Fab bar, delicious pizzas, great selection of beers, (although no cider, mango beer was a great substitute) and the staff were super! Had my birthday get together here in the upstairs area which even had a pool table! Would definitely recommend!

Honestly nothing I didn't love, mango beer is beautiful, I had the risotto and it was really tasty, music at a good volume, and to top it off, the staff are fantastic, really friendly and more than happy to go the extra mile.

Went there last weekend for my mates stag do. It started off badly by being rammed and no tables available as Tom Jones was in town but a staff member, Charlie saved the start of our evening. She told us that if we found a table to come find us and she'd bring food menus. We eventually found a table but there was a two hour wait for food. Just as we was about to try and find somewhere else to go for food she went and she bought us little pots of popcorn to keep us going. It was a very much appreciated by me and the lads. I also saw her handling the door when they got too busy to accept anymore people really well and with a beautiful smile on her face. A while later she came back to let us know the wait for food had massively gone down and we could order now. Charlie is a credit to your company, I can't imagine it was an easy shift for her or any of your staff but they kept plugging through with a smile on their faces and giving an excellent service. Charlie was especially amazing with the small gestures and great service that meant so much to me and the boys on such an important night. I highly reccomend this bar and to get look after by Charlie.

Wow!! What a great place. As soon as we walked in Morgan made us feel right at home. Unsure on beer choice, he took us to the bar and passionately talked us through the range on offer and gave us tasters. The Mango beer was incredible. All the staff were amazing and again made us so relaxed. Visiting from Norfolk this made us really happy as it was our first time in Cardiff let alone Zerodegrees so to know we were so welcome made our night superb 😀 staff like Morgan are hard to come by and have made us want to visit again without fail! Thank you all at Cardiff Zerodegrees!!

Used to be best pizzas in Cardiff but have gone downhill to average since there was a change of kitchen staff. Not cheap except when the Beat the Clock offer is on Mondays. Beat the clock gets suspended over the Christmas period.£5 at 5pm £6 at 6pm pro rata. Great beer too brewed on the premises. Depends if you like the style. Beer prices have also risen to over £5 a pint. There are now better places to go. Update June 7th no change.

Great spot for an after dinner drink or some dinner. Popped in for my first visit in around 5 years and immediately noticed that in terms of decor, it was mostly the same. However the menu was a nice surprise as it doesn't overwhelm you with options, splitting things up nicely with mussels, pizza and pasta. The gnocchi was delicious, the pizza was a great size for the price, and even better was the service, which was welcoming and relaxed.

Good food, good beer. Beer is expensive for Cardiff though £5.25 a pint in March 2022. Monday after 17:00 there is a beat the clock pricing for food. The price you pay per meal is the time you arrive ie £5 at 5, £6 at 6 etc.,except for Bank Holidays and most of December. Their speciality beers are usually over £5 a pint. Latest offers are lunchtime food discount: £6.25 for meals from the main menu. Not as good as it once was, sadly. Pizzas not as good as they used to be. Personally I'm not beating a path to the place anymore and there is no atmosphere there either.

Perfect place for a fresh in house made beer, testy, proper beers&ales, pleasant and friendly hosts. We’ve been here many times and always satisfied with the taste of the beer and food! Absolutely friendly and professional service and very accessible prices! It’s fabulous to see how the beer is brewed on spot in the same location! Enjoy your experience as we did! Great staff and atmosphere. The guys on the bar were friendly and helpful and the food was really good. I only had sweet potato fries, but they were delicious and the perfect nibble with a few drinks, we even went back for a second portion!

Enjoyed my experience at Zero Degrees I actually visited it twice during my visit to the City. The staff were attentive and I had a nice conversation with some of the barmen and a manager about a couple of their beers. I found the black lager especially delicious and their Bohemian Pilsner also very enjoyable. Didn't eat on my visits but the food looked great. Did have a glass of wine and thought that the wine list was compact but quality. Definitely worth a stop for beer enthusiasts visiting the City and definitely nice enough for non-beer lovers to have a great time too. Also seemed to be a good date location as the décor is nice and actually a little intimate when the lights dimmed in the evening.

Every time I make it to Cardiff, I end up at Zerodegrees. They have a handful of in-house brewed beers as well as a normally stocked bar. Food is good and well presented, albeit a little smaller portioned. Very nice atmosphere. Generally a nice place to visit if you want a decent meal and somewhere not a pub :)

Visited with 2 friends whilst on a short trip to Cardiff. Covid social distancing measures meant it was table service only. Initially we were given a table upstairs at the very back but a quick chat with the manager and we were moved to a more sociable table. Not only that we were moved again later after our dinner to the main bar area so we can could enjoy more of the atmosphere. The waiting staff could not have looked after us better..we ended up staying all night instead of carrying on with our original plans. Food was great and the atmosphere was lovely.

Real good pizza (wish I took a photo)... Crispy thin crust and quality ingredients. The beer was on point as well. We came by for lunch and the staff were both friendly and attentive. Massive location which I'm sure gets slammed before games and on weekends.

Always very friendly and helpful staff here. Good range of own brewed beers that cater for different tastes from the pilsner to the mango beer to the black lager. Simple menu: pizza and mussels but well done. The scotch bonnet pizza is not for the faint hearted. Gluten free pizzas amongst the best I've ever had. The Bristol branch could certainly learn a few things from here.

I really liked the beer on offer here - and there was plenty of it from mainstays to more experimental beers. The space is industrial and quite cool looking although I understand it might not be to everybody's taste and the some of the furniture is starting to look a little worn. It was a bit of a surprise to find that they did pizza here as well but I was really impressed with the quality of the food.

Really great pizzas and amazing mango beer! Was a bit quiet but we were there on Sunday afternoon so maybe a quieter time for them - at least you didn’t have to queue for your drinks;) service was a bit on the quiet as well but again maybe that was just the timing of our visit. Would recommend!

Amazing place with very reasonably priced beers and plenty of seating. I had the wheat beer and the mango beer. Staff is great - especially one of the bartenders from Spain. This place is popular with regulars and tourists, and would highly recommend if you want to get a beer.

Can't understand why this is stated as a microbrewery...this site doesn't produce any beer at all...it has all the equipment on show by all they do with it is store all the connecting pipes. Very disappointing on that front. Beer is just OK - nothing special. Pizza's are not too bad but you do pay a premium compared to delivery places which is to be expected. Overall - it's ok for a visit but it will never be my "go to" place.

I really like the place. It has a nice vibe. Really like the pizzas and the food in general there. They have some really great options on the menu! Such a hidden gem! The staff are great, they let us sample some of the lagers before deciding which ones to buy. The mango one is delicious! Love the bar itself as you can see the vats of beer being brewed as you drink.

Five stars for me. Great food, great beers and fantastic service. And it is right opposite the Principality Stadium so it is a no-brainer to head straight there after whatever sporting event you happen to be at. The roof terrace is idyllic on a sultry summer evening. Love the Mango beer. We need ZERODEGREES in more towns and cities.

We had afternoon tea on Saturday and were so well looked after by all the staff. The selection of food was different to most afternoon teas with a good mix of sweet and savory, but it was all so delicious. Will definitely be back.👍

The decor has a quite informal layout with breakout areas featuring sofas for those wishing to have drinks but not looking to eat anything. There are sufficient tables jotted around and not too close together to feel claustrophic. The menu featured some novel items such as Jamaican Chicken Pizza which was surprisingly tasty (think Levi Roots Reggae Reggae sauce on the pizza base instead of tomato puree). The Lime and Chicken Tagliatelle is highly recommended also and was well seasoned. Portion size was not mingy in the last and we left feeling quite content. Service was excellent and attentive. It’s okay. Used to be a good option years ago before Tiny Rebel & Brewdog moved in on the same street. Always presumed it’s called Zero Degrees because of the branch in Blackheath that might be on the Prime Meridian line. If that’s true it’s pretty cool. If not, I’d have given it 2 stars.

I have mixed feelings about Zerodegrees. I had their pizza in the past and quite frankly is far from being the best pizza in Cardiff. However, their beer is very good. I guess it makes it overall a good place for a pint!

Zero degrees is a Jack of All Trades and you know what they say about a Jack of All Trades. The pizza absolutely hit the spot but the beer brewed on the premises wasn't quite up to scratch. When I told our waitress that the beer had a 'cabbagey' aroma I was told, without irony, "oh, that's the hops, they're cabbagey hops". We were given alternate beers, which were fine, so all was not lost.

(Translated) It was a daytime stay, but even immediately after the store opened, it was filled with reservations. You can make a seat without a reservation, and there is no problem with the response. The same store in Bristol has better food taste and staff support, but this store is reasonably good. Calzone wasn't good enough, so next time I'd like to try another menu. The food is served quickly and I like it.
