Very good taste and price. Absolutely friendly waiters will be waiting for you there. For those who don’t eat pork you have to know all the beef sauce is mixed with pork so I couldn’t try the lasagna or the polonaise.

Ordered king prawns for starters and spaghetti bolognese as my main meal. These came out okay but the size of the main meal felt rather small. Their cocktail was equally nice. However, their gents was abit far off and could do with some uplifts expecially with the crowd visiting. Experience was okay and might just visit again.

To be honest, it's a well-known Italian chain and I don't understand why. Paata was overcooked and sauce was bland. Pizzas are not very good either. The prawn arancini were OK although too small.

The atmosphere is nice, the place looks really good and the staff was friendly. The pizza we ordered was also delicious. We had Pinsa, that's simply just Pizza with "a bigger thicker, crispier base". We ordered the Queen Margherita for £12.99 and the Pollo Pancetta for £13.99 and even got water for free. Although it was really good, it was quite expensive. There are good alternatives only a few minutes away for half the price. We were a group of six and just shared the money, so it's not a big deal.

Nice family friendly Italian reataurant, with friendly service. The prices are descent and the portions are more than enough. There is a good variety of pasta but check which are or not available. The house red wine is OK for a regular meal. The toilets are clean enough and the service is fast, considering it was fairly busy when we visited. All in all an OK expeirence for an Italian.

Had a relaxing and amazing time with my family. The food was great (mains too big though and carbonara could have used a little more sauce). Perfectly fine for a quick meal - we had 3 courses in about an hour and half. The spag bol barely had any sauce on it, but my husband's pizza was good, and for the starters there wasn't tonnes of flavour in the creamy mushrooms, and the garlic butter was more like oil. The best part of the meal was the desserts. We used the taste card and got 3 courses each, a side to share, and a soft drink each for £35 which is really good. The staff were nice too.

The hotel was crowded as usual. I would recommend booking before you go there. The foods were not spicy which is exactly the same you expect from an Italian cuisine filled with breads cheese etc. Four members and one child costed around 110£ with five starter and five main dish and five drinks (mocktail n coffee) I prefer hot and spicy food so I don't like the Italian cuisine in general but my wife n others liked it. The chairs and toilets can definitely improve as they old fashioned and untidy. Reducing a star since there is scope for improvement in the hotel

I was very disappointed about the main dish (spaghetti with seafood) because it was quite under seasoned so that I tasted no flavor. The quality of the ingredients and raw materials were nice, though. The cheesecake was delicious, by the way. The crunchy sugar (I don’t know the right name of it) added a great texture to this dessert.

The restaurant serves typical Italian dishes. You may like to read the description if you are not familiar with the italian names. The restaurant sits conveniently at the Royal Mile. If you get lucky you may get a seat next to the panorama windows.

We have often visited this chain and they always deliver on choice and quality.. the staff were extremely friendly and our selections of lasagne and the duck with pasta were delicious my duck could have been warmer hence only 4stars but this won't deter me from visiting Bella Itallia again (mostly in York.!) 😋

Bella Italia is a really cool Italian restaurant with very enthusiastic staff! The menu offers a lot for normal prices and the portions are big so don’t worry if you’re a big eater. The quality of the food could be better but is fine for the average customer. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and cozy at the same time. The food was delicious but I put 3 stars because of a female waitress. We asked her if the dessert has alcohol inside as we don't drink it all. We asked her twice and she told us that it's clear. So, we ordered tiramisu on her words! Then we got suspicious and asked her for a third time. Surprisingly her friend told us that it has alcohol!!! It is really awful to be careless waitre 🙁.

This restaurant is very busy, busy and a little different to one maybe in a smaller city or town. We had the meatballs and Calamari, Pollo Funghi Pasta and Gamberoni. It's a great place, centrally located and super service. The food was unique and tasty (a Scottish twist) but could have been a bit more spicier. They have a huge pepper crusher which is the size of a table :) I had the 3 course Christmas dinner for £28. There is a toilet in the basement.

Strategic location, crowded but still very tasty. Their meatballs are very good. Pizza is so yummy. Waitre is friendly. Of course no problem to expect big tips. Strongly recommend for this. Minus : During payment, is a bit weird when the waitre has to say word about hope for tips, as this is usual in other many restaurants for customers to add tips without being asked. Restrooms are downstairs, 2 level down, bit spooky. One of the urinal is clogged in man's restroom.

The food is good though the tables and seats are situated in ways that make it feel cramped. Once you step into the entrance, both sides are flanked by a low wall, massing ingress tight which can give a bad first impression. That cramped first impression lasts all the way through seating and eating. The food we had was fresh and flavorful but nothing amazing.

The middle two seater table in the ground level is not ideally placed, right in the middle of people walking around you, not good if you're trying to get some peace...

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful p and attentive to the needs of my group. The food was also served in very good time, and was lovely. The only thing I would suggest to the kitchen staff is to put a bit more sauce on the main courses, which were very tasty! However, it was overall a very enjoyable experience to have lunch in this restaurant, and I highly recommend it to both sighted and sight-impaired visitors! Thanks! :D

The food was okay, not great. If you're hungry for Italian you should head down to Grassmarket Square. The staff however were very professional and pleasant. The coffee is good, as you would expect from an Italian restaurant.
