Reviews of Comptoir Libanais Wigmore Street
A. A.
Tasty food, amazing ambiance. I ordered the meze platter for two and another starter to share with my friend. It was excellent.
The hot chocolate was a tad bit too sweet, good otherwise. They have non-dairy milks.
Their lemonades are more exciting than they sound, definitely worth trying, especially if you don't want alcohol.
The staff were really friendly, and food arrived relatively quickly.
Definitely a nice place to bring someone for a nice relaxed chat over lunch/coffee/etc.

Maybe we got unlucky because we were not served fresh food. The kebabs were dropped on our table within a few seconds of ordering and clearly microwaved. The salad tasted old and had clearly been sitting in a fridge for more than a day too (look at my photo) We both had dodgy stomachs the next day. The rose tea and baklava was amazing though! Also beautiful decor inside.
L. C.
Lovely meal..fresh and tasty.. starter was a mixture of the starter menu then we had lamb kofta tagine.. all fresh.. couldn't fault it.. lovely place..very clean..lovely waitress Adriana
S. S.
Food was ok, Service was a bit slow but ok.
Price a bit steep for what it is,,but it’s west end so you’d expect that
R. A.
Nice ambience and good service. We enjoyed the lamb burger and grill platter. Rose tea was good. The mezze platter was ok (falafel was very dry). The bread was not fresh either.
B.
Eaten here many times. Quirky Lebanese decor serving Lebanese food and a buzzing atmosphere. Always busy at lunch times. Meze platter for two to share recommended. I had chicken wrap, somewhat overcooked in the Merrychef oven with not much flavour. Would revisit. Great to see order at table via their app.

We didn't have a reservation and the lady find us a table and was patient while waiting for friends to arrive.
The food was good and the lady brought us extra bread when we asked (no waiting time).
The staff was very nice, polite and helpful.
Be careful as they close at 9pm and they can be busy, we arrived at the right time.
Date visited 04.02.22.

This place's interior design is very beautiful and the kind of light you get is perfect, I really liked it. The food was good but I was not impressed. Their drinks, on the other hand, were pretty nice!
P. R.
What a nice and colourful place. Great service and very friendly employees. I highly recommend this restaurant.
D. P.
Amazing quality and taste. Must try! Very very tasty and excellent condition customer service, very kind and checking often even when it was quite busy. The lamb burger was the best I have tried so far in London...
F. Z.
The food here is really really good, the plate is super colourful.
Only thing is the price- there's a 40% service or VAT charge or something. Our total bill for 2 people (a filling meal) was £30, VAT and service charges included- which were about £5 altogether.
We ordered the Chicken Taouk wrap and the Lamb Kofta Kebab wrap, as well as a dish of halloumi (wasn't worth the £6, can make the same thing at home).
The plate of food comes with a fulfilling, very flavoursome salad. It also comes with a generous serving of hummus. The meal is a very filling dinner.
Bit expensive so I probably won't be eating here again!
A. S.
Excellent food and service, can highly recommend this place!
We shared many of the Mezze dishes, the portion sizes were reasonable. The mezze platter was my favorite, great mix of my favorites and very tasty. Wasn’t convinced of the halloumi, didn’t taste like much... but overall the food was excellent and arrived quickly!! 🤤 The interior is very neat and they put a lot of effort in small details. Our waiter was amazing: explained the menu, extremely kind and forthcoming, big plus! With regards to price, we each paid <17£ per person (incl. food, drink and service charge!), was more than worth it!
Great experience, great food 👍🏼
F. P.
I love this place. Their post-lockdown menu is a bit trimmer. One of my favourites is gone (aubergine fatteh) :( but I nevertheless found something to eat.
I had the Damascus olives to nibble (very nice with citrus peel and spices) then the aubergine and halloumi burger with fries, a harrissa dip and a garlic dip. I really enjoyed it. Give it a try it's worth it.
M. B.
The restaurant and decorations looks amazing takes you to Mediterranean But the food quality unfortunately couldn't much to beauty of the place I was expected very much better food also they charge a lot for service charge
J. D.
Food was good but service was terrible. Had to chase to get any attention (wasn’t exactly busy) with multiple errors on the bill.
C.
Delicious food and generous portions!
O. O.
Fantastic ambience at a great location! The food was very authentic and nostalgic, and I had a fantastic time with my friends at this place! Special thanks to my server Ming who was warm and extremely friendly and very accommodating of some of our friends' dietary restrictions! 5/5 would come back again.
R. W.
Delicious! Served quickly. Love the chili sauce and a lovely waitress recommended us amazing roasted cauliflower.
S. V.
FANTASTIC Lebanese food enjoyed in a very colorful and contemporary designed restaurant. Went for breakfast and all the food and fresh juices were excellent, fresh and really quite perfect.
M.
Nice everyday restaurant, very clean, dishes taste great. No real ‘wow’ factor but a good meal nevertheless.
F. A.
I would like to give 5 stars but the food tast is good enough to come again
But I don't feel that I'm in Lebanon
However, the price a little high but compared to other ones this is very good
I ordered mixed grill order
Ground beef and chicken tawook is ok
Ground chicken is good
I like the rice which is tasty
I also like the salad it taste different
The place is warm and nice to spend some time their with friends or family
I like the decorations and the wall touches
I wish if they have sound absorber like carpets or something
Overall nice experience

👍 worth to try

We casually end up eating in this restaurant. The service was a pleasant surprise. Sara was extremely competent and nice. We were new to the libanese cousins and Sara gave us very good advices. Everything was great and we’ll definitely come back.
A. S.
Oh my god what a find! This place is an absolute gem! The staff is fantastic (especially Ming), very attentive and super helpful. The food was delicious, the hummus was definitely in my top 10 of all times! The decor was fabulous, would definitely recommend a visit!
M. H.
Had a lovely meal, the food was excellent! Came with several mates and we had a great time. The service was particularly excellent, big thank you to Jih Ming who served us and was incredibly friendly and made our experience extra special :)
Z. B.
Had a very nice lunch today at the Comptoir Libanais. Our waitress Sarah was friendly and helpful, and she gave us some good recommendations and advice for gluten-free alternatives. A great place to go!
A. F.
Oh dear, I had high hopes for this place, after being seated and placing our orders, it took 30 mins for the food to come, I would understand if it was made to order but it wasn't, I ordered the lamb and chicken wraps along with falafel that tasted like it had been cooked from frozen, the guy that walked in behind me walked out after ordering a coffee which must have ended up in the bermuda triangle and not his table, and another couple also walked out as there food must have ended up in the same place, the abyss. The bill came to £27, your better off spending £9 more and going to Maroush around the corner. There was plenty of staff so not sure what the delay was. Unfortunately I won't be going here again.
R. A.
Sarah, Yajna and Ming were great. The spicy hot chocolate is delicious.
H. R.
Lovely little find just round the corner from Selfridges. Great food and great prices. Staff are very friendly and welcoming (thanks to our server Sara). The decor is very colourful and perfect for an instagram picture or two!
L. B.
Great restaurant decor and great location :)
I had a very large halloumi salad and also the falafal too. The food came up hot and it really was so very tasty and the feel of the restaurant was very authentic Lebanese!..
The restaurant staff that served me were so very polite and always aware of what I needed. Sara Maj and Fatima thank you so much for your outstanding service om the day :)
M. F.
It's very cheerful. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. All this for a reasonable price.
R. &. S.
Food was great and so was the service! Thank you so much Ming, we had such a great time and you went over & above to make our event a success! Would definitely recommend :)
L. C.
Great food and I loved the servers but they were a bit slow sometimes. But they were seriously lovely people
S. H.
Excellent meal with relaxed, but attentive service. Reasonable cost, central and appointed with great charm.
T. N.
Their mint tea is nice, speciality of house,
As well as other traditional items from menus as tagines and other stuff
H. V.
Delicious food and great waiters! And we didn’t feel rushed at all!
s. d.
Comptoir Libanais is always fantastic, a combination of the food, the decor, the music.
Sara served me today and although it was packed, she was very attentive, helpful with a great attitude and a smile. It was very busy today. If I could give another star, it will be for her and her hard work.
It was greatly appreciated
Thank you Sara.
M. H.
Great food and the portion sizes were generous.
J. B.
Very nice location and decor. Second time at a comptoir that resulted in a massive headache trying to work out the bill and getting orders sorted with the app.
V.
Very nice place with great food, tasty and great service...especcialy nice lady Sara who recomend a great lebanone dishes.

Good but I think the mixed grill cooked on the oven they don't have barbecue
T. S.
Ming is the best waiter I've ever been served by. Very helpful
A. H.
Happened to be in the area and this looked like a lovely place. Visited 1st time with hubby and 3 little ones. They loved the decor- bright, cheerful and quirky. Food was delicious, kids ate happily and their mango cheesecake was the best I have tasted! Great service, they happily obliged when the kids asked for extra plain bread. Bit pricey for us but we hardly venture into London to eat as a family so was a lovely treat.
L. G.
amazing food... the sharing plate for 2 I would eat alone hahaha perhaps they should make bigger :p
M. W.

Really amazing service from Sarah, Fatima and Ming! Super attentive to us and speedy table service. Food was delicious, definitely going to be back more often.
J. F.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and the service was excellent. I had the mezze platter and the shish taouk which was reccomended by Ming, who was very attentive and friendly. Will be returning!
R. C.
A bit on costlier side but the food is super delicious and the ambience is really good. Totally worth it.
T. M.
If you around the place you should try it. Nice Lebanese cuisine.
Z. R.
The most tasty Lebanese food in the capital! Highly recommended :)
A. M. S.
Good but I think the mixed grill cooked on the oven they don't have barbecue
N. B.
Lovely food, friendly staff, loved the grilled chicken salad.

We had a fabulous meal today at Comptoir Libanais and the amazing Valentin took care of us as if we were kings. He is amazing
A. P.
Food was super tasty and the service great! Sarah was very nice and helpful. I will definitely go back!

Visited twice at the same location. The soup of the day was lentil soup on both occasions, not complaining - it's delicious (would recommend). The harissa chicken salad is fantastic, but would not recommend for someone with intolerance to spicy foods. Hummus is a definite yes, super smooth and creamy.
Would not recommend the rose tea, it is too sweet and it is essentially rose flavouring in water.
The reason for 4 star and not 5 is staff service. First visit staff service was good. Second visit, the restaurant was practically empty and the staff was still inattentive towards existing customers. Waitresses would rather chat than wait on the tables. Our waitress was also had a bit of an attitude as she served us. Would still revisit despite this!
S. M.
portions are slightly small but nice food
A. M.
Great neighborhood eatery, go there for my Lebanese fix as a vegetarian. The platter and halloumi are great.
J. H.
Amazing food. Great service - Ming who served us was friendly and quick - thank you!
R. G.
Excellent food, really friendly and helpful staff - a must visit when in London if you like Lebanese food.
B. S.
Very nice food, mezze for two being an example. Had a very nice lunch. Quite friendly and relaxed staff.
D. A.
Really loved this place, delicious food and the staff was so friendly and sweet! I had the batata hara and halloumi zaatar manousha 😍
A. A.
Good food but staff was a bit slow, they keep forgetting about things you order and you need to remind them again and again.
M.
Really good environment & really good staff went for a meal with my partner & would definitely go again too quality food with service
A.
Delicious treat alongside fresh rose mint tea!
K. A.
I had a falafel and aubergine wrap. It was extremely good. There was a salad, pickles and homous too.
G. P.
I absolutely love Comptoir! Food is always delicious, the chilli sauce is great and staff if super nice as well! It’s a good place to eat in, the decoration and music are very pleasing.
I literally order from them 3/4 times a week, would highly recommend :)
N. S.
Great friendly and attentive service, divine food!
a. p.
excellent resto. i liked everything about it, from the decor, comfort, service, food and drink.
L. J.
Gorgeous restaurant on Wigmore Street. Great food and colourful decor.
D. M.
Nice food and ambiance. The plates are sufficient for 1 person. The one star is less due to being double charged as they had machine issues and other than saying they would refund me once I emailed them(which is done now). They did not make us feel like they were too sorry about the issue. Slight improvement in customer service and this would be a good place to frequent
K. D.
Really enjoyed the service and food. Ming provided excellent service and gave an excellent hair salon recommendation for my wife.
M. B.
Fantastic food, great sized portions and reasonably priced too
M. H.
Lovely authentic Lebanese. Very taisty salads, and the humus: best I've twisted in ages. Very good value too.
N. H.
Pleasant enough but the hot wrap I ordered didn't appear to be freshly prepared. Food was tasty and the service friendly though the cold starter and hot main arrived together and as soon as I had finished the main I was asked if I wanted my bill. I didn't really want to stay any longer to be honest but if you don't want people sitting after their meals just do takeaway!
F. F.
The platter with baba ganoush, hummus, yoghurt, fattoush salad etc made me happy. It really is special. The tagine I ordered had the correct flavours but the rice wasn't cooked, very hard and unpleasant which is a shame. I saw that other customers who ordered tagine didn't eat it too.
S. R.
Ming was great! He was the best employee there :- )
M. M.
Gorgeous decor, and delicious food - even on their reduced 'covid' menu we all found something inc vegetarian and vegan options. Our server was very helpful with suggestions and checking everything was suitable for our vegan guest.
Felt very comfortable with the social distancing measures in place
Our server, who's name I cannot remember (sorry- lovely Australian guy on a sunday) was amazing!will definitely return
M. D.
Beautiful place, awesome food and good service. The only down thing is not enough toilets downstairs for the number of the tables and seats.
I. F.
Very good food. Funny place.
R. B.
Had lunch here one weekend. Service was fine and dishes were quick to arrive. The wrap was nice, but the salad was drenched in vinegar and was a bit too much for me to finish (and usually I love salad). My husband has chicken wrap which was nice but not as nice as the lamb wrap. Overall fine but a bit overpriced for what you get.
J. N.
There's a reason they now have branches throughout the UK and across the world, delicious food and a lovely casual ambience - the original is still the best though. 👌
R. G.
One of the most exciting and colourful interior design I've seen! The restaurant attracts with the delicious exotic food menu and lovely home made drinks! I had the rose lemonade and it was absolutely fantastic! Go and try it out for yourselves! The food is amazing too! It's a win win!
E.
Delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere in a cosy restaurant.
F. P.
Great Lebanese eatery serving a wide range of wholesome middle eastern foods and drinks, all cooked to order and in generous quantities. Appears to be family run, which probably accounts for the attentive service. Very reasonably priced, thank you for a nice healthy meal with decent service.
M. T.
I have dined with several branches of this restaurant but the one that is near harly street the service is rubbish. I ordered my fave a pile and ginger drink and I was told will take about 5 minutes to make which I agreed. I am already done eating which lasted me about 30-40 minutes and I have not received my drink at all. It was not busy as I ate at 3:30 and there are only 6 customers. And the unfortunate part they charged me for the drink I never had. So I have to tell them that they never served any drinks at all except for the tap water I asked for. Considering it was the same staff who took my order served my food took my plate and charged me for that drink.
I didn't bother to follow up my drink coze it wasn't busy and I was patiently waiting for her to serve me my drink. But she didn't even bother to ask how the food was and pretend to be busy walking up and down when clearly there was not a lot of people inside at that time.
The food was good but the wrap is a bit chewy and a bit cold. Maybe it was not my good day then.
S. N.
Comptoir has a lovely, colourful decor. I really loved the food, it was perfectly spiced . This restaurant definitely lives upto Mediterranean cuisine. Portion served was perfect for one person. Its definitely a must try restaurant for Lebanese cuisine lovers.
F. R.
Amazing service by Sara and Ming, lovely night and food delicious as always. Thanks for the beautiful night.
C. M.
I had an excellent espresso there and they sell authentic and delicious Turkish delight. The place looks very cool, it has a nice atmosphere and the food on display looks really appetising. The staff were friendly but the service however was really slow. There was more than enough staff for the number of customers, but a 20 minute coffee took twice as long as it should have. I would go again, but I would make sure I had the time to wait.
T. E.
Fantastic venue and beautiful food
t. c.
Very welcoming staff and delicious food
N. M. D.
Great atmosphere, tasty food and drinks. Sarah and Ming, were awesome.
M. G.
It's hard to put my finger on it but this place us just average. Things like salad in a bowl that overflows. Soup that just isnt hot enough. The staff are very nice and the food is certainly good. It's a bit telling when most of the other places nearby are full but I was able to get a table. Don't get me wrong I wasn't dissapointed I just wouldn't give it a real recommendation
M. S.
Go there for the interiors of this place. Comptoir Libanais is not a place for fine-dining. Nor is it a decked-up kebab shop. It is a place for casual eating. I ordered a wrap for the main course, and it was quite nice. The service strangely was so so slow. We were actually seated on a corner table, and I guess the waitress couldn't see us from where she usually stood. So we had to wait for almost half an hour for the bill (not kidding). We got so frustrated waiting for them to come and collect the bill that we kept the money on the table and just walked out of the restaurant. But this might have been a one-off. I would probably go back again cos of the decent food and moderate prices.
Oh, and I completely forgot! The best part are the interiors. They are very vivid and lively. If you're not a die-hard fan of Lebanese food, I would still recommend you go and see the interiors of the place.
A. R.
Fantastic find! Was walking along Soho wanting something different and stumbled upon this restaurant. It's amazing value for money. Wraps, fresh flavoured lemonade, amazing desserts. Great when you are on a budget or don't want to overspend and be underfed. You should definitely try this one.
B. W.
Nice place for good lunch. Loving Lebanese in London
H. P.
Light and healthy lunch. My expectations were high since I use their cookbook. One of the lamb cofta was below standard. Service good and fast. I enjoy the colourful interior.
J. H.
Nice food not too expensive. Not crowded (Tuesday 1:30pm). Friendly staff.
v. c.
Lovely and colourful restaurant and very tasty food.
G. P.
Great experience!
T. S.
Lebanese food done well. Ample portions and colorful atmosphere. Just what the doctor ordered for two wayfaring tourist, seeking a late night dinner with a price point to match. This is a chain of 10 restaurants in London England. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.
H. A.
Great place, the food is top notch. The interior reminds me of Lebanon. Highly recommended.
L. B.
Love this place, the food is just gorgeous, I have never had a disappointing meal here. The decor is fab too. I will take photos next time I go to post on here. This place is a treasure trove 🥰
E. H.
Excellent decor and surroundings. Great Lebeonese food at reasonable prices. The deserts are to die for. Excellent service , especially Charles.
J. N.
Service slow. Although not busy hot choc cold. I have been here before and the meal was very good. So I think maybe a bad day
A. T.
Great place to eat and relax . Food was excellent , and all served with a smile and great service .
J. W.
The food was not that tasty as I was expecting to be before arriving the place. However, the meze Grill hallumi with tomato 🍅 was the highlight, in my opinion. The chocolate cake dessert was great as it comes with a thick yogurt not that sweet matches perfectly with the chocolate tart.
The location is fine. It is right there in west end. It’s around between Marylebone and oxford street.
Service: it’s was fine. Not the Best, but ok. Despite of the fact that the food came really quickly. The service needs more improvement.
Ambiance: it’s ok. Kind of cosy place
Price: razonable - affordable sure
S. M.
Food is good but a bit more westernised than your typical Lebanese that you can find in abundance on Edgware Road. Food is ok but maybe a bit too precise and up market for me given the price. Better value to be had elsewhere. Still a good option if you are hungry and in the locality and fancy Lebanese food.
J. M.
Remember when Leon's was better than it is now? That's what Comptoir Libanais is like. It feels very much the same, though the food is middle-eastern based-- that sort of nice chain feel. Service was slightly grumpy, but quick and efficient, the food was nice and flavoursome, decent baklava, good dressing on the salad (even if it didn't quite match the description), worth checking out.
Basically, an alternative to Leon's or Wagamamas, rather than a proper restaurant, but worth going to if you're in the area.
P. B.
Friendly staff, tasty food
A. S.
Not the prettiest place in London but the food was very good. Fresh and quickly served too. Was a nice surprise to walk in off the street to a random restaurant to find a good lunch when out shopping up a storm. we'll be back.
O. W.
Fresh, tasty and lovely looking dishes that are as pleasing on the eye as the brightly coloured decorations and products stacked high upon the walls. Very well priced but sometimes service can let the place down.
I. B.
Had to ask 3 times (40 mins) for some water to drink and each time the server acted as if it was the first time we'd asked. Halloumi and tomato mezze is very oily. The only saving grace is that the chicken wings are delicious.
L. B.
Delicious as always, and service adds up to the experience.
A. B.
Fantastic food and service at this restaurant from Sara and Ming!
P. S.
Delicious food, incredible service by Ming.
E. K.
Beautiful place. Friendly staff. Food is always good.
S. K.
I stumbled across this gem recently. Once I had taken in the authentic Lebanese decor, setting and atmosphere I found I was completely spoilt for choice; after much thought I finally opted for the Sojok (oven baked flat break with spicy lamb sausage and halloumi cheese) and apple, mint and ginger lemonade, followed by mint tea. Both the food and drinks were equally refreshing and before finishing my meal I was already planning my next visit!
Word of warning: the restaurant can fill up quickly but don't be put off by the crowd. Staff are highly attentive and food is served quickly.
C. M.
Excellent food excellent service great lemonade!!

We have been to last Sunday evening to the Wigmore street Branch We all chose different dishes so we could have a taste of each. The favourite starter was the Mezze to share . Our mains were divine - my lamb & prune with rice was great. My daughter had the Chicken tauq wrap platter was delicious. A small oversight with the lamb simbosek was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. The dessert was cheeses cake and Baklawa was excellent. The Manager recommended a Mint Tea from the house was Fabulous .Overall, a memorable day, superb food and a wonderful experience great staff and service Recommended.... Next time will back to London and Visit again .

Very special decoration and happy ambiance make this place a great discovery! They have a lot of vegetarian options and great hallumi cheese plates. The falafels are delicious and the chocolate cake is very tasty
C. S.
Great food and unique atmosphere. Worth the visit!
E. C.
Great atmosphere, tasty food. First time eating lebanese it was lovely. Plus it serves gluten free. Rest rooms are down the stairs
T. A.
Nice place to enjoy meal with your loved ones or mates. Customer service was ok too but bit expensive as we paid £28.58 for 2 burgers and fries.
C. B.
Fantastic food. Great staff
N. H.
Great service, staff are very attentive. Had the wrap platter which was delicious and portions are a good size. Try the rose mint tea it is really refreshing.
S.
Excellent, authentic food and attentive patron and servers. Thank you.
A. F.
You order the Meze for two and it's on the table in 3 mins and that's fine, it's Meze, it tastes good the falafel good be better. Staff were nice, the coffee was ok. Great if you find yourself in the area and want something quick.
a. a.
Shakshoka was great .. I like this resturant
Clean .. Nice .. Delicious
R. B.
If you like Lebanese food mixed up with funky atmospheres, this is the place for you! Nothing pretentious, just a good place for a quick lunch between two shops in the heart of trendy Soho. The menu offers a wide selection of traditional dishes, from mezze to shawarma, for a decent quality and very attractive prices. You will guess that it is mainly the interior which has driven my attention: quite colourful and full of cute details, that make the place both cheerful and original, putting you in a good mood for the rest of the day.

The place is amazing. It is mix of everything, the have got a nice bazar, delicious food and friendly stuff. I have been there at breakfast time and I got out with a big smile and lovely picture. Truly recommend

We went to London for quick formal appointment, and when we finished it we walked to Gloucester Road Station my Husband was like let’s have late breakfast here So when we saw the decor and the vibes even the Breakfast end at 11:30 but we wanted to stay because they have some meals good for breakfast ,the service very quick and friendly staff we enjoyed our meals thank you
J. C.
Really quaint Lebanese with some great food and atmosphere. I enjoyed sitting outside relaxing at a table watching the world go by. Staff really friendly and well worth a visit.
A. A.
Try the cheese and za’atar topped Man’oushe 👌🏼
F. M.
We had a variety dishes , each were excellent. Service was friendly, quick and attentive.
Highly recommended
S. A. S.
Friendly and efficient staff. The food of Comptoir is amazing as always. Wish they offered some deals or discounts for students.
v. b.
The taste is really good.
Be careful while making payment please check the bill before paying as they might accidently or willingly add more items to your bill which you didnt order for.
G. M.
Pretty design, delicious food, good prices, friendly staff, free desserts, outside seating available...just lovely 😊
S. D.
My first time eating Lebonese food and I really enjoyed my lamb and holllumi burger with spicy potatoes. Next time I am in the area I would definitely like to go back.
B. T.
Decent fresh food, a bit pricey for what they offer, but I guess is the location you're paying for. £50 for lunch isn't that cheap, no starters or desert
G. J.
That's another fine meze you've got me into. Worth a visit if you are near Oxford Street, say looking for Edward Lear's green plaque or getting CDs in HMV (ok I admit it, giving my interests away there) or .... shopping.
Not cheap, but we are in the land of mega rent and eye watering rates. They do a fine meze and speciality Lebanese food and drinks. Basically a café rather than a restaurant, it also sells Lebenese produce and decorative items.
Friendly efficient staff, clean loos.
E. K.
Delicious food and very lovely staff ❤️
M. V.
Nice food but after I left all my clothes were soaked with kitchen smell.
Staff not very professional.
S. F.
If you're looking for something fast, super tasty and well cheap - get yourself to Comptoir Libanais. You can't say the name without sounding massively pretentious, but the food is delicious so who cares? Go. Now.
P. L.
Great food, friendly service.
I. I.
Just OK. Can't really say that it serves authentic labanese food, normal food, bit pricey. The decoration is bit creative.
S. P.
Lovely food. Loved the fatoush, kofta tagline and the chicken wrap. Also try the lemonade with ginger and mint. A very unique drink.
Q. A.
One of the best restaurants in London. Excellent service, very kind staff and delicious Libanais and Arabian food.
A. M.
Great Lebanese cusine. The Platte is very collectively tasty. The drinks are nice. For lover of strong taste food from middle east
D. K.
Good food, but felt very overpriced
B. W.
just had their takeaway (ordered via Seamless to my office) and it was some of the best takeaway food I've ever had, 5/5 - fresh, delicious and super tasty - out of this world! Thanks, B
I. N.
Food is excellent, and the staff are friendly and provide fantastic service.
Good value for money
R. T.
Fast, efficient Lebanese food. The wraps were great though the halloumi salad came across a bit dry. The mezze platter looked fantastic.
F. R.
One of the best restaurants in the area. To try: Fattet moussaka, with eggplants, yogurt, crispy pita bread and onions plus a bit of pomegranate seeds on top.
M. A.
They serve delicious food, many options in the menu. The tea with rose water is tasty. They serve good breakfast. Staff nice.
E. a. F.
I love this cosy Lebanese spot: its bright and colorful design, the light from the big windows, the fresh and tasty food, the smell of sumac spice.
Enjoy a classic middle-east mezze with hummous, falafel, olives, baba ganoush and pitta bread; or try the grilled halloumi salad, drizzled with my favourite mix of spices, the za'atar. Fancy a drink? Fresh lemonade with rose syrup. Refreshing and irresistible!
A. R.
Oct 2012 - Terrible.. the service has gone from bad to worse..I waited around for 5 minutes waiting to be served. The guys behind the teller were just busy laughing and giggling to themselves. I asked to be served, was just ignored.. I walked out and went to selfridges.. same thing - even cheaper. Will probably never go back!
M. K.
Delicious food. The Fattet Lamb Kofta is incredible. Very friendly and polite staff. Not touristy. Would totally recommend it.

Great food, not spectacular. The place and atmosphere are very nice and pleasant. The staff was super nice.
S. A.
The food is moderate. Have food not Mediterranean which not tested as it should be. Staff does not have a customer service approach. They are a little tough.
J. M.
What else can you ask? the food was tasty and with a great service, not to count the fair price. I will return over and over to this one.

Lunchtime levelled up a notch when I discovered Comprior Libanais in Marylebone. The halloumi and olive wrap is delicious
B. W.
Very fresh and flavoursome food, plus a deli counter where you can pick up food to go and specialty sweets like baklawa or nougat etc.
T. B.
Marylebone branch of the small, but growing, upmarket Lebanese restaurant chain. Set two streets back from Oxford Street, it's a five minute walk from the shops, but away from the crowds. Try the rose mint tea!
E. M.
I had a chicken taggine, quite good.
L.
One of my most favourite food locations in Town. Great food and friendly staff.

(Translated) The general atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, the food is delicious and delicious.
The service is very excellent, although they are few, but they are very helpful.
We tried a tagine, I don't remember what it was called, but the first tagine on the menu was very tasty, and the mezze was delicious too.
Also, we asked for a grilled mix, which was special, only the meat. The rest was very normal.
The dishes are once in a while, and one kebab is enough for two people.
Prices are high. Three dishes and two drinks cost us 58 pounds.

(Translated) And if there is a sixth star, Jean, I put it after 😍 First, the service is excellent and there is a waiter on his girlfriend’s hand and smiling all the time // The decoration is sweet and the right to photograph 👌🏼 The food they have is delicious and clean and the salad is a fantasy and the outside seating is warm and has an umbrella // They have sweet cheese samosas and and falafel
