We were a party of 7, celebrating a belated birthday. The food was superb, everyone loved their starter. There is something for everyone. The pizza was really good. The pasta was amazing. Those that had meat dishes said they could not fault their meal. We were not rushed to make our choices. An amazing experience and I am sure we will return! Thank you for making our evening a truly superb birthday celebration.

Just visited to celebrate my son's 19th birthday. A genuine Italian experience which transported us back to our travels in Italy. Beautiful interior with a friendly & homely atmosphere. Staff were lovely. Food was amazing with very quick service! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves true Italian cuisine. Can wait to visit again!

The restaurant is small but makes Lucent homemade food. I had fish on a bed of mussels, me husband had a minestrone that's worth coming back for. They offer pizzas, such as margarita for vegetarians but you can choose any and have items removed.
The restaurant is too small for children who like to get down from the table and run around.
There is disabled parking just outside the restaurant. I cannot remember if there was a step into the restaurant but I feel it best to call and ask directly. The owner of very friendly and will accommodate.
If you fancy a taste of Italy, look non further.

Great food, service was a little slow on this occasion (Saturday mid afternoon). Also ordered penne and got spaghetti. Lovely tasting meals, fresh ingredients and nice sized portions (not too much) of good quality.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Served by the lovely lady called Paola, I had Calamari for starters which I enjoyed so much I forgot to take a photo and the most amazing Mussels and bread for my main.
Everything was fresh and packed full of flavour!
I live over an hour drive away from Cholchester but would most definitely make the trip for a night out 😍😍

Absolutely brilliant!!! my wife and I went last night for my birthday meal, truly authentic Italian cooked fresh to order. The owner is a absolutely lovely, friendly and goes out of her way to accommodate, if there’s something you don’t like she will make it the way you do, her customer service is second to none, you will find things on the menu you will not find at any other Italian restaurant, even some of her grandmothers own recipes.
The food was beautiful, fresh and made to order . I had pizza frittas for starters as starter which i had never seen before and they did not disappoint, they were like little pockets if heaven. My wife had the piccolo antipasto misto and for mains we had spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti bolognese both of us agree it was the best we’ve ever had.
Truly wonderful experience all round. A complete gem of a restaurant, if you are in Colchester looking for Italian avoid the big chains and go here you will not be disappointed! Will definitely be visiting again very soon

Love this place. Great food, cosy and staff are warm, funny and know what they are on about. Went there 3 nights in a row. Not pretentious but authentically Italian. Happy to know my money goes to the people who run it rather than a chain.
