Excellent service. Friendly, efficient, and courteous. Dinner was delicious. We had pesto dough balls and jalapeno doughballs, which were lovely, however it's back to the doppio next time because we love duelling over the dipping sauces. OH had the Calabrese as per usual and I had American Hot Romana (which he 'helped' me with). Pizza by the water with an Aperol Spritz. Last time I did that was in Venice - though we couldn't pay for that one with Tesco vouchers :)

I've been in Pizza Express a few times now and each visit has been positive. The pizzas are made fresh and you even watch them being made! The selection of toppings is very good and includes some interesting choices. The staff are very nice, patient and understanding. Nothing is too much for them. They are very accommodating for people with additional needs like me. There are very often quiet spots they can seat you in, particularly downstairs where they don't normally seat other customers. The seating is very nice and even has an outdoor area which on a nice but not boiling day is spectacular 👌 Pizza Express is accessible for wheelchair uses and those with additional mobility needs. They have lifts. There's an accessible toilet. The prices can be seen as a pricy, for drinks in particular since they are in glass bottles but it's such a pleasant and festive experience and venue for celebrations. The pizzas are often cheaper here than at Dominos. They also offer free tap water and ice when a meal is purchased so you don't necessarily need to buy a drink. A glass of Milk, juice or soda water is only around 50p though! I would recommend trying Louis's Jungle Juice, available still or fizzy!

I visited here yesterday with my family and it had fantastic, friendly and welcoming staff. We will definitely be coming back. The food was amazing and the restaurant was nice and open, it didn't feel claustrophobic, the reason why this matters is because we have a pram and there was plenty of room for us. Keep up the good work

Been a while since we've been to this branch and was a little disappointed. We booked in advance to make sure we had a table. Once sat down we had to ask for menus to ge brought to us and wait nearly 20 mins for someone to come and take our order. There were plenty of staff on so no excuse really. Venue was also cold with no heating. 3 stars as I have been many times before and so know this isn't the normal service

Ended up here as everywhere else in town was choc-a-bloc for 2pm on a Saturday with waiting times from 1hr and we had a hungry 6 year old x can't knock the service or the food both were quick and very good but it is what it is a pizza chain.

Friendly and accommodating staff. We ordered the pesto dough balls, they were absolutely gorgeous. My son ordered the American pizza and I ordered the Sloppy Giuseppe. The American pizza was delicious but the Giuseppe was flavourless and rather bland tbh. We've dined at Pizza express in the York outlet and I'm sorry to say, Hull's version doesn't come close to York.

We arrived when Pizza Express opened at 11:30 hours and was met with a warm friendly welcome from the waiter. Shown to a table overlooking the Quay on a sunny day, how lovely. Very family friendly, great location, catered for allergies and special diets perfectly and all staff were professional throughout. The restaurant itself is clean and well presented. All food cooked fresh to order in a kitchen you can see from within the restaurant. Full marks for taste and variety, as you would expect from Pizza Express. A quick tip - check their website in advance of arriving to see what offers are available to you, we found a great 25% off all food voucher on the Pizza Express which was very welcome.

I've eaten here on many occasions and still believe it to be one of the best restaurant locations in Hull (If you get a window seat) The service is fast and you can see your food being prepared just behind you. Food is always good, and staff are always happy to help, I always find myself leaving a tip here. Portions can be a bit small though.

Went to pizza express for lunch and it was really nice. We were greeted straight away and seated. We had a look at the menu which has quite a lot of choice, even a couple of vegan options. We got hot drinks which were nice. We both got pizzas which were really nice. The waitress made sure we enjoyed everything and it was the same waitress from entering to leaving which I like. There isn't anything bad to say but it's not a particularly cheap lunch that said it was worth the money and would go back.

Food is amazing, perfect location, nice view and plenty of vegetarian options. Loved the Cannelloni defo recommended. Tip: Always have an online voucher before going as the bill will be heavy. 😝

Went in for some late Sunday lunch. Cannot fault the food or the greeting we received. Drinks and food arrived rapidly and were all very tasty. However, after waiting 50/55 minutes after having our empty plates cleared, no one had come over to ask us if we wanted any dessert or even if we wanted the bill. Instead we walked to the front, paid and left, and are now enjoying a very nice coffee and cake at Cafe Nero. While the food and staff were pleasant enough, the whole experience was overshadowed by the non-existing service we received at the end of our meal. Probably won't consider staying for dessert in future if this is the standard.

Was not over the moon with it. Had to ask three different people to get water. I bought my granddaughter blackcurrant and soda could not taste the blackcurrant. My Pizza was the thin and crispy but it was burnt around the edges and bits over the top. Our sweet order was taken but thirty minutes later it still had not arrived. We asked if it would be much longer and they didn't know about looks like the guy who took it had gone on his break without seeing to his customer first. My granddaughter left hers because she couldn't get a spoon through it. I used to use this restaurant a lot in the past and haven't been for a while. It was not up to the standard I remember.

Best pizza I've had in years! But it does get busy, you might even have to wait for a table. I went there on a Wednesday around 7:30PM and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated and close to 30 minutes to get our pizza. Still, it was totally worth it. The staff is also great.

Orders a Caesar chicken salad and a tea.Food was delicious and the tea was twinnings Englsih tea the best. Water was served free of charge after the meal and the service from the staff was the best I have ever come across. The restaurant over looks the beautiful waters of the Princes Quay. I would rate this restaurant the best in Hull by far.The price is reasonable so I will definitely be returning.If you don't like Pizza like me then don't worry there are many other dishes on the menu. Pizza Express is immaculately clean and the ambience is wonderful. 5 stars our of 5.Perfection!!!
