First, I have to say the customer service was fantastic. Our server was Emily. She was polite, helpful. Gave great recommendations to try. So we had carbonara type pizza. First time trying this absolutely amazing but different. Creamy pasta dish chicken that was really nice. The small garlic bread was really garlicky and yummy, enough to have as a side even for two. We had you halloumi bits and chips. The halloumi bits are so small, It took away the taste of the halloumi away, was more bread crummy. If they just doubled the size of the bits it would be perfect. What classed as chips I have to say I would not order them again. It was very much like very smooth Mashed potato sticks fried. Over all was absolutely lovely. There's just things I personally wouldn't order again. Reasonable time to receive your meal. Water topped up during the meal with additional lemon slices and ice. Again can't praise Emily enough.

We visited here over the weekend and felt slightly disappointed usually it has a good vibe and feels cheery, food was and is always delicious but the staff didn't seem on the ball and we're actually having private conversations at the side of our table as we were trying to eat, not impressed with the new colours very dark. I visited here last night (Sunday 13th) to catch up with an old college friend. He had never had pizza express before and I've been an avid supporter of the chain for sometime. When we visited the Covid-19 measurements in place were absolutely fantastic. In addition to this the food we received was phenomenal in all my years of eating at pizza express I've never grown tired of it and yet am delighted everytime. The highlight was our Waiter Connor I believe was his name and he was fantastic, a cheerful lad, extremely polite and kind. He even layed out desserts out in a way that was simply fantastic. I will back pizza express to the hilt, and to the gentleman that served us I really hope that tip went in your direction. I hope to visit soon, stay safe all

About 2 years ago, I absolutely hated dining here because of how rude the staff was - not seating us, not taking our orders, openly gossiping about customers etc. Really made eating here an unforgettable experience, and not in a good way. But recently, I’m glad they FINALLY hired new staff as the service has greatly improved since. Fast service, friendly waitress, happier atmosphere overall. It’s now one of my go to places to eat, coupled with a few O2 deals makes this pizza lover extremely happy!

My partner and I went to Pizza Express in Lincoln last night for New Years Eve, we booked a table a few weeks before and lucky we did because it was super busy. Considering how busy it was, I was really impressed with the service and the food. The girl who served us, was lovely, and made sure we were ok several times. They also let me swap some of the toppings that I didn’t like with toppings I did like on my pizza and they got it completely right. The food was lovely, it was a really good night and the service and good food made it even better.

The food was perfectly cooked and very warm, even though the restaurant was pretty much packed when we were in there. The flavours in the pizza are the best in my opinion. They've even increased the portion size of the amazing Polenta chips! The staff were acceptably quick under the circumstances and very friendly with my 3 year old daughter. Having usually visit the Derby branch monthly. For a work meal. Thought I would try here. It's a beautiful big restaurant. Nice and clean. However the speed of service needs to improve and more interaction from the staff. They are. Few more smiles or is everything OK etc

Restaurant has good separate menus for both Vegans and Coeliacs, but offer few choices for Vegans who are also Coeliac. Also beware: if you want to customise a dish with extra(s) such as jalapenos etc, you will be charged £4 plus per additional item(s). Re Mobile Access: have to walk up some steps to access main eating area. Space is somewhat limited for people with mobility aids (eg crutches) when sitting with friends around tables. The main thoroughfare is adequate for passage to the disabled toilet on the same floor.

Our go to meal out when we have our three children. Adult and kids menu have a great selection on offer. Kids receive hat, activity booklet and stickers to keep them busy (and pot of crayons). Food is served quickly. It can be pricy but we tend to visit when we have nectar or Tesco vouchers.

This company seem to be making it as hard as possible to use their discount codes. Different rules seem to crop up at any opportunity you present a voucher. There is a mismatch between what is online and what is actually possible at 'the coal face'. This is the 3rd time so also our last time.
