Excellent, cozy restaurant. I'm not an Italian food expert, but my Spaghetti Bolognese was outstanding as we the Chocolate Delight dessert. Well priced, right across from Queen's Hall. Reservations definitely needed especially on weekend.

Been here now on for 4 different occasions and can't fault it...once with a girlfriend during the festival and on 2 nights out,always good. Had my retirement night out here, and I was well looked after,food good as is the service.

Our group's favorite find in Edinburgh! Rigatoni's was a short walk from where we were staying at Pollock Halls and it was so good that I ate here twice during my week in Edinburgh (some of my friends came here four times!). Highly recommend the garlic mozzarella focaccia as a starter, but the cheesy garlic bread is great too (pictured). The focaccia will melt in your mouth and it's to die for. You really can't go wrong with any of the pastas here either! At Rigatoni's, you come for the good food but you'll stay for the family that runs this place. The owner and his wife are usually here, and their children are usually working as wait staff or in the kitchen. They're the most lovely people!

Friendly staff, good quality, tasty food, and my son loved the mint ice cream. We had to go back again, just so he could have another one! The restaurant is small as they also do take-away, so bear that in mind if you want to eat in. It's more functional than romantic, but felt clean and cheerful.

We managed to get a table whilst waiting for a show at the Queen's Hall. Fantastic friendly service, and great food at very reasonable prices (had one of the best risottos I've ever had). Excellent value for money. One bit of advice, book ahead! This place is very popular, and I can completely understand why!

I've been in Edinburgh just under a week and eaten quite a few places. Rigatoni's was far and away the best! Great italian food at a fair price. But, the best part was the atmosphere, the owner/host of this family owned restaurant was amazing and made me and my wife feel so very welcome. The music was spot on and matched the energy of the whole place. We left with big smiles and will definitely be returning the same way when we go back.

It's just an OK place where you are not rightly addressed by the owner (I suppose, if he is the owner) and though you can see empty tables inside you will not be welcomed and neither he will ask you politely for wait. Rest pizzas were OK not great, so that's what the story is :-)

Great meal, excellent service and enthusiastic 'mushroom' chat! Needed a pre-theatre bite in haste, having just travelled from Glasgow. Rigatoni's was perfect. Thank you so much for the delicious condiment; looking forward to my next risotto +++ :) Hope next season is every bit as productive. The only shame was we were too late for post theatre coffee and cake :(

Excellent family-run South Italian restaurant with great food, good wine and friendly attentive service. This place has a great vibe and there was a real sense they wanted you to enjoy your evening. I'd really recommend it. Magic!

Guys If you have the chance, try the Rigatoni's pizza and you'll travel no matter Covid 19, it's a REAL PLEASURE! The people who run it are lovely, great workers, and the products are so nice. It wouldnt be Saturday without a Rigatoni's Pizza!

tl;dr: Delicious, I highly recommend. Large choice of dishes, especially pasta, risotto and pizza, and drinks. You can take some foccacia as a starter. Though the unusual shape (more like a pizza bread rather than a thick bread), it was delicious. Pizza are large and feed you well. The restaurant is not expensive and the personnel is very nice.

Tried this restaurant last night, nobody in when we arrived we were allocated a very small table in the middle off the very small restaurant, myself and my brother are very tall so it wasn’t exactly comfortable, I had to hang my coat on the back off my chair which was all okay not perfect but it was what it was , then people started arriving and we were surrounded by what I presume were regulars . The owner then started performing to them going past us numerous times trampled over my coat had to keep in mind he was passing us all the time while shouting at all the customers couldn’t hear yourself think, very unprofessional all and all would say this is average food and more likely a cafe not a restaurant what so ever.

Probably the best place for Italian pasta in Edinburgh. Pizza average (still better than what some other british restaurants try to sell you as "Italian" pizza). For Italian pizza I recommend Pizzeria 1926 on Haymarket instead. Owner quite racist and overwhelming. It's impossible to have a chat with each other without him commenting everything and making jokes.

This place is incredible, I have to say that the pasta and garlic bread for me has to be the best nosh I have had for a while . My fav was the penne picannte , x hot . As I have a pallet for hot spicy food , I have to say that I give the Rigatonis a 5 star , an exelance in great food and a very friendly , family run restaurant. Italy 🇮🇹 is the home of comfort food, with filling portions and rich flavours characterising the nation’s cuisine.
