Great food and very good service! Enjoyable evening.

I've been here twice now. I'm normally not a fan of chain restaurants but the food here is amazing. Both times we have ended up having three courses. Very spacious, nice decor and the staff have always been friendly and can tell they are working tirelessly.

Upon arrival I ordered a glass of the fresh lemonade however I was given a sprite instead. When I mentioned this to the manager he was quick to bring two glasses of the fresh lemonade and allow the table to keep the Sprite also. Great customer service and delicious food!

Always liked Ask, and had a good meal in there again last night (ipswich cardinal park one), one waitress in particular Lauren was exceptionally happy and helpful and a lovely lady, the manager (I think that’s who he was) could maybe be a little happier, a smile and a quick natter doesn’t take a lot and goes a long way. The vegan dough bites are fab! (Had then before), they are a starter but I wanted them and a salad on the side as a main, but my only vegan option for that was a basic small side salad, how about something plant based/meat substitute added to it and also a proper side salad rather then as I had to do was to pay for two small side salads to make one full size one. My other issue that all be it the vegan options that are on the menu are excellent, theres not enough choice, also why do I have ask for a separate menu as a vegan that is presented in a black folder which also contains allergy options, kind of makes vegans and anyone with allergies feel like there are slightly alien to have a ‘special’ black plastic folder/book given to them, it’s choice for the above or not if it’s allergies but neither should feel alienated or odd. All constructive advice, and I will continue using Ask but the above would make the experience much better 😊

The n'duja dough balls starter is amazing, you do get loads though, not that it's a bad thing but good to know. Unfortunately, the Christmas pizza wasn't great. Don't know if it was just an off day, but service was rather slow too.

Blown away with how unappreciated this place is. I was here for someone elses birthday (their choice of restaurant) and i thought to myself "really?" When i saw she'd said we were going to ask italian. But wow was this incredible, my girlfriend and i had the same pizza so i cant speak for all of their options but the one i had was very nice and light, with some interesting flavour combinations rather than a standard boring pizza it tasted more unique. Their garlic bread was sensational, with nice amounts of garlic not overpowering the dish, and not greasy and buttery like garlic bread can be. Their chips are pretty much the best i can remember in my life, they were a stand out part of the meal, triple cooked and lovely and crispy just how i like them. Also i had desert and that was very nice too, i dont remember the name but its the one where they melt the chocolate with a hot sauce to reveal the ice cream and cake underneath, was very nice and rich but not too sickening, a very good balance. Also to mention the staff and service were excellent, with no complaints from myself. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely food. Attentive service but not warm and friendly. Maybe I'm fussy. It was just rather frosty and official...but efficient, just made me a little uncomfortable and guarded and I rarely feel that way. We were the only customers in the place at the time. Great gluten free options.

Always good food and service here, anda nice relaxing restaurant to sit in too. Unfortunately due to supply issues, a couple of dishes were not available which was a shame, however the staff did well to amend dishes. Will definitely be back

First post-lockdown family meal out and very impressed with how Ask Ipswich were operating. There were alot less tables in order to comply to social distancing so we were not seated very close to other diners. On arrival at our table we were given a number and told how to order via the Ask app. This worked very well and our order was sent directly to the kitchen and bar. This was not compulsory and we could have ordered via waiting staff if we wished. We used the App but we're also checked on by a very friendly waitress several times. All in all, a very positive experience and the food was great too !

First time visit for myself and wife we were a party of six, must say the food I ordered was very nice king prawn & Cray fish pasta . The service was a good standard we were served by 4 different waiting staff during our stay it was noticeable that some of the staff were natural with serving and looking after us & some were going through the motions . Would I visit again .. Yes for the main dish it was delicious.

I mean do they ever disappoint? The calamari and whitebait and dough balls for starters are all highly recommended by me! They are cooked perfectly and have balsamic or sauces to dip and they are delicious! I always have the stromboli pizza with chilli's and a bit of chilli oil on top and it is always fab and just how I would want it. Service is always quick however busy, staff are friendly and I seriously couldn't fault them!

We had lunch here today to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday. The restaurant was very busy as there was a football match about to start and lots of supporters were eating before they went. This didn't stop our waitress, Tia, from giving us her undivided attention whenever we needed her. We had a family member with us who has dementia and Tia could not have been any more patient with him. She helped with his drinks to ensure that he had a big cup with smaller amounts so he didn't spill it. She gave us extra napkins so we could use them as a bib, and stop him spoiling his clothes. These may seem like little things, but to me, they are massive, the restaurant was heaving, but she still went over and above for us. The restaurant itself was very clean and tidy with lots of space between the tables to allow for privacy to chat while you're eating. We were given complimentary drinks when we arrived and plenty of time to look at the menu. The food was gorgeous, I can't think of anything I would change. We brought a cake with us and this was stored for us until we were ready for it. Tia took it out of the box, lit a candle and brought it to the table whilst singing happy birthday. She then put it back in the box when we had finished. We left the restaurant and Tia called out to us, as we had left a balloon on the table. Everything about our visit was perfect, and we will certainly be returning x

Not a bad place to get a meal. Service is good with nice staff. There's no wow factor or too much variety and no real specials board which is gutting. Calzone pizza is excellent tho and my number one order when I visit. Ask my family they would rate it higher but I always feel like I have just visited a fake Italian restaurant. Good place to take kids during the day as there kids menu is cheap and regular meal standard no nuggets or reconstituted chicken

Visited with father and partner while we were in Ipswich for the afternoon recently. The pizza selection is brilliant. There is also a vegan menu option thought the pasta selected was significantly bland and could have done with more seasoning and flavour. Staff are friendly and good selection to choose from especially with the large vegan menu, though I would like to see more flavours for the vegan menu. The pizzas were brilliant though.

Easily my favourite Restaurant in Ipswich. Biased seeing as Italian is one of my favourite cuisines but the food is top quality without any waiting time either. Restaurant is always clean and restroom facilities are also very clean and to a high standard. Only thing that would put me off coming often is the price but once in a while it’s a treat and it is definitely worth it. Would recommend to anyone who is new to Ipswich or just want to try something different.

Clean place with good staff but wasn't very impressed by the food. I had the belly pork with roast potatoes and sauce, the pork was cooked very well but the roast potatoes where not really roasted and the sauce pretty much dried up and what I could taste of it didn't have much flavour.

Staff are absolutely brilliant and so friendly. I had mentioned my calzone wasnt warm enough, definitely below industry regulations, and they offered to make me a fresh one. Unfortunately I think the chef which was on shift took offense to my complaint and then overcook the second one with hardly any filling (I believe it to of been the chef who was glaring at me from the kitchen window, very awkward and uncomfortable). The member of management was completely understanding and took control of the situation very professionally. We enjoyed all of our food in the end and was delicous as always. They even looked after us when it came to paying the bill. Great hospitality from the staff dispite hiccups in the kitchen :)

the meal wasn't as good as usual. the menu has changed the pizza with the mozzarella cheese was now smaller and thicker with so much mozzarella torn up on top it tasted cold, yet they had put the price up. Serve was slow although the restaurant wasn't full.

Always a pleasure to eat here, try the butterfly prawns to start! The spaghetti pomodoro is delicious and so is the lobster and prawn tagliatelle. The only negative for me is that some beers and ciders come in sizes less than a pint, which I think is far too little when I'm paying about £4+ for it.

Employees of various nationalities and as I am Portuguese I was fortunate to have a Portuguese manager and some employees. Price related nothing to say on the contrary is not very expensive. I advise you to visit the place. (Original) Trabalhei neste restaurante alguns anos por isso so tenho a dizer bem. Era chefe e todos os dias recebia produtos fresco de boa qualidade. Empregados de varias nacionalidades e como eu sou Português tive a sorte de ter um gerente portugues e alguns empregados. Relacionado com o preço nada a dizer pelo contrario nao e muito caro.
