Excellent pizza and great, quick service. Clean and tidy place, with a nice atmosphere - not too quiet but not too busy. Desserts were lovely, and coped well with allergy requirements. Highly recommend for anyone who wants great food at a reasonable price.

Not as good as my first visit some months ago. Pricey both for the pizza as well as my soft drink. I had an orange juice and the the spiciest pizza on offer - I'm of Indian background, after all! If you are Vegetarian and would like to got to Pizza Express. Than this place is not for you. They might have better option and amazing taste of Non vegetarian pizza. But not for vegetarians. However, they have different vegetarian option in the menu. But, the taste is not that great. If you are fond of spicy Indian food with lots of different taste for your taste bud. Than you can try and opt it out. Still the ambience was good, staff was very good. And as mentioned above they would have good taste in meat and non-veg option.

My wife and I both love the pizza at Pizza express, and decided to dine in here at the High Street outlet in Cardiff. The service was very quick, the staff were awesome and the pizza, of course, was incredible. The cardiff high street outlet has a very good ambience and is definitely a great pizzeria in the town. PS - My personal favorite is Romana Polla Forza with lots of chilly oil. It's simply delicious if you like your pizza spicy.

I went here for evening meal with my partner and as we arrived there was a Deliveroo driver waiting in the doorway, he was blowing out a lot of vape smoke and spat on the floor. So, we had to step over that and semi duck so I didn't have to inhale his second hand smoke. Other than this for a poor start , once inside the food was delicious and service good.

Family lunch! Was delicious. It was a busy sunny Saturday lunch time, and we still managed to get a table. Friendly attentive staff. Used my tesco club card vouchers which was absolutely no hassle at all. Can't wait to re visit.

Visited Saturday afternoon, was fairly quiet so had a choice of seating. Staff member was friendly and attentive. Order was served quickly and the food was fantastic. No one does authentic Italian Pizza like PizzaExpress does. I only wish I had more local. Great effort, thank you.

Last minute hunger pangs drove us to try the vegan pizza here and it was very good. No real faults with staff or premises... Only atmosphere lacking because we got there so late and we were the last ones out... But no one rushed us or made us feel unwelcome. Good food, nice location and I'd be happy to eat here again. Me and my friends we frequently eat in Italian restaurants. We found this place very cosy, mainly because of the friendly service, especially by this one handsome Italian waiter, I believe his name was Luchino. He introduced us to the traditional Italian kitchen and entertained us during the entire duration of our visit. We cant wait to go back... Thank you so much!

We got seated quickly on a busy saturday night, drinks came quick even though our waiter said there would be a 30 minute wait for food but within 10 minutes of us ordering food it came. Only reason for 4 stars is due to the fact the food isn't value for money. The lasagne that is priced at nearly £13 is worth about half of that. If Pizza Express does go bust it would be easy to see why.

Disappointing. I requested the vegan menu which was found for me and there was four or five pizza and one pasta dish. I chose the pasta dish and to be honest could have made better at home. The chocolate and amaretto parfait was still frozen when delivered to the table. The team where disinterested. I won’t bother to visit again

Love pizza express, especially the St Marys Street one. Staff are usually helpful, although not always happy! Food is freshly prepared in an open kitchen so you can watch how the dish is made. Great selection of food and drink, always good offers and deals available online

Food was 5☆ as usual but the service/atmosphere wasn't as good as the newport restaurant we usually visit. We had booked a table online for 6.15 but arrived a little early which I informed the guy who I presume was a manager. He wasn't very friendly and made me feel like I was lying about having booked a table didn't even ask for a name and kind of just ushered us in like a bit of an inconvenience. The waitress was better but just not the same level of friendly/happy service you get at the newport pizza express.

We always go to Pizza Express in Cardiff High St all the time with the children as the service is outstanding, the food is great and we do have our favorite waitress Erika who is now the manager. The kids love her and she always makes time to come and speak with us and the children..

We enjoyed a great children's party at Pizza Express on High St, Cardiff, today. The experience was brilliant because it was very well organised and the kids had an amazing time. Our host, Magda, was exceptional: she had a lovely way with the children, she was interesting, patient, efficient and went the extra mile. She was completely unflustered by a group of 9 year olds - all 18 of them! In fact all of the staff were very helpful and so willing to accommodate the kids. The chef, Kuba, was so relaxed around the children. He gave every child some attention and complimented their efforts - all of them. We would recommend this establishment for a children's party without reservation. We felt like nothing was too much trouble. Although all of our party guests were impeccably behaved, it was heart warming to have that pointed out by the staff. Thank you for making Mia's birthday such a wonderful experience!

Pizza Express is a reliable choice for good pizza in Cardiff. Friendly service and tasty food makes for a good experience and a decent location for friends to meet, other social events, and even romantic dates, though the prices are high and the food, not being mind-blowing, is not quite worth it.

Overpriced as all Prizza Express restaurants are, but the food in this particular one is far below average. Burnt pizza, tomatoes and mozzarella salad was ridiculously small, desserts were cold and winded. Plus a mark of lipstick on the glass. Just ignore this place.

In Wales or throughout the U.K it is very difficult to eat healthy and you always have an Italian restaurant that acts as a joker and takes your belly away.
