A Brighton institution serving classic Italien pasta and pizza dishes. Service is fast and prices are luckily on the lower side so you will find this restaurant to be fairly busy every day. The pizza base wasn’t great and the edges too hard but pasta dishes and desserts are good.

First time coming here and was thoroughly impressed! Booked a table for my partner's birthday and we was greeted with excellent service from the friendly staff. The portions were generous, excellent fresh, quality food and we had the added touch of some free ice cream with a birthday candle for my partner. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a good place to eat, for any special occasions and for a decent price.

Wish I could rate this place higher! The food was absolutely incredible. Never been to Brighton before and this place was recommended by a friend of a friend, and it did not disappoint. I had the caprese salad, which might seem simple but I love a ball of mozzarella, it was delicious. And for main I had the Leonardo pizza which was heaven! Everything so fresh and made to order. Had a couple of cocktails with dinner ad well which were top notch. Service was slightly slow but they were really busy as we saw with the queue of people waiting to be seated! But I can definitely see what brings everyone to Donatello.

Great location, and one of the best places for pasta. The dish I had it was full of flavour with enough cream to keep it moist plenty of vegetables. Staff are very friendly and approachable and nothing was too much for them. The only let down was the dessert which I found it was to cold and the cream it was from the aerosol can.

Great location in the lanes of Brighton. Very delicious food, both the apptizzers and the pasta were really good. Great value for money, pasta dishes come in big portions!! You can get the deal of 1 appetiser and 1 main for 12.50£. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Went for the first time today with my 2 boys and will defo be coming back considering how busy it was and being walking we didn’t have to wait that long to be seated the bloke that greater us was very friendly very nice food arrived quickly was very good pizzas dessert was amazing love the cocktails too my son gave it 10/10 waiting staff was also great would defiantly recommend. If want good food quick service and friendly staff looking forward to coming back 😊
