Reviews of Dozo South Kensington
Y. C.
Fast service and delicious food. The volcano Maki was the absolute best! However, the restaurant seating isn’t the best. Booking is highly recommended before you plan your trip.
O. C.
Amazing place for sushi! Lots of great options to choose from and the sushi is super fresh. They also have a really good lunch menu which comes with green tea and miso soup. The volcano roll is amazing! Come here pretty regularly and always hits the spot. Would definitely recommend!
M. F.
A lovely, cosy place. Excellent food, a wide variety of fresh sushi rolls and other Japanese food to order from. Their specialty rolls are delicious! Friendly staff - didn't feel rushed even though the place was very busy on a Tuesday night. You do have to be comfortable with being seated very close to others, though.
l. g.
Wow! General Japanese family style menu (I.e. a bit of everything Japanese). I can vouch that the tempura and the katsu curries are both very good. And also very well priced! Highly recommended.
M. M.
I really love the food from this place. Get takeaway all the time and yesterday went to eat in. Really nice kind old boy served us well. My friend thought it was the best chicken katsu she'd ever had and very fair prices for the amazing food you get! The seating upstairs is really cool too and funky as it's depressed into the floor to make it more traditionally like a Japanese where you'd have to sit crossed legs. Thanks for the wonderful time and obviously will be back. Crunchy spicy tuna and a bento box for me every time!
M. A.
Came for dinner with my family . We loved our japanese style mains which were amazing with lots of flavour, very impressive for a japanese restaurant.
But the service was below average and the complimentary soup were terrible to finish.
When we arrived at 6:00, we set immediately, but, it took 10 minutes to get the menu despite the restaurant was not full.
We ordered the shrimps as a start up and they looked delicious. But, it came after the main course
For the main courses we ordered tiger rolls and volcano rolls. Both were delicious and presented in a style.
I came with my wife, son and daughter. They donee have much for kids and the disappointment they don’t have high chair for kids. Every restaurant shall have a high chair for kids except if the restaurant doesn’t allow kids to come.
It was an existing experience, the mains were just fantastic, service was 6/10 since we waited for long time to get the menus and they serve the mains before the starter. And finally, I am disappointed that they don’t have a high chair for kids.
D. C.
Had the spicy ramen and it was fantastic, there is an extensive Japanese menu and will definitely be returning to try the rest of it, fast service, reasonable prices and great food.
A. P.
Great service, food was very tasty, we tried a full range, from wagyu nigiri to the seafood ramen. I recommend the dozo cocktail and the hot sake.
A. L.
Delicious food, very pricey for what I got (volcano roll) and i love the novelty of the japanese seat setting but what was the 12.5% service charge for????? The service was poor as the waitor asked me to 'hurry up' and didn't allow me to enjoy my food. There were more seats downstairs so i dont understand why everything is so rushed, definitely ruins the mood of dozo
C. Y. C.
Fast service and food is good. The restaurant seating isn’t the best.
L. B.
Food is amazing my favourite Japanese restaurant. They do great lunch menus but it does get very busy. Booking is highly recommended so your not disappointed. At busier times the food can take a while, but it's worth the wait.
V. W.
Cute little restaurant in South Kensington. The food was a good average, it wasn't amazing but it was pleasant enough that I would go there again. Prices are very reasonable for a Japanese restaurant in that area. The Japanese style seating is cute but extremely awkward to get in and out of. The novelty of the seats do wear off pretty quickly. Having said all of this, I would like to go back and try some of the other items on the menus :)
T. F.
Tasty and authentic food, pleasant and courteous service, but I've had as good food for a lot less money elsewhere.
Odd 'pits' to climb in and out of to sit down at the table that don't lend themselves to getting up or sitting down elegantly. Ladies in short dresses beware! You'll be winking at all your fellow diners.
K. K.
This was some of the best sushi I’ve had in the UK. I really enjoyed the food and the staff were polite. It’s a bit small, but I think there was a downstairs which I could only assume had bigger seating. I was very happy with the service here and will be back.
A.
Best ramen you can have in london. Staff are amazing, and prices are extremely good. Could be the best place for japanese in London for sure!
S. M.
Love the food here always. Always my first sushi restaurant choice. Only downfall is that it’s very pricey for some very small portions, and the restaurant seating isn’t great. Other than that, the food is amazing.
k. l.
Ordered the Ramen- was delicious. However, was told that we would need to give up the seats for people coming in. Definitely not ideal if you are wanting to spend more enjoying your food. You are better off elsewhere. That easily took off a star from my rating. Otherwise, good ambiance and water kept on getting topped up which is a good sign that waiter/waitress are paying attention.
F. S.
Traditional Japanese food very well made, very well presented. And it still has some very interesting modern Japanese dishes...worth a try
D. H. W.
We LOVE this rest, everything is fresh, great quality, ramen is extra juicy, sushi is perfect. Customer service is very nice, make sure you book because it gets super busy on weekends.
F. ف. M. م.
I loved their sashimi especially tuna and salmon. Rainbow maki and dragon rolls were perfectly done. Very professional for Japanese food. I totally Recommended if you craving sushi in London.
J. P.
Sashimi was decent. Unagi don has too much rice and too little eel.
j. d.
there was a little worry before visiting kensington branch due to the recent low rated reviews, but the seafood was definitely fresh but the roll was too tiny compared to what I had to pay for.
D. S.
They serve really really good sushi. At times can be hit and miss, but mostly great. Also recommend to come here for lunch, the place provides good options for it.
D. K.
We visit Dozo almost every two weeks and its a nice little Japanese restaurant. I have to say that it’s not 100% Japanese but its food taste good.
My personal favourite is the tsunami sushi - which is a bit pricey but the melted sauce and roll matched perfectly. This the best tsunami that we have ever had (and is much better than the tsunami found in other more authentic/famous sushi places).
We usually order a beef nabe and unagi don - they are pretty good but not amazing.
Y. L.
It is an affordable restaurant. Some days, you might need to wait up to 20 minutes but some days you don't need to wait at all. One of the restaurants I visit regularly. I recommend the menu "spicy tamtam ramen" with "dozo fresh"
E.
Below £10 is cash only. They charge 12.5% service fee but I can’t even get my water even I asked for 3 times... until I finished and paid the bill, the waitress brought the water and said ‘Opps I forgot’.
Food is Ok.
N. K.
Usually quite busy so recommend to make a reservation ahead of time. Food is delicious and comes fast. We tried miso soup, edemame, salmon sashimi, some rolls, and ebi tempura, all were quite good. Prices were OK for this kind of restaurant around this neighborhood.
G. M.
Sushi is of a very high standard with efficient if somewhat cold service.
S. F.
Excellent service and the staffs are patient. Volcano maki is a must and the udon is mouth watering !
J. J.
Amazing food! Great service, the staff were attentive and great! The volcano Maki was the star of the show!
T. M.
The restaurant itself is a bit cramped but the food is absolutely delicious. I have been visiting Dozo for years and honestly don't see myself stopping anytime soon!
M. Y. s.
For the affordable price, it is a solid four stars.
Decent dependable Japanese food.
M. S.
Well we visited here on Friday the 16th of September after a very long day as a result of the terror attack at Parsons Green and problems arriving in London by rail as a result of a fire.
I mention this as our day/night got instantly better by choosing this restaurant as we were transported back to our honeymoon in Japan, my wife made it clear that for nearly four years she had not tasted a Japanese meal that compared to being in Japan until we visited Dozo.
I was disappointed by the price of their Japanese beer but was happy with all other pricing taking into account where we were and the quality.
The missing star is because the staff although being very efficient, lacked warmth or personality, this isn't a culture thing, because as I've said I previously stayed 17 days in Japan and was always met with amazing hospitality. This led to me begrudging a discretionary tip without being given a real option to accept or decline the 12.5% service charge.
P. P.
If you want authentic Japanese food / atmosphere then this is a great place to go and it is close to both Gloucester Road station or South Ken station.
The menu is long and if you are not familiar with Japanese food then u need extra time as not all the food items are explained.
Food was very nice and the staff was great, just hope the booking time was a little longer so didnt feel rushed.
Pop in and try something different :)
P. K.
Excellent Japanese food and lovely traditional ambience. The vegetable tempura and the agedashi tofu are outstanding. The spicy garlic edamame is delicious as well.
B. C.
Great food, but a bit inconsistent policies: they don't write anywhere that you need to order for at least £10 per person until you actually come around to order and it doesn't add up.
Y. C.
Overall a decent place for sushi and other Japanese good however I wouldn’t be overly excited about it
Z. H.
Nice ambience to dine. Cheap lunch set prices. Will definitely come back here again.
E. B.
On monday we didnt wait more than 5 minutes to get a seat.
The Dozo menù with salmon, Rice and vegetables was easily enough for on person. We spent 10 pounds each thanks ti the lunch menù formula.
F. F.
Thoroughly enjoyed everything from food to service as well as the den they say is in downstairs. Some dishes are very authentic Japanese and I can't wait to visit again
T. F.
Tasty authentic food, but expensive for what it is and represents poor value for money. Similar dishes at lower prices in better surroundings are available elsewhere.
K. M.
£7.90 Pork katsu curry 🍛 🍴 was not bad but not amazing. Personally think the curry flavour isn't rich enough, a tad too much water 🍶 perhaps~
L. L.
Family restaurant, feel warm and closely! serve nice food! Surprisingly Ramen is better than many other places in London.
Z. Z.
Great food fast service. The Volcano sushi, the dragon and the tenderloin were excellent!
p. b.
Amazing food and friendly staff...I highly recomended!
H.
This is the best sushi I’ve ever had, super delicious.
After one year, I came again and it's the same delicious food👏
Bernard is the best he is super friendly 👌
A. K.
Excellent food, massive selection. Not a huge sushi fan but really enjoyed the meal-lots of innovative dishes, must try the spicy tuna roll and the spider roll. Also loved the grilled aubergine. Tad on the expensive side, seating is eclectic but fun. Plenty of sake options as well.
K. R.
Food was tasty but i get double paid for my order
H. A.
Away from the very well known high end sushi places in London. this place will give you more authentic experience. The seating, the waiters and the food comes together as a unique experience. Overall you should try it at least once. I recommend making reservation as it usually get crowded especially in weekends.
R.
My favourite Sushi place! Quality of food is great, staff are great and atmosphere is also great. Dozo never disappoint!
M. D. F.
First time going to Dozo Kensington and have to say food is as amazing as in the one in Soho!
T. B.
Love the place, unbelievable verity. The volcano, and all salmon dishes are amazing
j.
Decent lunch menu under a tenner, with some premium options priced differently. Has nice Japanese style seating , but wouldn't recommend for a date. Usually families and groups of friends at this place. Not exceptional food thus four stars! But very decent for the choices around south ken.
H. V.
Food is great. Staff the other day were SO rude and grumpy, obviously hating their lives that day! It was a BAD vibe. We left super quickly cos it ruined the meal. Everyone seems very concerned with everything else other than serving their customers. It's weird. The Malaysian guy downstairs is friendly though. If they get a bit more service oriented you'd actually want to go with a group and enjoy a meal. For now I stick to solo or with one other person so it's not too much of a catastrophe. When they're taking your order they're not evening listening to you, then get annoyed when THEY bring the order wrong and you flag it. Get better staff that should be dealing with your clients!
G. D.
Great Japanese restaurant. Came a few times for lunch & dinner and was always happy with food & service. Sushi selection is great, same goes for their ramen options. The menu is extensive and there is plenty of choice for everyone including vegetarians. The restaurant is small, intimate but perfect for both couples and groups. Highly recommend!
A.
Japanese dining at its most accessible. The extensive menu will enable even picky eaters to find something they like! My recommendation- the crunchy spicy tuna temaki roll.
It wasn't service with a smile, but an enjoyable experience nonetheless.
X. X.
Generally good service, polite staff and a satisfying environment. The food was surprisingly good however some cuisine are becoming gradually more salty. Overall a good place to go after work.
T. S.
This is now our favourite Japanese in London! Great sized portions, amazing authentic cooking, and the best ramen in town! Staff are very attentive, atmosphere is great. Sometimes good to book in advance especially at the weekend as it gets busy!
j. c.
Such amazing food and service! Shout to Joe! Great host! The seafood ramen & Gyoza was 10/10
V. F.
food was good, This restaurant can have bad days with regard to service, today was a good day.
I. U.
Fantastic food. Wonderful setting and service. Will definitely return again. Can't praise this place enough
z. m.
Ordered the ramen noodles which were delicious. Sampled some of the sushi from my friends plate - was good but not excellent. The man at the door told us we would only have the table for an hour then they would need us to leave - apparently they don’t like people to linger because they like to have customers in and out quickly to make room for more customers which I felt was a bit rude.
D. S.
Excellent food but disappointing service and seating.
Was at the restaurant this evening with my family and was immediately hit with an unwelcoming greeting from the waitress who seemed unimpressed with our arrival and lacked any kind of welcome such as taking coats or courtesies.
The seating arrangement is to mimic traditional japanese restaurants but is quite difficult for older patrons or people with knee injuries or immobility. This is important to be aware of.
The food was all excellent from the noodles to the sushi and unfortunately on the day that we visited, the deserts were not available apart from one.
The young male waiter we had was very good but failed on a few basics such as offering us the menu for desert once the mains were cleared away.
Instead another older waiter rudely dumped the bill on our table as if to usher us to leave.
Incredibly rude and really tainted the good food. The staff have not adopted the japanese care for service and treatment of guests.
M. J.
If your looking for good food this is your place! It tastes fresh and is obviously prepared with attention and care.
But the service can be lacking, forgetting items during peak times while also feeling somewhat rushed along with your meal. Especially if you order a few different things as they all come at once filling your table and making it a little uncomfortable to eat, it’s as if they’d rather turn over tables then give a good service... its a shame.
S. P. L.
Love this little restaurant. Intimate nice atmosphere. Delicious simple food. Great value for money and Mediterranean salads are particularly colourful and fresh. Been there twice and love the food. This is the kind of restaurant you can go again and again after a long day's work to help you wind down. Seafood dishes are my favourites.
P. H.
Good Japanese food at a reasonable price.
M. A.
If you want to have a Tokyo expirience in London, then try Dozo!!! The sushi and food is the closest I've tried to real Japanese food in Japan.
I. W.
Delicious but compared to Shoryu where they offer extra seasoning, garlic and else, Shoryo is a bit better.
O. Y. (.
Cozy and very Japanese-themed for a shop in London. Food is served quick and comes with tea. Service is friendly and fluent in English, Japanese and Chinese. It is a bit pricey due to being Japanese cuisine, and the best deals come from lunch sets with a wide selection to choose from. Other regular dishes are of high standard too, ranging from sashimi, grilled meat, Bentos rice boxes, ramen and such.
There are normal seats and elevated seat boxes to choose from to its design, but the lower floor may not feel very comfortable as it is rather dimly lit in cubicles. Other than that, highly recommend for good Japanese food.
S. M.
Food was incredible and service was amazing! Prices reasonable too... Would definitely recommend
L. W.
I love eating here, I always get the salmon don because unlike other restaurants it gives you fatty salmon with it. The staff are excellent every time I have gone and are very attentive. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant [it is the best out of the other Dozo sites] and the food has never failed.
M. S.
The food here is exceptional. I mean it really blows you away. The place itself however is so tired and the staff so rude it’s tragic. There is a real chef in there somewhere producing memorable dish after memorable dish.
유.
Another reliable spot for a range of Japanese food. Not run by Japanese people but their katsu is very good and the tantanmen they do tastes delicious. Other dishes I've tried are decent too. Must have been here about 10-15 times.
E. B.
Really nice food here. Little and quiet and out of the way which I like. The food is really good value for money I think, only reason not 5 stars as the couple of times I've been in I think the food, even though it's great, takes a bit too long.
N.
Food was very good quality and tasted great and waiter was friendly.
C. 1.
The Oyaku Don. Great price for the lunch menu which comes with miso soup and green tea. It’s hard at times to get a table, but if you manage the ambiance is cozy and friendly. There’s more seating downstairs. If you fit you and your friends the cave-like tables are fun for the experience.
E. K.
They have some good lunch deals but the food is either too salty or sweet depending on what you order. Unagi-don has very little Unagi with lots of rice. Sometimes the Unagi is dry too :( I wouldn’t recommend their sashimi don either.
What I really like though, are the dragon rolls.
They also have a lunch time discount, but I can’t particularly remember the times.
C. T.
Been there once, ordered a sashimi don, fresh salmon with perfect sushi rice and miso soup. Price is ok (tax +). Service could be better in this such "high class" Japanese restaurant. Worth to try but not going second time.
R. H.
Great spot for Japanese food and really enjoyed the Ramen. A little pricy but delicious
J.
Amazing Japanese Food! As they are very popular the staff does get very fussy if you arrive late or without the rest of your group. They won't sit you down if you say your partner is parking the car and will be 5 min. Teriyaki Chicken and their special sushis are out of this world.
K. L.
Dozo is a great little Japanese restaurant in South Kensington. It's open quite late for dinner service which is a definite bonus. The staff were helpful and friendly, and were very pleasant even though we sat down quite close to closing time. We never felt rushed or that we were unwelcome. The atmosphere and the decor is great! Tables are set low to the ground giving it an authentic feel. I don't have a lot of experience with Japanese cuisine, but this was great!
U. L.
I see mixed reviews of this place, however I can vouch for the consistent good service, and great food. Whether a quick bite, or a whole evening with friends, Dozo caters to all (and all dietary requirements). Really tasty starters and maybe the best rolls in London. Lovely sake and Japanese beers. Will always be one of my top along with Kiraku, Yashin.
d.
Good student lunch pricing, good rice dishes, good rolls, decent ramen. Can get quite busy at lunch so plan ahead. Cosy downstairs area with cute alcoves for groups.
T. E.
Always satisfied eating here and never tired
P. K.
A great Japanese restaurant. Their house tonkotsu ramen is always on point as are their bento and rice boxes. This is certainly a good place to visit and one of the best Asian food options around South Kensington (together with Jia).
A. T.
Great sushi, not sure about the table set up. Was happy with proper table on the right
A. H.
Insanely expensive! Almost expected to be given a plate of Wagyu after I saw my bill! I ordered the katsu curry, very large plate with lots of breaded meat. Would recommend this place for authentic Japanese food (and prices!)
M. B.
Food is simple good japanese. the issue here is the service as they act as if they don't really care about the customers. then again, it's ok for a casual lunch.
L. C.
Amazing food! We live near by and go at least once a week. Perfect Japanese for a casual night out. I recommend the aubergine, the volcano, drago and spider rolls and tuna tataki.
S. S.
It will be the best ramen food you will have ever tried. The staff are super friendly you get really good gyoza and sushi rolls. Recommend the spicy chicken ramen and volcano sushi roll
A. N.
Ramen is alright but maybe not their especiality, the seating setup is unusual and not ideal for old folks, the staff are attentive and polite though
P. K.
My new favourite place around South Ken and Chelsea areas. Amazing food. Friendly staff. Love the beef ramen. Can't compare to wagamama chain and Dozo much cheaper as well.
S. M.
Clean, great variety of places to eat and located close to the underground
G. R.
Standard quality sushi, limited selection for gluten free options.
Even though warned about gluten intolerance, non gluten free wasabi was served, with server risks for guests.
Decor is nice Music was too loud.
P. Y.
Spicy ramen was good.
K. X.
Sushi was good but the gyu don was tasteless. Nice waiter
H. P.
way average sushi place. i even prefer itsu to this. it didn’t help that the store was too warm on a hot summer day even though they seemed to have AC
D. C.
Small shop with decent quality Japanese food.
M. M.
Excellent! This place is a hidden gem, not exactly cheap but you are paying for quality! They do amazing value set lunches - like!
S. E.
Authentic japanese food with decently sized portions. The atmosphere is great but there is always a queue (totally worth it though)
M. S.
Some of the best sushi I've had in London in an unpretentious setting. Service was solid: friendly and attentive. (Only hiccup was the green tea mochi.)
E. C.
Really great sushi, lots of interesting options, so best to go with a group so you can share. The booths downstairs are the best place to sit. Usually busy so you may have to queue
H. C.
Food was decent, characteristic Japanese decor. A bit pricy for what it is. Have had better Japanese food in London for similar price.
M. M.
Lovely atmosphere, loved the seating and food was on point
J. P.
The ramen and curry were very good, the service not so much, they made an error and my food took 35 minutes to come out, my wife basically finished by the time I started.
J. P.
I think this place is quite famous for tourists. When I went there there were so many tourist. I ordered Chirashi-don and it was OK; probably it is not their specialty.
L. O.
Great Japanese food. Tasty well presented. Best in London and not too pricey. Good find!
C. C.
Great place for Japanese food that is of comparable quality to Japan. Creative rolls are worth trying, and the mochi ice cream is a must for ice cream lovers.
S. R.
Love this place. It is not a cheap place. But for the money you pay you will get great quality food. Lunchtimes can be busy , and you might have to wait a bit to get a seat . But it is worth the wait
L. M.
We didn’t have a reservation and they gave us a table right away. The service was quick. Was very disappointed that my ramen soup was made with ground pork.
D. D.
The ramen is cheap and great, the place is very elegant, and the sushi is delicious. Make sure you book first, otherwise you'll have to wait.
R. T.
The food is amazing and once you get seated it all flows nicely. Weird rule about being sat only when the whole party arrives but I kinda understand.
Y. J.
Food was good. But it is definitely over priced. The staff over there were not very friendly. They kept asking if we finish and then let us go.
A. B.
Great quality food and ok service. Good value for money and incredible attention to health and safety.
D. M.
recommend the signature Dozo Roll
A.
Great tradition Japanese restaurant
c.
Food was delicious, the Uni nigiri reminded me of the ones I ate in Hong Kong at high end Japanese restaurants and the service was fast and efficient. A definitive must in South Ken
G. H.
Great Japanese Restaurant with authentic Japanese food. Laid back atmosphere and attentive staff...do visit of you have the chance...
C.
The dozo rolls are tasty
K. K.
Amazing food and excellent service.
d.
Very nice place!
Wonderful food.
I would recommend the ramens and noodel soups rather than the sushi.
W. B.
Among the best Japanese joints in RBKC and in London. Gets crowded easily as is popular with locals. Reasonable prices.
A. C.
Decent japanese food for a relatively affordable price with the lunch deal (especially for the area) for about £10 per head.
B. K. W.
I thought, for the price, that both the service and the food were OK. I loved my cocktail but the food never seems to come at the same time and often the menu fails to accurately describe all the ingredients.
L. S. S.
Taste of the food was good but for some reason the price of sushi was significant more than rice and ramen dishes.
n.
Fantastic food. Vegetarian options available. Amazing eel sushi. Highly recommend
M. S. L.
Spectacular sushi. The volcano sushi blew my mind. Very nice service and Japanese style tables where you have your legs under the floor.
H. H.
Very nice lunch menus at affordable price level. Small portion though.
They also have excellent mackerel.
J. Y.
The food is not bad but the service is horrible. Waitress had to bump me because she doesn’t know how to say excuse me?
J. A.
Food was amazing but the price is alittle steep. Overall great restaurant.
E. K.
Amazing food. The salmon teriyaki with soft shell carb was too good. In the end do try their muchis
J. O. C.
Amazing little Japanese restaurant in Knightsbridge area. Ample menu including delicious soba, katsu, and very decent sushi. Great atmosphere and good service as well
T. S.
Great atmosphere, friendly and qualified staff. Delicious Japanse food. For the ambience, we recommend a table downstairs.
W. J. H.
Good for lunch especially if you have a budget below 10 pounds for lunch sets (food of your choice, miso soup and green tea).
A. H.
Great food - staff could be a bit more forthcoming, but good value for money overall. Will dine there again.
C.
Amazing place, vibe and food.
No need to say much just experience it yourself.
F. K.
Amazing place been going since it opened the sushi is one of the best in london try the volcano roll and chacha roll
S. M.
Very nice place for Japanese cuisine such as ramen and pork chop rice as well as they provide a bit of fusion dishes.
M. N. F.
Very Nice waiters
Food arrives very quickly
Not too expensive
Good Sushi
Nice atmosphere
D. H.
Best sushi ever. Little and cozy restaurant in London, where the food taste as good as it looks. And the food looked amazing, Highly recommend.
A. K.
Delicious Japanese food, very nice atmosphere. Imho, the soho branch is slightly better, but this one won't disappoint.
В.
Very good restaurant for Japanese food! But come early or otherwise it will be booked out.
E. P.
Not Japanese. Disinterested service and cuisine. You’re paying for prime Kensington real estate, not quality food.
M. G.
the food is good but the service is quite rude. I will still come back as quality price is good!
E. F.
very good sushi. but bear in mind it's crowdy always and table only for 1.5 hr I think
A.
Very nice food although pricey.
Service can feel rushed at peak times.
J. B.
Simply amazing food and great atmosphere. Service is on point and definitely a place I will go again A*
A. C.
Excellent food and service. The frozen matcha is very good. Top quality overall
F. M.
Good staff, great food and cute place! The rolls are amazing, a must have!
J.
Amazing food.
Reasonable price.

(Translated) Outside and inside the place was a bit cramped, the reception was a bit more rigid, but we managed the table without reservation. There was only 1 hour to eat but it was enough to taste 5 different portions, I would have liked to have dessert as well but could not mitään
The food was great and when the waiter needed it, it was readily available. I recommend restaurant ❤️🥂

Suosittelen ravintolaa ❤️🥂

(Translated) The clerk can speak Cantonese and the service is thoughtful. The shop is near Kensington station, but it is a little bit away from the surrounding museums. The taste of the dishes is acceptable. I ate a volcano roll recommended by the blogger. It is not very amazing. The beef hot pot is mediocre and the price/performance ratio is not high.

店员会说粤语,服务也算周道,店铺在Kensington station附近,但离周围的几个博物馆都有点距离。菜品味道尚可,吃了一个博主推荐的volcano roll,不算十分惊艳,牛肉火锅点平平无奇,性价比不高。

(Translated) I came here with my friends to find a place to eat casually. The three of them didn't wait for lunch on Sunday. It may be because the school is closed.
I ordered pork curry and it tasted delicious. The fried pork was very generous, as well as sour radish and miso soup. I tried my friend's spicy ramen, so I can order ramen next time.
10% off with student ID when paying in cash.

(Translated) A Japanese restaurant that I often visit, the environment in the store is very good, but the multi-person box is more crowded.
Sushi and ramen are amazing, and I have had a good time in the Japanese restaurants I have been to.
The staple food is a minefield and is not recommended.
The grilled dishes are very good.

(Translated) Food of very good quality but a little expensive for what is sometimes given in the plate. The service was very average, the customer is supposed to be king and yet as soon as we had consumed, the waiters made us understand that we had to leave.
(Original)
