Maybe it's a feature of modern Britain to pile food high to represent 'good value', but it puts me off really.
This binge-portioning is the reason for 4 stars, otherwise very good
D.Extremely pleased. Staff friendly and service quick. The environment and atmosphere was spot on too. Food excellent. Only gripe was the menu doesn't state that the beer is bottled I was expecting a pint for £4.70 and the food is pricey but you get what you pay for here which is quality. Definely recommend to others.

The vegan and vegetarian menu offers a lovely selection to augment the already extensive offering. This is a must try if you are nearby and an ideal location for a quiet night with your special someone.
L. D.Really nice, great service and atmosphere. Not sure if my expectations were too high and was looking for something really exceptional and it was just very good. The starter lacked a bit flavour maybe seasoning. The lamb was really nice.
A. W.Excellent. We were here at Easter Sunday with my mother who is having to use a wheelchair. There was a step into the restaurant but a portable ramp was available, and very good disabled toilets. We hadn’t made a reservation but it was no problem, plenty of room available for the wheelchair. Staff were very friendly accommodating and service was excellent. Food was very good and mum thoroughly enjoyed herself. Highly recommended and hope to visit again soon
C. M.We were a party of six with two children 5 and 2 yrs. The staff were great and for a Monday early evening it was busy. The kids menu was pretty good and the quality of food good to. Adults had mains and a sweet. The pork was amazing with a mash and braised cabbage and the gravy was just fantastic. Creme brullee was very good to. Prices reasonable for the quality of food and service
