We happens to arrive before a rugby match in Twickenham and they were serving a fixed Rugby Menu for £45. They let us review it, while they cleared a space and we decided to stay. We are glad we did. The smoked salmon and carpaccio appetizers were light and very well presented. We were so hungry our pictures have about one third of them missing. The Sausage main was quite tasty, but the Lamb Shank was the winner: with meat falling off the bone. I preferred her lamb shank, but was happy with my “Italian bangers and mash.” The tiramisu and rum baba are a split decision. We both preferred the ones we got. We also enjoyed a bottle of Canaletto Pinot Grigio that went well with everything. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a Saturday evening dinner on their patio. Very cozy with heaters and blankets. The food was good as well. We had to wait a bit too long between our starters and our main but other than that, a terrific evening in Richmond.

A place of contrasts. I'd love to give 4* but some aspects of place should get 2* in my scoring world. The manager was attentive and professional, the female staff excellent whilst our main server was anything but. The best of our food - beef carpaccio, tiramisu - was sublime and definitely worth coming back for. The plate of deep fried fish bits (apart from the prawn) was very disappointing and bland. Perhaps we ended up drinking too much (prosecco, house red, Calvados, port, double expresso) and certainly too quickly .... they were all good quality and the weather outside was dreadful... but it was disappointing to be charged for an extra Calvados we didn't order but was brought instead of a final brandy even though we mentioned this error. Finally, the gents toilet door is tight to open and close and must be very challenging for some.

Hands down, the most authentic Italian food in West London. The staff here are welcoming and accommodating. The pasta, which is cooked in the “al dente “ style, is truly amazing. The rastaurant is a fixture of Richmond community, and for good reason. Consistently superb! Would definitely recommend the Sea Bass, genuinely incredible!

Today my friends and I visited Bacco restaurant. I rarely write reviews, but this time I really want to thank the team for their excellent service, delicious food( truffle pasta was perfect), pleasant conversation and cozy atmosphere. The waiter kindly provided me information about the menu, advised me the right wine and asked me every time if I was okay. I felt great, the atmosphere was light and relaxed. I can say with confidence that one of the best restaurants I've been to. Highly recommend, 10/10.

A disappointing experience for a birthday celebration for 6. The restaurant was busy, it was a Saturday night; we'd booked in advance and arrived about 10 minutes late due to heavy rain. Seated inside, our table was nice and the space felt comfortable and we weren't squished in. The food here is tasty and the menu is well balanced with lots of choice. My disappointment comes from the service, the drinks were slow and the arrival of food was confused and delayed. We ordered lots of the while you wait/ starters menu to come together as we were hungry, and these came out split. The mains came approx 2 hours after we arrived in the restaurant. Four of the 6 mains came, we were missing 2 dinners for 5 minutes before one of us left the table to approach management, who apologized. The mains then came out after another 4 minutes, but one wasn't quite right as different potatoes had been requested so it had to go back again. In an effort to apologize the kitchen brought out 2 extra tiramisus which we declined as we had only wanted the 1 ordered, and they took some of drinks (prosecco) off the bill. They tried to fix this, and were pleasant throughout hence the 4 stars; sadly, the slow service dominated the discussion and tainted the memory. Getting restaurant staff is hard at the moment and I feel for this place; the food is great and I'd like to come back but I might go at a quieter time for a better service experience.

The staff, less welcoming than previously. The mains are small sized with limited vegetables. Disappointing overall. The zucchini friti however were excellent, but could do with a dip or mayonnaise accompaniment. Expensive for what you get. Expect to pay £45 - £50 per head.

Went for dinner last night. Staff very welcoming and service from charming waitress was superb all evening - attentive but not intrusive. Full distancing measures in place, hand sanitiser prevalent and people wearing masks when moving around. Drinks and starters arrived promptly, quite a wait for the mains. Portions appeared quite small but food was so rich we were all full and there was more than enough. Quite salty but absolutely delicious and quality ingredients. Seafood, vegetables and meat all lovely. A great evening - will definitely go again. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality food and great outdoor dining area. Pasta made from scratch in the kitchen, portion sizes not tool large so you can dine in the Italian three courses way (dessert after if you still have room!). No pizzas so a nicer, slow food type of dining experience.

My friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant looking for somewhere taking walk ins and we couldn't be happier we found Bacco! All the staff were so friendly, we were made to feel really welcome over our long lunch, and the handmade pasta was amazing. I was recommended the spaghetti Al tartufo and it was truly decadent, covered with truffle, perfectly al dente spaghetti and innovatively came in a delicious bowl made of parmesan. We somehow managed to stuff in a lovely dessert and coffee as well, and are definitely planning a trip back!

We are here as I'm typing this review. Came here for our wedding anniversary. Nice pleasant warm welcome arrived early but was able to sit on our reserved table. I had prawns with cous cous and my husband had seafood starter the calamari was nothing special but my starter had a really nice kick to it.The mains I ordered the beef steak and my husband ordered tuna steak. Both were delicious. Tiramusu is well balanced and my ice cream with amaretto but I don't normally order ice cream but the amaretto made a big difference. Well this little gem is somewhere you should totally go. Shyly placed next to the orange, a treasure trove of amazing food, friendly staff and what a fantastic wine selection. We thought we'd chance it as we were a stones throw away enjoying the evening sun and some beer. They had a table and do have plenty of outside space if you prefer. Fast service and a warm Italian welcome. We have found our new favourite.

I hadn't been to Bacco for years and was so pleased to go back today to just as fantastic food and service as I remembered. Really carefully following covid precautions but absolutely no negative impact on the delicious lunch or positive atmosphere. Set menu of two courses for £16 is incredible value

Very good food. Nice service. A bit pricey, but they have the right to be like that. I was there on three occasions: date, solo and with a friend. Fitted all the purposes. Don’t be misguided if their neighbours (Carluccio’s) are full and only few tables in Bacco are taken. Again it is just a matter of money, not the quality of food or service. If you are on the budget, go to their neighbours, if you want to treat yourself - then definitely Bacco. And they are not so expensive as you can think, but the menu is definitely a level up from their neighbours (their neighbours are good as well, but Bacco slightly better).

Having visited at different times of the week, this is what every neighbourhood needs: a reliably good Italian. The food is delicious and in sensible portions with a nice variety of specials; and it has a well-assembled, reasonably priced wine list. Family meal here this evening - - and one we will remember for a long time. I cannot speak highly enough of every aspect of our visit. My mother has a garlic allergy and we were assured that anything on the menu could be prepared, to meet her requirements. The staff were attentive, without being omnipresent. The staff make everything seem effortless when in fact they are 100% attentive in their attention to detail. Thank you to all staff for making our evening. You could give lessons in customer service and attention to detail to many others and the food was fabulous. All I can say is, Thank you.

Good food in a very central location in Richmond. Authentic Italian cuisine that is definitely a cut above the average. Fabulous kalamari. Prices can be quite cheeky but staff very charming and attentive. Convoluted but quirky interior layout. Decked seating area out front. Somewhere for a special meal for two?

Really good food and exceptional wine, decent friendly service too. Good value for being in Richmond too, especially the wine. Not usually much of a dessert person but the Affogato al caffe (espresso poured over vanilla ice cream) was fantastic! Seafood scialatiello (like linguine) beautiful. Nice interior too, with quiet tables away from the street but also some tables outside. There was a birthday function on in the other half when we were there, but didn't hear a peep. I'm a regular at this lovely restaurant, it never disappoints. Love the cocktails and a great selection of wines. Their lobster linguini and fresh ravioli are delicious. The place itself is very cosy, set up with tablecloths and the soft lighting is quite romantic. Along with a friendly charming host, you won't regret your visit. Highly recommended.

There is a great looking restaurant inside on an upper level. Fast service and friendly staff.

I arrived early and was served with complementary bread and olives, The menu was small, varied and reasonably priced. The lobster linguine I had was great! I really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant and even though the staff seemed to have a bit of a problem understanding me, they were really attentive.

The truffle pasta was delicious! Its a lovely little restaurant with good outdoor eating and the staff topped the service. Super friendly people!

Really nice meal and attentive service. Well-prepared dishes with good portion sizes at a reasonable price – I had the sea bass, my parents had the veal. They're from the classic Italian repertoire; antipasti include carpaccio and scallops, there's a good selection of pasta dishes and desserts include a very tasty panna cotta and a caramelised pineapple dish with ice cream.
