Reviews of CAPRINI Restaurent
K. P.
Lovely little restaurant. Feels like a family run business, very nice atmosphere and great food. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Prices were good too. Only £90 for 4 people with a bottle of wine, great deal!
K. H.
Really good food, lovely staff very friendly and welcoming! Managed to accommodate 8 of us last minute. Will definitely visit again!
Y. F.
The service was very friendly. The food was great with a family- friendly atmosphere. The cost was very economical.
C. K.
The best Italian I ever tried in London. It's so authentic that it tastes as if you were in Italy 🇮🇹
Highly recommended
V.
Very nice, real Italian style service, very nice people. Small place, close tables but it makes you feel to have dinner with a big Italian family. Food is freshly made, very fast served. You are very welcomed and seated quickly as well. And the house wein is as good as opening a bottle. Definitely a place to come back.

This little restaurant was a find! We have dinned there 3 times while in London and each meal we ordered was freshly cooked, and very tasty. The service was excellent and to top it off, I had a broken wrist and one of the waiters cut my meal up for me! A small gesture, but one that meant a lot! Thank you guys!
L. W.
I had a fantastic lunch with my sister's today. The staff, service and food were all great. We will certainly go back.
H. K.
Lovely place. Dropped in here spontaneously before going for a movie, and will definitely be coming back (the pizza looked tempting). Delicious ravioli and the house wine is solid. You’ll want to bring a bit of time, it’s not the kind of place to rush in and out, but who wants to rush Italian food anyway?
L. T.
A great find! We have been back several times to this family owned restaurant after coming across it coming out of Waterloo Station. Freshly made pasta and a relaxed atmosphere. Seafood linguine recommended.
F. L.
Nice dishes, friendly service and beautiful ambiance and setting of a traditional Italian in a urban Waterloo setting.
Prawn arrabiatta starter was stunning, nonna style sauce with fresh tomatoes. Rucola salad was decent but parmesan was very waxy, bit too dry or near the rind.
They kindly did vitello a la parmigiana of menu, no complaints with that. Bolognese portion was huge and decent enough.
Overall a lovely meal and would definitely return. Would recommend for ambiance and unfussy food.
C. W.
Food was tasted amazing and the entire staff were lovely, funny and friendly. For a group of 4 in London with a bottle of wine and other drinks it was £81 which was very reasonable - especially for London! Would go again 😁
P. D.
Absolutely loved this charming little restaurant, delicious authentic food, good portions, piping hot and a very good price.
Squeezed us in without a booking, very lucky.
Friendly staff, 100% recommended
Z. C.
Very good food, family run restaurant. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend, one of the better meals if not the best, we had while in London. Give it a try they won't disappoint.
G. K.
Cute authentic Italian restaurant. Food was great and so was the service. Restaurant has a traditional rustic atmosphere.
N. P.
After looking around for a restaurant with my wife, come across this little Italian restaurant.
What a GEM of a place I found.
Lovely staff , food was amazing ! Pizza was out of this world , and the portions people was having was huge.
Highly recommended!!!
K. R.
After a small family meltdown we stumbled on this restaurant. What a find! It's one of those authentic Italian places you dream of finding. The food was amazing and we left with our family feud mended.
Our 7 yr old requested I add this - worth the money and super tasty.
P. I.
A convenient location for pre-IMAX dinner. Generously sized portions, with pasta cooked the right consistency. All in all spent £25 per head (no alcoholic drinks) - which I think is reasonable for London sit-down dinner.
We came in a taxi so can't speak about parking. However it is well served by bus routes.
s. l.
Nice and friendly family restaurant with delicious food. Substantial portions you won't be left hungry.
Reasonably priced too. I won't hesitate to recommend it.
A. L.
medium rare lamb cutlet - 5/5
with steam carrot, green beans and roast potato on the side.
Meat are juicy and tender, sauce is also great, nice portion size.
Nice services
G. A.
Proper London / Italian restaurant with authentic & honest service. Nice and friendly staff !
I got talked out of ordering the pasta and was recommended the roast chicken dinner...... it was absolutely perfect ! Nice home cooked style dishes offered just like being back home at comune di Macugnaga!
I shall be back for the pasta menu very soon!!
Great deserts too....
C. A.
Starters and mains took a while to arrive possibly because of what we ordered. Pizza seemed to get to people before our courses Staff though were friendly and proffesional, especially as there are a lot of stairs to navigate.
R. L.
Steak was overcooked and too much dressing. Pizza and fetucinni carbonara ordinary. Onion soup ok, only small pieces rather than chunk of garlic bread in the center. Mussels with creamy dressing taste good. Pricey as London standard.
G. S.
Popped in and what a result. Service was a little slow but the food was lovely. Happy to recommend
K. A.
Lovely restaurant and cozy italian vibes, great food and really friendly staff. Highly recommend!
G. N.
Small, family styre and good food! We stumbeled on this small restaurant and decided to try it out. We quickly got a table and tried the risotto, one pasta and the red wine of the house. Will come back again.
T. B.
Good food, terrible service. Dishes left on the counter top while staff chatted amongst themselves.
J. C.
Really delicious rabbit dish. Generous portion. Waiters seemed competent, friendly and looked after us even though they were busy.
P. S. (.
Walked in and were greeted by friendly staff, who offered us a table that was free for the next two hours as we had no reservation. Ordered a pizza, which I expected to rival the large pizzas we get back home but with a thicker base and lots of tomato sauce. We also ordered a bottle of wine, which apparently prompted the staff to make comments in Italian.
The pizza had a decently thick base and the toppings and sauce were delicious, but the size of the pizza was disappointing, especially when the price was higher than a regular pizza back home. Wait time was also quite long, as one of our party eats a little slower, so we ended up occupying the table to the very last minute. The wine was good, though.
I. K.
It's now called 4 fratelli and I had the pasta 4 fratelli which was perfect not too rich and the right amount of fish, prawns. I'm definitely going back and so pleased we came.
C. C.
Fabulous food and great price - will definitely return to this great restaurant
E. R.
The lasagna and calamari rings were amazing. Cozy inside and not too expensive. Great place overall.
D. H.
Great authentic Italian food, from a family business that is not part of a chain. Good value too
P. S.
Loved the decor. Staff were very helpful. Good location.
H. W.
Really lovely Italian place with an authentic feel close to Waterloo. Had mussels and pizza and both were fantastic.
G. S.
Excellent choice of food, great taste and decent price. Will go again when in Waterloo!
M. S.
Great meal plenty of choice, food was very nice and the staff were very friendly.
S. C.
Staff are incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. Will definitely visit again.
C. S.
Really good in every aspect, great food, friendly service, would definitely come back
J. M.
My meal was okay but I was not impressed with their spag bol which the youngsters ordered, it wasn't fresh and had been heated up in the microwave so was dry on presentation, glad I didn't order pasta 🤷🏾♀️
C. M.
We meet for a lunch-time meeting, as it is easy to get to from many locations (South West, South East and East London - it is very close to Waterloo train and tube station). I had the starter from the special and the liver; the mushroom starter was good, and the sage and butter liver was excellent. My colleagues thoroughly enjoyed their food too. The service was good, with the right balance of being attentive without making you feel rushed. I will defiantly go again.
M. d. C. P. J.
Very good food!
Lovely space and kindly staff!
Thanks
J. D.
6 of us turned up without a booking and we're cheerfully seated. Lovely waiters, very friendly. Food was great and large portions. Great place to eat near Waterloo Station.
V. A.
Reserved table here with friends who had visited a couple of years ago.
Quite busy, on a Saturday night.
Very good service, staff good humoured and friendly. Food very good, generous portions.
Good value, would recommend.
A. G.
Excellent food, best place for pasta and very affordable, the staff was friendly and nice as well, 100% recommended.
D. B.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in London, the staff and food are great. Highly recommend it.
A. R.
Have been there many times and always have had a very positive experience.
Family run business where you are recognised and appreciated if you have been there more than once. Menu is very traditional 1970s style but the flavours will leave you vowing to come back.
Highly recommend, good food at very reasonable prices. Keep up the good work
C. D.
Still great value although it changed hands recently, as a result the menu not as extensive. Will make another visit soon.
M. H.
We came in for late night pasta and the staff were so lovely and more than accomodating. They welcomed us even though it was late and it felt like a lovely, authentic Italian feel. They reccomended us the wine and food and happy to talk us through the menu and the specials for the day. Highly reccomend for any occasion.
B. D.
Very pleasant surroundings. Warm welcome, good service, good food & wine. Nothing too much trouble - very pleasant meal.
E. P.
Wonderful little restaurant, beautiful food (Pollo Caprini was delicious!) and great service as well - thank you!
C. W.
Delicious, reasonable price and great service!
T. H.
Very tasty food, I had a lovely lasagne. My neice had a gluten free carbonara that she really enjoyed.
j. C.
One of the best Italian Restaurants in London. Absolute gem of a place.
A. P.
Mussels were soooooo fresh and delish I'm suprised they didn't kiss me
H. P.
Really good food and goo ambiance.
(I got so drunk on the wine I left my headphones behind. Went back 4 hours later - found, intact and well looked after.)
Will definitely return.
M. H.
Lovely traditional Italian restaurant, with delicious food.
T. A.
Great staff and the food was impeccable. Genuinely loved it. I had the calamari to start and boring bolognese which actually blew me away. 100% recommended
D. S.
The location, food and service was top class. It's rare to get a decent meal at a reasonable price in Waterloo but this place was great. The decor is a little dated but for me it didn't matter. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the olives were delicious. I didn't have desert but my friend did and said it was lovely. Very friendly staff too.
J. M.
4 Fratelli Caprini is a great little family run restaurant, 1 of 2 restaurants run by 4 brothers, the other is in Camberwell called Carivagios, both serving fabulous quality dishes, generous portions and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this place to friends👌
A. M. O.
Great food and service although could do with a bit of a makeover
K. A.
Lovely traditional Italian restaurant. Decor is a bit shabby but don't let that put you off because the food is supeb.
M. M.
Amazing!! We stumbled across this gem of a restaurant while visiting London. The food is absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is quaint and inviting, quiet and reserved. The staff is extremely attentive and very pleasant. If you are in the area you definitely need to stop by Caprini and treat yourself to a fantastic, rustic Italian meal!
G.
The food would be just about ok if the place was called something like London Café. But the sign "Ristorante Italiano" raises expectations which are definitely not met. And if that wasn't enough they have now added another sign with two spelling mistakes in one word (it's fraTeLLi, not fraTTeLi)
l. 1.
A very good place in London ! I'll be back !
A. G.
Food was well prepared presented and very tasty. House wine good value for money and portions pretty generous. Honest unpretentious, cooking aimed at pleasing not impressing you. Service was very good though not overly friendly. It's a bit cramped and decor a bit tired and certainly not trendy/ modern but also relaxed and cosy. Overall really enjoyed eating here for Mother's Day
L. M.
Excellent Italian food can not wait to return again once we are back in London. Highly recommended!
C. A.
This is my first time trying out this restaurant and I could only say the food , atmosphere & staff is amazing ! Thank you and I can’t wait to be back !
P.S the calamaris are a MUST!
10* overall !
A. F.
Lovely, old fashioned Italian restaurant. Excellent food, fresh daily specials, a friendly & efficient staff, what’s not to like?
T. G.
My wife and I made our first visit to Caprini yesterday after being recommended by a friend. We enjoyed a superb lunch and found the service and food quality to be excellent and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was quite and friendly and we will definitely visit again the next time we are in the London area. We noted some Italian speaking diners on the next table (always a good sign when using Italian restaurants). My only criticism is that we found the dining table to be a little too small for our liking that became a little cluttered, but the excellent service made sure that glasses and other bits and pieces not needed were quickly and quietly removed, which helped considerably. Well worth a visit if you are in the Waterloo area of London.
M. P.
I visited with my husband and two children last night, after a long day seeing the sights of London ( visiting from Cornwall).. This restaurant is just gorgeous... a little gem... rustic environment and rustic tasteful honest Italian food. I believe it’s a family run business, certainly had that fee about it.. the staff were just beautiful. So if you want to have a lovely meal, without rip off prices and gimmicks this is worth a visit... Thank you
D. S.
How I love this little restaurant. Simple and cozy, with very pretty décor and such delicious food. And such a huge plus point – NO music. It's such a luxury to feel that all too rare, old-fashioned calmness while dining, and to talk to one's companions with comfort and ease. Please, please never change! Absolutely lovely staff too.
R. B.
This is an old school Italian, next to Waterloo station. Friendly and approachable, excellent food at a long lunch with friends. Reasonably priced for the area. My only beef is the rather uncomfortable seats, but I'm skinny.
K. J.
Food was great, service not so much. We came in about 45 min prior to closing and though my bf had finished his dinner, I still had a few bites to go. The waiter actually came and took my plate while the fork was still in my hand. Maybe they wanted to close up of course, but in the time it would have taken to bring us the check, I would have actually finished my meal.
C. C.
This has been my favourite restaurant since my first visit in 1998! The owner who is actually Portuguese is lovely, he is friendly and makes sure that the service is second to none! Forget the Indian restaurant next door, if you are looking for a place to eat this is it! Casual dining downstairs, however, if you want something smarter book in advance and sit in the upstairs area... I've had many birthday celebrations here, with them providing a cake from a local bakery to help celebrate.
The staff are mainly family of the owner, this makes for a lovely atmosphere. The wine list is awesome with the wines being imported direct from Italy, highly recommend the Frascati! I have never had a bad meal here, have had most things on the menu, though I recommend the Veal dishes and the Pollo Caprini.
Note: weekends are very busy in the evenings, booking advisable.
Don't listen to the 1 star review on here (how you can complain about the staffs English when your written English is so bad!) in the numerous times in the pass 18 years I have never had a bad evening!
S. P.
Experience of eating at Caprini Restorante was superb. Many of the comments here are simply great and on par with our great experience. Fantastic homemade food and coffee beans were from South America.
Hopefully we can revisit since we were in London visiting family all the way from Australia. Great service and can't complain.
L. V.
I came here with colleagues some time ago. It is a cozy place to have Italian food. Lovely food with good portion size. Seafood spaghetti is recommended. The customer service is excellent and they always made you feel welcome.
I.
Authentic, delicious Italian.
G. P.
Good food, friendly staff
A. T.
I had my husband's 50th birthday dinner here and they were amazing. They sourced a cake for me, let me tinker with the set menu and were really patient with us taking hours to leave. My trout meuniere was delicious. Highly recommend.
A. M.
Great service, very forthcoming. Food minimalistic and tasty. Highly recommend!
G. H.
Enjoyable early dinner en route to nearby National Theatre. Caprini is handily located near Waterloo Station and opens at 5. We turned up around six and, with only a few early diners, managed a nice meal with plenty of time to head up to the river.
Classic old style London-Italian restaurant both in terms of the decor and the menu. We were pleasantly surprised by the seafood spaghetti and the carbonara and enjoyed creme caramel and cassata for dessert.
Decent house wine and perfect espresso to finish.
A. T.
The portions were very generous and the quality of the entrée and the mains were such that we had no hope of getting to the desserts. The Fettucine Carbonara and the veal were great mains and the pate and bruschetta were excellent openings. Pleasingly there was more than enough bread/toast accompanying the pate
R. T.
Very good food. One of the best Italian places in the area. We had arrabiata and gnocchi and both were excellent. Staff were friendly and light-hearted as well which added to the experience
M. R.
Both the food and the decor seem a little outdated in this restaurant. But that's not to say it's bad: the staff were friendly, my steak was good, and the portions are healthy. The service was also fairly quick.
A. P.
Lovely traditional family run Italian restaurant. We booked for pre-theatre lunch and they were swift serving our order as well as the food being delicious and very good value. We will return!
S. D.
Fantastic food, and great unhurried service
J. G.
Just outside Waterloo Station. Great food. Good staff
M. V.
It feels like you're traveling back in time in the 50s or 60s and you'd almost expect to see the Italian Mafia to stop by and have lunch there too. A very modest and humble restaurant in appearance. But don't get fool, the food experience is absolutely amazing! Loved it!
m. s.
Lovely meal, friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
J. J.
Nice family run Italian restaurant with nice portions. I've visited the restaurant several times before
R. W.
Quick service and good food. Would recommend.
O. C.
Good food, great staff, reasonable pricing! Would go again!
J. P.
Nice food, and seems like true Italian cooking. Not cheap but not expensive. Service is friendly and quick, although not too slick - that didn't bother me personally.
j.
Good food lovely people, well looked after.
Thanks for a nice night
J. P.
Excellent meal and service. We were not rushed or interrupted. Will go back.
K.
Tl;dr: Humbug, honestly. And oversized starters.
Placed my order of 2 main dishes of pasta. The waiter asked if I wanted starters, perhaps bruschetta? I replied that yes, I'd like 2 of those. What I got was 2 portions of bruschetta: 4 pieces of half a baguette with bland tomato and olive topping. When I asked how come I got 4, when I ordered two, the waiter said that I could just have read the menu closer.
My fettuccine was swimming in double cream.
Another reviewer called it a hidden gem. Certainly, sure. The interior and the toilet in the back looked antique... I'm not sold on the service and that kind of shoddy interior, however.
In the restaurant's defence, I do admit that the waiter might have caught me off guard, as I was hungry&tired. But the food does not even redeem this.
At most, and at my most generous, this was a 3/5.
Y. P.
great good quality & portion, value for money and great service. the manager and employees were attentive and made sure we were happy with their food and service. worth every tip we left at the restaurant.
R. H.
My wife and I were visiting London (without our kids) and we we walked past Caprini and decided to stop. We were glad we did, the staff was friendly and the food was great. We will be back to enjoy more food from Caprini.
L. R.
Old fashioned, traditional Italian restaurants. We all loved the food. Finding it hard to find family run restaurants these days, they are all being replaced by horrible chains.
R. W.
Was looking for Pizza came across this place. Cannot fault it. Food was excellent. Service too. Had my 2 children with me and the staff looked after us all. I recommend the Onion soup. Mmmmm
G. G.
A really nice authentic southern Italian restaurant in Waterloo.
A reasonable interior that gets a little cosy when busy, but friendly Italian staff and excellent food prove worth a visit.
Combine this restaurant with a visit to Waterloo's other venues such as The Vaults or IMAX for a night out.
T. S.
Lovely food
Great friendly service.
Felt very welcome and looked after.
c.
Very nice quiet restaurant outstanding food nice customer service recommend
T. G.
Lovely Vintage Italian Restaurant with great service & yummy comfort food.🇬🇧
Didn’t have wine because the prices per bottle were around £20, and very limited choice for price per glass.🙄
Convenient for Waterloo station & Waterloo East ☺️
S. F.
Pretty good place. The food wasn't something exceptionally good but it wasn't that bad either and for the price I paid that was to be expected. The service was a bit slow but otherwise very polite. What I loved about this place was the late 70's decor which was truly great and something you don't see so often these days, definitely worth coming again even if it's just for the decor.
R. R.
The place looks old and full of louts. But it's probably the best Italian restaurant I've been to in London. Yes, the service is done by old Grumpy Italian dudes that look like they will bitchslap you any minute. But it goes with the "paysage"! TRY IT! NOW!
B. D.
Family run restaurant serving good range of Italian food. Very friendly service. Convenient location and not expensive.
A. “. S.
Stopped here for some pizza and a glass of wine. The pizzas were okay, although a tad small and rather expensive. Also ordered a bottle of white wine to go with it, which prompted some commentary between the staff as they didn't expect us to understand them.
P. I.
Our best decision in London, near to Waterloo station, to try this restaurant.
Extremly delicious courses, perfect service.
Just go and try them!
Five plus stars.
K. m.
Not as good since the restaurant had changed owners, food was average and service was very slow
T. S.
Traditional Italian fayre. Quick, yummy, reasonable
s. m.
Good olde School Italian cooking accomodating and pleasant service.
M. V. D.
Like stepping back in time. I came here with my elderly mum and my daughter, we absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food here. It was an amazing experience with wonderful staff.
章.
It was good when I came here the first time, but it is now not as expected. I ordered the Pollo Caprini. The potatoes are nicely cooked, but the chicken is hard and dry.
t.
Very taste and good staff. Pizza was grest :)
D. H.
I am real fan of pastas and this is my favourite restaurant. Last time I ordered Fettuccini Romano and it was great. As far as I know they cook their own pasta.
T. C.
Food was good. The decor a bit dated, no child's portions and waitress not that knowledgeable on the ingredients (went with someone who was alergic to egg and nuts)
S. J.
I must have walked part this restaurant a hundred times and never looked in. That's a shame because I've been missing out. Really enjoyed the food and ambience here. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
M. C.
Very pleasant setting and really enjoyed the canolloni main although wasn't keen on the garlic mushrooms starter - reasonably priced for London would eat there again
M. F.
Nice little Italian, good food.
P. u. S. G.
Very tasty squid ala provance as starter, followed by a perfect steak within the menue for a reasonable price, served by a very good and friendly service.
It's highly recommended.
G. B.
lovely!!! the owner is so kind and considerate, and the food is great. it felt like i was having a family meal. highly recommend!!
M. O.
Not big, but cosy place to dine. Have even special child's high chair. Owner making sure that everyone is looked after. Tasty food.
G.
Stumbled across this quaint restaurant by accident and was delighted by the delicious food and great service.salad starter and cannelloni was well presented and excellent.. recommended venue 100%.. thank you!!
J. G.
Food was brilliant but the staff misserable not one cracked a smile which was a shame as it could be even better if they did.No atmosphere at all wont be going again.
R. G.
Absolutely outstanding, authentic and delicious food.
E. T.
Lovely food.
Good customer service.
N.
Wonderful little restaurant. Staff very friendly and food was tasty as ever.
N. B.
We went there on Thursday night, our last night in London. The food and welcome was fantastic. We are definitely going again when we next visit London. Best regards, Nick
A. S.
Hmmm. Not sure if I would revisit. Food was okay but we felt as though we were imposing on them ; not a particularly warm welcome, considering we were giving them some of our hard-earned money
J. O.
Food is very good, and a good portion size too. This is the second time I've eaten there and it's a gem. House red is fine too.
R. B.
Amazing service, great quality and huge portions!
B. M.
Great Restaurant Great Food Great Service!
A. G.
Delicious food especially off the specials menu
F. P.
Everything! Great food, deserts, coffee. Loved it. Looks simple. Cost is affordable. Close to Waterloo station. Real good Italian food.
G. T.
Lovely food as always, and great location for a good meal after a matinee at the National Theatre.
M. S.
Good food for a good price, but not a very friendly atmosphere. The waiter barely said a word and glared at costumers constantly.
N. E.
Just dined her again a short while back. Still the same delicious food! I had the veal marsala, EXCELLENT.Amazing place! Never disappoints!
L. F.
Good family vibe and great food
C. S.
I'm often surprised at how quiet this place is because it shouldn't be and makes me annoyed at this neighborhood. foods like, cheese, snacks, pizza and staff... are all great.
B. D.
Very old fashioned place, but food was good, get the feeling that it hasn't been changed in maybe 20 yrs?
M. S. A.
Service is incredibly slow, even when the restaurant is pretty slow. Waiters chatting amongst themselves. Food great though!
C. R.
Nice food good service. Not as friendly as about 6 months ago. Reasonable prices
A. B.
Did me something not quite on menu. Food always good and fair price.
J. G.
Very different menu that I would expect from an Italian restaurant. It was missing some of the classics like Chicken Parmigiano but they made it anyways
A. H.
lovely food, fusili with olive oil, asparagus tips, garlic and lashings of parmesan and black pepper. Good service too
A. M.
Good food at reasonable prices. Friendly service. Would go there again.
G. M.
Excellent Italian restaurant for the classic taste of Italy. Still family owned.
B. F.
The best restaurant in the area !
Small Italian place, with delishes food, full with flavour and fresh ingredients.
V.
It look like family business. Cozy, warm and make you feel welcome. Food looks and taste amazing.
R. B.
Brilliant lunch experience, great food, good house wine, and an affordable bill. Well done Caprini
P. R.
Always a relaxing atmosphere and congenial service in this traditional, unpretentious Italian eatery.
D. B.
A very good Italian restaurant in the city of London. The service is good and the pasta i heavenly delicious.
B. D.
I have been dining at CAPRINIS for 24 years. I have yet to find better service and such delicious steaks.
s. m.
Family owned since the 60"s, timeless good food, decent wine and great staff

Ottimo pasto regazzi! Fab meal and real italian quality service. Starter of meats, calamari, artichokes, eggs, asparagus etc was just amazing. The pizza of mushroom rocket and parmesan that followed was earthy enough to be truffled and the wine was Italian, punchy and flavoursome. This place is an unassuming gem that I hope gets the recognition it deserves. Great meal guys.

The vongole linguine was very good. Pizza was above average. Calamari and mussels were below average. Service was average. If you are a group, then you better watch out. Group of 4 need to order 4 mains even if any of the 4 is a child or they will be extremely displeased and may even ask you to leave.

Nice food, nice place, near BFI Waterloo, reasonable prices; would recommend.
Note that it seems like a small, family run place so food took longer to arrive than at a 'Pizza Express' type place (presume that was the reason). Wasn't inordinately long or anything mind you.
B. V.
The food was wonder service good

Traveling with a friend, we stopped by this restaurant - a last-minute decision. Excellent service & the food was amazing! Friend had the spaghetti & I had a delicious pasta - but oh, that goat cheese appetizer! Memorable! The two young women at the next table had pizza, which the said was delicious. It’s a small place, but worth a stop!

(Translated) We ate here 3 times during our London vacation. Our family really liked everything. The food is great, just like you know it from Italy. The service is very courteous and likes to make a little joke. They are very fond of children, one feels well served. The restaurant is a bit smaller and you sit a little closer together and when it's full it can be a bit noisy, but that's what makes a family restaurant. Many thanks to the operator we felt comfortable.

Surtout quand on voit les commentaires si bons.
Par contre. Pitié. Le chocolat en bouteille sur le tiramisu 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
