We had a great meal here last night, everything was delicious except for the bruscetta starter which was a little stale and tasteless. The service was fast and our waiter was very friendly. The only other thing I found surprising was that the two main pasta dishes were still full price (£15) despite us asking for the meat to be removed from them. I'd have expected them to be slightly less due to them being made vegetarian - but this is just a thought and maybe I'm wrong.

Always a winner! From atmosphere to food this place just hits every time! Made to feel welcome straight away by Simon and he looked after us for the remainder of our meal, excellent service. Would recommend the N'duja dough balls as a starter, enough to share for 2 as long as you can handle a slight spicy kick. I have had a few different mains but the one for me has to be the Lasagne and going "grande" is a must. If I could give this dish more than 5* I would, great value for money, can't wait to come back!

Went with a friend for lunch today and all I can say it as absolutely fantastic. Once a month we meet for lunch and have been going to another well known Italian in the City. Never again always Ask from now on. John our waiter was phenomenal, I couldn't believe just how good he was. Nothing was a trouble to him, he is an absolute asset to this restaurant and we will certainly be back.

We were a party of 2 adults and 3 teens. Didn't book but we're welcomed in regardless. Handed homemade lemonade in shot form as we were seated which was lovely and quickly given out menus and drinks order taken. We had calamari and king prawns to start which were both amazing and the pasta mains were equally as good. Unfortunately there isn't one of these restraunts near were we live other wise we would be regulars 🙂

Was meant to write a review about this place the other week but it slipped my mind. Hats off to the chef! We ordered vegan food and I've got to say it was really delicious! The dough balls and cheesy garlic bread was to die for. The mains were really nice as well, but it would be good to have maybe 1 or 2 more vegan options for the mains and maybe more vegan deserts we didn't order desert because it didn't appeal to us. Dont let this put you off though, I loved the food I tried. Me and my girlfriend ordered different foods and we loved them! Definitely coming here again!!! Absolutely loved our waiter as well, I dont remember his name, but the guy with the man bun, think he had dark grey hair (maybe a dark blonde). He made 9ut night!

Idk what it was about this AskItalian but it just wasn't as good as the others I have been to. Yes it has the normal menu and stuff however , the fries and the spaghetti just felt very oily , very wet and just not the usual quality that we are used to in AskItalian.

A very nice and good place for dinner, you can feel the passion of the chef. Michael’s service is excellent. We ordered Pork belly and seabass, it’s delicious and tasty, what a good Italian restaurant. Sure I will come back again.

Lovely restaurant, we had the 3 course meal with a glass of prosecco or a beer for £24.95. Cheese fondue was lovely, quote a big starter. Salami pizzas were also very good followed by gingerbread latte cake and choc orange tart for me also very good. Highly recommend as the food was excellent for the price. Staff were also very attentive and helpful. The only thing they missed out on a star was forgetting our shot of limoncello that was also included and we didnt get.

The waitress who showed us to table was very knowledgeable and friendly - mentioned that lemons used for complementary lemonade drink were coated in wax that is not vegan. The food was very good, but there was a very long wait for dessert. We were asked if we would like Parmesan with two very clearly labelled (literally labelled!) vegan main courses, which was a little disappointing but I wouldn't downgrade somewhere due to that. If it wasn't for the long delay on dessert I would rate 5 stars.

Lovely meal. 2 kids, one had a lasagne off main menu and one had kids meal. Would definitely get both kids meals next time. Great value for money and portion size just the same. Everything lovely and fresh. I always order calamari in restaurants and can say, unfortunately, this was the worst I've ever had. Tastless and dry. But! Other than that, everything was lovely.

Beware the garlic bread, if you get one it should be shared between 1-3 people it was too much of a challenge to tackle myself even though it was delicious. It was quite quiet when we were there but we had gone for an early evening meal before a show at the royal court (the restaurant is well placed for the theatres etc in that part of the city) but it might be busier later on.

Hadn't been here in probably about 10 years as it was average back then. Made up that I came back tho, it's had a big refurbishment at some point and looks great. We had a sharing starter, pasta main and desert and couldn't fault any bit of the food. Some tasty cocktails and homemade lemonade available too. Pricier than the other nation Italian food chains, but the food was much much better and more plentiful. I ate off the weekend menu for a better price and all my courses were excellent. We pre-booked at least a month in advance but upon arrival we were told they had ran out of some of the choices we had made. That aside, the place had a great atmosphere, music choice was good and wasn't too loud such that you couldn't hear one another across the table. The staff were a credit to themselves, given the issues with our orders and the chaos surrounding serving a large group, they handled it professionally, in an organised way and all the while with a smile. Extra star added for the staff.

We had booked a time to go to the theatre, and the management failed to clear the table until after 45 minutes we were finally ushered upstairs where there were many empty tables. Service was quite good after an awful Stuart, and the Manageress gave us a healthy discount. We would give them a second chance as the food, when it arrived, was very good!

Had the meerkat deal. Wouldn't have are here otherwise. The food was ok but certainly a long way from the best Italian food I've had. The starters were ok at best, my mushrooms were a bit overdone. Mains were again ok, but mine was lacking enough sauce and also would have been better if it was bigger. My husband said his lasagna was ok but not great. The drinks are definitely overpriced. I would not visit again.
