Great customer service, starters were fab. The pizza was way to spicy and just greasy not much flavour. My tiramisu was lovely. The bar tender wasn't happy how many managers they employed there over time. Doesn't seem very professional to discuss this around customers.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. Definitely plan to eat here again if I am in Liverpool. Went to eat here as part of a group of 6 on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant seemed to be at about full capacity. We had originally booked for 7 but on one member of our group cancelling the staff were very accommodating and sat us at a table suited for the new group size. The online ordering system is straightforward, very easy when combined with use of the physical menu. The food was somewhat pricier than what I am accustomed to, costing £152 for the group, but it felt reasonable given the great quality. The option to split the bill or not was provided on payment. The wait for the food was not long and the food itself was the best I have had of its kind. The other group members said that their food was as enjoyable. A waitress got one order mixed up and the manager immediately placed us at top priority to get the order right and was very apologetic. As a bonus, the house music, while unusual for an Italian restaurant, was quite enjoyable.

A fantasic Experience at the Zizzi ❤ had to book at table with an hour wait came back after a bit more family shopping 🛍 so brilliant location for shoppers . The inside table was ready for us and we ordered 3 pizzas with drinks the service and food was top notch as Always and there was a Great Atmosphere both inside and out !! Very covid safe would recommend this place to anyone who loves any Italian food this place is as good as the Trafford Centre Zizzi ❤❤👌👍🍷🍾🥂 UPDATE had another Amazing meal here again yesterday the new Nudja chips are to die for along with the rest of the food ,the service again was brilliant and Our server Craig also informed us that with our taste card we could get a by one get one free on the starters and Main course so we got over £20 of our bill 👍👍❤❤🍷🍾🍾🥂🍕🍝🍕🍕

Not overly impressed with a meal here last weekend. Spent £60 on a garlic bread, two pasta dishes and a bottle of wine and felt I could have made it better myself at home. The food wasn't hot either. Wouldn't return.

The food was great, I don’t have anything bad to say about it. A group of us went and tried a variety of starters and mains and there wasn’t a dish we weren’t happy with. Unfortunately as others have mentioned they didn’t have quite a few things on the food menu and only one beer was available. My advice would just be to not check the menu before going to avoid any disappointments about things they might not actually have.

#top marks service: Jason Got to say, always really enjoy the food & atmosphere in Zizzi. Tops marks for the service. Noticed some disparaging reviews – definitely not our experience... All staff made a real effort – cracking hospitality. Would just add that there are not enough superlatives for what Jason does…. I don’t write many reviews (but do put much value in reading others…) This guy should run workshops for the hospitality industry about how to enhance the customer experience. The food was honestly tasty, we went in with the intention of using student discount on a Sunday only to be told that as the day after was a bank holiday it wasn't valid. The voucher terms said "not valid on bank holidays" it didn't say the other days were. We were informed as it was a "bank holiday weekend" the voucher wouldn't have been valid from Friday to Monday! As far as we were concerned the Friday through Sunday were just normal days, especially the Friday as the Friday wasn't a bank holiday! I think it would have been worth the money if we had the student discount to bring the food down to normal price, otherwise it is a very expensive place although the food does taste nice, not enough to quantify the prices.

Food: ⭐ I had pizza which for the cost was not brilliant, this was due to the crust being rather large and hard, just put some cheese and topping futher to the edge! The other half had a pasta dish which unfortunately was like water. A massive difference from the brilliant food served in the Manchester media city restaurant. Price: ⭐⭐ Pricey considering poor quality of food. Wine starts at £15 a bottle which is ok. Deserts are reasonable as are starters. Atmosphere / decor: ⭐⭐⭐ Nice modern look with glass front and outside eating area. Open kitchen inside. Cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐ Dirty cutlery let it all down, easy fix. Service: ⭐⭐⭐ Service was very slow. 40 mins between starter to main. Waitress was polite and friendly though. Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant location right in Liverpool one, next to all the other eateries. Just let down by the experience this time.

I've been here a few times with friends, on my own and with family and always had a very nice meal - the food is good and the people are lovely. Even my Grandma who is very hard to please enjoyed the rustica picante pizza. The last time I was here we had Rhys as our waiter who was brilliantly friendly, attentive and accomodating. If you want to go to an Italian in Liverpool this is the place to go. I would say on one occasion I found the music to be pretty loud but the last few times that seems to have been sorted.

Had late lunch 4pm with family during our trip to Liverpool (Monday 9 August) Food was good, service was good, however there was approximately a 50minute wait till an hour between starters and main courses. We did not complain but the staff (who were excellent) apologised for the delay and served is a round of drinks on the house. Nice touch we were not asking for or expecting.

Went for a dinner without reservation on BH Monday, but staff was so incredibly helpful so we waited up to 5 min for a table. Used their order app, quick and easy to save waitresses legs. Ordered a dinner of which only half has arrived. It's freezing cold and tiniest portions compared to when eating in the restaurant. Then don't answer phone to sort anything. Will never use a zizzis again. Edit* - can't fault the service or response from Zizzis but I wouldn't recommend going through Just Eat.

Ate here a few weeks ago. Our mains came out almost 15 minutes apart which of course ruined our dining experience but the staff where great once I had got their attention, apparently there had been an accident in the kitchen which couldn't be helped and they apologized and the whole meal was on them. Food is nice and pretty good vegan options.

The stars are for the food which was hot and very tasty. However the service was a total let down and the waitress's forced smile didn't hide the fact she didn't want to be there.

Stopped for a mid afternoon bite to eat with my partner and 1 year old. Staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. One particular guy didn't catch his name. Big guy with a longish beard was absolutely phenomenal, stopped and chatted every time he came past, played with the baby and made us feel extremely welcome while my son was having an extreme case of early onset terrible two's. Food was great but I honestly would of been happy eating a microwave meal in the brilliant atmosphere they've cultivated there.

Lovely food and fast service, but the restaurant feels too small for the amount of tables in there. I felt sorry for the diners who were around the 8 people waiting at the door because we were pretty much standing right at the tables due to the lack of space. The decor is 50/50 in the sense that the open kitchen area looks amazing but the copper tables (ours way waay too wobbly) and the cast iron gated wall decoration need to go. All in all, if you want great pizza and aren't bothered about other diners touching your elbows and chair, go to Zizzi.

Great restaurant, especially with children. We popped in while shopping with our 3 year old. The service we recieved was amazing! Both waiters who served us were friendly and welcoming but it was Cam? who stole the show with my little one. He took her order from her directly and drew her a pig on her menu. She is very shy normally but answered him and even ate her dinner which is a miracle 🙂 He is an amazing member of your team and turned our quick lunch into a relaxed eating experience (which is hard with a pre schooler!!)

We had the most amazing carbonara yesterday. We were sat in the same seat as our last visit (TBL28) which has the best view of the room and kitchen. Our server was Calvinn who 2as so cute and helpful. He made sure we had what we ordered by checking back when we ordered and offered us water on top if drinks. Another lovely young chap brought us pepper and parmesan cheese checking if we were okay. The atmosphere was great and we did not wait long for a table either at such a busy time. Recommending to all my family and friends and social media friends.😘

Didn't book, just walked in, no problem. Had 2 starters instead of a main course, meatballs and a cheese fondue both spot on. Tiramisu to follow. All food was very nice and price was reasonable. Great food as always but slow service, even when they were not busy. We went around 730 after a match and they were the only restaurant that still had tables. Other restaurants after the football match had all been booked. We ordered 2 kids meals but it took 15 minutes for their drinks to come. We asked another waitress for help but she just deferred is back to our waitress. About ten minutes later, the waitress that deferred us left for the night. Maybe she was just winding down? But again, slow service, less staff, and possibly a busy night ahead if people can't get into other restaurants. Barely saw our waitress. I do recommend the corgette chips though. They are light and airy. Also, there are normally vouchers on voucher cloud and Meerkat rewards. We couldn't use either so it was a bit more than expected. Prices are always relative though. A kids meal is around £7 and a pizza around £12. Take a look at the menu before going and check for vouchers. Personally, I like the food at all the Zizzis I've been to. The service just wasn't great here.

Excellent, well laid out & organised establishment. I don't really do Italian however, this has changed my view. Utterly superb. Try the Prawn starter? Magnificent. My wife & I spoke to the Restaurant Manager Ian about a very tall young man working there & never seemed to stop. Nothing was too much trouble. Needless to say, we tipped him well on the way out. On my last visit 27/04/13 the service was very poor waiting 45minutes for a starter of a bucket of bread, we were given complimentary drinks. The main meal, an other 45 minute later had all the correct flavours but was cold, My granddaughters desert was returned twice because it was solid, it should have had a rich chocolate gooey centre, it was solid, she found it really hard to get the spoon though it, I left my receipt on the table to let the staff know I would not be entering the competition, I was informed by the staff the manager would be informed of my complaint, I have been to this restaurant a number of times and always been very happy with the food, so maybe this time it was due to staff issues,

Garlic Bread with cheese was amazing, lovely with Balsamic glaze for dipping, the lamb meatballs with Pasta was really tasty, lots of garlic! Salted Caramel desert wasn't great, looked nothing like the advertised picture, service got a little bit slow but not the waiters fault as it seemed only 2 staff were looking after the whole place, all in all good value and good food!

Tasty pizza. Artisan bread and olives were lovely.I wish that vegan options just stuck to vegetables and vegan cheese. The jackfruit "chorizo" tasted very fake. Flavoured jackfruit would have sufficed. When I visit again but ask for the "chorizo" to be excluded. I thought £9 for two small bottles of beer was very expensive.

I'm no local to Liverpool and when i saw and (trusted) an online voutcher for a three course meal at zizis for a wicked price i jumped at the opportunity! Food was fab! Service was excellent considering they were slammed for a particularly busy lunch. Obviously our day out was too good to be true as we had issues using our voutcher. The staff were my saving grace. And made the day! Knocked off a bottle of prosecco as I could imagine they saw how upset me and my other half were having to pay the bill and having already paid for the voutcher that should have covered it. So props to the zizis team in Liverpool! Kitchen, waiters and front of house made our problematic day out just that much better. Thank you from us x

My friend's vegetarian ravioli were beautiful (so she said), pizza was thin and crispy as it should be, however for 1.50 for extra Proscuito ham I would expect a little more than about 5 2x1 cm pieces on the whole pizza.

Always good at Zizzi, Rustica pizza recommended, mine was almost a full English breakfast pizza with egg, cooked ham, mushrooms and tomatoes, no black pudding 😋. Ordered a starter of crispy prawn Zucchini with a lemon slice and aioli,small starter,average rating as never noticed any prawns in it?.On to the main, King prawn linguine.The pasta was fresh and tasty with a nice balance of prawns, tomato sauce with a small amount of sliced chilli.Very warming and enjoyable for the main.
