A meal for 3. I was made aware of the specials board by the lady who welcomed us. I noticed a very u Italian dish right at the bottom of the board. It's a great favourite at home so I chose it. The liver was lambs and it came with fries and a small portion of vegetables plus gravy. The liver was a generous portion and I wondered if I'd get through it all. I did and it was good. My only nit, I would have liked more onions in the gravy, but this is a personal choice. Good meal and a bottle of red to share. Yes I came away full and content

I often have takeaway pizza here, they are the best, why people go to Domino's for one of there cardboard pizza is beyond me.

We love Antonio's. This was a favourite of ours when we lived in Portishead and it didn't disappoint when we returned whilst visiting last weekend. Antonio and his family - who run the restaurant - were charming as usual; and the food is excellent.

I really liked this Italian restaurant. Small and packed a punch, the food was absolutely fantastic. I had probably the most tastiest Italian dish I have ever had. The spezzatino vesuvio was packed with so much flavour I massively recommend that. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We have lived in the area for 13 years and have driven past this place at least once a week but never been there. We went as a small group and we were impressed by everything. The pizzas were great, the puddings were special and overall the meal was a very enjoyable. Would recommend. My son gas been telling everyone about it as he loved it so much.

Amazing food! Tomato sauce was the beat my husband EVER had! Carbonara was great..silky smooth! Great service... not too fast...and non-invasive. They do not have an option to tip on the card machine. We had no cash so will have to tip more next time we go! Italian food cooked really well in a traditional setting. Well impressed will return soon!

Top quality service, Top quality meals like mama used to make. There's not too many places like this around anymore which is a shame. Fantastic. Also has a takeaway service which seems really popular by the number of pizzas I saw going out the door whilst I was dining. Good value food. Shall have to go back soon.

Absolutely amazing! Best pizza I have ever hand. Friendly service and being served by Antonio himself really adds to the experience. I will definitely be returning here again and bringing friends and family with me. Even though it is a 220 mile drive, it's well worth the journey!

Literally the best pizza I've ever had! And my husband's pasta was delicious too. Big portions, we're so full. I'm glad they haven't gone down the fancy gastro-pub decor route, we felt like we were sat in a little local pizzeria in Italy. Only thing I would say is the chairs were a little uncomfy. But food and service were perfect, we'll be back!

Love this place! It’s traditional Italian, and I have gone back time after time never disappointed. The staff go out of their way to make it special for everyone. had a take away from Antonio's for the first time yesterday and it was honestly the best pizza in the UK, miles better then Domino's or papa johns :) really good sizes at cheap prices (i could only eat half before saving it for breakfast) and you can tell everything they use is fresh, the customer service was really nice they made you feel at home and were very nice to talk to. Highly recommend this place your life will be changed forever!

Collected two amazing pizzas during lockdown, and they were SO nice! So huge we had some for lunch the next day. The best pizzas in Portishead by a long way, lovely people too!

Arrived at this little Italian gem at portishead, very cosy and warm. Cutterlery was clean and the table already later out. The mushroom in fried butter was an excellent starter priced very reasonably at under £5. The pizza that I ordered was really very good and the tastes took me to Italy. The place it's self is very charactistic and the staff were authentic and genuine. There was a little wait, however the restaurant had no vacant tables. A very pleasant place that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for well priced good quality Italian food. The menus were simple and there was a good wine selection. They also will box up your pizza if it's to much in one sitting 😀🍅🌶🍄

This is a great little cosy restaurant with a real family feel. It has a variety of tasty dishes although, because the pizzas are amazing, I personally have never tried the steak or fish even though I am always tempted. The ONLY pizza establishment in Portishead - it does takeaways too!

Proper Italian cooking. the owners are friendly and very welcoming. The portions are most substantial. The only place I've found around Bristol that does it this real, and lets face it, its all about the food in the end, and Antonio's serves the finest, tastiest, REAL Italian cuisine around. Fabulous place , wonderful food & great atmosphere... We were staying at the premiere Inn just down the road and look up restaurants in the area, this was a 8 minute walk from the hotel, and had great reviews. So glad we went, it's fabulous place.

Antionios is an awesome little restaurant that has stood the test of time. It was the first restaurant we visited when moving to Portishead in 1991 and they're still serving up awesome pizzas today. Highly recommended!

The following is an amended version of restaurant review posted on TripAdvisor following my visit on May 9th 2015 > Molto gustoso cibo Italiano (Very tasty Italian food)!” After visiting the Doctor Who Experience, Cardiff we were headed home & needed something to eat. Motorway service area - no thanks. Having seen the sign many times we headed into Portishead. The first place didn't have anywhere to park, then when it did, we found it was full of "chavs" & kids birthday parties & no atmosphere. Then we saw "Antonio's", they had seats & were very welcoming. Pizzas, calzone and mussel tagliatelle was served fairly quickly after a starter of delicious garlic bread. The reasonably priced generous portions meant most of us didn't have room for sweet, apart from youngest son - who was pleased to have his strawberries and cream served in a sundae glass like an ice cream. The owner Antonio & his staff were very attentive, I would heartily recommend the restaurant to my friends and visit there again when in the area.
