From booking to desert a great experience. We ordered very quickly after sitting down. The starters arrived and we were pleasantly surprised by how good they were. Delicious starters. The mains were a revelation, amazing taste and portions. From start to finish an amazing experience with excellent food and service!! Would recommend to anyone looking for good food in a nice atmosphere.

Cannot find any reason at all to drop a star for Incontri. Starters were Calamari Fritti and King Prawns with garlic white wine and chilli, both were very good and the Calamari was a nice big portion for me so I was happpppy. Mains were Penne Carnegie and a rugby ball sized Calzone Carne, both were fantastic! Cocktails were a Margarita which wasnt on the menu but barista made it specially and an Edinburgh Gin cocktail with raspberry. We ordered the Malbech and that was sublime... I've never tasted a wine so.smooth. Will return again.

Slow service, took nearly an hour from being seated to recieving the starters. I had toasted bread with cheese and parma ham, was very nice. The main course took less time to arrive but I was slightly underwhelmed by this as my pizza was not very warm and ended up being cold by the time I'd eaten half. I love Incontri and just paid my first visit since before Covid and it’s just as good as it every was. Delicious Sicilian style Arancini and seafood cannelloni and ravioli as you can order your pasta dish as half and half if you can’t decide! It came with sea bass, scallops and prawns and was perfectly cooked and of course they offer Parmesan of you want it. Outstanding love it 😍

Can't fault the food. Chef is amazing BUT very disappointed to be offered the special recently - a ham shank with beans, no veg no potatoes then charged £78 for 3 portions. No wonder they didn't mention the price which wasn't shown on the menu. Would never have paid that for a ham shank. Disappointing way to treat regulars. Changed from going once or twice a week to not at all.

Definitely a great find in Dunfermline. Lovely afternoon. No rush, no feeling of being pushed out. Lunch menu was surprisingly very good compared to other restaurants. Atmosphere great toilets spotless. All in all a wonderful experience.

First visit here with 3 pensioner friends, ladies who love to lunch. Lovely decor, great food, pity about the rude, grumpy waiter. When asked if we could share the pizza bread starters he refused saying 'one starter, one person'. So we were unable to finish 2 of the pizza breads. We asked to take them home and they were laid aside for us. On leaving we were told they were in the bin! I have to say another friend had told me about the rude waiter and the experience she had shared with friends.......they left no tip. We did as the service from all the other waiters was first class. If I do return I will give the grumpy waiter a wide berth! Christine Fraser.

Xmas night out. Food was good and plentiful. I did not like the cocktails, and I feel like they were not home made, even though I asked. I drink mojitos on a regular basis and it was definitely not freshly made (it was too neon coloured to be freshly made). I got a strawberry daquiri, which the waitress spilt right down my brand new jacket!!!

Good overall! Big, high ceilinged dining room, bit barn like but atmospheric. A busy Friday night, but service was efficient. Food good, drinks fit for purpose, prices reasonable. Recommendable!

Me and my husband went last night it was fantastic food and service. We both started with Aranchini , we last had this in Sicily a few years ago and this was better. My husband then had a seafood spaghetti and I had the sea bass canalonni, both were delicious. Would highly recommend Incontri and next time we visit Dunfermline we will certainly be eating here again to try something else off the menu.

We traveled up from Scarborough to attend the Scottish Italian car show at Hopetoun House on the 26th May. The night before we went to Incontri for a meal and would highly recommend it! There was a great atmosphere, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious and it was very good value. The complimentary Limoncello was the icing on the cake!
