What a super place! Genuine Italian greeting and people; lively and well supported even mid afternoon and fully booked in the evening. Upstairs for private gigs or karaoke fun etc. Downstairs offers indoors and outdoor dining. Really attentive staff and the food was out of this world! Tagliatelle Marinara; tagliatelle salmon; cheesy and delicious lasagne; desserts were delicious and plentiful in their servings and the cheese and biscuits for 1 was shared between 2! A really great place - highly recommended. Prices - depending on what you order - range from below £10 through to £30 odd if going for the seafood for 2. There were 8 of us including 2 kids, plus drinks and mostly all 2 course meals. Worked out to being roughly £23 each

Food was delicious! That's the most important thing . Small minuses are 1 long wait for service ( there where really busy today ) and no car park at all , one that is at side of it is only for gym members ... Except that was very tasty , fresh , and service was really nice and helpful all the time ! Exceptional restaurant! Next time defo wi will come back if we visit Formby again !

Been coming here for about a year now , and every time me and my family walk through the door you would think we was Hollywood stars! The way the staff treat you from the moment you walk in to the minute you walk out you feel like family . The food is the best Italian Iv ever had ! My sons love the Pasta Bolognese and the garlic bread is the best and I love the seafood linguine it's my fav but to be honest everything I have had from there is amazing ! My husband loves the surf and turf the steak is delicious melts like better and the peppercorn sauce is to die for ! Lyndsey and Tommy have the bet staff and pepe , flippo , really do go far and beyond for every customer to walk through the door . All the girls that work there never leave your glass empty and work really hard . 5 star all the way

This is a really good restaurant, worthy of five stars. The food came out fast and was good with some great options on the menu (Chef's Special pasta is great). The staff have that charm that adds to the experience and the place itself feels Italian. The only minor thing was that the tiramisu was pretty average, but that doesn't change anything for me.

Went here as a large group, pre-booked, so they were very aware of our visit, however, after rapidly getting served with all of our drinks and starters, we then sat and waited just over 90 minutes to receive our mains! We sat and watched multiple other tables that had arrived after us receive their mains and in some cases deserts too! The staff were informed and very little was said, some comment about the gas that made no sense considering meals were still coming out. The response we received for the delay was lemoncello shots.. Lemon flavoured P!SS basically, something often given out to group anyways! Needless to say, the service was shocking on this visit and I felt embarrassed for bringing guests here. The food was great but 90 minutes is really poor, then to not do anything about it was just rude really. They've let us down

Fab food, we shared a pizza, garlic bread, salad, a creme brulee and a bottle of the rose pinot, enjoyed it all in particular the pesto garlic bread was amazing! The staff were lovely! Overall great evening, great food, great staff and great company!

Lovely food and the staff are very friendly. Can get quite busy of an evening and the tables are situated quite closely. However, this doesn't seem to affect the service as we always receive our food promptly. Only issue, and it's not a big deal, is the music. They play a lot of Spanish inspired music for an Italian place. Please play more Italian music!

We received a friendly welcome. The restaurant is well laid out, it felt a little cold at first but we soon warmed up when our food arrived. Hawian & Mediterranean pizzas were excellent, the lasagne was very good indeed & actually contained a reasonable amount of meat which is rare to find these days. The sides of garlic tomato bread, sweet potato fries & onion rings were all excellent also. Rounded off with good service, we will definitely return.

We have just moved to the area and have gone past this lovely restaurant a few times. Cycled past today and decided to see if there was any availability without booking. It was quite busy so expected ait to be full but the waiter was so accommodating and even got us a table outside. Food was amazing! Garlic bread was wood fired and so lovey and light, lasagne was the best my husband had ever had and my chilli and garlic pasta was cooked to perfection! Staff were all friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Very happy we have this place so close to us and will definitely be returning.

Went for a meal with friends last night. Unfortunately there was a Wedding reception up stairs! So noisy you couldn't have a conversation. Food was usual good quality. However the BBQ Ribs were really not worth the money, small portion and massively over priced. I won't order them again.

Not saying I wouldn't go back but I do hope they increase portions even if the price has to increase as if I wanted lean cuisine I can stick a ready meal in the microwave along with desert and a bottle of vino for £10 from m&s or Tesco
