Just as good as our first visit! Fantastic pizza from a proper pizza oven. Sitting outside under the warm evening sunshine, the Boneyard is definitely a quirky location and you have to know where you're going to find it but it's absolutely worth it 🌞🙂👍

One of the best vegan pizzas we've ever had! We were staying in Canton for our trip to Cardiff and this was an 8 minute walk for us. I'm so glad we came here as this place is amazing. The location and place itself has so much character. The staff are fantastic here and made us feel so welcome. The Pizzas are out of this world! The base, the toppings and with beautiful vegan Moz. We also had the loaded fries which were just great. Keep up the good work guys everything is just amazing.

Fab pizzeria. Incredible food and drinks, with a huge range. Couldn’t help but eat far too much, but it was well worth it! Lovely friendly staff and a cool atmosphere. Only negatives were the loos weren’t terribly nice and the Apérol spritz could do with an orange garnish and a bit less soda water, if I were being nit-picky. Still 100% recommend!

My favourite pizza in Cardiff! Tastes best in person but you will not be disappointed! Menu changes regularly to fit seasonal ingredients but would highly recommend the artichoke, courgette or 4 garlic if available. Lots of vegan & veggie options too. Make sure you get a dip for the crusts to really round off the experience.

Dustys housed my engagement party and they went above and beyond to ensure that all our guests had seating and ensured we were both happy. They placed us in a lovely green garden full of plants and flowers that just added to the evening and to the rustic style that we love 🥰 Although it was a Saturday evening, which for anywhere is going to be busy, the staff were really on the ball, kept the orders flowing and provided great customer service. Even though there were over 35 of us!! Very very impressed. Pizza, as always was absolutely fantastic and the drinks are to die for! All my guests enjoyed everything they ordered and were happy! Highly recommend Dustys for your events and for an evening meal, you will not be disappointed ☺️☺️

Quirky, friendly and great pizza. Can just about walk there from the city centre (about 25 mins from the castle) and it's well worth the walk. The pizzas are way better than any high street chain (obviously). Proper wood burning pizza oven and ingredients which reflects a desire to be the best. Will definitely keep on going, even in the winter! (They have blankets because it's kind of outdoors but sheltered) Had to wait a while for the food but the atmosphere was lovely so no rush!

Love their pizza crust! A lot more than a traditional Neapolitan pizza! Cheese and tomato tasted really fresh. Staff was really friendly. Good for a small group outing, the venue is quite hippie, but kid friendly. I like the casual and retro vibe of the whole place.

Being from Napoli, I take great pleasure in showing my respect to dusty knuckle and it's amazing staff. The restaurant itself will surprise you with it's simplicity, perfectly merged with a pinch of originality. The staff is friendly and fit perfectly with the environment. The food is delicious, the pizza actually taste like the ones back in Italy and the ingredients used are of high standards, to make the full experience just amazing. We cannot wait to go back.

Lovely atmosphere, pizza looked better than it tasted but nice side dishes. It was busy, but there's not a huge amount of tables so we were disappointed with the time it took (even though we appreciate it was all made to order & there's only one pizza oven). Luckily the kids were entertained by ping pong table.

A hidden gem! One of the best pizzas I have tried full of flavour and great ingredients. It’s rare these days to get a good flavoured base/dough but this hit all the right spots! The staff were great and nothing was too much for them. Went on a half term ‘make your own pizza’ which (for my daughter) included the stretching of the dough and topping her own before they fired it in the oven. Highly recommend - can’t wait to go back.

Without doubt my favourite Pizza in Cardiff, I can't really describe how good they are. The dough is absolutely delicious and the toppings are really tasty, all cooked in a proper wood burning pizza oven. The homemade dips are also delicious. Good choice of local beers available too, can't wait to go back again.

Being a big fan of their pizzas, decided to stop in for brunch today (Sunday) and it did not disappoint... Amazing scrambled eggs, bacon and maple syrup on sourdough toast. Fab. Wonderful, chilled atmosphere too.

Absolutely delicious pizza, but was a touch concerned over some of the safety aspects. None of the servers wore masks, the tables were very close together, and our server knew nothing about the beers on tap. That being said, I came for pizza, and I got a great one.

My partner and I had some wonderful nights out at Dusty Knuckle when it was in Pontcanna, and we've missed you since you moved, so last night we decided to order takeaway. What a treat - these are still the best pizzas we've ever had. Mine was the vegan option which was beetroot, which to be honest sounded a little odd, but it was absolutely wonderful. My partner had the Neopolitan which he said was delicious too. Thank you!

Simple online booking system confirmed booking mid morning within 2 hours via email. Can’t think of a better place in Cardiff to get such good food and drink for two people for £30. This place is a gem.

Good sourdough pizza - authentic high quality ingredients. Really good service, it's small so be prepared to book or wait. Sells Pipes beers too which is a bonus. It's outdoor (covered) so be prepared weather-wise. It's pretty basic but that's all part of its charm.

Came here for a friend's birthday. They do good pizza and wine and the venue is pretty cool. It's was quite cold though as you are practically outside so if you go when it's cold wrap up warm! I think there were blankets provided if you wanted them. They had some big food event on that we had to be out for which looked pretty good. You pay for a ticket and eat lots and lots of food, the ticket seemed quite pricey though. You would have to eat a lot! Would definitely go back if I fancied a nice pizza.

Nice selection of pizzas. The floor outside is slate so if you are taking a dog then it might be worth taking something for them to stand on. All the pizzas are fresh but the flavours are not the norm but if you don't mind that, then this is the place for you. If your struggling to find them, walk under the arch and walk left and you'll see the kitchen!

Lovely pizza but expensive! Trying to charge London prices in Cardiff isn't going to work for me! We ordered 2 takeaway pizzas (had to pay for the reusable takeaway containers) and had 2 330ml beers while we waited and it came to an eye watering £38!!

Gorgeous pizza and a really nice space. It's outside but it's covered and there are heaters so it's even nice when it's cold. There are specials that change regularly and a good choice of local drinks. Some of the best pizza in Cardiff!

Fairly good quality pizza but lacking in toppings and extremely pricey for what you get. It is good dough but then lots of places offer good dough. The toppings are tasty and good quality for sure but could do with more on them. The venue is very quirky and nice to sit in but for somewhere that exclusively makes pizza, I don't see the need for £9+ pricetag (margherita is £7).

Went here in the summer for a pizza and beer al fresco and it was fab. Then last week our daughter had her wedding party there after having got married in The Bahamas. It was the windiest and wettest day of the year but we all had so much fun dancing and singing the night away. The pizzas are pretty amazing it's got to be said. The place is very 'boho' and casual and brilliant with it!

My partner and I went to Dusty Knuckle a short while ago on a business trip to Cardiff. We were warmly greeted by the owner Phill (who is such a friendly, charming man, as well as being the chef!) and a member of his staff. The restaurant has got a lovely relaxed vibe in a semi - outdoor seating area. We ordered a pizza each which was honestly the best pizza I have eaten outside of Italy! After dinner we went and sat in the back outdoor area of the restaurant and had a glass of the organic unfiltered wine (don’t be put off by the fact it is cloudy, it tastes fantastic!). At the end of the evening when we went to pay and Phill and the lovely staff were so friendly and chatty we didn’t want to leave! This restaurant is an absolute must if you’re in Cardiff and are looking for a relaxed evening meal with fantastic food at an incredibly reasonable price! We will 100% be back when we are next in Cardiff. Thank you Dusty Knuckle for a fantastic evening!

Probably just an off night when we went, but though it was clear there was heart in the work, the outcomes were a bit lacking. One pizza had 30% of the crust charred solid black (forgot the name, the one with samphire, good toppings), the pepperoni on the other pizza was absurdly thick. Rustic. That's the word I'd use to describe Dusty Knuckle. From the aesthetic, to the menu and the pizzas themselves. Everything seems rugged and handmade. If that's to your taste, you'll love it. As for how the pizzas themselves taste, they're delicious!

Amazing Pizza. When my friends first told me about dusty knuckle, it was a pizza they had tried at a beer festival, they went on and on about how great or was and I just thought, 'C'mon, it's just pizza'. Then I tried it and discovered how wrong I was; this is the best pizza I've ever eaten. I try a different pizza each time I go and I'm never disappointed.

Best pizza in Cardiff! Authentic Italian flavours, smells and textures. The mozzarella was simply beautiful and my friend's nduja was deliciously smokey and spicy. Great selection of drinks, I was really impressed with the ciders. Fantastic service, really helpful and informative staff. The atmosphere was perfect for an outdoor pizza establishment. I could not fault it.
