Fabulous Italian always busy, we've not been for a few years. Managed to get booked in at very short notice. Service from all was great & the food the same 👍👍🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️☕☕

Cosy restaurant with super tasty food and reasonable prices. Very friendly staff too. I think the menu is very different to most of the restaurants, many dishes you wouldn’t really get anywhere else. I will be coming back to try more dishes for sure.

The place has a very homely feel to it, especially the entrance. The place is nicely decorated up for Christmas and Christmas songs playing. The first thing I had was the starter; Crocchet Di Mozzarella for £7.20 It's a Deep fried Buffalo Mozzarella in bread crumbs, served with a tomato sauce and garnish. At first I was kinda judging how it will taste on looks, but I was expecting a small portion, but definitely bigger than what I was expecting. I'd say this is just right but still probably not enough for the price. It was lovely and I certainly made a good choice, will 100% have this every time. For my main I had Filetto Al Pepe for £23.90 It's a Fillet of beef served in a creamy peppercorn sauce with brandy and a hint of garlic. It comes with some veg on the side and I had orderd a side of chips for £3. The beef was about the same size as my starter which I wasn't expecting, it was cooked to my taste, 'medium to well done'. Probably the best peppercorn sauce I've had, all the flavour with less of the spices. The kids had double chocolate cake, there's quite a few afters to choose from and they all look so lovely When asking for the bill, adults got a complimentary shot, kids got lollys... Except me, I got a lolly for some reason so the driver someone else gave me theirs. Overall lovely food, homely setting but it's an expensive hour.

Went here for the first time and we will be back, food was lovely, ( could have done with a bit more filling in the cannelloni) but apart from that 👍staff are so friendly! Even the chef came out and had banter with us. Would definitely recommend this place.

Really enjoyed the welcome, drinks served while you wait for a table etc . I had a Bruschetta starter and a freshly cooked Tagliatelle 'dish of the day' ... lovely taste for both. Service was attentive enough.

Had mozerella and ribs for starters. They were both great!! The ribs had no bone on and fell to pieces!! Had a steak for the maon which was cooked to perfection. Very nice old skool feel to the venue and highly recommended!!

I've been here a number of times and always enjoyed it, but this time not so much. I had a starter I don't remember what it was called but it cost £7.50 and from what I could see it was 3 x slices on beef tomato with 3 x slices of cheese 1 inch x 2 inch and a drizzle of oil with chopped leaves in it. One of my companions had a risotto and basmati rice appeared to have been used and not risotto rice. My dessert was cheesecake with forest berries which were watery which in my house usually means they were frozen not fresh . There were a few other niggles from my other companions but I can't remember what. I don't know if they've relaxed a few things cos of Covid but it was disappointing. I really hope it picks up. The staff are friendly, polite and really nice

Excellent food. Top class service. I would recommend this restaurant to all. Remember, this is not pub grub so don't compare the prices. It is not quick and cheap but nor is it expensive and the food is well worth it and worth the little extra time it takes in the preparation. Enjoy!

Took my friend for a birthday meal. We arrived at 6pm so the restaurant was calm n quiet. The staff was very friendly, the menu offered large choice. We were served quickly n the food was beautiful-fillet steak n monkfish. As for the tiramisu, would easily have eaten it again! A wonderful experience. Our waitress even chased us down the street with the shopping bag we'd forgotten!!😀 we ll be back😀

Last time I went there they said the pancakes were off the menu so I thought to myself, surely you must have some eggs and flour? If it's too much rustle up some pancakes when somebody asks for them? I'm not all that bothered about going again cynical I know but wasn't exactly Italian to me.

The great atmosphere is what makes this place. Doncaster has plenty of good Italian restaurants (food and decor-wise), but for me an Italian really needs that family-run atmosphere that you only seem to get in Italy. Vivos is something of an exception, and although the decor is a little on the odd and cluttered side (which made me a little apprehensive upon entry), the atmosphere is fantastic and the food, crucially, is also very good. I thoroughly recommend this place.
