Thankyou so very much Pizza Picante for our gorgeous fish and chips this evening. We did not order until later, the food was piping hot the cod and chips absolutely gorgeous. Yum. Forget dominoes, pizza Hut et Al this is proper pizza! Thin Base, lots of topping and generous size. They also do fish and chips, which are soooo tasty. They don't deliver to nailsea for some reason, but they are easy to find, park and get your self! They do deliver to Portishead, Clevedon and around.

We've eaten a lot more takeaways over Lockdown than we did before, and this has become our regular. They make great Pizzas at a fair price, as well as the usual British takeaway stuff and others. Their local competition is a bit of a rip-off to be honest, which pushed us to go to Picante in the first place, and there's no reason now to go elsewhere.

My Partner and I both ordered fish and chips from here this evening. The food is cooked to order so waited a short while until it was ready. Definately worth the wait, the food was cooked perfectly and was lovely and hot. If passing through Portishead again we will definately visit x

Beats me why anyone would go and queue in a chip shop when you can have delicious "cod lots" delivered straight to your door! We've been using Pizza Picante since we moved to Portishead a few years ago and we've never been disappointed. By a very long way, they serve the best pizza and fish and chips in town.

Excellent pizzas, good quality and fast and friendly service. *Update* since my review a year ago I need to add that we have tried other choices from the menu and every order has been top quality. We've ordered several times since my first review and the delivery guys are still very polite and efficient. Best battered haddock for miles!

We recently moved to clevedon and used to live like 5 minutes from this wonderful wonderful delivery service. The food is effing lovely, portions are huge and the chips are a mile better than Appleby's next door (and don't get me wrong those guys also do a bloody good chip!) I am hoping and praying that they still deliver because the vast majority of take aways in Clevedon are a load of gash. Picante is well worth the extra price .. get it up ya.

I'm so glad I didn't go for fish and chips tonight and I went for pizza . I travel a lot with my work, and want to say that is hard to find a place with such good and tasty italian style pizza, Domino's or pizza hut is not proper pizza and I avoid these as much as possible. These guys make proper pizza. Fresh ingredients, cooked while you wait in shop or order for delivery.

Decent takeaway, friendly staff, wish they would say 30 minutes prep time, rather than 15 when you order on the phone though, as normally end waiting around when collecting.

Bit of a mixed bag first time ordering from here .pizza,s tasted good but bit on the cold side .garlic bread was like cardboard and not edible but the chips were great .was it good enough to tempt me away from domino's jury is out .

Friendly staff, reasonable prices and a range of take away when you fancy a chippy tea, the cod is particularly nice and is my regular choice from here. me and partner have also had the pizzas on occasion which was delivered hot and fresh!

Staff are always very friendly, and food is prepared in very clean conditions. My only concern is that some of the delivery drivers appear unclean and appearances are important when handling food.
