Reviews of Celino's
Z.
Style and feeling home effect, great service excellent food. Decoration is unique and the combination of eat in and quality goods to take away is interesting.
Italian meat products and more and
I would love to have a business this quality .
Toilets exceptional, and all around clean restaurant.
F. F.
Cracking breakfast and a great shop/deli with lots on offer. Nicely laid out and great staff. Good value and would be nice for a good breakfast or dinner.
c. K.
Nice location, very pretty, nice staff and very clean. Great choice of food. And great cake selection for takeaway.

I was delighted to see that Celinos West End (the best one),still had its Christmas vibe going on.I am reliably informed that Christmas doesn’t finish until January 8 - so it’s still Christmas y’all. I picked up three different types of Italian sausage: fennel, chilli and regular pork;some parmigiano and gluten-free pasta The RUMMO pasta is probably one, if not the best gluten-free option available.. the Italian ones tend to be better, although it is terribly overpriced at almost 4 quid for mezze penne. ( £2 online).I find that gluten-free pasta once al dente doesn’t give you much room for failure. I cooked it in salt and a little lemon juice, no oil ..lemon just seems to break up the starch or at least prevents the pasta from sticking. The sugo is also from celinos. I wanted to try as on a previous visit, I thought it tasted somewhat “bought-in”but this was the real deal and delicious. All i added was some parmigiana and a little basil. Had i not received some Christmas vouchers I would have been more frugal in my spend. I chose to give it four stars because you get what you pay for: it’s very good but expensive - but in these difficult times the prices are definitely competitive but still overpriced I was going to give it 3 stars but it is Christmas after all. If you wanted to prop up your larder with some reasonably priced items and perhaps one or two from the deli it wouldn’t break the bank I spent almost £100 having said that I will get about 30 portions of Ragu from the Italian sausage since this expensive visit was covered by vouchers it was a good deal

One of my all time favourites! Love the seafood, it’s always fresh and well flavoured. Positive atmosphere and vibes.
K. K.
One of the best pizzas in Glasgow, great risotto and pastas. A must on anyone's list for Italian food in Glasgow. Please plan ahead and make a reservation ahead as they get quite busy on the weekends.
Z. Z.
Well, I've been particularly craving Italian food lately, especially Risotto, so I went to Celino‘s Partick that is a hot restaurant every time I pass by and ordered a vegetarian risotto.
The risotto was moderate, and the staff were busy, kept asking if we had finished eating and waited a while for the bill.
J. _.
Ordered a regular Cappuccino and when i received it got something that was absolutely massive which was at least double the size of what should be a regular Cappuccino. In addition, I would struggle even calling it a cappuccino considering that the ratios were completely off and it both looked and tasted more like a latte, there was hardly any espresso and form in it compared to the amount of milk in it which just diluted the overall taste. Overall, not a great experience and there are way better places for a cappuccino just a minutes walk away.
J. B.
Arrived without a booking but this wasn't an issue. Waiter sorted us out with the 'best table in the house' which turned out to be true. Great food and the deli has a tremendous range of Italian goods.
E.
The best cocktails in town!! We had the opportunity to taste the most authentic Aperol Spritz and Amaretto sour 🍹🥃 The bartender, Mattia was phenomenal! He was professional and friendly, his suggestions were great. We will definitely visit Celinos again 🇮🇹
D. C.
The sort of place I love. Great variety of savoury and sweet items. Delicious coffee. Being the first time I've been in I wanted to stay and check everything out. Tried the macaroni balls and strawberry tart. Delicious. Looking forward to eating in next time.
m. w.
Amazing Italian deli/restaurant serving a hand made breakfast on to a fabulous evening meal and everything in between. Staff are first class and friendly. They sell amazing cake and pizza to take home too. One of my favourite places.
M. G.
Great atmosphere, attending staff.
Sam dishes better than others.
R. M.
Meal and service both were excellent. However, a couple beside us were vaping and staff didn't challenge this behaviour which is unfortunate on my first visit.
Service to the table was excellent and the servers were very polite.
Food was served promptly and was of a high quality. I would definitely return.
C. G.
I've been here twice now, once with my partner and once by myself. The food is spectacular, especially the pasta. I also really loved my tiramisu. My partner had a veggie pizza and enjoyed it thoroughly as well. My favorite Italian spot in Glasgow!
I also appreciate that everyone that works there seems to have great knowledge of the entire menu, including the wine list, which can be intimidating at first glance.
C. M.
Good food, great vibe and lovely staff.
I had pizza which was full of flavour. My preference is for a thin and crispy base and the pizza was more on the chunky side, but my friend loves her pizza like this - so personal taste!
The deli is amazing too.
C. G.
Always great coming here whenever in Glasgow. Food is cooked perfectly and the pizzas are amazing. Fresh dough and fresh toppings. Calzone is really well filled and tasty.
Friendly staff and the dessert counter is fantastic. Highly recommended for Italian food in Glasgow but booking is recommended!
A. M.
It's ok for a quick bite to eat although did seem very popular and reasonably busy. Menu choice was good and simple pasta was delivered fairly quickly. Seating/table left a little to be desired but I was in no mood to argue as we had not made a reservation.
s. w.
Really lovely authentic Italian meals. I'd say it was the best Calamari starter I've had outside of Italy. Best in Glasgow for sure. Four of us having a 3 courser and drinks was superb. Only wee tiny thing was we felt a bit rushed at the end as there was a big party coming in. But as a restaurant it was top notch and try it out. Well worth it . Think it's overtaken La Lanterna for me !! Will be back.
J. S.
I've been several times and it's always fabulous. Food is authentic Italian cuisine. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The deli is fantastic with a huge selection of produce
J.
Take away a calzone & tiramisu.
Calzone is nice and tiramisu is okay.
C. s.
Always great food! And I love discovering new wines to try on their wine menu, then buying a bottle.at their deli to have it at home with friends! Lovely family friendly place
M. C.
Brilliant, great service and amazing food as always. We had items off the chef's special menu, uploaded some photos
L. A.
Food was amazing...staff are lovely..
A. M.
I had Sunday lunch there, the pizza size was generous. Walked in and didn't have a table, was accommodated even though it was super busy. Enjoyed myself thoroughly. Pleasant wait staff and servers and front office staff.
M. A.
Lovely food and atmosphere but as a few reviews have noted, rude staff! My friend and I asked for 2 drinks of the same and were only bought one (which was initially wrong) . When we politelt pointed this out she snapped that she was just bringing what was on the receipt and would bring another. We then waited for well over 10 minutes and didn't get what we'd ordered til asking another member of staff. Disappointing
H. B.
This visit was a wonderful treat. Pros snd cons.
Pros, everything, service, food, menu bonhomie amongst everybody, both guests and staff.
The deli, fabulous, second to none.
Cons - none.
A must visit!
Wheelchair access good.
J. J.
This is a typical Italian restaurant with the usual fare. There was not much sausage in my dish. Don't think I would return.
A. S.
Great food, fantastic staff and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended 👌
M. “.
Breakfast was delicious, eggs Royale with lashing of hollandaise sauce.
Coffees beautiful and have a selection of milks. I’ve had to go diary free for a month and so my oat milk cappuccino was perfect.
Didn’t have time to shop in their deli but I will once I return to Glasgow.
B. F.
This place is now one of my favourites in the west end. The layout and decor is beautifully designed, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The menu had a great variety and the weekend specials were great value. The food was mouthwatering, and delicious. One of the best chicken caesar salads I've had with the anchovies being very fresh and not salty at all. I'd been to other Italian places where they gave a small sample of their bread with some olive oil as a complimentary starter and I think they could have done something similar in this place too. However, it did not detract from the experience at all, and I was impressed with how it was presented and tasted. Highly recommended.
A. H.
4 of us went for lunch on Sunday - had booked in advance as this restaurant is always busy.
This was my second time eating at Celino's west end, and unfortunately the food wasn't nearly as good as the first time.
I had Filetto (pan fried strips of fillet steak with cherry tomatoes in a white wine, chili, garlic and tomato sauce). The sauce and pasta were very nice, but the fillet steak was tough - it tasted as if it had been in the sauce for hours rather than being freshly cooked.
My partner had Gamberoni (pan fried king prawns and cherry tomatoes in a chili, garlic and white wine sauce). Again, the prawns were tough as if they too had been in the sauce for hours.
Deserts were disappointing. I had pavlova which looked nice but the strawberries on it were cold and tasteless. The cannoli was more rock hard than crisp and very difficult to eat.
Wine wasn't properly chilled and we had to ask for ice to cool it down in the glasses!
The staff however were lovely, very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was bustling and full of festive cheer.
I just think for £125+ for 4 people the standard of food should have been better.
E. M.
Doughnuts and arancini are gorgeous. I keep coming back for them! I've also bought spices from here before and the deli looks like it has some great cheese, salads, meats etc.
My only negative is I wasn't super impressed with the coffee.
j. h.
Not a great fan of Italian restaurants due to pricing of pasta and wine, but Celinos has changed my outlook. 3 courses of very good quality and bottle of excellent wine for £58; hard to say no.
T. T.
Place nice, it's was busy-ish (Sunday AM) but not full, but service very slow, mushrooms and beans cold, rest of breakfast nice, coffee good. I suspect this was a one off but having been looking forward to this visit it was a real shame.
D. T.
This place is awesome, the service is exceptional and the food is superb.
My favourite place to eat.
D. K.
Have to admit, I am biased, because I went to the celinos on alexandra parade for years. This isn't, perhaps, the finest Italian cuisine, but the food is really good, and good value. The service when we visited recently really was excellent, as you may expect in what feels like a family run business. Nice deli too, with quality deli produce.
F. R.
Often very busy. We were in for late lunch. We had the Pate and then lasagne. Both were a good portion. The wine is pricey.
A. H.
Such elegant surroundings lovely atmosphere. But 9.50 for a breakfast which works out at 1.50 an item, I'd expect dancing girls and circus performers. Food good though. Staff can be a little forgetful but always nice and polite.
D. F.
Good food, lovely staff, value for money and lovely surroundings. Always worth a return visit.
B. F.
Friendly, excellent food....only one thing...I was a wee bit cold.
eventing else was great... poached eggs just perfect!
s. w.
I had a great night at celinos. The staff here is very nice (mostly Italian). The interior is very creative and nice to look at. The food is delicious. They just need a pinch of salt and the vegetarian lasagne could have had a bit more taste but overall very tasty. We paid 100£ for 4 people including 2 drinks each and olives as a starter
D. M.
Celinos partick is a lovely authentic Italian restaurant, food shop and deli. From fresh hand stretched pizza, amazing pasta and cakes tht make your mouth water. Highly recommend both their Glasgow stores.
I. G.
Awesome place. Top class service and the food was tremendous over three courses.
The deli was excellent and made the place stand out, as we talked about buying all the ingredients to make what we ate, at home.
d. d.
Out for lunch. What a nice relaxing experience. Very attentive staff. Outstanding food.. l
J. I.
Fabulous eaterie. Food was fresh. Staff very helpful. Delicatessen looked very inviting. Well done
A. K.
As starters we ordered Arancinis and a prawn bruschetta, both were excellent! Special compliments to the brioche bread! As a main we
ate salciccia calzone and a mellanzana parmigiana both delicious! The dishes were very hot: a good thing. Friendly staff, but sometimes too friendly haha... but it was great! I loved it, definitely coming back for some great quality Italian food
A. N.
Vast selection of dishes on the menu & food is delicious. Staff are very polite & service is quick. Can be very busy & a little noisy at times. Our last table (for 2) was in the middle of an aisle with not a lot of space on either side of us. We kept being bumped by staff serving other tables & customers walking by. I would ask for a booth next time. There is now a coffee stand & seating within the premises which we might try next time.
A. D.
Met up with an Old Friend I haven't seen for 5 years. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere.
R. S.
Really friendly staff with a good menu choice and a good busy vibe. The menu is very Italian with lots of choice and there is also a good range of things for the kids to choose from. If you are still hungry at the end of your meal there is also a deli counter with a wide range of products to buy.
PS remember to book - it can get very busy.
C. B.
Had our 6th wedding anniversary lunch here. Really nice proper Italian food. Glad we made the choice to walk there from the centre.
W. H.
Celino's was lovely. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy, authentic and welcoming. The menu was a good mix of pastas, salads, pizza's, calzones and meats. We ordered the smorgasbord with types of Italian meats from the in-store deli as well as breads, olives and oils/balsamic. It was delicious. Enough for 2 to share but it is meant for 1. We had a couple sides of mixed olives, garlic bread and cheese and chips. For the main I had the Filletto penne pasta which was delicious. Packed full of flavours with rich tomatoes and garlic, steak was beautifully cooked also. My friend had the Misto De Carne calzone which he said was amazing! My son had the kids margarita pizza which was a very decent size for a kids pizza approx 10". They have a little shop at the front of the restaurant which sells pretty much everything they use in the restaurant and have fantastic 'Celino's at home' kits you can take home. Also they do take away and even if you can't finish what's on your plate they'll box it up for you. Service was great too and they were super helpful. I will definitely be back.
S.
5 stars for Celino's. Before this visit I'd only ever been in the deli which its self is great.
This restaurant feels like a lovely family italian. You feel welcomed and the staff are just great at their job. The food is exactly what you want from a place like this they get hearty italian comfort food absolutely bang on.
C. B.
Love their pasta, but we finally went for breakfast yesterday and I had the best scrambled eggs I've ever had in Glasgow. Creamy, well seasoned. And the potato scone and Italian sausage were also brilliant. Service is always top notch and I love grabbing a few things at the attached market.
G. B.
Great choice of food in the deli including ice cream to take away. Restaurant with attentive staff. Food tends to be quite salty! It's Italian, so families/kids welcomed!
H. M.
Very reasonable lunch menu! Delious food of a very high standard. Staff friendly and attentive without being overly so. Would highly recommend you try this place out.
J. M.
Went for lunch. Really good food and service. I only gave 4 stars because the tables are very close and it was so full you had to shout over the noise to have a conversation. Not really their fault if they are so popular. We had the set meal menu - limited but good.
M. N.
Service was great, food was also great! A tad expensive but the portions are big. One of the best bruschetta I've ever had but I've found the tiramisu to have too much cream and not enough coffee/sponge which made it quite bland. Very extensive wine list, unlike a lot of places in Glasgow.
S. M.
Staff couldn't be more attentive great place, very relaxed atmosphere. Lovely food. Wanted to purchase from the deli shop as it all looked tremendous. Definitely needs a revisit ❤️
N. P. K.
I had to be rolled out of the establishment. Eyes bigger than my belly. Literally had pains from eating too much. Everything was to die for.
J. D.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Deli is beautiful.
However paying extra supplement on fixed menu for prawns is disappointing, considering there were 4 prawns.
S.
Went for lunch absolutely gorgeous inside the menu had a great selection had the chicken risotto couldn't fault it it was perfect. The strawberry daiquiri was equally good the staff were very attentive couldn't have been nicer well deserved 5☆☆☆☆☆will definitely pop in next time I'm in Partick🥰
P. S.
Very good italian restaurant, one of the best around West End. The atmosphere is very friendly just like the staff. Plenty of options ranging from pasta, antipasti, pizza, seafood and more, I really enjoyed the homemade pasta. Also a lot of desserts. The prizes are excellent and the amount of food is plenty. You can also buy certain delicacies. Highly recommended.
V. S.
Beautiful looking place.
Pizza was okay.
Staff were too keen to close up as we got in at 9.15.
If you're open till 10 then take orders till that time but don't rush CUSTOMERS.
I. R. S.
Superb food, friendly service and fabulous aromas when you enter, a great experience!
N. Y.
Haven't sat down for a meal but I use the deli a lot and the grub over the counter hits the spot. They also have a huge range of Italian meats,.pasta, wine 👍😁
T. R.
Served by Jonny, very friendly attitude and helped me pick the correct quantity of Guanciale for a l'autentica spaghetti carbonara thanks Jonny!
Brilliant place, helpful staff and a ton of items in the deli. Well good !! :)
G. F.
Excellent food and service good buoyant atmosphere and reasonable prices. Recommend for top italian food and the deli is a great extra.
R. T.
I been in celinos in east end this one is so big kids pizza my grandson Noah loved it and the the bit chocolate cake my daughter Candice was massive she loved it brilliant service 20 out 10
C. C.
Love Celinos , great staff, food devine . But cocktails need better attention . Malt whishey is not bourbon and pina coladas not great but will keep returning because everything else is great
c. c.
Lovely restaurant with a fantastic built in authentic Italian Market with loads of fresh produce and wines! Food was delicious and service was good!
B. M.
Excellent food. Service very good and surroundings authentic Italian.
P. B.
Good food, service was not too bad, asked for a second pint of Coke, did not recieve, but apart from that everything was brilliant.
K. J.
Absolutely love everything about this place. 5 star all day long 👌🏻
J. G.
The pizza here is very authentic and delicious as well as the cheese and salami‘s and olives on the starting platters were delicious!
S. T.

Great Birthday lunch for my 3 year old twin Grandchildren . Staff and food were excellent.
E. T.
First time eating in Celino at Patrick it was lovely. Great atmosphere and service. Of course the food was amazing !!!!!
J. D.
Very good food with decent service and atmosphere.
I. A.
It is a nice place to take family or friends for nice, occasion, Food was delicious great service
See you soon
L. D.
Wonderful tasty food and hosts are friendly and offer advice on foods if requested .
B. C.
'Deli' section has nice choice, well presented. A little over priced but understandable given the import costs. Was more impressed with the Restaurant section this time, with a lovely carbonara. Won't leave it so long to return now
I. G.
Delicious but pricey. I absolutely love this place. Had a cracking lunch sitting in the other day and frequently stop by the deli. Particularly enjoy the take away cakes and the arrancini. Also that they have about five different tomatoes in various forms to take home. Must be about eight types of olives. It really is far too easy to spend a fortune in there, but I keep going back - so it must be worth it. But word of warning, don't go in hungry!!!!
I. G.
Ice cream from here is really nice. Purposefully sought it out when I was in the area yesterday and definitely worth it. All the food from here looks so fresh!
R. T.
Always enjoy this place. Great tasting food always. Take out this time and stayed hot after self collection. Need to book early to get a table as it always busy. 5 star from us.
E. C.
Delicious pasta and snacks.
E. Z.
Lovely food and atmosphere! Apart from restaurant they also have a deli part where you can buy coffee and get food for breakfast and lunch. One of my fav places for coffee 😁
A. G.
A great place for meeting up with friends. Quiet large and yet intimate at the same time.
D. M.
Lovely place, first visit, birthday treat for my sister in law. Great menu, wine is a little expensive but hey it was her birthday after all. Loved the minestrone soup. Only drawback was that they had no non alcoholic beer. Would have been nice as I was the designated driver.
M. A.
There is a lot to love about Celino's. The staff are friendly and organised, attentive but not overbearing. The food is first class and very reasonably priced. The delicatessen is well stocked and always very tempting.
I've had several good meals here, I've enjoyed every one of them. There are few good restaurants who focus so much on the food and experience without over doing it.
My meals have been pasta or pizza dishes - they are simple dishes packed with flavour. The Diavola pizza was first class.
I'd highly recommend it for family events. The staff will take good care of your guests and you will feel most welcome.
D. B.
Fantastic food offering covering a deli packed with delights and a restaurant of the highest quality
D. M.
My wife and I joined our son and his partner on Sunday last and we enjoyed a fabulous dinner with you. The food Wass delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. The decor in the restaurant is lovely and we really enjoyed the dinner. We'll done - 10/10! 😁
t. n.
Popular as always with plenty customers. This time the food didn't really reach the levels of previous visits - and to be honest it was just loud and average. Still the best delicatessen but the food was lacking.
H. F.
The atmosphere, the fresh produce on offer on the way in, the attentive staff, the variety and taste of the food and even the toliets. Everything here was pretty dam wonderful. I enjoyed my veggie lasagna so much that I'm already longing to have it again. Unfortunately this won't be possible for which a while as I live in Eastbourne and this fantastic Italian restaurant is in Partick Glasgow.
J. S.
Phenomenal food, Phenomenal service, an absolute joy. Most incredible interior and will definitely be back to buy some stuff from the Bistro!
s. 6.
The food is brilliant and there deli is unbelievable so good
C. S.
Fantastic food and experience, the staff are friendly and helpful
S. T.
Fantastic experience - had a sit in meal for two - took home a couple of meals from the deli section - outstanding
S. M.
Pricey but nicey. Felt cramped in the restaurant to be honest. Food was good but a bit too expensive.
C. F.
Superb restaurant and delhi. The seafood stew was fresh and delicious and generous portions of everything. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.
M. D.
Great food, great service & lovely restaurant. It was the Partick restaurant that I visited last week. The staff were lovely.
M. R. E.
Lovely grub..good atmosphere….friendly staff😀what more do you need👌
M. M.
Celino's is a place we love to visit when we are in the area. First class breakfast and more importantly first class service from all staff from setting a table and taking our orders. Even from not having booked a table we've always felt staff will do their best with a smile to help you out. A place I've recommended to other's about it.
F. N.
Lovely atmosphere, good service, tasty food.
G. C.
Always a joy to visit. Pasta is scrumptious. Very large and adequate wine list. Staff always lovely and attentive. I go often for both dinner and lunch. Never regretted it.
J. M.
Great breakfast, lovely staff, very reasonable price, fantastic atmosphere
D. W.
Always fantastic..Food staff perfect.. Atmosphere superb
A. L.
Superb. Excellent service, from the greeter to the waitering staff; courteous, friendly, helpful. The food is divine; well prepared and very well presented, with generously ample portions. But leave room for desert, the ice cream is to die for.
The entrance combines a foyer with a shop, for take-away dining, and the sale of cakes, patisseries, pizza, etc. You'll enter telling yourself you must buy this or that when leaving.... you won't, when you roll yourself out the door - the portions are that generous!
Lovely atmosphere, simple yet extravagant decor. Book well in advance, it is deservedly popular.
Highly recommended, and I can't wait to return! 6 stars out of 5!! Thank you for providing the perfect evening out for my partner and I!
N. H.
Staff: Really friendly, the place is always busy so they might ignore you sometimes
Food: Good and spacial, rich taste with nice portions, Food waiting time is fairly long
Price: on a pricier side but acceptable ~£13/dish
Tip: 1. Reserve a table and dont be late
2. Go for lunch / pre dinner menu for a cheaper price
M. B.
Lovely food and friendly atmosphere. One of the best Italian restaurants in town.
W. G.
Went in for breakfast with family and grandson, the staff get bonus points for making a fuss of grandson ,and food was great will be back .
E. N.
One of the best pasta places in Glasgow, highly recommended. Great family place and I had a lovely time with a friend!
M. M.
Disappointed visit today ..for second time in a row food was far too salty ! Last time it was my dish, so I just chose pizza this time but my husbands polpette was far too salty so he couldn't finish it.
I now wish we had complained after his first mouthful.
What's happened to the place ? We used to love it ☹️
s. m.
Great wee place which I'll definitely be making a regular return to
E. Z.
We had only 1.5h time slot and have been asked to free the table as next clients with reservation are waiting. It was really disappointing as we were not able to order the ice-cream and the coffee we wanted to finish our dinner.
A. N.
Gluten free pasta with prawns - prawns were bland and didn't seem to have any marinade or seasoning. The pasta was oily. Disappointing and unimaginative cooking, but the adjacent shop looked much more promising! I wouldnt go back, but hope others have a different experience!
B. H.
Food was excellent, great service. Just what we wanted for our Daughters Graduation dinner.
B. D.
Excellent food as always
D. M.
Normally good service unfortunately today our anniversary and wanting to get on to our next venue, we have been sitting waiting for over half an hour waiting to be seen by our waiter to finish of our meal with a sweet. Still waiting don’t know how long for,
Don’t visit just before 5pm as they do a change over of staff and the new staff have no idea where people are at on eating and service requirements, management have to look at this problem quick .
As this restaurant has been very good up until now but maybe things are slipping
J. D.
First time we have been for breakfast and it was delicious 😋 Great service and a nice atmosphere
O. L.
Lovely restaurant , great food and good selection of regional Italian wine
P. M.
Lovely restaurant in Glasgow,s West end nice food good service great staff well worth a visit
J. W.
Fantastic food , friendly service . Loved it.
D. R.
First visit, just popped in when passing. Had 2 courses from lunch menu and I am stuffed. Good service, lovely staff, good food, just a great place.
C. o. G.
First and foremost the food was great and that's what matters ..... but for the name of the lord please change the playlist . Cheesy euro pop hits booming out on mothers day. And frankly not sure about the decor but hey that's personal . Food was good and service was quick.
D. T.
Super atmosphere, superb food, professional and friendly staff. The Deli is just full of goodies.
Our meals were so tasty and had a true feel of Italy (I have lived in Southern Italy). I truly enjoyable experience.
R. I.
Food was absolutely amazing! By far one of the best italians I have been too! Service was great, food amazing, and spacious! Would highly recommend.
L. M. T.
I was in the Square with my friend and one lady doing a free tour recomended us a Celino's restaurant in Partick.
It was amazing, the staff were really nice and helpful, the food were tastied. Really highly recomend it if you are in Glasgow and you want a really italian restaurant. Even they have a italian shop inside of the restaurant.
In special the spanish guy, Giovanni, who was serving us. He recomended us a couple dishes. It was an amazing place to have a lunch!
A. K.
Lovely warm welcome and ambience. Breakfast with family. Excellent menu. Hearty portions of fresh produce, cooked to perfection on warm plates. Excellent cleaning protocol of areas and excellent social distancing in place. Thank you for keeping yourselves and your customers safe. 👍
L. O.
We stumbled upon Celino's by an accident really. We were looking for a place to have an early dinner with a toddler on board. We are vegetarians and that, surprisingly, was a challenge. What a lucky accident though! We truly enjoyed our meal there. The staff was lovely, the food delicious and the general ambient of the place was really pleasant. You can always count on Italian eateries to cater for veggies, but it isn't always the best meal in town. We'll we were either very hungry or the food in Celino's was great 😀 We were a little disappointed that we had no place left for dessert - definitely will be back for some coffee, tiramisu and pistachio ice-cream 😍
N. H.
Delicious food, great service. Very enjoyable
J. W.
Food was amazing and staff very helpful indeed, definitely be back.
t. w. g.
Lovely restaurant with the option to buy cheese and other products from their shop counter. Food is fantastic and the service was great. Definitely worth a visit but be sure to book online before you go as its busy especially at the weekend.
E. K. W.
We like this restraunt very well . The staff is very kind and welcoming as well as polite . The food is very filling and you will never leave hungry . The portions are very good and my children love it here . The desserts are amazing and tasty . I recommend getting any pasta and their sauces are amazing and have tones of flavours . Sometimes to if its to busy it can get very loud and the food comes late but thats understandable . All on all great food and great place .
F. A.
Nice Italian market/restaurant. The idea of this place to combine a market with Italian products and a restaurant is super nice. Good selection of products and good food. Only note, food is too adapted to the place, so it lacks of authenticity for some aspects
K. M.
Great service and beautiful food, and lovley decor 😍
E. L.
Amazing food! Regular here and they never disappoint!
P. “. P. B.
Seafood pizza was absolutely dynamite.
Cracking atmosphere and brilliant staff.
F. M.
Food was superb. Very attentive and pleasant staff.
A. F.
An excellent restaurant experience - friendly and efficient service in a relaxed continental atmosphere. Efficient online booking system. Would definitely return again.
E. M.
Great atmosphere and great food - staff all friendly and attentive - even offered me a magnifying glass for the menu when they noticed i was struggling to read it ! 😂 only complaint was that the children's portion was massive! 😂👍🏻 Will be back and will recommend to others .
J. E.
Absolutely love this place. Went to the deli with a heavy bag and the wonderful staff member kindly let me in to buy food safely and also offered to watch my bag. Nothing was too much trouble and they even went and retrieved more food in the back when I couldn't find what I came for on display. Outstanding food and service. Officially my favourite place! Thank you.
R. L. L.
Delicious food! Pizzas are amazing and they’re stone baked in the oven. Ate the Italian sausage pasta which was cooked perfectly al dente and sauce was great.
Table next to me ordered the cannoli and I told myself I had to order them! And it did not disappoint. It satisfied the sweet tooth in me!
L. T.
Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here, as did the rest of the family; nobody left anything which is a rarity. Even though COVID restrictions were in place there was a good, bustling atmosphere. Plenty of staff so never waiting around trying to catch the servers eye. Not cheap but certainly reasonable prices compared to other similar places. Can heartily recommend.
K. B.
Lovely food and service. We had a large family dinner and despite being a lot of people, the food came timely and was very tasty. No complaints from any diner.
R. S.
Fabulous place! Brilliant staff, superb range of food and drink served efficiently and very delicious! Prices were spot on and we got a cake goody bag takeaway from the deli counter! Look forward to coming back!
S.
Food is well spiced up and tastes like it should. Delicious stuff. Don't order too much because one dish can be quite caloric and filling. Staff is well-manered and place looks clean and luxurious inside. Big menu and big prices but the cost matches the taste! :D
S. G.
Excellent food and drink.
Service was great
G. G.
We love this place, great service, food and atmosphere .
J. H.
Excellent all round - great food, drink, value, atmosphere and service.
B.
This is the 1st time I have been to Celinos. The restaurant is spotless and staff are friendly and professional. As I did not see what I wanted on the menu the wait staff asked the chef to prepare it for me which he did. The food was amazing and it was a truly pleasurable experience. I will definitely be back.
A. H.
First time visit and had a lovely lunch. Staff were warm and welcoming, even when turning up without a booking. The restaurant was busy and atmosphere was buzzing, including an Italian radio station playing across the restaurant. Coffee was really good too. Their delicatessen is packed full of lovely savoury and sweet treats. I will definitely be going back to try more of the menu. Really good value.
P. D.
Great atmosphere. Food was amazing. Phillipe and his team made us feel like family. Can't wait to return when we next visit Glasgow.
G. O.
Authentic Italian food, well presented on warm plates by very efficient and pleasant staff. The carbonara originale was the best I have had. Aglio e olio, peperoncini also very well prepared. During such a difficult period for restaurants, this establishment is amazing. Thank you.
P.S. penne gamberoni also highly recommended.
E. L.
Food is great. Seafood is fresh.
T. T.
Food and staff were excellent. The music was a bit odd for breakfast time and a bit loud
Α. Μ.
Very busy environment, which results to delays, but the overall experience was very good. We had several pasta dishes and they all were tasty. Lasagne too cheesy though. Value for money.
J. C.
Great atmosphere staff very attentive and food was good mmmm mmmm😋
I. S.
Great atmosphere in this restaurant at Monday teatime. Staff were excellent, pleasant and helpful when asked about food choices. Every course and wine delicious. Think I've found my favourite restaurant 😋
L. B.
Such a great place with the loveliest, friendliest staff. They've done absolutely everything they can to make things as safe as possible in the pandemic. The food was amazing and they were so good with my 16 month old son, they didn't mind when he threw pasta and got him his own scoop of ice cream. We'll definitely be back
C. M.
Just had a coffee but will be back to try the food as it looked and smelled amazing. Nice place with great service
S. B.
Totally love Celinos. Had a lovely lunch there and shopped in the delicatessen. So much wonderful food and drink to choose from. Have found my new favourite wine.
J. S.
Visited today, only for the 2nd time and it was superb. From service to food and drink everything was superb. Thank you once again and hopefully our 3rd visit wont be to long.
B. T.
A fantastic restaurant, beautiful food, lovely little delicatessen attached and top quality food at a good price. Would highly recommend.
A. J.
Great food .. but beware on a Sunday night not much fish and shellfish left or none left. I was a bit disappointed about this as I was the only person in the party who is not keen on pasta and all seafood produce was done. Apart from that great place..
C. G.
Good food, good service and good venue. Would recommend.
j.
I loved it. Has everything to suit your needs: deli, cafe, restaurant. I've been there for breakfast a few times. Good selection, lots of space, friendly staff, good location, great food and coffee. I would definitely recommend it!
b. w.
My wife and I had the most wonderful time on the evening of the 11th June. First time at this spectacular restaurant, food 5 star, service 5 star a truly wonderful experience. Would recommend Celino's to every person who has a love of all things Italian. A thoroughly embracing experience, not to be missed. We will most certainly be back soon.
Thanks to Pheoby (hope the spelling is right!) A wonderful and personable person. She made our night!
Bill & Melanie.
N. K.
Lovely place to shop (restaurant excellent when opened) but deli amazing. food really good and so fresh.Staff are helpful without being intrusive. Best night in, just buy a good bottle of wine, close the blinds, light a candle and put on some Andrea Bocelli...your own Italian restaurante' enjoy
C. J. M.
Great service, reasonably priced food was excellent although portions were a little excessive in size
Amazing take-out menu also available
P. J.
Excellent food nice staff but very noisy on a Saturday night
A. M.
Wonderful venue smashing first class staff fab food we really love celinos
j. s.
Absolutely amazing food my friend Ashley took me first time and all o can say is wow xxx
K. S.
The best Italian we have ever been too. The atmosphere was fantastic. Food was beautiful abs fresh and seasoned perfectly. The waiting staff were very polite and helpful. Loved the deli part to it so much so we visited it on our way out to get a few items.
W.
Amazing!!!! The food was so good, tasty and fresh! Lovely staff and atmosphere can't wait to go back
R. K.
Lovely place, delicatessen feel to the whole place, friendly helpful staff, good food, reasonable prices for the area, catered for our table of 8 for a birthday brunch with no problems.
J. M.
We love Celinos ❤ used to go to the one in Alexander Parade which is quite small but the Partick one is roomy and very comfortable. Great food and friendly service will definitely be back.
M. H.
Visited here during a trip to Glasgow lovely restaurant and excellent deli
J.
Authentic Italian with superb service. Beautiful deli crammed with home made Italian delights. Highly recommend stopping by this jewel.
S. S.
Food was lovely, but we had to vacate our table before we had dessert or coffee, we had a 2 hour time slot and the young lady was rushed off her feet, somebody needs to think about staffing or maybe not accepting too many customers , don't know we will be back which is a shame, we have been good customers
K. E.
They made our 6 year anniversary very special by giving us a beautiful table and wonderful service. The food was so good that we had to go back the following Sunday.
N. M.
Made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in... service was excellent, we were sat at a table located next to the ice cream and desserts which kept our daughter distracted while we sussed out what to fill our stomachs with! Great atmosphere together with the Italian staff made it feel very authentic... food was very good and didn't disappoint therefore I would highly recommend!
R. B. R.
Excellent lively place with wonderful authentic Italian food. The restaurant also sells Italian produce, ice-cream's, Italian meat, pasta etc at the front of the restaurant. The whole place is very lively. Great staff too with wonderful service. Only reason for 4 stars is I felt the dishes were too early rich in taste. May be it was one of those days but will definitely go back and try again.
S. P.
Honestly, the place looks cool, the food looks really tasty and the staff is really kind but the 3 stars are for the coffee. I just went there 3 times to buy a coffee and only once i was, pretty much, satisfied.
Once, I ordered an Americano. On my way home i realized the coffee had milk inside.
Today i ordered a Mocha and they gave me a hot chocolate by mistake i guess cause if that pretended to be a mocha...
O.
The good and the staff are fantastic but the place is just way too cramped. It's like they've tried to fit as many tables in as possible. You can barely move in there when it's busy
t. g.
Some of the best Italian food I've had. Very nice place. Friendly staff. Had to get some food from the deli as well! Definitely would come again.
A. S.
Fantastic restaurant serving delicious, simple food. Staff are very knowledgable and friendly. Great selection of wines.
The deli has a great selection of light bites if you want something quick.
They also have a great selection of prepared meals for you to take home as well as some Italian canned and packaged goods.
G. D.
Had a Sunday breakfast here with the family - it’s a fantastic setting, has a great ambience and staff are lovely. Celinos feels like a classic family run business which are always my favourite places to go! Food was excellent with a great range of choices, and the coffee was first rate. Looking forward to our next visit!
K. M.
Excellent restaurant, very good food and very friendly staff. Went in for brunch but were too late so had the two course lunch. Excellent prawns to start then italian Christmas dinner. The restaurant was very welcoming with a great atmosphere for a Sunday. Would definitely recommend. Very impressive deli counter with a large selection of Italian food to take away and the cakes looked fantastic, maybe next time.
K. M.
I have been enjoying carry out coffees and buying from the deli during lockdown, but was delighted to sit in today with my sister for a coffee. The restaurant has taken every precaution to make customers feel safe whilst dining or simply having a cappuccino as I was. All the staff were as happy to be back working, as we were to be able to sit in again.
I have certainly missed dining at Celino’s and look forward to a family visit soon.

Was there for a large family celebration and couldn't have been a more positive experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, great with the wee ones and coped admirably with constant changing of seats and ordering of drinks. The food was all delicious and nicely presented, and the 2 or 3 course lunch deal is an absolute steal.
D. W.
Amazing Italian products and food in this unique corner of Glasgow.
M. C.
Hands down my favourite cafe in Glasgow! Their hot chocolate, pesto pasta, sunflower honey is highly recommended. The staff behaviour is wonderful - Marley, Grant, Didi, Alejandro... they'd always bring a smile on your face. If you're in Glasgow, you cannot miss this place!
P. S.
This is a fairly large restaurant and the conversations can travel and make the place quite noisy. It makes for a good lively atmosphere but don't expect a quiet tete-a-tete. The lively atmosphere can be enjoyed with a wide variety of food from an extensive menu. The food is good, well prepared and good value. The desserts include a display case with the pastries of the day all of which look tempting. Enjoy your visit, I have enjoyed each of my visits and never been disappointed.
M. C.
Amazing shop and restaurant the food is really good i love it
P. D.
Lovely family meal celebrating a birthday. Food was great and staff very attentive.
L.
We have become frequent flyers here and every time we have come the staff and food have been brilliant. My only mark down is every time I have ordered tea they always forget to offer sugar. This is minor but I don't like searching for sugar. Otherwise it's 5 star. I would happily eat their risotto balls as a last meal
C. M.
Wonderful food and atmosphere
J. C.
Food great service good but don't understand why every time I go to this restaurant I ask what is the soup of the day and they say wait and I will go and find out, surely at beginning of service all staff are told soup of the day and all specials of the day, so when asked they automatically say what is what very frustrating apart from that love eating here
K. G.
We went here for lunch and the place was crammed. It is easy to see why it was so busy! I don't tend to dine in Italian restaurants as I am a bit fussy with food, but the food here is absolutely delicious, I will definitely return for the mozzarella balls. They also have a deli counter with various meats, olives and cakes, I will definitely be calling in for a takeaway next time I am in Partick.
J. F.
Will definately revisit! Lovely big airy restaurant with all bases covered... you could do morning coffee, lunch or evening meal. Authentic tasty food, friendly staff, excellent customer service and food arrived really quickly. Child & wheelchair friendly!
R. C.
I’ve always loved Celino’s, and just want to rave about my last two encounters with them. A couple of weeks ago we had to self isolate so we were unable to collect our order, they were so helpful and accommodating and delivered to our house, covid safe, free of charge. Last week I was in buying some meals from the deli to bring over to my recently widowed granny in Ireland (she loved them and said they were delicious!) and the staff at the deli were so busy but that didn’t impact on how efficient and friendly they were, they brought the shopping bag over to me personally and helped my out the front door with the pram. Makes such a difference in these hard times to have such wonderful food and fabulous service. Thanks Celinos! 🙏
M. J.
Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, good lovely
t. m.
Feels more like a diner rather than a restaurant. Very relaxed and has a family friendly feel. The place is a shop, a delicatessen, a diner, a coffee bar and even a tiny wine bar. A lovely mix of atmosphere. And the food! The food is really tasty, flavours blended and balanced, nothing over spiced. I love this place on a lazy afternoon.
K. S.
The staff here are just fantastic! Had my little boy up dancing and chatting to him and making sure he had his dinner first before we ordered. Had a beautiful meal here. The atmosphere was great. Sadly didn't take any photos but we did take our remainders home for later! Oh and the cakes...... to die for!
G. M.
Absolutely stunning food and brilliant customer service. Booked for 5 and they absolutely gave 100%. Christmas special cocktail (with apple) was absolutely unreal!! Thank you for the kind customer service and recommendations of what to eat! Was phenomenal!!
K. B.
Was lucky to get booking we all really enjoyed our meal celebrating my son passing his 3rd year of university.
Great food and atmosphere 👌 😋
C. L.
Great food and an even better deli. If you are after things for an antipasti platter, this is where you want to go!
L. Z.
Stumbled across this today and I must say I am really impressed. The deli has a wide range of italian produce and pastries/cakes.
We sat down for a breakfast and everything was so fresh, I have never had such a perfect poached egg ever!
Will be returning and letting friends and family know about this place.
D. T.
Fantastic place, best lasagna I've ever had and the wine vending machine is a cool idea
D. O.
Fab food, great service. Only downside is price of soft drinks
Z. R.
Spacious, bright a fab deli counter coupled with great breakfast menu.
R. M.
Best Italian food iv had in a long time. Staff are so lovely and the restaurant is clean
C.
Can't fault the food. It tastes like home cooked Italian. The service is spot on. One complaint would be the temperature, I often feel sitting at the table that I am in the kitchen. But that's an easy fix\ personal problem.
The wine choice is extensive and reasonably priced. The menu caters for all tastes.
Not a place to go if you want a cheap bite to eat.
P. M.
My favourite place to eat whatever the occasion and recommend to everyone. Food is always delicious and well priced but the staff make the experience so much better than other similar restaurants. My last visit at the weekend was birthday meal with friends and our waitress was outstanding. Laurie was so professional, helpful and friendly and when my friends tried to make me leave without gelato she was having none of it and brought it over with a candle and the staff sang happy birthday When I went to find the manager I learned that was her first day!! Such a kind thoughtful gesture especially after multiple questions and given how busy it was. Great for any occasion, highly recommended.
A. H.
Excellent restaurant with a casual feel, suitable for families and all others. The menu is varied, with specials changing daily depending on the chef's fancy. No parking due to its central West end location, but there is plenty on street parking either on Dumbarton Road, or on any of the side streets. Great for formal meals, on the spot dining, or just for a quick coffee whilst on the go.
D. C.
Brilliant food and the staff are excellent, especially with young children. Every member of staff on the floor took a turn to walk my 14 month old son around the restaurant and even in to see the chefs. He ended up with free ice cream to sooth his teething gums - superb all round!
W. S.
Fantastic food, service and staff. Will most definitely be back here.
N. M.
Best Italian Cafe/Deli in Glasgow.
T. *.
Lovely atmosphere, bustling and vibrant. Went on a Saturday afternoon, on a whim whilst passing but hadn't booked and they managed to squeeze 4 of us in, which we appreciated. They wanted the table back within 1.5hrs, which was plenty of time, but we did feel a bit rushed. We left with 40 mins to spare, but the urgent feeling never left us the whole time. We will definitely go back but will book in future and avoid a Saturday
C. A.
Simply the best Italian food and deli in Glasgow appart from it's sister restaurant on Alexander Paraid.
A. B.
Everyone who enjoys Italian food should try Celinos, as it's probably the best Italian restaurant in Glasgow. The lasange and the cannolli are especially good. Decent prices and friendly staff. However the AC is a bit fierce! But 5 stars non the less.
P. C.
Superb food. 10 of us and every meal excellent
M. M.
Love the atmosphere here, such a great vibe. The food is good, mussels delicious. Staff very friendly.
M. J.
A good hearty Italian diner with a great shop attached. This is what you want from a cheery, friendly and cosy Italian restaurant. A touch on the dear side for restaurant food and soft drinks but decent portions and good quality ingredients.
K. G.
After years of being constantly disappointed by substandard Italian food lacking in flavour, I'd all but given up.
I have passed this place many times and finally got round to giving it a try. The food is so TASTY! Really great experience as not only is the food really good but the service is warm and friendly. a lovely place indeed.
V. T.
I've been to Celino's a lot and I love it! However, I was there the other day and it seemed like the new personnel is all Scottish. I have nothing against Scottish people but it was a lot better when it was mostly Italian waiters and waitresses. The food was great as always!!
G. S. T.
Great selection of tasty Italian food, lovely setting and friendly staff. Had a very enjoyable dinner here. Also heard great things about the brunch so will be back to try that.
T. C.
Great food, great staff, deli has a great range, cannot fault
M. L.
Lovely food, great staff and good atmosphere. What's not to like :)
J. T.
Fabulous restaurant. Food was excellent. Staff really helpful. Lovely place for a meal really good, friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
d. m.
This is our second time here, lovely restaurant with good atmosphere and friendly helpful staff highly recommend.
j. S.
Visited today for breakfast very nice quality excellent staff 10 pounds for Scottish breakfast included tea or coffee wouldn't say it was great value for that price but did enjoy my visit and enjoyed looking at the selection of foods on display and it was first class and will go back definetly
n. h.
I like smart Italian deli restaurants that offer lots of great looking food options so this place draws me in. But... some of the cakes looked a bit tired on Monday evening and I saw no ‘special offers’ to shift stock. I like my pastries but they must be super fresh. Service was good, friendly but a bit slow.
A. C.
Lovely new Italian in the West end. Had the mixed meat calzone which was lovely. The waiters and other staff were friendly and courteous. Nice atmosphere, rustic Italian decor. A bit crowded but not enough to impact significantly.
I. W.
Great food, great staff, great vibe, completely adore the place. 4/5 because takeaway portions tend to vary a lot between massive and too small, and they (only occasionally) forget small things like parmesan- but, then again, we're only human, and this place is extremely welcoming and the food is great, especially for the price range :)
K. J.
Busy family friendly restaurant with an impressive deli counter. Friendly staff, good prices and excellent food
M. H.
Whether you're there for the trattoria or the deli, you're in for a treat. Variety is the spice of life and this place has so much variety it's incredible. Whatever your budget is, forget it, you're going to exceed your limits simply because there are so many fabulous options. Everything you need and so many new discoveries. Try the arancini to go, amazing. The pecorino with pistachios, divine. I could go on but go and try it for yourself. Friendly, helpful staff in an inviting (covid safe) Aladdin's cave of a store.
C. B.
Went for a quick lunch. Chose from the fixed price lunch menu which was fantastic value.
Quick lunch turned into a long leisurely meal with wine. Where we enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere - totally forgot I was sitting in partick on a thursday afternoon.
They have a great deli and do a deli board as a starter which is light and tasty.
For mains I had lasagne which was without a doubt the best I've ever eaten.
Had to find room for dessert - the choice of fresh desserts is amazing.
Will defo be back.
J. S.
Nice food, fast efficient service, bit on the pricy side. The martinis were really good!
a. g.
Excellent food, good portion sizes, well priced. One of the best Italians in Glasgow
A. L. G.
We visited Celinos on a busy Sunday night. We were sat straight away without a booking. We were served by two staff members Giulia and Penelope, both were lovely and attentive. I did send back my dish (personal preferences) and the manager was more than happy to accommodate for this. He was so helpful and professional and followed up at various stages through out the meal to check everything was ok. We will definitely be back.
M. H.
Wonderful experience yesterday at the deli. Cannot praise Matt enough! His knowledge of your products and brilliant customer service helped me create a wonderful foodie gift for my chef brother! A credit to your business!
L. M.
Celinos is gluten and allergy concious. Makes delicious food and serves with grace and care.
It is a delight to eat there and in covid restrictions one can have a drink outside under their covered terrace then eat inside if the weather changes. And their deli is stocked full of authentic Italian delicacies to stock up on. Defo worth a visit. It was the Partick restaurant I visited.
J. M.
Absolutely superb. Food was fantastic and staff were brilliant too. Been back many times since and food amazing.
S. R.
The food was delicious and the customer service was second to none. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I definitely would. Highly recommended
L. C.
Great food with lots of choice. Staff very attentive.
e.
Various intriguing options for any time of day, whether that's breakfast, lunch or dinner. Even has meals and desserts to take home. You're probably better off booking in advance though if you want a luckier chance of getting a table.
B. A.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Glasgow.
r. s.
I had a table booked here last night and due to the government's advice they had to close, but rather than just leave it they offered a free delivery! The staff in here are more than helpful at this difficult time and I couldn't say enough good things about the food and the service. I will definitely be going here to get the full experience once life returns to normality.
Thank you Celino's!
C. R.
Friendly staff. Great service. Food was good and was served hot. Lovely surroundings and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
j. k.
Food is lovely.staff friendly and super efficient surroundings lively warm and welcoming great family friendly as you would expect from an Italian eatery decor is modern as well as a lovely Italian shop to compliment the restraint.
B. B.
Famous Italian restaurant in Glasgow, always good and great service. Often full so book in advance. They also have a traitor and do take aways. Too bad they are not on online deliveries.
L. M.
Food is delicious, will definitely be back soon 🍷😋
D. W.
Delicious food, great service. Highly, highly recommend!
K. C.
Good selection of fresh and dried Italian food.
S. S.
Atmosphere, staff and food were all excellent. We had a party of 11 people and all of us were delighted.
a. a.
Great vine at Celinios. Clean, great menu, reasonable price, all staff very polite. Never a long wait. One of my favourite restaurants in Glasgow. Also do breakfast. Cannot fault them.
I. F.
Great breakfast and coffee in a friendly neighbourhood family restaurant. Amazing deli options if you are in a rush.
S. L.
Food is brilliant staff great had to wait for 30 mins for table but its the busy season.
M. M.
Waiters were extremely pleasant, good services
G. M.
My day really only starts after I've been in here for a coffee and an Italian spicy sausage, fried egg and grilled tomatoes, puts a smile on my face . Great staff and even better food
K. F. (.
Never sat it there to eat, but I get takeaway stuff along with ingredients for cooking at home sometimes, and it's fantastic. Half the goods in there have labels that are only in Italian, so I'm assuming it's the real stuff.
E. R.
Excellent takeaway meal. Good to see they slightly reduce takeaway prices compared to restaurant too. Always annoying paying eat in prices to take out
J. B.
Food great staff vary helpful and pleasant vary good menu plenty to choose from. Restaurant very spacious they also have a brilliant deli will definitely be back
C. D.
Great selection of olives and cheeses, we had a mini breakfast which was good. But it is the cakes and ice cream that I really find impressive. We also picked up some take away veggie lasagna and penne pasta which fed two us across four meals. Place is like Mary Poppins' handbag so with booking can take large parties easily.
J.
Really nice restaurant, great food at a reasonable price. I highly recommend the mint delight sundae for desert - it's epic!
M. G.
Lovely food but only one starter and one main course gluten free.
D. M.
Fantastic restaurant. Great and friendly staff. Orders are always fulfilled and accurate. Food is amazing. One of the best Italian restaurants in Glasgow in my opinion
M. M.
Great food, lovely staff. I will definitely visit again.
D. V. (. G.
This restaurant has an amazing selection of Italian wines divided by region. With great surprise, I found that they have all the most important types of wine from my region Sardegna. I struggled to find any of them in all restaurants in Glasgow. I strongly recommend trying them of course. The food was also amazing, good portions and plenty of choice. The staff were very nice. As you walk into the restaurant you are welcome by this amazing deli counter with all sorts of rare Italian foods. Absolutely a great solid choice if you want to eat real Italian and take your family or partner or friends to a lovely cosy restaurant

Celiono's is such an excellent restaurant and deli. The food is brilliant and over the counter food from the deli is great, and very affordable! The wine selection behind the deli counter as well is one for many return visits as I think there are wines here that I can't get in supermarkets etc.

Wondeful and great food. We loved it here and on top, fantastic service. Highly recommended.

Best prawns IV tasted. Ask for garlic bread with the prawns to soak up the magnificent sauce

A superb, classy addition to Partick.
I've been about half a dozen times, with family, for the Pre-Theatre menu, for A La Carte, and for afternoon cake & coffee. Everything is wonderful, the food is superb, the wine (a glass of house for me!) is great, the ambiance is delicious - bottles of wine and food decorate the place. The delicatessen is full of treats, savoury and sweet. They even do take-out pasta dishes, I've been in for some and they were great too.
Partick has plenty of greasy spoons with a breakfast for £3.50, and Byres Road has plenty of expensive places that are - to be honest - up their own backsides. It's nice to have a classy, gourmet venue in Partick that is just the right balance of relaxed and formal.
I'll be going back... again!

Good menu, not too fancy; puddings maybe not very remarkable. Quite a large place so good for groups. Watch your timing as deals often are "when ordering before 3.00pm" or whatever.

Incredible incredible food! Service was great aswell they were attentive and always helpful. I know I can always come here for some amazing pasta.
S. H.
Can't fault it. Service is excellent, food is delicious (have the tiramisu, it's to die for!) Decent size portions. Lovely atmosphere. Have visited several times and will no doubt visit again.

Real Italian restaurant. Something more than pasta and pizza. Good quality, good service and quite efficiently managed.
We came with a baby and our reserved table didn't have space for a pram but they changed the table even although it was really busy the place.
The food really tasty

Great food, amazing staff. And great value too. It's fairly big restaurant from outside but feels cosy once inside. Love love love.
K. B.
Excellent Italian food. The place has a shop selling Italian specialities and a restaurant.

It was my birthday treat and my Mum wanted to treat me to a nice meal, in Partick its hard to come by but this new Italian place had a buzz about it, I was intrigued. When you walk in you are in the Deli, very clever idea, hats off to the designer, gives an authentic feel straight away and shows the diner some of the delights on offer before ordering ✔ was met with a beautiful girl who showed us to our seat, we were half hour early and it was not a problem. Our server was just gorgeous and so so sweet throughout the night. The food was absolutely delicious, bruschetta/arancini for starters and risotto for both (perfect) we struggled to finish our very generous portions and trust me it was hard, as the risotto was so creamy perfect! My Mother (the light of my life) told our lovely lass that it was my Birthday and I was greeted with a gorgeous desert with a candle and a Happy Birthday. It was very sweet and although I was mortified..im now divorced of my Mother! It was a lovely touch. First time here and it will not be my last. Cant do the place justice with words you MUST come here! Food✔Ambience✔Service✔Value✔ please please come here it is just perfection! Celino's = Italy 💖

The veggie pizza is positively fuori di questo mondo, perfectly cooked vegetables on the thinnest of bases, an unforgettable culinary experience, highly recommended.

Love this place, been a good few times and it's become a firm favourite...... one of the management......Giuseppe is an absolute legend...... my fiancee and I have known him for years. He always makes you feel welcome. Also the food is great! !!!
*EDIT 22/8/18* I returned recently last week.......and was saddened by a few things 1: to find that Giuseppe has moved on to pastures new, don't know what happened there tbh but Celinos?!....... Ya dropped the ball!
2: Food was nice as usual but some of the wait staff weren't quite right......not all of them granted but I can't put my finger on it, it was like they just couldn't be bothered and it was a hassle to ask for something..... for example we asked for a jug of ice water for the table and got two glasses instead...... trivial, I know; but I asked where the jug was and the waiter rolled his eyes before going to fetch a jug which I had to ask for again a second time because he forgot. This just made the situation frosty..... it was a few of little things like that I suppose.
Maybe it was just a bum night, who knows; it happens! Downvote for now but I will be back to see if they sort themselves out. The food is still lovely, so don't be put off.
*EDIT 22/9/18* Back again a month to the day...... Pleasantly surprised to say normal service resumed. New front of house manager dark haired with beard..... (Apologies never caught your name.) He was slick, professional and welcoming; well done Cellino's.
Chap was on our table had an earing in..... He was fantastic. The food was delicious as usual. Really pleased with our visit. Great effort guys.

First time and was pleasantly surprised. Staff very nice . Food delicious. We were in for lunch but don't think I go in the evening would imagine it to be a bit too noisy but the young would love it.
J. S.
Had a great evening in Celino's for a birthday celebration. Food and drink was delicious at reasonable prices, staff were attentive and ambience was great. Don't just take my word for it: the restaurant was packed all night

Party of 6 on a busy Saturday night. Table was ready, atmosphere great. Our waiter was attentive and good humered. Unfortunately the quality of the main courses let it all down.Meat Lasagne was a joke, hardly any meat, lack of Prawns in risotto. This is the third time that main course was poor.
J. S.
Fantastic service which was quick considering how busy it was. Delicious food, however presentation lacking slightly - especially in the Pollo Milanese. Lovely ambiance, however can be loud if you are seated close to the kitchen.
When I ate there, my dessert took over 20 minutes to arrive. However, the waiter came to say that the dessert had been sent back because the manager was not satisfied with it and that it was being remade. We were offered a complimentary coffee or tea.
Will absolutley be eating here again in the near future.
Overall, would recommend the Branzino Alla'aqcua. The seabass is phenomenal.
C. B.
Excellent food and service. Take away isn't the best tho by the time I got home my pasta was dry and all clumped together. Apart from that i really cant fault the place and will continue to dine here
J. B.
Celino's is one of my bolt holes, the places I go to hid from reality and eat something wonderful. Of course, this is tantamount to a confession. I do spend an inordinate amount of time looking for the perfect......flat white, caramel shortie, empire biscuit, chicken liver pate. If you don't adhere to this creed, then I've wasted your reading time. If you do, then I have given you another place of pilgrimage to plan to visit.
S. P.
We eat at Celino's regularly and the food has always been excellent. We were there last night and it was the best yet. Definitely my favourite restuarant anywhere. Best food, lovely staff and lovely surroundings.
S. P.
Two of us were in on a Saturday night, place was packed but the staff were very attentive and the food was up there with the best Italian food I've tasted. So good in fact we have booked again for lunch this midweek.
A. H.
Good quality Italian family run restaurant and all the perks that come along with that
J. M.
Such a great place when it first opened and still an exciting visit due to deli and cakes. Food is just par - nothing bad but not great. Had prawn linguine and a bit bland. Not cheapest either but nothing much else this part of Partick.
G. S.
Excellent service, excellent food. The staff were very friendly and attentive
V. M.
Went for lunch menu, the vegetarian options are a bit limited but tasty. I had minestrone (was pleasantly fresh) and veggie fritters (so fresh I burned my tongue) and tiramisu.
Tables are cleaned with antibacterial cleaner between guests (I really appreciated this).
No issues waiting to be seated or waiting around for bills, waiter bringing food was always different but nothing was done wrong or slowly, so they seem to have quite an efficient system.
Staff are attentive to the point of being annoying, though some people probably like being asked if everything's OK more than once per course.
Lunch tiramisu appeared to be free, which was great!
My only gripe is that vegetarian options are not consistently marked on the menu, so can be difficult to pick out.
H. S.
Amazing food, staff are always so lovely and helpful. Great place!

Make sure you book
Cater to all age groups

D. G.
Great place with good food and happy service. A little on the expensive side. Would visit again.
C. S.
Very tasty food, but a bit pricey. Nice atmosphere and consistently pleasant staff. Deli food, ice cream and other foodstuffs available are a really nice addition to the place.
G. C.
You want hearty, as mama used to make, Italian food.
You gotta head to Celino's.
Make a reservation today. I kid you not.
The pizzas are gorgeous. Crisp thin bases and not overly covered in toppings.
The lasagne! You taste everything. The pasta, the meat, the sauce, everything. I would say better than my moms but she'd kill me.
Risotto. A bowl of creamy heaven. Not overpowering and a delight to eat.
Service 2nd to none!
If you want Italian, you come to Celino's.
G. S.
Oh my word! The scrumptious food, deeeeeelicious. My 6 year old daughter was hugely impressed with the cat shaped styled pizza.Staff amazingly friendly very child friendly, Cool deli to order take home food.you will not be disappointed.

Wow from the moment you enter, a walk through the deli part and you are in another world. Welcome from the staff, menu to tickle the tastebuds, choice to be made - help - went with son and grandson's choices a calzone which was new to me but I was not disappointed. Delicious +. Hopefully return next time in Glasgow.

Was ok. Service was actually really bad. But food was ok. The cannoli I ordered for dessert was stale. The main meal was nice enough and portion size was big. But really after so much hype I expected more. Maybe it was a bad night for them. I'll give it one more go.
D. R.
Great place food was amazing service was fab can't wait to go back xx
S. R.
This is by far one of the best resteraunts I've been to in a long time. The food is very high quality for great prices. The staff are friendly and authentic, the setting in new, clean and very comfortable, with a great atmosphere.
S. M.
Lovely, lovely restaurant with really kind courteous staff. Although we didn't have a booking they found us a table and even helped us move to the bar with our drinks as we wanted to stay on.

Huge menu, good deals on through the week. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food. Loads of staff so no wait for anything. Always packed when I walk past.

First dine out since covid started 18 months ago to celebrate a birthday, very good experience with a lovely ambiance, meal and service.
N. N.
Very nice atmosphere and good prices. The food was tasty, but the original carbonara was too heavy and the bacon pieces were 90% fat which was disappointing. Also noone asked if everything was ok or of we liked it
M. M.
Friendly staff, tasty italian food. Seafood was great
J. L.
Fantastic food and service, great family meal there tgis week
T. W.
Food is amazing and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The array of fresh food to take away is great and the breads and pasta selection is vast...spoiled for choice!
J. H.
Love this restaurant I was out with my girlie's had a lovely afternoon our waiter was just the best very chatty and proffecional 🥰
M. R.
Ordered scrambled egg on.toast after waiting 35mins I asked for the bill but was assured the food was in its way. 10mins later it arrived but with lots of egg shell in it. I said I did not want it everyone else had finished. I was asked if I wanted to pay for it but I did not think this was appropriate. I asked for the bill again but they offered the meal again I saud we were leaving had now been there 1 hour. Then the manager offered the plate again I said I did not want it because we had waited so long everyone had finished and we have stuff to do he slammed the plate down at the seving area. It is a beautiful lookimg restraunt and does look like great quality and prices are low but management are aggressive and smug.

This place is always busy at the weekend so book ahead of you can, don't let that put you off though because it's busy for a reason. The deli is brilliant for takeaway and the restaurant food is very nice, the staff are extremely helpful.

Why would you go to 'pretend' Italian restaurants when your have Celino's?- They tick every box. Service, ambience, and oh the food. Just one danger, getting past the deli on the way in! Amazing!
J. S.

Absolutely stunned to be told the minestrone was gluten free. I hadn't had minestrone soup in over a decade because of celiacs disease. Had it and absolutely loved it in Celino's and followed it up with a really delicious pizza.
