Nice vibe to the restaurant. Plenty of attentive staff and the food came quickly. Lots of choice on main menu, children’s menu and drinks menu. Ice cream parlour adjoining the restaurant is great too. Free car parking on site but is a little small.

The visit was because we'd got a voucher as a present last Christmas, so had to use it before it was out of date. The food was lovely, every course was exceptional and the restaurant was clean, tidy and relaxing. We had a couple of beers with the meal (not driving, of course) which topped off a very pleasant time. Definitely going back, especially for special occasions, because the visit was so good.

The food was excellent as were the portion sizes and the prices were very reasonable. The menu provided a great number of options including vegan and vegetarian dishes. The staff were very attentive and friendly with smiley faces. Would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Italy in the suburbs. Purpose built restaurant in the middle of the 'burbs! Nice modern ambiance and pleasant staff. Good honest food, predominantly Italian, at reasonable prices. Very enjoyable pizzas, wasn't so enthusiastic about the side salad, other dishes also looked good. Nothing wow, but more than fills the gap. Look forward to coming back.

Lovely family meal had for a special birthday. Food was fantastic and service was very good. Usually take photographs of our meals out however must have been enjoying the food too much it slipped my mind. Worth a visit if you are thinking Italian food.

Excellent Staff friendly and happy. The food was excellent good portions size, full on flavour pasta perfect, meatballs lovely, soft herby tasty, big prawns, the Mussel dish with chilli was very good, the sauce (made my mouth tingle with taste) was spot on. The Zebra was a surprise Black pudding crispy hot the mozarella soft cool balsamic creme finished of nicely, try it. I had the mixed meat with penne pasta, when looking at thought not a big portion, however the plates are deep, just finished it, the steak parts lovely soft (loads several strips) bacon bits and mince and a lovely tomato sauce through it. Lovely looking Sundaes but we were full by then but bought some ice cream on the way out and had it at next day, very good flavour and creamy. Have told our friends and family next time they visit we coming here. Recommend.

I loved this place. The staff could not do enough for us. My two granddaughters scoffed their pasta Bolognese and hot dog and my pizza was beautiful if a little bit too big but delicious. The ice cream was good too with so many flavours and toppings. Well done Luca.

I go there to get ice cream most of the time they do make good ice cream. I personally like the bubblegum, just saying. the was a couple of times that I went for lunch or dinner and it took like 30-60 minutes (before covid) but I sm sure it's just me arriving on a not do good day when someone's ill and there where short staffed. But I am not sure the food was delicious and recommend going if you see it

Eaten here twice so far once in 2018 and this evening after the revamp . Both times it's been a delight . The food is well cooked and always served promptly. As a vegetarian I find the availability of options good but more importantly well thought out and not just some type of simple dish served with cheese the menu actually sparks interest for veggies and vegans. Desert is a must here... No photos of food because it wasn't around long enough to photo. Just delicious!

Excellent food and friendly staff. Took my wife, toddler and newborn baby for my wife’s birthday lunch. Very accommodating for our specific needs regarding a high chair and pram and they even offered to sing happy birthday too! We had pizzas which were very good but didn’t have time to try the huge selection of ice cream, maybe next time.

Pastas are delicious but portion sizes are disappointing, making the food well overpriced for what you get. We were a group of 4 and were all still hungry after eating, which is especially unusual for me as I'm not a big eater, and could easily have eaten a second bowl. Great service but if you are going to eat here, I would recommend going for a 3 course.

Food is amazing. Love all the options and of course the ice cream! Normally a great experience. Only marked down as the waitress had a real problem. Our food was thrown onto the table at us and we felt unwanted. Not sure why we got this treatment as we ordered plenty and even checked before ordering desert if we were ok for time. It was a shame as we had taken friends who we had told how great the place was and their experience wasnt great.

Very family friendly restaurant, the service was pretty fast considering how busy it was. The kids meals being brought out first was appreciated. The staff are friendly and professional. The restaurant is decorated nicely with nice furniture. The food is of a high standard with lots of interesting options as well as traditional ones. The ice cream is delicious as you would expect. The only negative was that the music was a bit loud for a Sunday lunch time, but that wasn't a huge deal. Edit: Sunday lunch music has been turned down so that's good.

Popped in for ice cream with family. Was my first time there. As dairy free I had a reduced choice. However they had 1 vegan selection and 2 sorbets so I wasn't left without. The flavour was nice and the surroundings we're nice. Not as amazing as friends had made it out to be. I can't comment about the restaurant as I've not been there.

I've visited here many times, however never once for an actual meal just for ice cream and milkshakes. The atmosphere in the place is great and is a very friendly shop. Have eaten at Luca's several times now and each time have asked the wife why we don't come more often. I guess the answer is that it's a bit out of the way but it is absolutely worth the visit. This is the best Italian in Dunfermline by far and the seafood is especially delicious and cooked to perfection.

Stopped in around 7:30pm on a sunny Sunday and bought 4 single cones and a single scoop in a tub. Bubblegum flavour for the kids, lemon sorbet and strawberry for the adults! Went down very nicely and was reasonably priced at £10.60. Only one couple in front of us in the queue when we arrived so didn't need to wait long and there were tables available but we opted to sit on the wall outside in the sun.Hand sanitising station at the entrance. Car park was about two thirds full so there were plenty of spaces when we arrived. Service was friendly and with a smile!

The set up is very good and spaced out well without feeling sparse. The staff were friendly and polite. The service from ordering to eating (or drinking) was quick and efficient. We had Spaghetti, pizza, veal and carbonara with garlic bread, fries and onion rings. All were very tasty, well presented and most importantly, hot. We were lucky enough to be treated to the meal by our family so don't know how the prices were but from what I remember seeing on the menu, it seemed around the £10 to £12 mark for most mains and £4.50 to £6.50 for starters. Very reasonable for the portions. One oddity is that they don't have a physical food menu for COVID reasons but have a physical menu for the drinks which seems a bit half hatted... That aside, it was our 1st visit since this changed to Luca's from The Wood Mill and we enjoyed it.

The restaurant is very light, clean and airy with wheelchair access. The menu is as expected for this type of restaurant. They have an extensive selection of ice cream to choose from. The staff are both very friendly and attentive, service is quick and the standard of food is excellent. Outside is neat and tidy, and there is ample of road parking. It is certainly worth a visit.

Great to be back in Luca's Kitchen for the first time in months as the Lockdown starts to ease a little. As always, we all enjoyed the food and we look forward to the full menu being reinstated. (Particularly the belly pork going back on the menu). Staff were cheerful and helpful and looked after us very well. Our only criticism, and it is a small one, is please don't put warm pudding and warm sauce onto a cold plate. As a positive criticism can you please set up the card machine to take tips, I haven't had cash in my pocket for nearly a year!

A good wee restaurant, the food was very good, the staff couldn't be anymore helpful as you would expect. Well priced for what you get. More importantly all Covid precautions are in place. The only down sides personally is there is only one beer on draught, were before Covid they had about 5. It can get a bit loud as customers are trying to talk over the loud background music. And there is no seating if you just want to go for a few drinks.

My prawn pasta had a good proportion of prawns to pasta. Not just 3 like you get at some restaurants. One of the best restaurants in Dunfermline. Good quality, good atmosphere, good price.

Service really exceptional and good prices. We enjoyed the food, which is mostly Italian. Good selection of delicious sundaes and icecreams. The crispy gnocchi is interesting and enjoyable, but note that it is exactly as described: a crispy and dry fried dish with chorizo (don't expect traditional boiled gnocchi with a sauce). This was our first visit and we'll certainly be back.

Reglar visitor of the restaurant over the years. They have changed a few times and certainly worth a trip following the most recent changes. They have added a great ice cream counter. The food in the restaurant is really good. Personally all about their burger/chicken burgers! And the mozzarella sticks should be called mozzarella LOGS! They are huge and genuinely fantastic. The staff are all friendly and well mannered. This is normally out local place of choice for me and my friends.

Pleasantly surprised with everything at the mill and grill food is very well priced for the quality and quantity. The service is outstanding which is rare these days. The only thing I’d say is the bar should be open later 10pm we could of sat in there longer drinking the good selection of alcohol.
