Reviews of Hangin' Pizzeria
R. S.
One of the best pizzas I ever had!! The garlic bread is so tasty and flavourful! The pizzas are thin and very filling. Will be back! Also love that they support ape charities!
H.
Always tasty and freshly cooked pizza, which are a good size (we split one between two and were filled up lovely - and the staff are wonderful.
R. G.
I’m going to give this review a 4 star rating. The reason being is that we waited 30 mins outside for the take away service. I appreciate that this pizza was made from scratch. However, I feel this can be improved. On the other hand, the pizza was lovely & obviously fresh. We really enjoyed it. 🍕
M. N.
Great vibe and great branding... also serving up delicious, fresh and good value pizza! We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside in the sunset to eat, accompanied by a couple bottles of tasty cider and some overhead jets... Will definitely come back when we visit Betws again!
C. B.
Came here for the first time at the weekend. Good choice of Pizza, just had the garlic butter and mozzarella pizza and it was lovely, decent size as well. There were other items on the menu as well that looked good as well. I've already started to tell people to come and try the pizza next time they're in Betws-Y-Coed.
E. M.
Great pizza at a really decent price. We also ordered a goats cheese salad that was really tasty and a couple of the cannoli to takeaway which were delicious. Also shout out to the staff who were really friendly.
C. R.
Excellent pizza and very popular. Clearly a lot of keyboard warriors in the reviews who probably put pineapple on there pizza. Don't bother paying attention too them. Amazing pizza dough was 👌. Flavour 👍 service 🤌
Y. H.
This was one of the best pizzas I've had in the UK. It was so good that we went back the following day for seconds, as we had to rush through our pizza during our first visit or we'd have missed our bus!
Both visits were superb. You have to queue up at the window to make your order and then take a seat with your receipt and wait to be called to get your food.
We were seated in a nice outdoor seating area and waited no longer than 15 mins to get our pizzas.
The pizzas were hot, fresh and had the three things spot on that I always look for in a pizza.
Crust, sauce and cheese.
All were amazing and the place was definitely worth a revisit.
The staff were polite and attentive and their service was above and beyond what you'd usually expect.
Will definitely return here on my next trip to Wales.

We are a family pizza lovers and this place was on our map. Delicious pizza 🍕 full of taste and aromatic. We also ordered goat cheese salad which was just perfect size.
Definitely recommend
B. Y.
Really nice food!! Ordered a goat cheese salad 🥗 and a pizza🍕!! Both tasted so GOOD! I rated it 4/5 is because it’s a bit slow and the tables are dirty which they didn’t supply any wipes or tissue to clean it up. Overall really good food and recommended. Comments for improvement would be: provide some wipes for the table since I don’t mind cleaning them on my own:)
H. G.
What a lovely place, it was a bit cold but they had garden heaters, they are throws for the humans and doggy jumpers for your fury friends, food was amazing. Doggy sausages 😋
O. R.
The staff was very friendly and the pizza was very good! We ordered two gluten free pizzas (1 pepperoni and 1 special) and we couldn't have been happier! Great find and highly recommended.
E. P.
Relaxed, friendly staff, good prices and great food! 3 of us, ordered cheesy garlic bread, ham and mushroom, and burrata flatbread which was more than enough. Still room for desserts of course! Cannoli were good, but the affogato was really good!!
R.
Fantastic pizzeria with amazing food, welcoming staff and blankets to keep you warm outside. I highly recommend the Welsh rarebit as it’s delicious. Will go again.
M. F.
It ws lovely, the atmosphere, the pizzas, we tried the veggie one with olives, and the goat cheese one with butter bread. the side salad was also nice
R. M.
Absolutely delicious pizza, we read the reviews and were pretty confident going. Don't let the negative reviews worry you. It does look pricey and we spent over £20 bit well worth it!!!! Restaurant quality we ordered in the afternoon to avoid any queues. Cooked to order and ready in 15 minutes. Sat on the park opposite and munched away happily.
Highly recommend
O. G.
Food and service, both were outstanding. It's also one of the few places to dine in that is open late upto 8 PM! I ordered a Welsh Rarebit pizza and it was delicious.
B. B.
Attentive staff, stylish eating environment, good music, superb pizza, and CHILLED beer glasses - and all in north wales.
This place is pukka, I had a goats cheese and garlic butter with caramelised onion number that hurt, it was so good. Like the terminator, I’ll be back
A. F.
the pizza here are great. fresh made. good quality ingredients. well put together flavours . the theme of the place is good as well with a great ape vibe (get the pun) the beers have a section of their sale price go towards helping orangutans and chimps and there seemed to be a big focus on raising money for great apes. the sign that mentioned a pineapple corkage fee of 15p was also pretty funny. the atmosphere was great and we ate sat outside under the heat lamps
N. R.
Loved this place!! Love the decor, the vibes, what they stand for but most of all... the pizza!! Really wanted a lemoncello cocktail but it was lunch time so I didn't lol would like to go back another time in the evening! The staff were very helpful and polite one lady even gave me advice a good place to kayak, we went there where she recommended and had THE BEST day so thank you to that lady!
E. D.
Best pizzazs for miles!
We had pizzas after a morning of Canyoning and it definitely did the trick!
Get the pizza with rocket on or the one with blue cheese!
J. G.
Vegan options 10/10 🌱🌱 Zucchini base sounds like it shouldn’t work but it does! Hummus & flatbread was excellent.
Great little place and service. Especially welcome right now when restaurants everywhere are struggling … yeah there was a wait, yeah it was super busy, this place has pulled out the stops and delivered a great place to eat. #bekind

Mixed feelings about this restaurant!
I regularly visit Betws and wanted to get round to trying Hangin' for some time. It looks popular and you often see the public bins around the town over-stuffed with empty pizza boxes from this place (though surely the local council and environment isn't as pleased with this place as the customers may be! Seems a tad hypocritical since they present themselves with an eco-friendly vibe).
At first, it seemed like the indoor seating was closed-off to customers (the door shut, no open or welcome sign and all the patrons were seated in the covered outdoor area). It seems they like to keep their customers outside of the restaurant as much as possible. Other reviews seem to have also picked up on this observation.
The outdoor eating area was a bit shocking. I've attached photos to show the cleaning chemicals and blue paper towel that were left out (customers were expected to clean up after themselves - which is fine, but I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to leave that stuff out in an eating establishment - within reach of small children).
Not all customers were cleaning up after themselves, (despite all the signs requesting they do), because there was still a lot of litter strewn about. (Photos posted with the review showing the litter).
Inadequate seating - every available table was wobbly and there was only a cement wall to perch on, if you didn't want to risk it on a wobbly bench. You were expected to eat while over-looking the bins (as photographed) in a cramped area, while tourists were continually passing through the seating area.
Our party was about to leave (not wanting to eat there without being able to wash our hands first), but after checking with the staff, I learnt that you were allowed to sit inside, where they did of course have handwashing facilities.
After moving to a table inside, and seeing the décor & nice atmosphere, my initial disappointment turned to being pretty impressed. Sitting inside meant you had the option to eat your pizza on a plate with cutlery and napkins, as opposed to outside from a box!
The pizza itself was nice - but definitely not the best! They went a little overboard with the toppings, which made it sickly for me, personally. But I imagine others may prefer this about their pizza! The let down was the tomato base really, as it didn't taste much different to tomato puree.
I wouldn't go back again, but glad I finally tried it. 🦍
D.
Absolutely magnificent pizza! The garlic bread was great too, and is the same size as the main event - I'm used to it being smaller than the pizzas. The homemade lemonade was fantastic too, if you like the real taste of lemons.
Huge queue for the takeaway, but if you're happy to sit inside then you can get served a lot quicker.
S. L.
I picked this place based on the 1900+ reviews, and I wasn't disappointed at all.
The decor is funky, the staff is really friendly, the pizzas are excellent.
When we arrived, we saw a crowd outside on the benches/tables either eating their pizzas or waiting for theirs.
I've asked if we could eat inside and that wasn't an issue as a couple of tables were free.
And while eating inside, I must have counted at least more that 50+ people coming in for a take-away.
This is a great place for a pizza, no fuss, super simple menu, super tasty pizzas.
Highly recommended if you're in the area.
J. H.
Great atmosphere and it's cool they have collections for apes.
Being a vegan I usually avoid vegan pizza as I hadn't found any decent vegan cheese. I was pleasantly surprised here though. The pizza was beautiful and the vegan cheese actually tasted like mozzarella.
The staff were friendly, it was cozy in there and we were served quickly.
Great place, worth a visit
D. J.
Pizza are amazing, they come in a brown takeaway box to eat outside. The garlic pizza bread with mozzarella was amazing. Staff a little slow and considering only 5 other families where eating inside and out we waited a very long time for food. Another dog friendly restaurant and plenty of outside seating under cover
A. H.
Lovely thin pizza full of flavour and made fairly quickly to order. The pizza came in a box which was handy to take any left overs home (was a 12 inch pizza). Not sure if dine in was available as we sat outside but customer toilets were available. Highly recommended.
F. T.
Great Pizza! Thin crispy based with great tasting toppings, vegan friendly and great drinks too! First time in Wales and of the very limited food choices in this area as many places are only open Wednesday to Saturday:( .....this was a great dinner with lovely weather to go sit in the park opposite with pizza! Shame its take away only! There's a car park thats free just opposite thats free from 6pm and generally a lovely vibe along this street!
B. C.
This place was an absolute godsend. Beautiful setting, great outdoor seating, and amazing food. Only one toilet available, I think, but there are also public toilets across the road. The vegan options were outstanding and if I come back to this town, I won’t forget to pop in for pizza here again. I’d call in advance: they’re very popular!
J. M.
Stopped here while travelling just for a quick bite. Ended up having one of the best pizzas we've had in years! Not a huge selection of toppings but what they do have is amazing and all the staff are helpful and friendly too.
Definitely worth stopping by!
E.
I’ve been to Italy four or five times but the best pizza I’ve had in my life was in this small Welsh café. Bravo 👏🏻
D. B.
Lovely restaurant with some really delicious pizzas. Good atmosphere and they do serve gluten free and egg free pizza bases! The kitchen is not separated so there is contamination. For us not a problem but I like to let it know for the people that need the information.
B. S.
What a find!
Possibly the best gluten free pizza since a trip to Sardinia. Also lovely salad with no skimping on the olives and hummus.
Would highly recommend.
Also very dog friendly, can buy your pooch a little sausage for 30p. You can also borrow a doggy jumper to keep them warm whilst you eat outside.
Outdoor heaters and blankets for the hoomans.
D. W.
Visited here a few times now. Not a huge choice of pizza on menu, but all are delicious and can personalise with additional toppings. Also specials available. Really tasty and wait not too long despite being really busy - table service inside and 'takeaway' hatch order service for outside seating area, which was pretty full. There is no booking here, but turnover is pretty quick so not really an issue. Also good range of drinks including soft drinks beers and cocktails.
L. P.
Yum! That is all. I had this pizza twice during our stay close by. I had a margarita,
With caramelised onion and mushroom. So so tasty.
They were a little short staffed and we had to wait a little bit to order but not a problem… the food came out quickly and it was so good. Very surprising for a small pizzeria in a small village but very good!
S. M.
Stopped here for lunch after a little walk in the village.
The place was clean and comfortable and we were offered and outdoor or indoor table.
We ordered four pizza's; two of which we changed toppings around and they were very accommodating.
The pizza's arrived quickly and they were absolutely amazing!
Definetly worth a stop. Great food at an equally good price with a good selection od drinks and deserts too...
j. t.
Don't normally do reviews but these are the best pizza's I have ever had. I had the goats cheese one with a garlic butter base which was delicious, then had left overs for breakfast the next day including my brothers and sisters pizza's which were all amazing. Then I waited for it to open again at 12, and had the one with all the cheeses and asked them to add ham, which was exceptional. If we didn't have to go home I probably would have eaten there in the evening as well! You may think eating all these pizza's would leave me feeling a little reprehensible about myself, but on the contrary, I had entered a blissfully euphoric state where all the troubles in the world had disappeared and all that mattered was a 12" circle of dough filled with mouthwatering toppings and a garlic yogurt dip. If I didn't live 249 miles away I would be all over this joint like a rash. The current laws of quantum mechanics may prevent me from eating here again anytime soon. However I will always be able to take great solace in the memories provided by this fine establishment, and look forward to the day I am able to return and feast upon the divine body of Christ, which is a pizza from Hangin' Pizzeria.
H. C. (.
Absolutely loved it here. Great pizza and atmosphere!
J. C.
I ordered one of the vegan pizzas and it was genuinely some of the best pizza I've ever had full stop. We came to the village to go to the pub but the kitchen wasn't open. How fortunate that should lead us to finding this gem of a restaurants. Highly recommended!
M. J.
Really nice pizza, lovely staff!
Z. R.
Highly recommend the Hummous as a starter and also the vegan sausage pizza, delicious, easily the best two items on the menu. Super cosy with blankets for both indoor and out. Love the vibe of the place and also the friendly staff. Would come back again soon.
C. B.
What a place. I always love coming here when we visit Betws Y Coed. Highly recommended. The food is amazing. The service is fantastic. I just wish this was closer to where I live. All the staff are friendly and willing to help. They have a huge emphasis on charity work especially for gorillas. The beer they serve also has connections to the gorilla charity's. Can't wait to come back and enjoy the amazing food they have to offer. All I can say is thank you to the team that makes this restaurant.
N. 9.
One of the best vegan pizzas I’ve ever had. I had Pizza 10 and the (vegan) cheezy garlic bread. Amazing! The vegan cheese is incredible. Service is great and the restaurant is cozy.
K. M.
Loved it, we were there 2 nights in a row. It does get crowded so get there early, it's outside it's clean and it's a great atmosphere. Your orders are dealt with quickly and doesn't disappoint, well worth a visit ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😋👍
C. B.
A welcome new edition to Betws y coed. This is a lively bistro with a Welsh twist on a European style. Much effort has been expended to create a colourful and original decor. A friendly and enthusiastic staff team are also on hand to help. The pizzas are all freshly cooked with a wide variety of options. Mine was a little over done and the application of chilli was certainly not for the faint hearted!
P. T.
Loved this place, would love to visit again! Pizza and cannolis were amazing!
L. D.
Really good pizza and dips. Slightly over seasoned for our taste (hummus and Welsh rarebit pizza in particular) otherwise great. Lovely staff and a friendly environment.
S. P.
Seen this place lots but only recently had a pizza when I was camping. Fantastic and will be back.
C. W.
Great pizza in a nice environment. Nice to have a wood burning stove with well cooked pizza. Nice staff and reasonably priced for a tourist hot spot. Quiet in winter so have to make the money for the year go round. Nice addition is they support conservation for Orang-utans.
M. H.
I absolutely love this place. Great vibe, lovely food, funky drink selection, ultra friendly staff. Came here for a birthday meal, that’s what i think of the place. Quick too. Tough to beat!
G. D.
Beautiful pizza and the goats cheese salad - incredible
S. J. H.
Called in here for a late lunch and I have to say the Pizza’s where really good and tasty. Get your own, you won’t want to share lol.
Even though there isn’t a great deal of space inside there are tables outside. They even supply cushions and blankets, if your feeling on the cold side.
Staff where all friendly and helpful. Adding this place to my good places list
R. F.
This place is amazing. Order at the bar, find a seat after (the queue was pretty long) and then the food comes out in 10-15 minutes. Absolutely fantastic, vegan options for pizzas, mains, salads and desserts. Probably one of the nicest pizzas I've had in the UK and they're also eco conscious and donate to various charities.
P.
Nice pizza, no room inside so had to sit outside. Staff ok, just ok. Had better from them. Buck your ideas up or you'll start losing customers.
m. f.
Wow! This place is fabulous! The pizza and meatball bake were superb. Seating inside and out. Order at the bar and ten minutes later tasty hot food. You can also buy a tasty sausage treat for your fury friend! Good latte!
b. d.
Quality food good prices, went after hiking the north ridge 👌
D. E. S.
We’ve been on our way back from Snowdon and stopped in the town for some food. We enjoyed a lovely italian experience, very tasty food, nice place and good service. I heard is not even own by italian people which makes this even more interesting. Well done guys! Doing a great job! Love it!
A. Z.
We called for lunch here today just by chance following a fun afternoon at the Zip World Forest Coaster up the road.
It has a great laid back vibe and unique decor, the pizza is delicious and there is a hat tip to sustainability too. We also got served extremely quickly so it's a great place to head for a bite with kids. The goats cheese and caramelized onion pizza is 10/10.
The restaurant is also in a cool little row of independent shops and cafes just adjacent to Betws railway station.
L.
We popped in for a late lunch while staying in Betws-y-Coed for a few days. The restaurant itself was closed due to the pandemic, but there was ample seating outdoors.
Service was pretty quick and they have a small selection of alcoholic drinks as well as water and soft drinks.
I had a vegan pizza (without the vegan “cheese” as I think vegan cheeses are the spawn of Satan), while my partner had something meaty.
The pizza was certainly better than expected, especially considering how dire pizzas in Britain usually are; the bases, in particular, are quite well made with a soft pillowy texture that springs back when you squeeze it, much like you get in Italy. The tomato sauce could have been a little more tangy though, for my tastes, as it tasted a little too much like straight tinned tomatoes.
My partner did discover that he had bacon on his pizza instead of the prosciutto it was supposed to have (which he ended up removing as he doesn’t like it), and the roasted vegetables on mine could have done with a touch less oregano too, which was a very dominant flavour. But all in all, a decent meal. The little roasted tomatoes that were on both of our pizzas were particularly nice.
O. N.
Very cosy place with great food and friendly staff. Dog friendly.
K. H.
Fantastic pizza
Great if you love cheese...
Welsh Rarebit, blue cheese, goats cheese all on different pizzas...
Just wow!
Good IPA too..
L. D.
Lovely pizzaria that has a good selection of pizza and drinks and dessert. The only reason that it doesn't get 5 stars is that there is a limited selection of true vegetarian options. However it did clearly state that rennet was used in some of their cheeses, had a vegan option and we're happy to modify their daily special pizza to replace the non vegetarian mozzarella with the veggie friendly option. Their some and bottled cider\ selection is expansive. They sell soft toys of apes and monkeys as this is effectively a place where you can eat pizza and help apes. Everything is palm oil free and their environmental ethos is excellent. Service was quick (30 minutes wait from order to service) even though the place was packed. They do not accept reservations so a little planning is advised (or they have the option of takeaway) each pizza is stone baked in a flame oven which you can watch the staff use. Their desert menu was small but all sounded lovely. Blankets and extra cushions are readily available if sat outside. Free WiFi and dog friendly
S. A.
Awesome food... Only pizzas and some other basic pizza-ish stuff in menu... But the short menu is what makes this place outstanding. MUSHROOM IN GARLIC SAUCE IS OUTSTANDING!!! No reservation and table is find and grab. Staff is friendly. Parking is across the restaurant and across the main road at church for around £2 for 2 hours. Only 1 toilet on site and located next to station.
W.
Delicious veggie pizza and margarita 🍕
The crust is thin and very tasty
Portion is big and filling 👌
Location is in a buzzing road with other cafes and restaurants and there’s a paid car park on the opposite road 🚘
We had our pizza in the park 😋
G. L.
Nice place, very friendly and nice staff, very good pizza and very good salad. The pizza topping was excellent and very interesting (Stilton etc), but the pizza base even if well cooked was a bit to compact and not enough rised.
T. C.
Real cool pizza place. Great ambience quick service friendly staff. Lots of blankets if youre sitting outside in the cold.
Pizza was fabulous.
Serves Orang Utan Lager Beer. Gibbon Golden Ale.
D. D.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and the service was outstanding
Plenty of choice with vegitarian and vegan options .Plus it was dog friendly
Cant rate the place highly enough
N. L.
Fantastic little restaurant with great pizzas and large portions. A good selection of vegan options on the menu. I had the vegan baba ganoush pizza (#15) and my husband had the prosciutto pizza (#8). Very cool ambience and decor. The bar stools were made of old tyres. Larger tables as well if you have a group of 8 or so.
A. L.
Absolutely beautiful food at a fair price. Massive view on ethical food as well which is nice. Would definitely recommend sharing a pizza unless you are really hungry, they do let you take left overs home though if you donate 20p to charity.
K.
Best Pizza in Snowdonia! No doubt. We’ve loaded some quality carbs just after visiting Snowdon. 👌
C. P. (.
This place has a 1 star hygiene rating, but do not despair! The staff here are very very friendly and adhered to our specific requests that most other places would mess up. The prices here are very reasonable and the food is outstanding for the price. Furthermore, the proceeds go to animal preservation, to 2 charities and their work is shown around the restaurant. They also allow dogs which was very helpful as none of the other restaurant places did. The only downside to this place was the furniture which was a bit awkward but worked fine for us when it wasn't too busy. We weren't able to finish our meal and they did provide us with a box for the remainder aswell as a smile. Highly recommend this place for people visiting the area.
N. B.
Busy and thriving atmosphere on arrival, a quick check of the menu before ordering. Number 7 for me a chilli pizza and number 3 for my partner goats cheese. Couple of drinks to go down with and it was absolutely amazing.
Clean and tidy place, helpful staff helped make it enjoyable. The pizza's were amazing and even opted for an additional garlic bread. No fault with any of it and no waste either it was delicious.
Would highly recommend if in the area, no tables in a restaurant but under cover seating to sit at. We're not from this are but are on holiday and would eat there again. One of our party was gluten free and claimed best pizza she'd had. 5 star 🌟

High quality pizza perfect for after a long walk through Snowdonia. Absolutely a nice treat, with tasty deserts too. Worth waiting the queue!!
K. G.
Great pizzas from here really tasty. Got a nice selection of local drinks as well. It can get quite busy here but highly recommended 👌
S. M.
Stopped for a shared Pizza as a snack lunch and enjoyed the view with a coffee. Thin and crispy base with plenty of cheese and tasted great. Fast service and all cooked to order. Also had a flat white which was very nice. Would recommend!
D. Y.
What a great place to go for pizza. Everything is eco friendly, no straws or single use anything. The pizzas were so good!!! I feel as though the menu could have a few more sides, fries maybe? Make the pizzas easier to share with a group, etc. But a very welcome addition to Betws-y-coed!
D. T. D.
Found this place not on the main road through town so take signs for car park and toilets.
Can park on car park opposite and walk 50yds or so nice eating area outside with roughly 6 double tables.
Orders to takeaway or can sit inside if they have space
Just order at the window take a seat and wait for your number to be called
Heard some people say it’s a little pricey if it’s a treat for now and then maybe not but large families on a budget might find it costly
Not your normal pizza shop so go and try and enjoy
A. A.
What a great pizzeria, in Betws-y-Coed. Everything is based around recyclable materials, all in support of the declining population of orangutans, chimpanzees, gorillas and all monkeys. It is a lovely place and the pizzas are all stone baked and delicious. You have to visit here - dogs are welcome too! Support the wildlife.
C. d. P.
I used to be a pizza chef and this is the best pizza since I used to cook them!
Proper sourdough wood fired goodness, very pleasant staff and environment 10/10 would recommend!
L. S. (.
This is the best pizza restaurant I have ever been to. What a place. Love the ethics. Love the ambience. Love the layout. Love the style. And everything it stands for. A real gem and something memorable. we will be back.
S. H.
You have to try this place, they have the best pizzas we've ever eaten. We had 2 vegan pizzas and they were outstanding. OK its not the cheapest but don't let that put you off, it's certainly worth it as a treat. So delicious.
S. P.
We drove in from London for the Platinum Jubilee holidays. A very centrally located pizzeria with plenty of outdoor seating. Parking in the area can be tricky at busy periods. Dog friendly. Very good pizzas. Having lived in NYC before and eaten great pizzas, we were impressed!! Good quality dough, tasty ingredients. We had the ‘white pizza’ with caramelised onions. Recommend.
J. W.
Good selection of Pizza (mine was delicious), also has Salads and some sweet treats like Cannoli. Nice selection of soft and alcoholic drinks (these are only served with food orders). Very friendly service. Plenty of seating both indoors and outside, and some of the outdoor seating is covered so the weather can't spoil your meal. Also an ethical restaurant which supports ape charities and encourages recycling, which is nice to see. Would happily return when next in the area.
D. S.
Great pizzas, friendly service and a good menu choice. Only the outside terrace seating was available and a 'take-away' service but then Covid times are still strange and perhaps the team were simply short of staff, it really wasn't an issue. Table wiping was DIY, again probably as the restaurant was only offering take-away and the tables didn't belong solely to the restaurant. Betwys-y-Coed doesn't have a plethora of places to eat and people were queueing for 45mins for standard pub grub at the Royal Oak, don't bother. Go to the Hangin' Pizzeria instead and support a small business.
P. C.
Great pizza and good beers. Service is excellent too. Forgot to add an extra on my pizza as I wanted and they added it on for free.
j. w.
Wow, what a find. Loved the atmosphere, the decor, the menu, the pizzas were delicious. If you're in the area you must visit. We loved it. Wish we had one in Nottingham.
S. C. A.
Been coming here for years as we’re fairly local to the restaurant, it’s our favourite place for wood fired pizza- we can’t find anywhere to better it! Staff are great and pizzas are delicious. Definitely recommend!
M. W.
This place gets the South African stamp of approval! The wood fired pizza is amazing! I had a glass of Pinotage, which tasted like I was drinking straight from the oak barrel, just the way I like it. Finished my meal with Malva Pudding, a real South African favourite 😃👌
T. S.
So.. decided to make use of summer in England which some people may frown upon.. After a 5 hours drive from London to this beautiful, quaint village. I was absolutely starving. Now since I’m muslim I was limited to halal options. After reading a little bit I found this “hidden” gem. Absolutely lovely margarita pizza. Even my mother loved it. Only thing I would add is a garlic and herb sauce to compliment this delicious, fresh cooked pizza! Great find. ..Manga!

Fabulous. We had a no. 7 pizza & houmous salad. Wonderful. Real ingredients, hand made. Friendly staff and very good prices.
C.
Banging pizza’s, one of the best tasting pizzas 🍕 I’ve ever had. Lovely staff and a real nice place to eat. If your in this area go here for your food 🤤 A⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
S. H.
In a village full of coffee shops, walking shops and chip shops this is something different, and awesome pizzas to boot. A huge outside seating area both under cover and in the sunshine. The cannellis are also worth a try!
J. B.
The best pizza you'll ever have. Great vegan selection. Cheerful staff. The Hanging Pizza is a very good reason to visit Betws y coed
C. A.
Amazing pizza place! Great vegan cheese and pepperoni and they had vegan garlic bread as well. One of the best pizzas I've ever had!
N. J.
Really good Stone baked pizzas in the heart of Betws y Coed. It's a takeaway, but with outdoor seating for about 40 under a glass canopy. Some of the profits go to orangutan and great ape charities.
M. K.
Awesome pizza. Actualy for us the best meal we had in Betws-y-coed. Authentic Italian pizza, great quality, super nice staff. Thanks guys for making our day after a miserable food experience in Porthmadog ;)
R. W.
Had a low gluten pizza, coeliac for 15 years and no reaction so even though they won’t guarantee GF they seem to be doing a good job. Best gluten free pizza I’ve had in a very long time.
M. H.
Great pizzas for a good price and good course. Nice outside area undercover to sit and eat. Bins were overflowing nearby though so wasps were an issue.
L. M.
Little bit of a wait time (probs 45 mins) but was sat in an undercover area with drinks, outdoor heaters and a really good atmosphere. Pizza was absolutely delicious, will definitely be back!
M. D.
If all gluten free pizzas were as good as this then I'd be a fat ba##ard! Finally somewhere that can make one that isn't the size of a cracker and actually tastes good. Amazing :)
K. K.
Hangin' Pizza serves the best pizza I've ever had in the UK! Not only are the crust and toppings delicious, but they hate pineapple on pizza as well (see photo) ;) The restaurant is nicely decorated inside. You pay a fair price and part of the profits go to charity which is saving the apes. Definitely recommend eating here for obvious reasons.
A. R.
Not bad. Could be more generous with the toppings. 10 of us ate together.
Don't have a typical pizzeria menu. More vegan/veggie focused.
g. e.
Beautiful tasty pizza with a vegan menu. Collects for Great Ape charities.
Service with a smile.
What more could you want?
A. R.
Low gluten base pizza was lovely and we swapped a couple of the toppings out so they was good and the sausage for the dog went down well too.
S. S.
Amazing place. The pizza is delicious, fresh and quick service. The terase is puppy friendly and even has doggy sausages.
*2 years later update: regardless of when you go there's always Q which just shows how amazing the pizza is there! So the service was slow this time, but the staff really friendly and personable although serving a huge Q they ask about your day and give you individual attention! ❤
O. D.
Service could improve but all of our pizzas, garlic bread, dessert was absolutely delicious- not greasy one bit and plus side it’s dog friendly!
C. G.
It was really good. However it does takes a while. Go with time to be on the queue and then waiting for the pizza!
Mine was slightly salty but partner's was good 👍
J. H.
Space was lovely to spend time in, pizza fantastic, lots of Vegan pizza options, incredibly friendly and helpful staff (Griff was our server and he seemed and absolutely top bloke, good chat and very attentive). Get yourself down here after a tough day rambling, you deserve it.
G. B.
Great pizza. Order took WAY TOO LONG, and crust a little thick, but otherwise quite nice.
K. F.
This is a great concept for a restaurant! Really tasty pizzas and very good service. Would definitely recommend.
M. M.
Great place, great people. The pizzas are incredible delicious and the goat cheese 😍 Please stop by if you are around, it worth it
L. E.
Lovely food, a selection of beers unique to the establishment, a cool vibe, friendly staff, we loved it. Plus you get a feel good factor because they support wildlife protection. Easily the best best to eat in town.
H. J.
Great pizza, great service. The pizzas where excellent the service was great, the craft beer s were excellent. However the wait was over 45 minutes from ordering to arriving at the table. In all fairness the server did inform us of the waiting time and we ordered a couple of beers while we waited. I think the wait stems from their popularity and the restrictions placed upon them by their small wood fired oven. A larger or second oven would alleviate the waiting times. The background music played while we were there was more intrusive than background and was a very heavy rock, with quite a few profanities which is perhaps unsuitable for a place where families with young children frequent. Pizza was amazing though.
B.
Hands down the best Pizza I ever had. Fast & fresh with friendly service and it was utterly delicious!
R. K.
First time dining here, very good pizza, good service and quick. Weather was nice so sat outside
m. m.
We had a pizza and some Connie's they were amazing
C. d. H.
Very tasty pizza. Reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. Some good beers and wines. Plus supporting charity. What's not to like!
J. J. M.
Never expected to find a great pizza place here! Great staff and service. Really good pizza. I'd definitely go again.
R. M.
Fantastic food staff what more can I sat even provide blankets for humans and dogs.
Even dog coats to keep them warm.
N. Y.
What a find! We were tired and hungry after a long walk, and this was an amazing place to recharge the energy. Pizzas are great, I especially recommend the one with goat cheese and caramelized onions, yum! The salad was good too.
M. N.
Staff were friendly, outside area was clean and the pizzas were possiblity some of the best I've ever had.
Well worth a visit after walking round the mountains
E. W.
Lovely gluten free pizza, service was slow but the food made up for it!
V. G.
Incredible pizzas. I cannot stress enough that if you are in the area you must go here for pizza.
J. B.
Great pizza, no skimping on toppings. Really friendly staff too.
D. D.
Went for dinner Saturday night, did have to wait 30 mins for a table but understandable considering the food. They do offer takeaway so you can sit outside if you want something quicker. No ability to book tables I don’t think so be prepared to wait. Nice selection of pizzas included 3 vegan options which is amazing for the area. I really enjoyed the pizza and would definitely recommend trying to stop by. The waiter we had was lovely as well, apologies and said he was new but incredible service! Can’t remember his name but was a young male.10/10
A. W.
Lovely little pizza shop tucked in with several other places along one of the most popular stretches of Betwys y Coed. Its very close to the main parking area. There is seating inside and out, and there is also a customer toilet. There is a serving window where you place your order, the staff were friendly and helpful. The pizza itself tasted fresh and not over complex, individual flavours were discernable and was all very tasty. Prices were reasonable for a touristy area, overall very satisfied.
A. C.
Fantastic pizza restaurant, nice quality and good beers, well worth a visit.
S. H.
Great food. Nice place to sit and people watch. Lovely little villlage with forest walks.
R. S.
Super cool place, clearly very popular. Love the animal charity and awareness side of the business. Sat and had a beer while we waited for our takeout pizzas to cook. Super tasty food. Better than any chain rubbish. Will be back next time we're in Wales. Might move there actually. Worth it.
C. G.
Great pizzas, sourdough bases, and loads of really flavoursome & generous toppings - all made as you wait. My daughter had a gluten free base which she also said was good. We're local so go quite often.
It is popular so be prepared to wait a while - yesterday, a Sunday in early April at 4pm) we waited 30 minutes. We were warned this is how long it would take so that was ok, but do factor that in if you go.
I give it a 4 not 5 stars as i think it is a tad expensive given its a take-away and you sit on wooden benches outside (×2 pizzas plus 2 soft drinks cane to over £28).
J. B.
The pizza was excellent. No dining in at the moment but covered benches with heaters outside. The place was very busy but worth the wait. Good selection of bottled craft beers along with soft drinks.
T. S.
All the food is outstanding, best pizza I have had in a few years.
Good service.
Happy staff.
hygiene very good.
Portion size maybe to large .
Garlic bread and salad was a meal for 2 in itself..
Can't fault at all this venue
S. F.
Great pizza. Great service, food was delicious and prepared quickly.
J. M.
Really well made pizza! We've eaten here 4 times in the last year and the quality is consistent. Highly recommend!
T. B.
The only go to place for pizza in snowdonia 😎
T. N.
Excellent pizza. Kind staff. Strange soft drinks
T. S.
Great service and staff alike can not do enough for you. Even provide blanket for you to sit out if you wish and pet blanket and even per coats to use.
P. B.
Great rustic pizza. Generous with the toppings and quick service. Whats not to like
A. C.
Pizza is great. Garlic bread is so so. The salad is good.
N. B.
Great pizza and lovely staff. Sat outside in their outdoor area with dog jumpers to do
J. L. M.
The pizza was ready in minutes and tasted amazing 👏 would 100% revisit
M. H.
Was ok. 2 pizzas fine. 1 was undercooked and doughy near middle and other 2 very oily. But nice taste just could be better but they were so busy with take aways I guess they were under pressure
Y. O.
Tasty fresh pizza, made to order, friendly staff. No unreasonable queues. All orders are "takeaway" with seating on picnic benches outside.
I. B.
Great food at a reaonable price and the staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you are ever in the area.
S. M.
Delicious pizza, perfect for a first night staying locally, probably wouldn't have eaten in as there was limited space but I did appreciate they have a large chest with blankets and cushions for sitting outside.
J. H.
Great pizza, also my wife cheese salad was marvellous.
C. P.
This place gets very busy at height of tourism and you can wait for an hour for meal but the pizzas are good .staff friendly you just have to be patient
E. H.
Incredible pizza - multiple vegan options including vegan sausage! Really tasty and reasonably priced.
W. W.
Been here I think four times now and it has never failed to be excellent, previously only had pizza but we had dessert this time and the Don Pedro was lovely. (Visited again in march 2022, still excellent)
M. H.
Been several times over several years, always excellent pizzas, always visit when visiting the area.
J. B.
Hangin' Pizzeria
June 2021
We were looking for some evening food after climbing snowdon and came across this pizzeria / cafe in the town of Betws-y-Coed on the way back to Chester. It is located right in the corner of the shopping development next to the railway station and clock. The cafe area was closed due to Covid-19. But you could order your pizza from a hatch in the wall and eat it on the picnic tables outside in front of the pay as you display car park. Watch out for the gnats when eating your pizza.
The pizza its self is excellent, handmade stone baked thin crust, served in a plane cardboard pizza box. The prices are average par for the course.
r. n.
They do the best pizza around.! Plenty of great options too for vegan and vegetarian. I also noticed they have now updated the outside seating area with heaters and optional side panels to the covered area...this is great as the inside is cosy but not huge.. definitely recommend a visit or take away!
D. D.
Quite a good stone oven pizza, could do with more toppings. Very quick to serve despite being rather busy. Definitely would recommend it for a quick bite.
M. G.
Absolutely delicious rarebit pizza and equally brilliant goat cheese salad . It’s 5 out of 5!
T. C.
High quality pizza, light base and tasty ingredients. Not cheap, but cheaper than a Hut for sure and far nicer!
B. A.
Best pizza in the uk I've had. Really good. Visited at lunchtime - order came really fast too and prices are reasonable.
D. C.
We were looking for something to eat at a random part of the day (3pm) and hangin pizzeria was open! We ordered a spicy salami, ham and chilli pizza and the one with garlic butter and goats cheese. They didn’t disappoint. The pizza with goats cheese was so tasty I think it was the best pizza I have tasted. They were a very good size made with a fantastic base and cooked well. Would recommend the food and service was quick and staff very welcoming and polite. Yum.
H. B.
Pretty good pizza, friendly staff, great outdoor heating and cosy indoors
H. P.
Amazing low gluten and vegan pizza with loads of delicious topping options despite dietary requirements!
p. e.
Pizzas were good, service a bit slow and clunky. We wanted to eat inside but told no reservations so had to wait. Asked if we could put our name down we were told they weren't doing that. So I said do we wait inside or in a queue and were told no as too full inside...so this left people hanging around unsure if they were queuing for food, waiting to grab a table as people left. In the end we opted to order and eat outside...1 hr wait for pizza. Pizza was pretty good.
H. H.
Lovely tasty pizza and garlic bread. Fast service, even had sausage for dog with us. Sat outside to eat we were fine but provided a basket of blankets if needed
G. H.
I've done pizza in Italy and the states. This place is up there with the best. Lovely people, lovely ethos, lovely beer, lovely pizza. People giving it less than five stars need to go to the doctor.
M. E.
Absolutely banging pizza and orangutan beer!! 🍻 My wife and I can't recommend Hanging Pizzeria highly enough!! the food is really good, freshly made, served hot each time. We had options 2 & 7 this week on two separate occasions and each time the food was absolutely delicious.. Alongside a great location, friendly and professional service this is well worth a visit.. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful town.. We are definitely coming back soon. Thanks guys and gals
L. E.
Friendly, great atmosphere, staff are helpful. Pizzas are delicious and a great Vegan variety.
M. P.
Cool place with seating outside. Good pizza base and local bottled beers 👍
T. S.
Absolutely fantastic. Great pizzas, lovely staff, attention to detail, selectively sourced ingredients, super atmosphere and a selection of grappas. Can’t recommend highly enough! Perfect final night out on our camping trip. Thank you!
D. P.
Great choice and amazing tasty pizza. We sat outside with blankets. Great to enjoy the fresh air.
E. B.
Pizza's were delicious, delivered in a timely manner even on a busy bank holiday weekend. Lovely selection of drinks to enjoy with the pizza. Well worth a visit
S. “. B.
Would highly recommend this place if you're in Betws y Coed. Got a couple of pizzas and a Greek salad and the quality of the food was excellent, possibly the best pizza I've ever had !! Will definitely be back 👍
C. J.
Lovely food! Great pizzas! Limited, but excellent wine choices. Friendly and efficient staff. Prompt service. Price good value.
But... It was snowing when we left 🤣
K. F.
If you like pizza and garlic bread, and that's all oh and salad well this is the place for you, my daughter, granddaughter and son in law enjoyed the food, me, well it was ok
A. W.
Amazing pizza, kids loved it too. Worth the hours drive from where we were staying
L. N.
Interesting pizza options
The place looks cute too
K. T.
Amazing pizza! Managed to beat the queues at 515pm and totally worth it!
J. P. L.
Lovely pizza, but let down by 45 minute wait for two take away🍕 pizza's at a non peak time
G. A.
Excellent quality value food and service. Supports outstanding causes. The income from sausages for dogs goes to very worthwhile causes. Will definitely visit again
C. D.
Delicious pizza, felt like we were sitting in a Mediterranean plaza
T. O.
Excellent Pizza and Greek Salad Bank Hol Monday but only had a 30 min wait. Well worth it. Delicious fresh pizza.
N. L.
Excellent pizza and very good coffee too. Highly recommend the flat bread and hummus!
P. P.
Great service, great surroundings and the food was awesome and the price was very reasonable. If you're in the area well worth a visit.
T. m.
Fantastic pizza. This place is a must if you like pizza, very well cooked with perfect flavours.
We got takeaway one night and ate in a few days later both times the food was good.
M. P.
Great vibe. Food would be 5 stara but ham was too salty. Would go again.
M. W.
One of the few places open a bit later in Betws-y-coed, last orders at 8:30 pm! Great pizzas and a really delicious Mediterranean salad, also committed to supporting animals and more sustainable practices.
M. C.
Decent pizza, very busy on a Saturday evening but they were coping well. Vegan options good, the vegan sausage option really quite cheeky!
J. B.
Wow! Had a pizza from here today whilst in Betws, absolutely perfect! Highly recommended.
O. B.
Lovely pizzas and fresh salads. Great service!
A. S.
Just had a takeaway pizza and humous salad, absolutely delicious 😋🤩
S. H.
We had the most delicious pizza and cocktail here. Well worth the wait.
R. L. S.
We absolutely love this pizza restaurant and everything it stands for. We travel quite a bit for it. ❤️
K. R.
Good pizza, great dirty mojito. Long queued but good customer service and communication from the team
N. P.
Cute pizza place in an adorable little village! Pizza was delicious (also had some of the Welsh rarebit pizza which was tasty too)!
S. L.
Amazing pizza, kind staff and nice outside area even for TA pizza 🥰 Highly recommend! 😉
T. M.
Great handmade pizza, very tasty. Location bright and clean
A. R.
Great place to eat indoors or out. Interesting and delicious choice of menu. Highly recommend
P. L.
We went to most of the food outlets in the town.
This was by far the best.
Coffee roasted to just the right level.
Generous portions of food.
Staff were very friendly.
Given this place a 5 out of 5 rating.
T. W.
Had to queue for take out, but enjoyed a beer on the tables outside while waiting. Pizza was really good - exactly what we needed after a day on the hills.
W. L.
Fresh hand made pizza in a great atmosphere. Excellent service.
F. F. H.
Fresh, yummy food in a lovely decor!
r. g.
Excellent place to meet, sit and chat with people you know and Don't, coffee is amazing especially with a little extra in
N. B.
One of the best pizza we ever had. Awesome place and view. Must visit when you are in Bets-y-coed
R. H.
So worth the wait to get an indoor table - too cold to eat outside with the baby, but the staff were very helpful letting us know when one came free.
The rarebit pizza is wonderful - will definitely be back!!
G. R.
Cracking pizza but lousy hospitality skills. Walked in, noone greeted us or said hello. Had to ask twice about where to sit before a petulant reply of *just sit anywhere*. So nearly walked out, but glad didn't.
R. (.
Brilliant place, nice different pizza style, full of flavour.
I was unsure about trying a zucchini base pizza but wow it was full of flavour.
They have Canolis too which were a nice after treat.
The place is very popular and I can see why.
There is an outdoor seating area, currently situated on the road outside (closed off).
Highly recommend.
g.
Not one for frequenting the local tourist trap at the weekend (especially a Bank Holiday weekend!) We found ourselves pining for a pizza in the old "Betsy Co-ed"
Pizza No3 was the choice at Hangin' Pizzeria. Goats cheese, caramelised onion & rocket. Straight forward ordering at kiosk, wait for your number to be shouted, which didn't take long at all given how busy it was. Generous helpings of all ingredients on a wonderfully wood fired pizza base, marginally let down by an overly liberal helping of Olive oil. They'd definitely gone a bit Jamie Oliver on it. Also slightly disappointed with the amount of litter knocking around on the floor, seeing as there are ample enough bins within yards of the tables. Not the fault of the Pizzeria I'm sure, but a shameful sight non the less 🤨
One star off for the DeepWater Horizon spill
H. L.
Great place to eat in and takeaway. Reasonable prices. Tasty.
I. C.
Lovely pizza, very swift cooking.
H. a. E. O.
Great ingredients good dough nice crust just needs to be a little thicker in the centre.
S. C.
Wonderful tasting pizza, love the amount of vegan options. Myself and my partner have been many times, was a slight wait this time but well worth it
H. T.
We almost didn't come here because it was soooo busy so we came back after looking around town. There was still a bit of a queue but it smelled amazing so we waited, didn't actually turn out to be that long. This was the best pizza we've had in ages!! Location and price was great, pizza was fresh and full of flavour. Really rate this place, 100% worth the visit and wait!
N. N.
Amazing authentic Italian pizza!
Customer service could be a bit better.
J. W.
Absolutely first class, hand made pizzas. A lovely dough, with a good crust and great toppings. What’s not to like! I had the vegan pizza with olives, artichoke, and cherry tomato. The pizza also had a courgette spread, which I know sounds a bit strange, but is a revaluation!! We sat outside in the sunshine and the atmosphere was great. Good friendly service from a young lad at the counter. Ohh and they do charity work for apes. All round good guys and good pizza.
C. F.
Fast service, even at busy times. Amazing pizzas at great prices. Outdoor, undercover seating is also nice
K. S.
Love it here, would definitely recommend. Lol Overly tasting pizza, lovely staff. Nothing to fault
a. m.
100% worth the wait. The most amazing pizza
C. E. R. D. C.
Nice Neapolitan pizza.
This an ideal stop for those hungry travellers as it's located in the train station area.
During busy periods it's a good option to consider as the town its small restaurant & pubs get fully booked easily you could take a take away pizza and eat it at the park just across the road.
The pizza is really good and shouldn't disappoint those pizza lovers. Match it with a nice local Ale 👌
K. B. (.
What a gem! This place was busy, but had tables outside so bring your coat as this place is not to be missed! Pizzas are delicious and great choice of veggie & vegan pizzas to suit everyone! Dog friendly inside & outside!
R. T.
Really friendly staff, the food was amazing. Fantastic vegan choice. A percentage of the price of a bottle of beer went to help endangered animals, so the more I drank the more I helped 😀 we really loved the place.
L. B.
Great pizzas and nice atmosphere. Staff are great very helpful and friendly.
B.
Loved hanging pizza
Pizza was fantastic spice
Can’t wait to go back
C. R.
Probably the tastiest pizza I've had in a long time! Great vibe, great service and friendly staff 👌 If you're in the neighborhood, you won't be disappointed!
A. D.
Fantastic pizza and friendly staff. Really quick service.Just takeaway at the moment but great if you're staying close by. Would totally recommend
S. F.
Great pizza, great relaxed service. Good for families/young children. Gets busy at the early rush hour around 6pm.
R. H.
Following a long walk in the Carneddau Mountains a selection of pizzas and a bottle of beer was exactly what we needed. We sat outside under cover with our dog and it was ideal. The pizza dough is excellent and all topped with fresh ingredients too. Very tasty and very prompt service too. Nice job guys!
S. G.
Great little place, nice atmosphere and the pizzas are fab, staff friendly and great value for money. Get there early though as it gets busy after 6pm. Will definitely be back when we are next in Betws y Coed.
N. h. R. (.
One of the best pizza's we've had in absolutely forever! And the guy on the tills was friendly, taking the time to exchange the time of day despite being super busy. A nice change from the 'too busy to be polite' attitude. And the cannoli have to be the best on the planet. Save a space for them. Finally the 30p sausages for dogs was an inspired touch for which my dog was very grateful :)
S. R.
Amazing pizza and great service. Would highly recommend this place and can't wait to go again.
A. P.
Busy place, first come first served, doesn't allow reservations, nice environment and the pizza is amazing!
J. G.
Loved it!! Great real pizza, service with a smile. Who could ask for more..
A. D.
First time in snowdonia. Was recommended this place by our camp guide and WOW absolutely no doubt in my mind that it one of the best pizzas we've ever eaten ❤ it was a extremely busy night, but the quality of all x3 pizzas was not compromised! When we come back to Wales this will definitely be a stopping point!! FANTASTIC 💯
E. H.
Such great pizza!!! Delicious and they have vegan options too. There are also a limited number of puddings available (cakes, etc.) if you have room!
Currently serving takeaways only but there are tables outside which you can sit at. However when we were there it was very busy and took our pizzas elsewhere to drink. Even though it was busy the service was superb and the wait was not too long at all. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the area. Also when they're open they're dog friendly which is a massive bonus and offer jumpers for your dogs to borrow supplied from the dog shop in town.
A. P.
Really expensive. Food was nice, but a little pretentious in its presentation: The apple crumble came in a takeaway cup!
The reply from the owner below says a lot about the positivity of the business.
N. H.
The shop was outside only due to covid, and they were short on staff. They let us know the food would be 45min late, but it was more like 1h30. I was still ok with this, as it was out of their control.
Fantastic pizza, but we missed the fact that the two pizzas we chose didn't have tomato sauce bases - our own fault really.
L. W.
Absolutely delicious freshly prepared pizza, eaten al fresco in their heated covered frontage, on a clear spring night in betws-y-coed. Friendly staff. Doesn't get much better than this 😊
G. F.
Brilliant authentic pizzas, bonus to have real cannoli.
C. 1.
Beautiful pizza, hummus and great service
v. r.
Best pizza in North Wales. Try their rarebit pizza it's amazing
H. H.
Best vegan pizza I've ever eaten in 8 years of being allergic to dairy. It's a go to whenever I'm in Betws. Super friendly staff and supporting a great cause too.
M. R.
A really nice place with great food, pleasant atmosphere and good service.
P. H.
The best pizza in the UK. There is no competition!
A. P.
Really nice lactose friendly pizza and coffee sat outside under the heaters. Not sure why you can't sit inside though? 🤔
T. G.
I come to Snowdonia once a year.
Never miss opportunity to try new menu here . Propably best pizza in this parts of the country .
C. N.
I had the goats cheese pizza with garlic bread. What was it like? Well I ate the whole lot myself and I'm proud of it if that helps? Delicious pizza, staff with great attitude, even the folks in the waiting area were friendly. 6 stars.
E. A.
Very tasty pizzas and top quality people!👍🏼 Totally recommended!❤
Y. S. G.
Disappointing
Why "yes"
1. Great margarita pizza
2. Great margarita pizza
3. Good espresso
Why "not"
1. Anything else in the menu is so disappointing-
If you write "greek salad " it should contain fresh cucumbers and tomatoes- not bunch of leftovers leaves and dried tomatoes.
2. Desserts are blend and tasteless
3. Not to much vegi options
Bottom line- eat the margarita pizza and not more
C. B.
Shared no3 pizza with the other half and it was delicious 😋. Lovely seating area outside perfect for an impromptu stop off.
C. B.
Grabbed a vegan pizza on a rainy day as we passed the window we couldn't resist. Didn't wait long and the pizza was exactly what we fancied.
R. H.
Super food, really great prices and a lovely venue
J. L.
Really great little place. It has a great atmosphere and the pizza here is the best I've ever tasted! No exaggeration. We sat inside and our two dogs were welcome. The decor is great and the prices are reasonable. I love that the ingredients are selected to cause the least harm to the environment and that a percentage of the profits go to charity... But if this doesn't bother you then you should visit just for the amazing pizza. I'll definitely be visiting again.
T. S.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, dog friendly, and epic pizza!!
J. S.
Best takeaway in Betws-y-Coed and one of best pizza places full stop! Pizza is delicious. Fresh ingredients, thin crusts, proper pizza ovens. Wait times can get long when it's busy on the weekends, but just grab a drink and relax on the park.
D. F.
Easy to order (Rona was still active at the time) so no indoor seating. Pizzas were pretty good, even better washed down with some beer! When it re-open check it out can't go wrong
S. H.
Fantastic place . Service excellent. Plenty of seating.
Choice of menu very good . Food itself was outstanding freshness of food and presentation was something special.
Take a visit !
V. B.
One window to order, one to collect (covid). Pizzas were ready in a reasonable time given the amount of people ordering. The choices were good, and tasted good. There were picnic benches to sit on eat or the park just across the road. Perfect for a quick, reasonably priced meal
E. C.
Really great pizza, a good range of vegetarian and vegan options too.
Outdoor and indoor seating available, as well as takeaway. Dogs welcome.
C. B.
Fantastic place. Order & Collection at two windows due to Covid at the moment. Beautiful pizzas, more than enough choice. Many Benches outside to eat or stroll over to the park 1min away & enjoy your pizza there. Plus I very much appreciated the fact that everything can be recycled via outside facilities, no waste needs to be left to litter this beautiful location. It's a must visit at least once if your in or around the village. I know now why Hangin Pizzeria comes highly recommended.
D. F.
Amazing food and cool vibe about the place. If it was on my doorstep I'd be a regular.
P. W.
Incredible pizzas.. Possibly the best we've ever had! Service was very prompt, with a waitress offering to clear down our table just as we sat down.. Drinks (gingerbread latte and hot chocolate) definitely hit the spot after jumping in to escape the cold and rain! It's an extra nice touch that the restaurant is associated so closely with wildlife conservation, and we decided to give a small donation following our meal! Would definitely come back or recommend it if we had friends visiting the area!
C. L.
Love it, great pizza and service and they have sausages on the menu for doggos 😀
L. H.
My partner and I were staying at Betws y coed for Snowdonia. We went for the reviews, and it didn't disappoint. I live in London and he lives in France, we both agree it's in the top 3 pizzas we've ever had. Have to say the meat pizzas were 5/5, perhaps the vegetarian options less up my alley but still great. Will definitely come here again, and will recommend it to those coming to the area.
A. A. S.
One of the best pizzas I have had. Great ambience.
S. H.
Amazing place, amazing food and all for an amazing cause! Didn't know before we went, but they are all about saving the monkeys, sustainability, plastic free. Cannot rate the food enough! Best pizza we've had in a long time. Family friendly, the kids enjoyed it. Please also pick up a bag of coffee logs for your wood burner...didn't even know they existed, but we bought a bag to try and were not disappointed, last for ages and good for the planet 🦍🐒🐵

Lovely food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere

We stopped here on the way back from Conwy. It was so worth it too. I have the zucchini base pizza, it was amazing and my husband recommends the meaty pizza (no7), my children shared the cheese and tomatoe which was plenty for a 9 and 10 year old. We waited in the ordering queue for about 10 mins then waited about 20 mins for our pizzas to be cooked. It was all so well done. We ate our pizzas on the field opposite with some cider, perfect!
K. M.
Brilliant pizza and lovely staff, highly recommended 👌
A. H.
The best pizza I’ve ever eaten. And that’s saying something
l. d.
Really tasty freshly made pizza. Fresh dough and ingredients. 10/10 for taste 👍
P. L.
Amazing food! The pizzas are 'proper' pizzas, and the goats cheese salad was delicious! (a whole goat's cheese on top 😋)
Staff were polite and efficient - and there's a good choice of pizzas.
I 100% recommend this place 😁
D. H.
Could do with more side options but a good pizza overall
S. H.
Very nice pizza with some interesting choices (I had Welsh rarebit pizza, which was a first). Long queues show how popular it is, but worth the wait. Tables outside all full so we sat in the park opposite and ate it.
S. C.
Been a few times here. The first few visits were amazing, but the last 2 times I've been we were disappointed. The pizza was EXTREMELY salty, I usually love salty savoury fishes but it was too much. The Greek salad is nice.
B. M.
We read about this place, and really were very glad we decided to go when we passed by. Honestly one of the very best pizzerias I've ever eaten in. It's very popular (for good reason) and they don't take bookings so we had to wait for a table - a bit of a down side I suppose.
However, the pizzas, the desserts and the delightful staff made this pretty inconsequential. It's completely unpretentious and very, very good - so if that sounds like your thing then you won't go wrong! : )
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that they support a very worthy cause as well, which will make your smile even wider.
K. K.
Delicious pizza and great atmosphere
C. _.
Great pizza, including delicious gluten free pizza. They also do vegan pizzas. Excellent friendly service too. Definitely recommend.
M. I.
Lovely pizza ,friendly staff
A. B.
Amazing!!! Delicious pizza and friendly staff. Thank you.
J. M.
Great vegan pizza options, and lovely staff! My pizza was missing basil, but didn't realise until we'd walked to our picnic spot. Still delicious, though.
D. S.
Incredible and the Orangutan and Chimpanzee charities work is the best
a. h.
High quality food very friendly staff an establishment with ethics a rare thing in deed.
A. W.
Best pizza ever! Welsh rarebit with beef carpaccio, absolutely delicious!
A. A.
Loved it here on our holiday! Great veggie and vegan options too.
D. H.
Fantastic pizzas. Ready early. Can't fault it.
K. G.
Possibly the best fast food pizzeria in the area. Proper Italian base and a good range of toppings. Recommend calling ahead to place your order rather than just showing up. You could be queuing for a while otherwise.
S. L.
Very accommodating staff and the best pizza ever .
Our meals where fantastic ,The staff made our meal time fun.
K. L.
Amazing food, so many choices with an inventive menu, instead of the same-old, same-old you get everywhere else. Even the veggie and vegan food is good which is a rare occurrence nowadays. Great staff, quick, efficient service plus a fantastic range of beers and wines as well as other more unusual beverage choices. All-in-all a fantastic place. We went both nights of our 2-night stay and didn't regret it for second. Top-notch.
S. D.
Awesome pizza and quick service despite how busy it was. Currently only doing take away but plenty of table space outside to sit at.
G. K.
The best pizza around and lucky for us only 15 minutes away! Well worth a visit if you are staying in the area, we recommend many people here and you will not be disappointed!
Great menu, fabulous food, happy and friendly staff, DOG FRIENDLY in the most perfect setting with awesome decor! Our first choice of places to eat in the area! Thank you guys, well done, keep up the great work!! See you soon, Sarah.
T. R.
One of the best pizzas I've had in ages!! The whole town was booked solid, but if anything it tasted even better after the hour long wait.
D. W.
The food is amazing, despite what some may see as high prices, its definitely worth it and quite possibly the best pizza I've had in the UK. We will definitely be returning next time we visit the area.
J. L.
Lovely pizza and the atmosphere was nice as well. Would come again
A. S.
Fantastic pizza, great service! No inside service when we visited, but plenty of table space outside and the sun was out.
T. G. (. L.
Great team and super tasty fresh made pizza and other things!
P. P.
Excellent pizza. Great informal location. Very easy to order. Good location
A. S.
Great impromptu place to eat but be prepared to wait..... It is popular and orders are taken one at a time..... Grab yourself a cold cider though whilst you wait .... We came at 7.30 on a Friday and waited about 50 mins for collection.... Great tasting food - proper pizzas made by hand.....
E. B.
The pizzas are huge !! We ordered 2 and could have easily shared 1 and would have been full. Luckily you can take it home with you if you donate 20p for a box (going to a good cause and seems a very good idea to help raise more money for the charity). My partner absolutely loved the pizza but for me it was very rich in flavour. We also tried the cannolis which were very tasty. You can tell the restaurant is very passionate about the charity and the quality of the food which is really nice to see - it would be nice if more restaurants was like this!
D. T.
Great pizza, well organized layout, lovely staff.
V. A.
Cute rustic place eat in or outside on tables provided, unusual flavours with a sour dough base. Worth a visit.
R. S.
Vegan pizza - excellent
Meat pizzas - excellent
Side salads - excellent
Service - excellent!
Perfect way to end our three day trip to Snowden!
D. W.
Amazing food in lovely location. The restaurant interior is so interesting & the pizza was the best I've had
M. B.
Fantastic, best pizza I've had anywhere in the UK! Staff was great, and even found something my very particular mother and daughter not only would eat, but LOVED. Vegetarian and vegan options, and eco-conscious for this who care about that. Good location, comfortable large tables, and really nicely decorated. Must visit!
k. g.
This is a must-go if you're in the area. We had a pizza and a flat bread and they were both impeccable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food came out very surprisingly fast and to top it all off they're all about environmental sustainability.
Wouldn't surprise me if this is the #1 pizzeria in Wales.
B. H.
Great pizza. toppings a bit sparce compared to other pizza pics from here. Ordered no.8. £11 would go again, great taste
j. h.
The pizza is incredible and is made so quickly! It has a great vibe. Environmentally friendly and lovely staff. Run by the same people who run the alpine coffee shop down the road and has a similar vibe but in a restaurant habitat. Beautiful decor!
B. K.
Tasty pizza but not that many types that I'd normally go for.
E. 6.
Really good pizza not badly priced, 2 pizzas will feed 4 people! Still excellent on our second visit 6 months later, highly recommended
J. C.
Best Garlic Bread I've ever had 5**
L. P.
OMG! Their pizzas are the best I have EVER experienced! Cooked fresh in a large pizza oven, that you can see. And the extras were so tasty. Every drink you order goes toward saving the Orangutan, and the Gorilla. And they sell other animal friendly products. It's hip, busy, and very friendly. We. Need. More. Like. This in Britain. And it wasn't over the top in prices, unlike pizza express! I will be back. One problem. The food is so nice, so do not order too much, or you will have to box some up.
G. B.
Great pizza in a beautiful setting! The vegetable pizza was very tastey! Also tried the Welsh rarebit, it was good but I prefer the more conventional toppings. Garlic bread was ace too.
S. F.
Lovely vibe and strong values. All staff were super helpful. Dog friendly. Superb wood fired pizzas. Ethical choices on the menu and great veggie/vegan options. Heated seating outside if you can't get a table indoors. Can't wait to go back... Looking for an excuse to visit Betws y Coed again soon!
W. J.
Very good pizza, a well presented place with good and efficient service
L. W.
You must go here if you're in the local area, or any part of North Wales it's definitely worth the drive, the pizza's are amazing, a proper authentic style high quality pizza. I had the welsh rarebit pizza which was gorgeous, and my girlfriend had one of the vegan pizza's which she loved.highly recommend.
P. B.
After time in the mountains what could round the day off better than good food... well good pizza actually! Terrific place.
M. M.
It's the best food spot in the area, high quality of ingredients from the tomato sauce, to fresh mushrooms, an exquisite basil pesto and a dough to die for. Easily comparable to London pizza places! Simply amazing!
C. P.
Really delicious hot, fresh, thin and crispy pizzas. Restaurant quality food - it's not fast food style despite being takeaway currently due to COVID. Worth a visit, recommended.
M.
Fresh and great tasting pizza, quick service, very relaxed atmosphere and great large outdoor space to sit and enjoy the food. Also really nice desserts, I especially recommend Don Pedro!
K. R.
Pizzas are absolutely amazing, as are the iced lattes! Fast, friendly service, good range of toppings, sheltered outdoor seating, bliss on a hot summers day on the way back from Snowdonia.
V. H.
Absolutely loved this place. The best pizza I've ever tasted! Good outdoor area, fast service even though there was a big queue. Friendly staff, and a good attitude to the environment. Vegan options, no plastics, donations to a worthy cause. Couldn't fault it. A real 'feel good' place.
E. M.
Had two great pizzas for lunch including a low gluten one and was delicious. Highly recommended. Got salads for dinner to bring back and still delicious.
R. L.
Lovely pizzeria with a hipster vibe. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced for the quality of the ingredients. In the evening they set up more tables outside and it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere but it gets very busy so a 20 minute wait for your pizza can be expected. All of the staff are very friendly and it's very dog friendly too!
D. W.
Fabulous pizzas, relaxing eco-friendly vibe. Very fast service and a good selection of beer
F. R.
Great vibes, great music, great food. Great place!
D. M.
Just eaten pizzas from above restaurant, who are offering a takeaway service. We had a zucchini pizza and ham and mushroom one, thoroughly enjoyed both. Will definitely order from here again. Excellent.
A. S.
The best pizza I ever had in UK
S. B.
Great pizza good service bit disappointed with garlic bread but then again I love loads of garlic and not to everybody's taste
n. c.
Literally the best pizza i have ever had and i've been to Italy. If you are in the area you must try this place. Screw it even if you aren't you must try it, get in your car wherever you are and go here now. Salad was also the best salad i have ever had. Can't fault a thing.
N. W.
Great place. Lovely pizza. Friendly polite staff. Highly recommended. .
A. J.
Delivious pizza especially the welsh rarebit and very cute ambiance
T. H.
Very busy and pizza OK. Had much better and also worse. Nice venue sitting outside in the hot weather.
I would be nice to meet the owner at the Pizza Exhibition in London in September.
T. L.
Great place, nice service and quick. A tad bit expensive but still worth it.
R. D.
Amazing pizza! Really modern and interesting menu, not what we were expecting in a little place like Betws y Coed.will definitely go again if we’re in the area.
N. K.
Amazing pizza! One of the best I've had in a while. super fast and very friendly service.
N. P.
Let me start by saying the worst thing about this place is trying to get a table, we spent around half an hour or so waiting to sit to get or food but we were glad we did. We are a family of 5 with 3 boys (4, 8 & 10) and we all enjoyed the food and drink here. Unfortunately we knew that our 4 year old wouldn't eat a whole pizza and there is no kids menu so we did ask for a smaller pizza but they only do 1 size, they offered a half and half but this wouldn't work for us due to the older 2 being able to eat a whole one each but this wasn't a major issue. The selection of pizzas on offer was good, and there was the option to customise them with a good selection of toppings, at an additional cost. We all found a pizza we wanted, and we all really enjoyed them. The cost wasn't to bad either, although some may see it as on the expensive side, but they are trying to support the decline of orangutans in the wild so the price is justified. We asked to take away the few slices we had left which they were happy for us to do, all they asked for was a donation towards the charity for the box to put it in, which we were happy to do. I'd highly recommend this place to any pizza lovers out there.
F. E.
Probably some of the best pizza I have had. The location was really lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. There was a great range of pizza to choose from, and a good selection of salads and sides. Prices were good and It was so tasty we went there two nights in a row.
M. S.
Wow, huge good quality 12" pizza. And they support the local Ape charity :)
S. W.
The food was excellent, good traditional style wood fired pizza, but there was a bit of a wait (45 mins total) on a sunny summer's evening.
Y. B.
Lovely tasty pizzas. Very environmentally conscious and are raising money for various great apes causes.
Wines looked interesting but as was driving later didn't try!
Lots of interesting and unusual teas!
C. C.
Great pizza (they also have pasta) in a lovely spot; the decor, the atmosphere and the service were all great. And you can feel great about eating there too as they support ape conservation and look to ensure their supply chain for ingredients is sustainable and ethical. You can also buy branded alcohol/ coffee cups etc. to take home.
J. D.
Very good pizza and good options. Pleasant ambience. Kinda ideal for getting carb-filled and happy after a day out in the wild.
J. A.
This place does the most wonderful pizza and pastries. The pizza was the best I have ever had, highly recommend number 10 with a bit of chilli oil drizzled over!
Dog friendly in and outside, with the option to buy a sausage for your furry friend, with the 30p going to charity.
g. b.
My oldest said it was better than Johnny Doughs - HIGH PRAISE INDEED.
One minor suggestion, get some soft drinks on tap, 2.50 for those small bottles is outrageous, come on you know they are.......
J. B.
Great little pizzeria, perfect after a long day hiking around Snowdonia. We sat inside and liked seeing the pizzas being made. An unusual drinks selection, which adds to the charm. Car park located opposite is very convenient.
C. C.
Great pizza and drinks options and most importantly all for a wonderful cause! A very cool setting and interior in the heart of Betsy-y-coed. The staff were very friendly and there was a great buzz around the place. When we are passing through we will definitely stop again.
B. B.
Probably the best pizza I had in the UK. Very casual atmosphere, maybe a little bit too casual if you are looking for a more "restaurant-y experience", although the pizza is so good you'll be happy to compromise on comfort. Prices are reasonable, especially given the top notch quality of the ingredients, and the staff is super friendly.
Highly recommended.
M. L.
Very weird pizza naming, but taste is quite decent
E. A. B.
Absolutely fantastic. Child friendly. Amazing pizzas.......great decor xx
L. H.
Excellent pizza, atmosphere and values! Loved how popular this place is and really good choice of food (even for vegans) with a brilliant message behind their story. Nothing they serve, even the drinks, contain palm oil. Would highly recommend!
B. C.
Stopped by on the way back from a leisurely stroll up Snowdon in gale force winds and 10m visibility. Amazing pizza. Definitely worth a visit, even of you can't be arsed climbing a mountain.
M. B.
Excellent food and service well worth a visit.
E. T.
This is an absolutely fantastic restaurant, it is well suited for every age, and suited for every dietary requirement. The food is fresh, absolutely delicious and the service is extremely fast. The service provided by the staff is wonderful and they are all kind. I would highly recommend this to everybody, it is wonderful. The price is amazing for the amount and quality of food that you receive. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful and they are very strong promoters of eco friendly items and they have many different facts about the environment around the restaurant. Would not change anything. Keep up the good work. 👍🏼
S. E.
Excellent food, cozy feel, and a good range of drinks. Raises money for ape conservation, and also has a strong ecological ethos. Prices are pretty reasonable, and you can. See them making the pizza from scratch, which is pretty cool.
C. S.
Travelled far and wide, this is definitely the best pizzeria I've been to. An unexpected hidden gem in Wales! Great ethics, great staff and phenomenal food with a great variety of soft drinks. Also great for small children!
h.
Very good loved the rabbit pizza nice and chill place sat out side whit the dogo
H. C.
Love this place. It’s changed a lot since it first opened but it’s perfect for quick, yummy pizzas. They do takeaway and sit in - perfect sitting in the sun or sheltering from the rain. It does get very busy but staff are always understanding and welcoming!
P. G.
Atmosphere great and funky, large tables for sharing and getting a chance to meet new people. Pizza is decent, about equivalent of a good pizza street vendor. Sauce a bit lacking on flavour. Hence only 4 stars.
P. P.
Really on point with food, decor, buzzing atmosphere and service. Shared a welsh inspired pizza and a goat cheese salad that was very tasty and reasonably priced. They have an ape conservation angle on the whole place which adds a feel good dimension when you know the proceeds of the craft orangutan lager goes to charity.
J. W.
Pizza was very good but we had to wait over an hour and a half after ordering to get the food.
They did warn us before ordering that it would be over an hour so not too bad.
T.
Lovely food and very friendly staff! The pizza was so fresh and tasty, I'd definitely recommend! Very nice atmosphere as well.
Thanks for the great dinner and awesome beer :-)
G. M.
Pizza was good, long waiting time.
D. P.
Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Pizza was nice although there wasn't a great deal of toppings ham chorizo, basil and cheese was about the sum total. Note that they are thin pizzas not deep pan and are cooked in a traditional flame heated pizza oven. Prices were reasonable with a 12" pizza costing between £6-10 and cards were accepted. Drinks choice was a variety of bottled drinks and cans such as cloudy lemonade and traditional cola. The place makes a noticeable effort to reduce environmental impact by not using straws and supports ape conservation hence the name and theming inside the restaurant. The major cause for concern for me was that the food hygiene rating was 1/5 requiring 'major improvement' this I thought was extremely disappointing since my local take away can manage a 4/5 and since upon checking previous reviews this was the case 8 months ago. This is somewhat surprising since you can see the kitchen from inside and it does not look particularly untidy. Maybe this rating would change upon re-inspection?
P. R.
Good choice of pizzas, service usually pretty quick. Always stop by when I'm in town.
P. B.
We'd just had a day out at zip world and fancied a quick bite, this was the first choice we could find, we tried booking a table but was told to turn up instead as it was really busy, we got there and boy was it really busy, the line was all the way out side the door (from experience that's a good sign of good restaurant) food smelt lovely waiting in line, atmosphere was buzzing, food was cooked fresh. We had a couple of pizzas, the hummus starter and the garlic bread, food was good and the staff really helpful and friendly. We'd definitely be coming back to this restaurant.
I. D.
We had a no.3 pizza to share. Excellent thin crust 12" ham and cheeses. Craft beer, with some of the price going to animal welfare charities. Decor has character. Will definitely go again when we're in Betws y Coed.
P. Y.
The pizza very tasty and a portion is enough for 2 people. The dough of the pizza has been kneaded very thinly. I love the baked mushroom especially. Very healthy selection of lunch. Must try if you are there.
C. B.
Lovely pizza was busy inside so we had to take away, so glad we did!
J. M.
I've been a regular here since it opened and usually their vegan and veggie pizzas are lush, however having ordered 2 takeaway pizzas last weekend we were disappointed with our order. In fact half of each ended up in the bin. Hopefully the quality will return to normal by our next visit otherwise it will be our last.
J. R.
Amazing food with really well mannered and polite staff. The lad who served us had excellent customer service skills and would definitely recommend this place. Also fab options for vegans.
J. B.
Lovely pizza but long wait. Waited 1 hour 30 mins for two 12 inch pizzas. Great staff, very helpful and polite.
R.
Nice flavours, needs a thinner Neapolitan base on a lowe heat to stop edges burning for a 5 star review.
N. C.
Great homemade pizza in a really cool and vibrant setting. Hangin' Pizza has a conscience too; using local produce where possible, supporting overseas charities and also ensuring zero palm oil in their products. So it's a good choice if you want to eat ethically. Tasty food, good local beer all at a reasonable price (ball park £9-12 per pizza, £10 for a salad as main meal, £4 for a half litre of beer at time of my visit July 2019).Only slight issue was the queue to order......but good things come to those who wait. This is why they're soooo busy!
S. M.
Fabulous - even when sooooo busy. Great to be able to queue and sit under cover. Delicious pizza - try Welsh Rarebit very tasty thanks to leek and mustard
J. G.
We've been to Hangin' Pizzeria so many times now, it's the best pizza in the area. Wood fired and all amazing ingredients. You can add other ingredients to what they've already put together, but you can't go wrong with adding anything because they've fairly cleverly put a good selection of ingredients together.
Ingredients is no longer a word...
Highly recommend.
R. W.
Very welcoming staff - we came as we had noticed they served vegan pizzas earlier in the day. The pizza with a wine was the perfect way to finish off a day of trekking round Betws-y-coed! Will come again
Z. P.
Incredible pizza! If you save a few slices (which is possible as good size) it makes a delicious lunch on a walk the following day. This pizza got me up Snowdon
S. M.
Really tasty pizza & friendly staff 😃
J. R.
This is a bit of a hidden gem, situated off the main strip but so glad I found it. The Pizzas are made in a very similar way as they are in Napoli, the tops are adventurous and the service is very friendly. If you are a pizza fan and you are in the area it is a must, plus there are not a lot of choice of place to each in the area.
T. P.
The food here is lovely but expect to queue to order and there is a bit of a wait for food. Most of the seating is outside so the blankets are a must at this time of the year if you can get one. Some sort of outside heating would be good.
A. S.
Awesome pizzas, had a gluten free, goats cheese and blue cheese and mozzarella 😋
C.
Found this place while exploring the village and just say the food was beautiful. A little pricy but gorgeous!!!
I. S. R.
Best Pizzeria in North Wales. No....Wales. No, Britain! ..No!. Ah..no.. best in Britain & Ireland.
The animal welfare provenance of the Charcuterie is traceable & ethically sound, and everything else on & in the pizza is of a very high quality.
The restaurant is well appointed and interesting too; with attention and care given to style, detail and maintenance.
Probably too pricey for a family to go, in my opinion; except for a treat; but given the quality & choice, this pizzeria offers value for money, for a couple.
There are other good pizzas to be had elsewhere, in Betws y coed; and in the world; of course. I'm just saying...
A. S.
Great pizza and friendly, quick service! Perfect after a trip up Snowdon or any of the many nearby peaks.
D. B.
Best pizza in over 30 years. Great wine, beer and service too. Casual vibe and decor. Great photos on walls of endangered apes and the business supports the cause of saving them.
N. S.
Amazing food! Excellent charity to save apes around the world!
L. H.
Really delicious pizza! Nice, relaxed atmosphere too.
