Very different and a nice change from the normal curry style. Good home style food, cooked slowly with care for a rich and tasty meal. Generous portions and some incredible special dishes. Very relaxed.

Even though the confusion that happened later, staff are extremely friendly. The man who took my order was very helpful and nice. He explained the menu well and made suggestions. Can’t fault the food. Tender, flavorful and tasty. Wanted to order dessert and tea but unfortunately no one came to take the order. After the man who took my order had left, they kind of forgotten about my table. So this takes off one star. A second star is off due to the manager’s lack of action towards handling such situations. I am still planning to visit again. My next visit might be to try their desi breakfast and desi chai.

We just went Glasgow for a wee trip. Really liked this place. The cost of food is totally worthy. Been to several places in Edinburgh but no where I find this type of cheap and delicious food. They pakora is really fresh. Haleem and Mandi is outstanding. Totally good place to visit if your in Glasgow. So shame they don’t have desserts on my visit. Apart from that really great place for food

What an absolute delight. The ambience was magnificent with sub-conitnental soul which was amusing. Food was close to perfect, ordered mixed grill, chapli kebab (a peshawari special) , chicken biryani, and chicken karahi. Everything percetly cooked and equally tasty. Pricing and serving quantity was very better than expected. Last but not the least service was a bit slow but that was probably due to Sunday evening in the heart of Glasgow; I give the staff full credit for handling the number of customers professionally with a smile. All the food "halal". Very close to Glasgow Central station. 💯 Recommended.

Delicious and sumptuous food. Original afghani/peshawari taste. Big portions. Had ordered kabuli pulao and charsi lamb karahi both of which were amazing and free kahva to top it off. Desi kheer available as a sweet dish. Highly recommended. I hope they consider opening branches up further north/west like isle of skye where there is hardly any desi/halal option available. Last night in the NOOR kebab house Falkirk we had meeting and 27 Restaurants and takeaway owners were invited and 7 well experienced chefs were in party . We ordered meal from Namak Mandi Glasgow , To be Honest food was amazing and everyone in party so surprised how much food was so delicious. Feel like we are sitting in Peshawar pakistan. Staff and Owner both very friendly and real professional peoples .very reasonable price . Some friends again demanded same food for tonight so ordered again . A place for good Pakistani food in Glasgow. Tried Lamb Chapli Kabab and lamb karahi. Both were good. For Karahi they need to use less Spices. Afterwards had Suji ka Halwa which was excellent. Need to improve upon cleanliness.

Some items are good for the price such as the rice and curries. We ordered the pizza special which I wouldn't recommend, & the kebab platter was good but expensive with not much on it, even though we asked & were advised it would fill all 5 of us (more like 3 at best). The chapli kebab was great. You require to request salad as it's not brought otherwise. Overall the food taste was ok, and service was a bit slow & they mistook one of our orders with another. We were seated in the next room. Unfortunately I didn't see why all the hype and overpriced I'm my opinion. I believe they can improve their potential by just focusing on the simple basics.

Stopped here for a meal while passing through Glasgow and while food was not extraordinary, it was pleasantly flavored, mild and fresh. Comparing to an average Afghan/Asian restaurant in the region I was not disappointed. Also clean and spacious. Parking is limited which is not surprising for a restaurant in the center of city.

Went to namak mandi for a sunday brunch - what a delightful experience. Tried paya, chicken handi and lamb handi. As appetisers, had their chapli kebabs and lamb chops. Paya was the star of the show - amazing flavour, and it tasted on point with some plain naans. The other dishes were good too, especially the chapli kebabs - they melt in your mouth. The only let down were the chops - a bit too salty and overcooked. Ambiance was decent, and it was easy to find parking around.

Namak Mandi is having a Majlis, Majlis is a place where you take your shoes off and climb onto little platform by the door to eat in a cross legged and authentic fashion. Typically Pakistani and Afghani style and moreover the variety of halal food served from Pakistani to Afghani cusine are amazing. They are the Naan Specialist (Pakistani Bread or Chapti). If you are foodie than you must try this restaurant.

The food had an Authentic Peshawari taste. The afghani pulao was one of the tastiest I've tasted. Very busy and popular restaurant but with very prompt service. Me and my wife tried chicken Karahi and garlic naan for our launch menu. We chose that menu specifically because we had tried that 2 years back and that combo was great. Even though we have noticed a change in the menu and price was little bit high but it was worth paying for this combo. Staff named Nabya was very nice and she served everything nicely and quickly to us. Definitely worth going there again to try out chicken Mandi.

From the outside it seems like a small space but it's it's actually very spacious inside. Excellent excellent food, real taste of what's its it's like back home. Had such good nehari and naan after a very long tibme. Service is excellent with very polite and hospitable staff. Made us feel at ease. Complementary salad is always a plus point. 1 star minus as I think a little bit more can be done about cleanliness especially the toilets. Maybe also put on some Pakistani tunes. Otherwise no big issues. Would definitely recommend for some quality food.

I was there after a long day going around Glasgow and the surrounding scenery. Me and the rest of my family were famished thought that we should find a place to eat. Since we have an elderly person with us, we needed a place with ample parking spaces nearby, which this place definitely had. When we went in, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They had amazing food. They had both great vegetarian and non vegetarian options. They also had some tea after we ate which was great. The reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was because their mix grill platter wasn't very filling, it didn't have enough for home much it cost it could either be cheaper or have more on the plate. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a hearty meal for a family.
