Absolutely amazing and I love a pizza this is up there with some of the best I’ve had. Staff was really friendly, the place is lovely and designed well. Prices are great for the quality of food you get. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. 2nd night here. Had lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs. Once again staff was so friendly and welcoming. Food was presented well and very hot. Tasted very good.

Lovely restaurant. Friendly welcoming staff. Good prices especially with the daytime offer. Nice setting and very clean. They also brought out a complimentary garlic bread for our table when we first arrived which was a nice touch. The only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5 is that the music lets it down. Pop music playing which spoils the atmosphere somewhat, would have been nice for some calmer more chilled music or better still some Italian music.

Fantastic meal with amazing service from the team! Food was full of flavour, fresh and visually appealing. Would happily return in the near future. Personally I recommend the chicken goujons starter, meat feast pizza and a chocolate fudge cake to finish. With regards to drinks there is a vast selection though I would recommend introducing a few cocktails to the menu. Service team were outstanding wouldn't be fair to give credit to a single team member.

What a Bargain for Sunday lunch we had 10 x 3 course Sunday day lunch with an extra 4 dishes off the menu and all with drinks for £180, we all loved it all especially the Lamb it was fabulous and the Turnip too I know it sounds peculiar but even those that normally wouldn't eat Turnip said it was lovely 😀, service was spot on and deserve a special mention, Thank you for a very beautiful meal, we will be back. Sorry no photos we were too busy lol 😆

Wonderful spacious Italian restaurant set in the old station building attached to the Travelodge. Has a wonderfully warm, bubbly atmosphere, the staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. We had the lunch special which runs from 12 until 5pm and was £6.95 for 3 big portion courses from a selection on the menu (a starter, a pasta or risotto and ice-cream or coffee) which is amazing value for money for what we had and the quality and taste was excellent. We also had a couple of large glasses of the house white wine (which was amazing) and were so pleased with it we had some red too. Has to be some of the best house wines I've ever had (you can see the white bottle in the pictures attached) They have a well stocked and reasonably priced bar to go with the great restaurant as well as specials boards for both mains an desert. Their main menu itself is also very well priced and there are some great dishes on it whichi I had the opportunity to try. I will definitely be coming back here if the wine and atmosphere wasnt enough (it is) then the food certainly is incentive enough and the value for money is excellent. 5 stars all round guys.

It's decent, no vegan options on the menu though so I just got chips (standard meal in a restaurant which doesn't cater for vegans) although I reckon the bruchetta would have been vegan but it wasn't highlighted on the menu with an icon. Everyone else who I was with enjoyed their food though so if your not as picky as me it's probably a much better rating 👍

We visited 06/09 for a family catch up. This was by far the best Sambuca's I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The staff were fantastic and generous. They truly went above and beyond. The food was absolutely fantastic and the portions were very well sized. There was a great choice on the menu. The restaurant was not cramped and there was plenty of space between tables. Everything was very clean. Its clear that the staff / owners are very passionate about perfection. The waiting staff were very nice and friendly with the children.

I've never had a bad meal here yet. The quality and quantity is amazing, especially considering how little you pay for the lunchtime and Sunday specials. The Sunday dinners are amazing and the portions plentiful - the garlic mushroom starter is a meal in itself! The staff are always friendly too and there's always a warm welcome.

Only reason for the four stars is the staff are not that polite.. But for date night it is a lovely place very hygienic and a all round nice environment to be in plus I had the most beautiful company with me. I would recommend the stake it was cooked to perfection. Good white wine selection we enjoyed the bottle we had with our meal that we took one home with us. All round a nice place and would deserve a five star if the staff where that little bit more thoughtful.

Lovely place really authentic, customer service was A* .Visited pretty much last minute arrangements for my daughters birthday but they accommodated us no problem . We were given complementary garlic breads and shots as well as they made a big fuss singing happy Birthday to her. Great atmosphere, great value for money and superb food. Been here twice now on a Sunday as they have a Sunday lunch offer of 3 courses for £10. There are 4 choices for starter I had the garlic mushrooms which were served on toast, great flavour and a good portion. We had belly pork/beef and lamb for mains and they were fantastic. Again, really tasty and good portions. We all ended with cheesecake and finished up very very full but hugely satisfied. Staff were attentive and not over bearing. At this value we will be back again soon.

There is a good selection of beers and wines available. Opening Hours are 12 to dinner. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. Good prices for the main items.

We stayed in the travel lodge last night and decided to come for dinner here before the drive home, the place is beautiful. The staff are very attentive and the food was unbelievable, the portion sizes where huge not what i was expecting at all for the lunch special. The food here brings me back again and again. Mainly Italian but the chefs experiment and produce some of the best sauces I've tasted anywhere in the world. Coupled with good fresh ingredients the results are dreams on a plate. Last Sunday my partner and I chose Salmon with King prawns and shrimps in a lobster based sauce. Absolutely blew me away. Our only problem is that we have so many favourites at LaPiazza that choosing becomes difficult, rich tomato sauces with polpetto, lemon based sauces with pasta parcels the list goes on, all beautifully presented and generous proportions. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the prices are reasonable, I could go on. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

Was a ok place for a quick cheap meal after a day traveling up from london. The black pudding with pork belly starter was the best bit. Had dough balls to but they were very hard. Also has the calzone pizza but for me the outside needed to be darker and needed a salsa or sauce on the side with it as the one inside was not enough and the cheese over powered it. Excellent. 3 course Sunday lunch for £8.95. Myself and my partner had the garlic mushroom starter - a big pile of juicy mushrooms set on a decent doorstop of toasted ciabatta,fantastic! For main I had the belly pork, my partner the lamb. There was an abundance of lamb on Tracys' plate, and a lovely big piece of slow cooked pork belly on mine. The usual Sunday lunch accompaniments were all cooked to perfection, and the table service was excellent. We didn't stay for dessert ; the first two courses were more than enough. This is an absolute bargain for £8.95 and comes highly recommended😊

It's changed hands a few times since then but lost it's personality and friendliness over that time...
