Ordered online for takeaway, and it was really easy. Great menu. Delicious food! The pizza had a wonderful thin, crusty, crispy base and the toppings were generous, savoury and a beautiful combination of flavours.

Wonderful find! Hankered for pizza but didn’t want to venture far - 4mins away from hotel - wasn’t expecting much but was amazed. White pizza on thin base - the smell was amazing and the taste even more so - unusual to find white pizza for takeaway so really liked this one! Will take away again when next back in Edinburgh! Friendly staff when I picked it up! 🙌🏽

They focus on a simple menu of wonderful authentic pizzas and a couple of desserts. Everything is as good as I could get at home in Rome, I’m homesick just smelling the box! The trevi and the bignè (profiteroles) are to die for.

Stumbled upon this place when we were nearly out of options before we got back to our hotel nearby, great salami pizza and tomato garlic bread, the base was so good and topping just enough so it wasn't going sloppy, if I stop in Edinburgh again I would hunt down this place, fast service as well

Just discovered this place this week and I couldn't be happier. So far I've had the calzone piaza di spagna (ham & mushrooms) and the 12" capella sistina (black olives, ham, mushrooms & artichokes). Both were excellent, they've clearly made an effort to use the best possible ingredients, which are used in perfect balance, the result is a perfect italian style pizza. I really like the fact that they've chosen to focus on doing one thing and making sure to do it to perfection. Great value as well, £9.00 for a very filling 12" pizza can't be beat.

I'm from Rome, and finally there's a shop making the roman style pizza. It was amazing, the dough was really tasty and you could feel that all the ingredients where fresh and high quality. The owners let you feel like at home, they are really kind and polite and very prepared describing you all the products they are selling. Go and eat, you won't regret!

One of the best discoveries I've made since living here. Roman Pizza Project serves the best al taglio pizza I've ever had outside of Rome and genuinely some of the best pizza I've had in general. Now they are starting al tonda and opening later I can't wait to try them. If you love pizza try it, I cannot stress this enough!

Best pizza in Edinburgh, not going to buy any other pizza. Edit 1 year later, October 2022: hadn't been able to get pizza from this place in the last year due to moving to South Edinburgh. Went there a few days ago, and it's now totally different. Maybe they have a new management or just changed the recipe? What I can say is that I definitely won't go back as it was very similar to pizza you can find in many other places at half the price.

I live back here, I'm new in the city and after 10 days I felt the need to eat pizza 🍕 😊 everything was normal in short 😅 and since I was feeling particularly out of sorts I couldn't resist ordering dessert too, tiramisu! I saw the excellent reviews (and I can only confirm them), I know Lochman for example through YouTube, and with just one word below, he convinced me! Next time I'll come and visit you in person 😊 the pizza reminded me of a pizza I ate when I was little, I took a trip back in time! I also like pizza with a high edge, but now they only make that everywhere, instead a crispy edge is needed every now and then, more digestible among other things 😊 and what about tiramisu?? I still have a little piece in front of me that I'm sorry to finish 😂 see you soon guys!!! And thank you 😍

A must visit for pizza lovers. I had an aubergine pizza and it was freshly cooked with very good quality ingredients. It was excellent and Francesco and Laura are very nice and friendly. Finally very good value for money. I highly recommend.
