Lovely lunch special. Mussels with a supplement, half and half to share with my partner then we got ice cream which was so creamy and pavlova. Yum! Definitely worth the trip from Glasgow.

I go here every time I visit my family, it almost feels like a Giffnock institution, and for good reason. They just changed the name (from Andiamo to LUCALI). The food was amazing, far better than most 'Italian' places I've been to. The staff were slightly inexperienced, but they more than made up for it in friendliness. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the area!

My first time dining here and everything was delicious. Staff very friendly. My husband who is not a keen pasta fan, loved his Mexican pasta, clean plate. I tried the pizza based sanwich with spicy chicken and chips, a big portion for one person, but lots of helpers to help me finish my plate.

The Linguine with crab meat, lemon and chilli was divine! Pizza with ham and mushrooms also very good. Great menu with plenty of Naepolitan pizza and pasta options, focaccia, and more. Would definitely go back and try more dishes!

Came here last week for dinner - service was very average (one waitress really lovely and chatty the rest were average at best). Starters were really nice - bruschetta and focaccia both lovely, however, we both ordered pasta for mains and they were very poor - carbonara was so oily and the rigatoni salsiccia was not very nice with the pasta almost hard. Had been so looking forward to trying here based on the good reviews, but after that experience it’s highly unlikely I’d return.

Great meal had at Andiamo tonight 👌🏼 the special of scallops with lemon foam 🍋 wow - amazing!! Delicious sea bass for main (so fresh)... not sure how after the filling main; but did manage to squeeze in a slice of the homemade tiramisu to share with my partner - delightful 😋 can’t beat homemade cake 🍰 . First visit to Andiamo exceeded expectations, food delicious and service & atmosphere 💯 (10/10 for the safety procedures in place for covid) ...will definitely be back to try more of the menu! Absolutely brilliant this evening, very busy and the staff were so friendly, efficient and helpful. The refurbishment is beautiful. The food was the best I’ve had for a long time. So fresh and such an exciting menu compared to other Italian restaurants. Very innovative. Love that it’s not just a lunch / evening restaurant but you can now have breakfast or simply coffee and cake. Can’t wait to go back again. Keep up the good work everyone.

Visited last week. Food was excellent but service left a wee bit to be desired. We were left waiting at the entrance for a good five mins before anyone acknowledged our arrival, my personal pet hate. Bottle of wine removed from the table even though we'd ordered the bottle. Coffees left on the counter after ordering for five mins or so and consequently they were a bit cold when we got them. Just wee things but enough to be annoying.

Food fine. Portions small. Staff seemed to have lost control and their calm. Lost our booking, and managed it poorly. Only mitigation is 1st Saturday after move to level 2.. drinks expensive too. Was a regular at Andiamos for many years. Will need to consider if we return or look elsewhere.

Service was a bit slow. When we all finished our food the plates etc were all sitting with us for around 45mins and we had to chase up for them to be taken away and to get a dessert menu. Pizza was nice. My slight complaint would be the toilet situation. There is only 1 and there is hand washes available in the form of more 'luxury" but from inspection I don't think they are anti-bac and that could definitely be something to include given the pandemic! I would still recommend if you fancy some pizza or even Nutella pizza!

Great, had meal outside, waitress was friendly, efficient and great service for restaurant. Disappointed with a starter as it was unexpectedly not what we wanted so ordered another dish, but manager came out and said waitress mentioned it was not as expected and gave 2nd dish, and said 1st dish has not been charged, thank you, next time we'll order 2nd dish right away, it was amazing, overall meals were great and pleasant experience.

Booked Andiamos for our Ruby wedding do. They were incredibly helpful from the get go. Devised a fixed price menu for us with loads of choices for 11 adults and 4 kids. The service was excellent with the courses arriving for everyone at the same time. Price was very reasonable for the occasion.

Food taste for the price essentially I would say 3*. Otherwise staff were excellent & considerate. Orange juice was refreshing. Flavours of the salmon dish I felt were mismatched & didn't agree with my taste.

Service good. Spagetti meat balls very good as per my friend but however I was disappointed slightly with veal with Parma ham . Creamed potatoes and veg delicious. Only ordered veal to try thinking it would be more tender. Am familiar with how young calves are farmed and don't agree with same. But on this occasion I was tempted to try . Staff very pleasant.

We have just had a lovely lunch. Their two courses for £9:95 was excellent value. Good choices of starters and mains. I had muscles in tomato cream sauce served with garlic bread. A meal in itself and delicious. Daughter had rice balls for starter followed by ravioli for her main which said was delicious. I had pollo carbonara, chicken breast and parma ham served in a creamy mushroom sauce with new potatoes, carrotts and green beans. It was lovely. We had soft drinks and ample cold water to drink (and no charge for water in spite of a previous negative reviewer) was a nice lunch all round with efficient but not intrusive service. We sat outside on seating as was a lovely sunny day. 😎

This restaurant is always a must every time I travel to Glasgow. The penne arrabiata with chicken is cooked to perfection, definatly one that I would recommend, pasta cooked just right, so so tasty, perfect italian taste, not forgetting the olives as sides.. great little place, staff so friendly and attentive to your needs,clean restaurant,parking available on side streets..prices very reasonable and decent filling portion sizes.. would recommend..👌🍷

Visited Andiamo in Giffnock on a Wednesday night leading up to Christmas. Although the food was good, our table was put off by the restaurant owner / manager. This is our second visit to Andiamo where we had experienced the same issues with this person but just thought it was an off night. Once again we found him rude and not welcoming and for this reason we wont be back!!
