Reviews of De Amicis

Family run restaurant full of quaint trattoria-charm and a simple menu of Italian classics. Food was quite basic, but appropriately priced. I had the crab spaghetti which tasted good. The ragu tagliatelle lacked flavour and needed much more seasoning. The calamari and prawn/avocado starters were fine. Service was prompt and polite.

Very nice privately owned Italian restaurant, owned by Italians. Food was tasty, well cooked and hot. Reasonably priced for where it is. Good value.

Excellent service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere.
We loved the soft music playing in the background and together with the lighting and the décor, they really made us feel like in a corner of Italy.
The food was delicious, we ordered a variety of starters, mains and desserts and everything was extremely nice!
The staff were lovely, very attentive, whilst at the same time giving us enough space to enjoy the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant.
Everything was perfect. Thank you for hosting our special event - we couldn't wish for a nicer experience!

Traditional family run Italian restaurant. Authentic food that tastes amazing. Very reasonably priced meals & good size portions. If you haven’t tried here put it on your list of places to eat.

I’ve been here on dates, birthdays, with family and friends and i’ve never had an unpleasant time. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. This is a traditional Italian restaurant run by a great manager and very nice staff. A great selection of dishes on the menu that seem to satisfy every guests needs. Vapiano has nothing on this place. I’ll be going here for the rest of my life!

I visited this place with my girlfriend and a couple of friends for dinner. The restaurant was fully booked because of the “Eat out to Help out” scheme but the manager squeezed us in somehow which we highly appreciated.
The overall experience was positive. The service was good however they seemed to be slightly understaffed. Food was good but the pizza was very hard/crunchy. The premises looked very old but clean, in general.
It’s definitely worth a try.
