdoor seating available with high chairs for infants.
k. G.
Was there after dropping off my youngest daughter to the University, the food was excellent despite us all turning up at 10pm when they were about to close, they must have realised that we're out of towners, dropping off our child. The pizza was excellent and when I have to go back to collect her will go back but this time earlier.
A. B.
Good food, lovely place, good staff. Went here with a large group with prebooked food orders, the food came out very quickly once they started serving and there was no unexpected delay on the serving.
The food was delicious and just the right amount.
M. M.
Superb place. Very inviting staff and price with government help was absolutely superb. 4 🍻 of beer and 2 large pizza £26.00 wow. I do recommend the place.
J. K.
Wow food very good. The building is amazing lots of light. They have outside seating front and rear. The rear outside seating is overlooking the park. Service is very quick and reasonible priced. Would eat there again.
L. A.
Casual place, very busy when we went so had to sit in a corner, wanted to sit upstairs where there are lovely views. Menu is really varied including a vegan menu which was amazing to have the option of vegan cheese! Prices are reasonable too and service was quite quick. Would recommend
R. M.
The waiter was extraordinary nice. We loved him. Same for the pizza... you can easily tell that everything is fresh and high quality
T. I.
Lovely place, super nice food and friendly, helpful staff without doubt will go again
L. H.
The three of us went there on the free vegan pizza night , I was expecting to be rushed but no , we where shown to our table where a lovely waitress called Gabriella served us . she was wonderful and nothing was too much intact all the staff were amazing with big smiles and a professional attitude . I've been here once before but did not notice then how great this place is with amazing food and great atmosphere.
C. B.
OK if you wanted pizza! Pizza was good except everything had sauce squeezed over like a dessert has a coulis!!
L.
What can I say, left the brass haus this eve due to bad service and being ignored, but never can we fault the stable!!
Chris!! Legend, helped us choose the perfect cider and will also return! Never had a bad experience here, ideal place to come for a date or a family dinner!!
Thank you Chris!! 💚
C. W.
I went for the seconded time today and like the first time I really enjoyed it! The staff are friendly and the food is really good quality! I'm already looking forward to going back again! Also I didn't find it to be overpriced considering the quality and the location. 5 stars!
I. G. (.
They have an amazing selection of cider and beer and the pizza is nice too! They do gluten free pizza bases for all their range although they were a little tough the last time I went.
K. R.
This place is great for Bournemouth, as its hard to find somewhere decent!! All fresh ingredients in the food, but the staff need to be a little more on the ball. Dont like having to go and get my own drinks off the bar when they re chatting!!
C. B.
Good food but benches don't really work for disabled. Some chairs would be helpful. Because we were a big group ordering took a while and drinks seemed to come in a bit of a haphazard way. All in a good spirit though :).
T. W.
Great food, great staff, great drinks! Felt a little rushed is why the 4 stars, not 5.
J.
Fresh, delicious, tasty pizza. Nice atmosphere, contemporary, very friendly staff. Ticks all the boxes
T. M.
We had an amazing time at The Stable Bournemouth on the Saturday of the air show. The staff were brilliant, they knew their menu, could make recommendations and were so friendly. Considering that everywhere was busy that day the food was quick but we were not rushed at all. Would highly recommend!
S. T.
Great cider and food!!!
Edit - returned for our second visit and had some of the best pizza I have ever eaten, and if course great cider. Where is the 6th star to award!
R. H.
Good pizza (not the best but above average), great location and the service was good. can be a little chilly if sat on a table in line with the door in winter. Would definitely go back. Interia is interesting and a cross between industrial and not finished, but looks good.
S. A.
Nice pizza. Service a little slow but all the staff were excellent
S. W.
An amazing range of local ciders, about 10 plus 1 or 2 guest ones. Each cider has a good description, and the staff are happy for you to taste before buying. You can also buy a mix of six different ciders in smaller glasses if you fancy tasting the range! They also do a range if gins. We didn't eat here but saw some very good looking pizzas and pies which they specialise in here so a nice and straightforward menu, no fuss. At busy times you can just go for a drink but may not be given an outdoor seat (terrace out back has great views across Bournemouth town and park). Reasonably priced and very friendly staff makes this a must do. We will go back again for sure.
R. J.
Lovely pizza and friendly staff
C. D.
came on free vegan pizza night:
Wow thank you The Stable, Bournemouth - I am an avid meat eater and hate vegetables so could never even be a vegetarian let alone vegan - I had the Blazing Jack pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Please add it to the menu permanently!
Great night, thanks again :D
K. M.
Only giving 3 stars due to the service, the food was very tasty, Well presented and the place has a nice atmosphere.
We were 4 adults with 4 kids and the staff seemed a little frazzled when we asked for a table, even though there was 5 large tables vacant when we arrived. We were asked to wait on the side and after about 15mins I asked again if we could be seated as I could see empty tables and immediately I was taken to a table that was free since the last 15mins! We ordered, the waitress wasn't up to scratch with her own menu, we had to remind her that the kids meal came with ice cream. They forgot potato wedges when all the food arrived so that had to be ordered again. Another waitress came to light a candle right next to the kids so we asked politely for no candle fire (kids + lit candles don't mix)..finally the bill arrived with the wrong total, twice. All in all its a nice place with great food and good vibe, I have no idea what is going on with the staff/service considering it's not a cheap place to dine. Some improvements pending Stable!
D. T.
Great pizza with very slow and poor service. Unable to order a 2nd drink when the food arrived. The wait for the bill was more than 15 minutes while being completely unable to find any waitstaff to bring the bill. The food really was good, but the service was a deal breaker.
R. G.
Can't fault it, food was great.
K. S.
Spent a lot of money on a very delicious pizza but was left extremely hungry, it was tiny! Great selection of ciders but also quite expensive. The views over Bournemouth gardens are very pleasant
E. M.
Pizza delicious and great variety of ciders. If you are a pizza and cider lover then I would highly recommend this restaurant. Staff very friendly and service was quick.
G. A.
Beautifull place, there is table outside you can enjoy sun. Nice and friendly staff. If you like cider take it cider tasting board 5 different ciders from dry to sweet. They also have large selection of beer. Great expierance.
V. D.
I loved going in this restaurant. My friend and I had a wonderful time in there. The food was delicious. Thank you. 😊
D. J.
Great place, lovely locally sourced ingredients and lots of good choices (making it hard to choose). Looking forward to bringing friends back here when they visit. Didn't get) as quite expensive and the acoustics made it quite noisy. I did like the decor however, it suited the venue.
O. G.
Cranberries in a chocolate torte? No. What an abomination.
I. L.
Some banging food with an excellent selection of booze to accompany it!
E. G.
Excellent location.
I visited twice. Beers are ok.
Pizzas looks good on the menu and when you order one lucky to have it if they don't forget. Staff kind but inexperienced.
D. B.
I've been a big fan of The Stable for a few years (since their Weymouth restaurant opened). As expected the food was full of flavour and the service was very friendly. The only small issues is the draft from the front door which affects some tables on a cold day, and there was no 'Bee Sting' cider (but that's a non-issue with the rest of the cider selection).
D. C.
Sit down meals - best pizza in city love it
a.
Great pizza, friendly service and we had a great view of the gardens as we were sat outside
T. B.
Cracking pizza, cracking cider. What's more to say!n
T. W.
Great design with some good outdoor seating and nice, friendly staff. Interesting drinks menu with lots of choice. Food is excellent and everything is very well priced - altogether a great experience.
H. W.
We love the Stable on Poole Quay so thought we would try the newer branch in Bournemouth. Our first experience was ok, it was back in the summer of 2016. We were told they could squeeze us in before a later booking but we had to be quick. We shared the table with a family and felt we had to rush our pizzas. We visited again tonight at around 6.15pm on a Sunday. We were quickly greated at the door by a waitress who asked if we had a booking (I have tried to book a table for the Poole quay branch in the past and have always been told they don't take bookings for smaller groups/couples) When I said we didn't have a booking we were told that they had no space until 8.30pm. Half the tables were empty and there were only two of us. We were sent away and they lost our custom. I would understand if they were full or if we had a large party. We will go to the Poole quay branch in future as the food is great and an amazing selection of ciders. When a company scales up unfortunately sometimes the customer service is lost.
N. W.
Lovely service, great pizza and a good selection of cider.
G. B.
Nice pizza restaurant, attentive friendly staff not overly expensive.
L. W.
Good food but lacking atmosphere. Excellent vegan and vegetarian options. To get the 20% discount you have to order using the app not the waitress!
T. R.
Great place for a pizza or pie and cider... 😁👍
V. J.
Amazing staff, delicious food, gorgeous cider. Definitely worth a visit again and again
J. B.
The stable has become my local and being new to Bournemouth I can assure anyone reading this the food is fantastic, the staff are incredibly warming friendly and cannot do enough to make sure your happy. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and definitely my happy place in Bournemouth Town. If you love cider good food in good company you can not do better than the stable Bournemouth.
H. M.
Good pizza and cocktails
H. T.
Very good. Quick service.
R. S.
Really great pizzas. Excellent choices. Good and interesting vegan options available. Generous size pizzas. My starter was not so special. Otherwise brilliant.
j. w.
Really nice, welcoming and omg the vegan pizza was stringy and absolutely amazing taste. Best vegan pizza ever. I could go all the time and not get bored.
B. C.
Very Friendly Staff, Amazing Food and Ice Cold Cider!
Great for lunch or a bite in the evening! Really cosy and rustic style inside and just an awesome place to kick back chill and create good vibes!
J. T.
The stable has a lovely range of ciders ... some are very interesting. Loved the tasting experience. The pizzas are great too. Will try again.
K. F.
Delicious pizza
Friendly staff
Food took about 40 minutes to get to table.
p.
Little disappointed. Wanted to try the pies but only had a small selection of pizza to choose from on the menu. Food was okay nothing to write home about.
C. P.
Very professional service and lovely staff. The food was on time and warm and tasted like a piece of heaven.
D. O.
This is my second visit to a Stables. The one in Poole is quite nice, warm and welcoming. The Bournemouth one is much bigger but just as friendly. Food is great, cider is great (I'm told by my cidery friends) and the Ale is pretty good too, though selection is limited.
D. S.
Staff didnt really know what they were doing. Messed up my beer order and forgot our friends Bday brownie. Descent food but a little small for the price. Once they get their staff sorted it should be a fine place.
E. W.
Fabulous tasty food. OMG, the pie and the chutney were divine, but the Sizzles pizza is to die for. Washed down with the Cider taster selection.....we WILL be back
C. L.
Really good customer service and food, however the wine really let me down. Ordered a Malbec red wine (one of the most expensive bottle) and it tasted off. Plus dirty, wet and no matching glasses (it was a Tuesday, imagine on a busy Saturday). Please do review your wine list, sure you can do better!
G. R.
Great cider selection and decent pizza price if you go for lunch. I know it's supposed to be a cider place but would like to see a few more beers still
B. B. H.
I went to try there vegan pizza and wasn't disappointed.
even though I only managed to eat the garlic starter pizza, it was delicious and the service was good and food promptly delivered. Would definitely eat again!
C. D.
The best pizza pies and don't forget the ciders. The staff are willing to help and suggest a cider or two. Would more star if I could. Still the best place in Bournemouth
P. M.
Great pizzas. Really enjoyed the cider tasting board, too.
M. C.
A great atmosphere and very good food! Service a tad slow on meet/greet and taking order but from then on in staff friendly and funny and food of good quality well presented and good price! Lagers great! Would definitely go again!
M. M.
Great location. Lots of food available on the menu. There is also a vegan menu for vegetarians. Food is cooked fresh daily. Is located close to the beach and many activities in the surrounding area.
R. R.
Amazing food, great staff and atmosphere. Awesome ciders
P. W.
Just had an absolutely amazing lunch wrap in the sun with a pint of Rapscallion.
G. Y.
Pizza and cider choice not as good as it used to be, and noisy. Plus side good service.

Pizza here is amazing and great value for how tasty it is. The bar however is ludicrously priced! Almost £10 for a g&t and rum&coke! Not doubles!
G. L.
Great pizza, excellent cider range. Bar staff know all their products and give good advice on what you'd like.
B. W.
Very pleasant ambience, excellent attentive staff, top quality ale and pizza.

Good food, good stable handlers, lack of spicy food or chilli 🌶 but they gave me chilli sprinkles to make up for it.. The menu is not always clear but very enjoyable to read. Overall one of my favourite places in Bournemouth Central
K. C.
Our server, Josh was amazing tonight x
R. H.
Great selection of ciders, staff friendly and relaxed surroundings with outdoor seating.
E. G.

Trendy, busy pizza place with good drinks menu and lots of cider. The pizza list looked a bit odd at first but try something different here and you'll be glad you did.
H.
Food nice. We went for lunch and the service was very quick as was the food. Good lunchtime deals and the sweet pizza was epic :)
S. G.
No wait (23-dec evening), nice interior, great pizza, friendly staff. The only downside was a loud group of teenagers close by, which was obviously acceptable by the restaurant, but didn't allow to talk really.
J. J.
Awesome wildfire Pizza and great selection of cider. Very good food should have been coming here sooner.
D. W.
If you by chance find yourself in Bournemouth check this place out. If they cant seat you right away they either take your phone number so you can continue shopping or grab a drink in the bar. Dog friendly, kid friendly too.
K. N.
Delicious wood fire pizza at your palms.
D. B.
Great use of the building which was the tourist centre. Well laid out with good options on the menu. Our issue was the chairs, or their lack off. Ended up quite painful on the back.
N.
Amazing pizza and cider. Great service and fair prices. Def one of my favourite places to eat.
D. G.
I normally love going to stables and in the main I did enjoy most of the evening. But the ciders from the tap tasted a little off and the food was very good but the quantity is on the small side.
H. V.
Great selection of ciders, pizza is decent and the atmosphere is pleasant. Staff all very polite.
L. D.
Really nice venue with a great pie and their cider board is a really nice way to try a few different ciders. However you will almost certainly need to book in advance.
J. C.
Nice place, Chris was very helpful ( really nice, engaging young chap). Enjoyed a couple of ciders at the Stable

Food was ok, nicely presented and they allow you to try a shot of the ciders before you choose do you don't waste a whole pint if you don't like it

Solid food, great customer service. I was asked to move to fit a larger group and without a pause for breath was offered a complimentary Beer. Win win for each party.

Nice staff ok food not great lover of fast quick service as food generally is not up to scratch although it was ok . Prices a bit heavy for a fast food eatery imo
S. G.
Loved the sharing board and selection of beer tasting board!! What a great idea and nice environment to stop at after a lovely day shopping 😎
S.
It's okay, but I struggled to find something on the menu after 15 minutes so left. Expensive pizza's but a wide selection of alcohol.

Great food and atmosphere. Nice to sit outside in the summer. One minor suggestion would be to offer mash with the pies as an alternative to wedges...

Food was fantastic and the mulled cider was lovely, but there was limited interest in making sure drinks were topped up which was a shame.
