We popped in on Sunday 6th Feb at about 4pm. Polite staff and very clean restaurant. We had a mojito cocktail, bottle of red wine, 2 starters and 2 mains. All in £63. Monika was our waitress and she was very very good. The food was hot and delicious. The restaurant had a constant stream of delivery drivers collecting orders as well as customers coming to eat in and at no stage was there any sign of panic or a drop in the level of service. Thank you Monica it was lovely.

Finding parking in the area is a challenge, but nice zone with lots of options. We had lunch here. Very nice selection of pastas and pizzas. For my fellow Americans, they have pepperoni ! 😆 Both mine and my wife’s meals were outstanding! Service was great as well. Highly recommend! Sorry about the photo of finished meal.

Lovely food and great atmosphere. Good vegetarian options. Very good prices if you order from the set menu. Unfortunately ran out of the chocolate brownie, but managed to get a swap for chocolate ice cream, which made up for it. Our waiter Katie was great, funny and helpful. Making the whole experience a great last day! Would highly recommend coming here.

Haven't been to Bella Italia for years but definitely going back. There was quite a lot of things not on the menu because it was changing shortly but what they had was lovely. My husband has spicy chicken pasta that as the menu said had a kick just the right level of kick. Our son had children's pizza with pepperoni which he enjoyed. I had the oven baked salmon which was cooked well with crispy skin and the bean casserole it sat on was really tasty. It was busy but the staff were attentive.

Came here on Brighton Marathon weekend, so was very busy. Our waitress Fiona was very friendly and efficient, even though she was dealing with another table of about 20 people. She even pulled out a tub of Ben & Jerry's ice-cream for the kids, which wasn't on the menu. Food was really nice and a great atmosphere. Will definitely make another visit when in Brighton.

Amazing service. Katie made us feel welcome and was extremely patient with our ASD daughter who couldn't choose a table, then wanting a super plain tomato and cheese without any of the basil/oregano. Not only did Katie find us a great table in a cozy corner, she made sure the pizza was done the way our daughter liked it. We would definitely return again. Went here a couple of weeks ago when visiting Brighton was a fantastic experience we were served by Ella and Mani who were brilliant, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. One of the best Italian restaurants in Brighton. Friendly staff and a very nice atmosphere. The lasagna is very delicious, and you must try the Funghi arrosto strater if you love mushrooms. Prices are reasonable with great set menu offers, you can get a starter and a main for 13 pounds. Or add a dessert for a total of 16 pounds. There is student offers through uni days. And finally they deliver through deilveroo app.

Excellent customer service and amazing food. I ordered food and I couldn't war. I suddenly started feeling sick and the person serving is food heard me say that and she (I guess her name is Monika) actuallygave me complementary back tea and told me it helps and she even gave me advice to drink ginger tea. Bless her soul. She even offered me more tea when I was leaving. So touched.

Probably some of the best service I've experienced. Staff were so nice and helpful, food came quick and it was delicious. Such a nice experience overall and really made our day trip to brighton soo enjoyable. Initially we were meant to go to Zizzi's but the staff at the front were slightly rude and you had to book in advance so we came here not knowing what to expect. I'm sooo glad zizzi's said their empty restaurant was fully booked because this place really made our whole trip! I love how you can ask for no alcohol inside of the food. Pasta was al dente but I think thats because I'm not used to it - nevertheless was such a nice change and wouldnt change it since it gave that nice italian vibe. They do NHS discount here so deffo worth going !!

Can't say much more than just that - it was ok. Food was a bit dry but edible, drinks were drinkable. It wasn't busy when we arrived. Five tables incuding ours, the busiest with three people sitting around it, and stayed like that the whole evening, actually. Unfortunately, we had to wait for everything and for some of our order to remind staff to bring! Staff was polite when taking our order, just didn't feel that serving any of the customers have priority over their chat with colleagues.

INCREDIBLE! Just got back from eating here and all I can say is incredible. The waiters/waitresses are so kind, helpful and easy to talk to. Definitely was able to have a laugh with them. Not only that, but the food was impeccable. (Their cookie dough was the best cookie dough I have ever eaten, it was light and delicious) 110% recommended - Edit - Went back three days later. My friend and I had am amazing time. I can only say good things - actually amazing things. We had an amazing time and the staff are so friendly and fun to chat to.

Great food, great service, polite staff - cannot fault it. Laura and every other staff member were absolutely flawless and made both of mine and my boyfriends visits an incredible dining experience. They were especially helpful with the Gluten Free options as I suffer from Coeliac disease. Will definitely be coming back for a fourth time! Quaint restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, all round amazing experience. Definitely the best restaurant for gluten free pizza in my opinion.

However one of the waiters was extremely rude to me after I requested that my tastecard discount be added to the bill. He did not apologise and continued to press after I informed him we told the lady who seated us about the tastecard as well as himself when he was taking our order. Some of the best staff ever. The lunch menu at £12.99 for two courses is great value. The new polpette and the spaghetti bolognese was some of the best out of the Bella Italias I visited (compared to the Blackpool one...) Although being understaffed, the few people were very hard working and did the work of more than they are expected to do. Would come back here anytime I can when visiting Brighton.

We felt right at home and with Covid it was really nice to be in a place that was not crowded and people well spaced out and the staff all wearing their mask at all times. Second time coming into fabulous Bella Italia and OH MY Goodness🥵 The Christmas decorations really made the atmosphere feel special. Started with the Garlic Dough bites, and each taste was terrific. 10/10 Next, I had Carbonara but replaced the Pork with mushrooms since I'm a veggie. The pasta was perfectly cooked, mushrooms were just right...not too hard and not too soft. 10/10 again. Finally, I finished off with the Apricot Cheesecake, which was out of this world, rich flavours, it melted lovely in your mouth. 10/10. If my meal was a person, it would be Michael B Jordan cause it was STUNNING. The staff was lovely and kind as usual. Definitely would come again.

My husband and I called in late Friday afternoon and were made to feel welcome and offered a corner away from the door! We liked the restaurant's atmosphere but I was very disappointed with my bean burger and fries. The burger filling cooled down very quickly and the fries served in a wire basket could have been more plentiful! I felt the price was rather high and a fairer price £1.50 lower! A plus was the Tiramisu and the red wine!!!

The food was ok... the service was a little slow. Ordered some garlic dough swirls... £5.99 for 3, which were quite small. Ordered two pasta mains and a side of fries... the fries came out 5-10minutes after my mains after me questioning there whereabouts- apparently 'under the grill' but quite obviously freshly deepfried and forgotten! Not offered any salt or vinegar... I couldn't be bothered to ask as I was in a rush to leave. The mains were both very nice. All of this was made tolerable by 40% off voucher which was mentioned at the start and still left off the bill until questioned! I probably wouldn't visit again... shame, the food was nice

It was a very pleasant visit. If you are a student I strongly recommend to get student beans app and use 50% offer they have for Bella Italia. The food was prepared quickly and the quality was really good. The staff is very friendly. The pizza was a bit oily and we sat down next to the door which resulted in getting hit by a freezing blow every time someone opened the door however these are just minor problems worth forgiving because the whole lunch experience was great 😊

Had lunch using a groupon voucher which was very good value. The waitress we were served by was Monica who was very nice and attentive. The food was good but remember drinks are not part of the groupon voucher so i was presented with a £8 bill for 2 cokes which wasn't a pleasant surprise. Other then that it was a great experience.

A wonderful location for a great taste of Italian cuisine. Offering a wide selection of traditional dishes and drinks at a very reasonable price. If you're in the area (that being the Bella Italia on market Street, Brighton) this is a must for anyone looking for a cosy sit down meal. Be it a family or a romantic meal for two. The food was superb and the chef's were willing to make slight changes to suit our preferences, be it a dislike of chicken or a sensitive tongue to chilli. The staff are very attentive and friendly, especially Louis, who was our server for the evening. He kept a smile on his, and our faces all evening. Was there to top up our wine glasses just as they were emptying and made the evening a wonderful night out for me and my girlfriend. His service definitely made a difference and as a result, I would highly recommend you go and check it out for yourselves. Not that far of a walk from the seafront, meaning a romantic stroll across it shortly after our meal was a perfect end to a fantastic evening. Thanks again Louis, you are a star! 🙌🏻🌟

Ordered 12:11 starters came out within 10-15mins and the mains came out at 12:56. Unfortunately, I was with my nephew and so we kind of wanted food to arrive sooner. Not bad service, food just took too long for what we had hoped. Maybe not the best place to eat at if you're with children. They have high chairs.

An absolutely great place. Excellent service and excellent food. I highly recommend Bella Italia whatever your tastes there's something here for you. I was very impressed that the first thing I was asked as I was being shown to my table was" any allergies" At my table we each had a starter of garlic butter prawns and ciabatta for dipping. Mains was risotto with mussels and prawns in a lobster sauce and conchiglione basilicata which were giant pasta shells filled with spicy sausage and a tomato and bechamel sauce with mozzarella on top. For dessert we both had tiramisu Excellent, excellent. Well done Bella Italia

One of the smaller Bella italia's I have visited, food was fast and hot. Cosy atmosphere.

We had a table inside, but the tables outside had ash trays, which led to other customers smoking there. As it was a hot day, the restaurant windows were open, so the smoke drifted into the restaurant. Several groups of customers were initially seated inside at tables near to the open windows. They each asked to be moved to other tables. I think that Bella Italia should not allow smoking when the windows are open. Please allow all customers to benefit from the good weather. The food was Ok, and the waiters were good.
