My husband, children and I, called into Erbe on the off chance we could get a table.. I'm so glad we did!
I have really bad allergies (not to be confused with intolerances!) I explained this to the lady who I believe is the owner and it wasn't a problem whatsoever. She went out of her way to ensure I could dine there with my family. The food was delicious. The gluten free pizza base and pasta were some of the best I've eaten.
We're back in Brighton at the end of June and we'll definitely be making the trip back to Rottingdean to eat at Erbe again.
I cannot tell you how grateful I am that the owner made me feel welcome and not in the slightest bit awkward.
A million thank yous. I can't wait to go back.

Place maybe doesn't look that fancy but the food and service is amazing! Also not overpriced. Nice find!

WOW!! What a amazing meal. The food was tasty, hot, well portioned and nicely presented.
Came with a Groupon voucher which made the meal cheaper, but would gladly have paid the full price. Starters to share and two mains completely filled us both. Mrs loved the tea pot, seemed to never empty. Thank all for a great evening.

Ordered ultimate burger and fries (£12) with garlic bread.
The burger was better quality than other grills/kebab shops in the area, lots of flavour.
However I wouldn't say it was worth £12 and I could have probably got better value at somewhere like Burger and Bird.
I did ask for olives on the assumption they were pitted, and they kindly swapped for a garlic bread when they weren't, however the garlic bread was a let down as it was cold and crispy by the time it arrived.
Overall , I will find it difficult to order from erbes grill and restaurants again when the garlic bread and fries appeared to be rather cheap quality.
At £18 Inc delivery, and the only real winner being the burger, I'd recommend avoiding takeaway as the food will degrade in quality over time.
Maybe its just my fault for ordering junk food, some of the pictures on Google my business look attractive and appetizing, but I didn't see this on my order, just overpriced junk food.
May consider ordering the lasagne or a pizza next time based on existing reviews. I may have better luck collecting rather than delivery too
