Reviews of Eataly London

Great place, the food fantastic at the prices for most of their products is very good. Alba was our waitress and she was super helpful, friendly and professional. She helped my mum to choose her pasta and to pair it with a red that she loved. Love it
J. R.
Absolutely fantastic place, I visited here whilst visiting a friend who lives nearby and was amazed at the selection of authentic Italian food on sale. The freshly made pizzas were also amazing, and I'm counting down the days until I can come back!
V. N.
Lovely place to enjoy the finest Italian food! Great variety!
The shop is a bit pricey but the restaurant on the second floor offers great prices for the most delicious Italian dishes in London.
R. C.
Huge Italian food paradise where you can find food to buy and 3 restaurants to have lunch or dinner. We went to the biggest restaurant in the 1st floor, the food quality was between enough and good, normal plates and tasty food. The prices where too much for what it is 18£-20£ for a normal pasta plate. The service was good and they have some covid rules in place. To be honest I will come back just for the shop never again to a restaurant there as I felt a bit cheated. Go with friends!

Very big, clean and organised place for Italian grocery shopping with good quality and different options. Really enjoying shopping there. Eat in food options are average.

I already came here multiple times, either to get dinner and just to grab a cup of coffee.
Since it's next to the station, it's so easy to pop in and enjoy the brand-new place.
The pizza a had was decent, and I often get a coffee or occasionally cakes at the cafe on the ground floor and they are good too.
Cafe seats could be improved, as it's a bit overcrowded and I barely see the seats upstairs are open.
Price-wise, overall everything is a bit overpriced though, that takes one star off!
L. Z.
We came to Cucina del Mercato because we like the fresh selection from the counter. I especially enjoy the homemade bread and mozzarella selection. The steak is good but lacks some flavor as it’s not grilled. Also I’d appreciate if the waiter had warned us that we ordered too much. The small table barely fit them all and we could not finish all the food.
R. W.
Went in for a late breakfast. Great coffee and the chocolate filled croissant was excellent. Crisp on the outside, soft in the middle with a rich chocolatey filling. Well worth turning right out of Liverpool Street station.

I found this place last week! Love. love. Love.
Best hot chocolate!! We sat in there for hours, foods amazing! Cocktails were gorgeous too.
I can't wait to go back.

Some of the most sensational Italian food! Buzzing atmosphere and a HUGE italian supermarket to hit up afterwards! We dined in the Pasta & Pizza restaurant and the range of food is amazing. The trio of Frittas to start was such a great selection. Past was cooked to perfection and the flavours of the dishes were just off the chart! Tiramisu was 💯! Don't let its size out you off, it really delivers the goods!

One of the best Italian places I have been.

This is truly an Italian food heaven. The food is authentic, well cooked, brings you right back to Italy. I have eaten at Terra (meat) and Cucina del Mercato (seafood), both highly recommended. Service is first class.
Afterwards, stroll around the market, gape at the produce on offer, or build your own cannoli.

Today I had a lunch with my friend at Pasta e Pizza.. great food and lovely atmosphere! Davide made our experience really special! He has delivered a great service being very professional and bubbly at the same time! Definitely can’t wait to try their new restaurant Terra suggested by him!!!

Nice place to eat, outside terrace very accommodating, although they wanted to close it because of the rain they let us eat outside. Great staff. Pizza different, blue cheese on it was amazing, I now need this on every pizza 🍕 😋 The shop was phenomenal 👍

Very excited to see its opening in London. Had plenty of positive experiences in their NYC stores. The selections are huge, expectedly. However, it probably is not somewhere for a day-to-day shop. Desserts were absolutely amazing and there are plenty of seatings in the store! If there is something that can be improved, I guess it would be to include more seafood options in the grab and go food sections - I have had some amazing seafood salad from the shop in NYC Flatiron that I’m missing a lot.

All you need for anything Italian. Food, wine, cheese, delicious and a restaurant to boot. Awesome

Very cool concept if you like your Italian food! Lots of different options to suite your needs! Good if you fancy a quick bite and also good if you fancy a fancy meal! Good for couples and friends and conveniently located right next to the tube station

This is a great place for eating Italian food and buying authentic Italian groceries for cooking. Eataly is right next to Liverpool Street station. It consists of 2 floors, has 3 big restaurants that serve delicious pasta, pizza and other Italian delicacies. It also has a departmental store like section that includes authentic Italian sweets, bakery items, chocolates, pasta, sauces, meat and wines. There is also a food court section which serves similar food as compared to the restaurants. I only wish the place was slightly bigger, but other than that it is a great spot for some authentic Italian food!!
S. B.
Great place! Great selection of upmarket Italian goods, a nice selections of fresh seasonal produce along as reasonably priced fresh food- (thick pizza £7)! The place was very clean, with efficient staff along with Instagramable decor! It felt like an Italian whole foods- will be revisiting

Wonderful place, just outside Liverpool Street Station! 3 restaurants, 2 floors, takeaway home-made pizzas, fresh pasta... lovely staff.
Large choice of food to buy such wines, sauces, pasta, cheese, bread and much more!!! Definitely a place to visit again!!!

Nice selection of food and drinks items to purchase here. Spanning three floors. Along with dining options. The focaccia bread is delicious. There's also creatively coloured pasta. That will make for impressive looking meals. If you want wine this is the place for it, as there are loads of options.

Great experience with my Italian friend today...food is amazing and Rose prosecco is divine. Serving great cocktails too. Staff were caring and well trained. Can't wait to go back. Got some great shopping done after lunch to take home. A real treat.
C.
I came here today after working so close to this new food court but never found the time to come! I came here to have lunch by myself but it wasn't a problem at all with the amazing atmosphere here. Customer service was very pleasant but the main thing, if you enjoy truffles like me. This is the place to get the most delicious truffle pasta! Cooked fresh by happy and joyful chefs I recommend sitting at the kitchen bar tables.
S.
Food was amazing. The restaurant is located right near the station, and there are a lot of tables.
However, the music in the restaurant was too loud, so the restaurant might not suit baby.
J. C.
From Italy, now in the centre of London Eataly a fantasia of Italian culinary excellence has landed like a alien space ship. You could spend most of the day wandering around this titanic food department store and then dine in one of its casual eating areas. A real treat for all lovers of Italian cuisine and ambience.
G. M.
Can't recommend this place enough! If you love Italy and Italian food then this is the place for you. It has an authentic feel to it and all of the staff are Italian speaking too which is a nice touch.
There are cafes, restaurants, take away food and a small market to buy lots of different Italian cuisine. They have a vast array of meats and cheese to choose from too.
We ate at 'Pasta e Pizza' and thoroughly enjoyed the food. It tasted very fresh and the service was quick too.
A. B.
Guys!
Today I had a great pizza slice. It was vibrant and fresh. I got the one with zucchini mousse so when I tried it it the base was a bit soggy.
I went to the counter to swap it and the girl took the pizza I had eaten, put it in the oven, warmed it up and gave it back to me.
The same oven they heat every customer’s pizza.
J. T. C.
What a great place to live and eat Italy’s culinary culture. Highlight for the daily production of fresh types of mozzarella and burrata. The cold meat and cheese counter on the first floor is a must. Avoid the pizzas to go and the bakery, prices are way to high for what’s been offered. The restaurants have a nice food quality, but once again I was expecting more fair prices for the pastas and pizzas based on my experiences in Rome’s, Milan’s and NY’s Eataly. Don’t miss the nice fresh pasta to go counter and also some amazing dry pasta from Gragnano to cook at home.
C. C.
The food was really tasty and the portion sizes were good! The pizza sauce was incredibly tasty and the dough was very soft, and the carbonara pasta had a lovely intense flavour. Would definitely go there again!
N. S.
One of the must visit places in Central, nearest station would be Liverpool street. Loved the collection of Italian products. This places has multiple restaurants, 2000+ brands of Italian wines and best Italian products in their store. Loved my experience here.
B. D.
Super cool place to visit. Delicious food in the restaurant and beautiful shopping. If you can, sit at the kitchen counter as watching the preparation is amazing! Makes it a whole immersive experience. Would definitely visit again for one of their events as the Prosecco weekend looked awesome!

We were waiting for Eataly to open in London since 2015, and they didn't disappoint. The Enoteca is wonderful but you can also find pizza made fresh, bread made fresh, mozzarella and pasta. Amazing space, incredible food, usual Italian friendly team and passion for food ❤️.
*Update: we also tried Terra restaurant and it was amazing 🔝
B. G.
The best place if you love Italian products.
I went with a group of friends for dinner at the Pizza and Pasta restaurant on the first floor.
The prices were a little expensive. The food tasted nice, however the service was bad. Unfortunately our waitress started to take the plates whilst some of us where still eating. It was like she was trying to force us off the table.
N.
How can you not love this spot! Absolutely delicious Italian produce and food, conveniently located right next to Liverpool Street Station. It opens super early, it's perfect to go for a quick coffee or breakfast before the crowd comes in at lunch time. The place is huge, and like most other Eatalys, has everything you can possibly need. Great addition to London!
A. S.
Good food and good atmosphere, although I do feel the wine was overpriced. Also, not that it’s a huge amount, you have to pay £1 for tap water which I think is ridiculous on principle.
F. F. K.
Groceries and good restaurants, had dinner with my nephews at the Terra restaurants , good service and yummylicious. To add , we had a good table , in front of the kitchen and we could hear “Yes, chef” .. here to the chef 👨🍳; Yes Chef . Great 👍 food . Thanks
J. W.
A great place to meet friends & family for the best taste of Italy
Wasn't overly expensive for that part of town & some amazing food & produce to take home but was slightly disappointed by the disability access
v. g.
Nice and warm authentic Italian shopping centre. Lots of good Italian's food and grocery accessible to everyone. However, quality and availability mean also slightly higher price compared to other places. Overall great experience, highly recommended.
K.
Terrific food at La Terrazza. But it’s more like a bar, not a restaurant (and you’re paying restaurant prices).
The salumi board was great, the truffle pasta amazing and the cacio e pepe pretty good too. The one miss was the tiramisu; the biscuits in the tiramisu were like a very dry, hard cake.
I can imagine it’s excellent in summer, but outside is getting a bit cold now and the atmosphere isn’t great. There was a group of shrieking, drunk young girls behind us who started screaming when they saw a rat. The waitstaff were giving them another round of alcohol as we left…
Overall 3.5*. During winter, would try Pizza e Pasta upstairs instead. Same prices, a bit more restaurant-like, and fewer drunk patrons!
C. V. D.
The atmosphere and the food here at the pasta bar was delicious! I got to sit in front of the pasta chefs and watch them cook. It was such a cool experience and enhanced the meal greatly.
T.
Checked out Pizza e Pasta at Eatily
Oh my days the place was hyped for a reason! Food was delicious and all the ingredients they used, you can buy there!
Staff were attentive and very welcoming
Definitely recommend going there
Breadception (bread in bread)
Fried pizza
Diavola pizza
Nduja Burrata pizza

If love food. If you love Italian. If you love watching the world go by, visiting Eataly needs to be on your list of places to go in London.
B.
Exciting place to visit selling authentic Italian products and fresh produce.
Coffee shop and restaurants serving delicious food. Spent a few hours eating and enjoying the atmosphere.
E. b.
Wow what a dream! All sorts of Italian food, pasta, sweets...they have a restaurant upstairs and an aperol bar outside. The place is so big and you can literally find anything. I have to say it is very overpriced but everything is top quality.
I bought some truffle pasta and sauce and it came up to £14.50
A. M.
Lovelies italian market and got bunch of italian things that you need. Good fresh pasta and pizza served here very worth it to go. Can be quite expensive though the stuff but would be coming back in need of italian stuff and to eat. Recommended to come if you are around here.
A. B.
Absolutely heaven of a place, high quality Italian produce, amazing olive oils, truffle, cheese! Loads of food places for Italian food too, different style, prices and types of food. Tried a few of them and they were all great. If I could I would shop there for everything.
T. C.
Had an enjoyable meal at Cucina del Mercator. Also got a gelato at the ground floor after dinner and it was delicious.
V. M. R.
The place itself is nice and has a variety of products you can buy but they are overpriced. The pizzas and pasta from the market on the ground floor are nice but i ate better somewhere else and they don’t justify the price. I had cakes but i was disappointed as the taste it was not what i was expecting and again overpriced.
A. M.
Fresh produce from the market to the table. Friendliest and professional staff. Delicious. I recommend the bread, the oysters, the seafood pastas, the gorgonzola. We loved it.
C. V.
I love this place. The shop offers a wide range of high quality Italian products, even though a bit expensive. I dined at Pasta e Pizza and the pizza was absolutely amazing...the dough is leavened for around 50 hours in total! Definitely a real Italian pizza.
S. H.
What a great venue for Italian produce. Incredibly busy and very stylish. Unfortunately could not get to eat anywhere in the building during our 3pm visit on a Sunday afternoon, so weekend booking of seats is advisable.
J. H.
INCREDIBLE!!!! We ate at pizza e pasta and it was delicious. The market was amazing too. I took home fresh bread, cheeses, cured meats and some dried pasta.
E. J.
Absolutely loved Eataly, I was blown away as soon as I came out of Liverpool Street station and you couldn't fail to miss it, I was expecting something much much much smaller. As we entered on the corner we were greeted with illy coffee counter, gelato and desserts. We certainly didn't expect it to be a whole department store dedicated to Italian cuisine, we went upstairs to explore before committing to any of the desserts.
We were greeted with the largest selection of Italian wines all regionally displayed so easy to locate the wine you require. (think British library, but for Italian wines Epic.) then we came to one of the many restaurant. It is due to open very very soon, beautiful and very stylish. Next we came to the snacks, the dried pasta, the olive oils, the butchery department, think there was a fishmongers too, but I might be mistaken. The green grocery section, dairy etc, 2 more restaurants one which was purely pizza and pasta and the one we chose towards the back. We were not disappointed we chose a sharing board of meats and cheeses, selection of breads, chips and a beautiful bottle of wine. Heading back down stairs we came to fresh pasta and beautiful breads counters before finding a beautiful Instagram worthy tunnel of light and sweet things, panatone, chocolates, biscuits etc leading us back to the dessert and coffee counter we found when we first came In, we bought 3 of the little desserts and had coffee and finished up a great few hours in what is now my favourite department store ever, it really is La dolce vita.
T. U.
I I recently discovered this place and it's amazing. And it's massive venue with different restruants and shops all in one venue . And it's literally just outside Liverpool Street.
Good food, good drinks and sells authentic Italian food .
V. K.
Good quality of deli products. Ridiculously expensive! A small vase of capers in extra virgin olive oil @£9.20? Why? Lots of the produce can be found at many local Italian deli stores at much more reasonable prices. More of a tourist attraction than something special. Good for a visit.
E. D.
Food was honestly incredible and staff were lovely!
The only negative I would have is that it’s quite hard to navigate both the website (wasn’t sure which area to book for dine in food) and also when we arrived we struggled to find the right place to go - wasn’t clear to us where we should go.
Also - we were recommended the large pasta to share between two - you could definitely share this between 3 or 4 in reality! But the individual pasta was quite a bit smaller so it was hard to gauge portions.
L. S.
A must-go-to italian food hub. Prime products on the first floor and lots of fresh food in the ground floor. Also, just to note the staff in the toilets are very attentive, well done for the service.
D. C.
Expensive but it’s soo pretty! Whole foods basically but Italian. The patisserie tasted soo good. Fresh bread and pizza being made in front of you😍 and a fresh mozzarella bar!
M. M.
Great selection of products. Perfect place if you want to make your dinner extra special. The prices are quite high though. Also tried the pasta restaurant and was not wowed, it was not worth the price (pasta with some aperol and shared dessert was around £45)
S. Y.
A spectacular place. It is more like a mini food court/supermarket. Everything is beautifully presented. The supermarket section upstairs is a delight to explore ,with lots of unusual items.
The cafe part in the corner closest to Liverpool Street stn has got a lovely ambience. Excellent coffee and a tantalising selection of pastries and cakes.

Ferrero & Tiramisu from 📍 @eatalylondon
Score: 8/10 ⭐️
Thoughts 💭
YUM, YUM & YUM 😍 ok so the tiramisu is one of the best I have ever had. It was more cakey, which in my opinion made it perfect.
The ferrero, now this was seriously something special. Every bite was a slice of heaven.
Update:
Croissant was a bit too buttery for my taste buds.

Terra restaurant review
Since its open I’ve (reluctantly) become a regular >_< This gigantic food hall is magnetic!
The Terra restaurant & bar just opened at the end of October and its wine selection has already caught a few alcoholic’s attention I believe. With a library of Italian wine nearby, Terra’s unique selling point, for me, should absolutely be its drink menu.
But the food here is also beyond my expectation. I took my little sis there on Sunday for lunch, and I think it’s worth putting down a brief review:
Ambience: 9/10
It is designed to be a higher-end place than Cucina di Mercato restaurant (the one near the fishmonger counter), and it does display the sense of casual sophistication fairly well: wooden tables, cedar-green soft chairs, hanging plants and floor-to-ceiling windows are elements that immediately please diners. Music choice could’ve been made better (something like Stefano Bollani or Music Nuda).
Service: 10/10
Google/Tripadvisor reviews are pretty polarised - so I’m going to give my verdict based on my experience: I go to this place about 4-5 times a week for drinks and groceries (some regional pasta such as croxetti and fileja can be found here, great quality and cheap to buy), so I guess as a regular a few staff recognise me and treat me well. In fact most of them are friendly, chatty and very good at listening.
Food: 9/10
The lamb and octopus - 10/10. This is arguably one of the best grilled dishes I’ve had in the UK. The quality of the raw ingredients are superb(as you can taste), which guarantees crispiness outside and tenderness inside, and the seasoning is spot-on: just the right amount of salt is enough to bring the best out of a properly grilled meat.
The duck breast and fig relish - 9/10
The combination is interesting and does work well - but it would be more pleasant if the portion could be bigger. To be honest, I wouldn’t mind paying a few more quids for a main duck dish of similar taste. I usually pair duck with plums but figs prove to be a suitable alternative too.
The pumpkin ravioli - 9/10
It is a good plate of pumpkin ravioli and does all the details correctly, and the portion is generous too. Perhaps I’m expecting a bit more - a bit of surprise and creativity I guess. It would be good enough for a pasta bar but it needs to be slightly beyond basic.
The wine - ∞
The Infinity symbol is the only thing in my head - I’m already delighted by reading the menu. I’ve tried a few glasses and bottles here and the menu describes their things accurately: all the scents and tasting notes in the description will finally be on your tongue, not a single one missing.
Anything else?
Some cheese from the market place are really good, for example erborinato allo zafferano (blue-vined cheese with saffron) - it would be lovely to see it on the restaurant menu.
J. C.
Pizza e Pasta in Eataly was of the best Italian dining experiences I had in London! Everything was great, from the Prosecco to the pizza! The pasta was so fresh and smelled sooo good (tartufo taglioni) and good-quality Parma ham on the pizza really went a long way to making it one of the best pizzas I’ve had in London - and that’s saying something. It was almost too hard to choose the dessert but in the end we ordered different ones so I could sample most of them and I can tell you they’re all great 😊
R. S.
I was excited to visit Eataly, I'd put it off for ages. I don't venture to Liverpool street too often.
We were finally in the area yesterday so thought we'd give it a try.
We ordered from the marketplace, rather than the restaurants.
Our order was:
* 2 pieces of pizza
* 1 bowl of pasta
* 2 glasses of wine
* 1 slice of tiramisu
Cost = £50
Pizza = was okay, we're vegetarian, so they have a few options, but the Margherita was the better of the two we had
Pasta = delicious, but a bit small
Wine = delicious
Tiramisu = average
Overall the experience was okay, but for the cost, I wouldn't be rushing back.

A must visit when in London.
Huge place with so many different stations to attend and see (and show from).
The ambience in the whole building is extraordinary and definitely worth spending sometime to get to see all of it.
Of course food was very tasty and staff were very kind.
G. A.
Very nice ambiance and there are different restaurants and cafes. Burrata and fresh pasta were delicious.
P. S.
Eataly is a must visit destination for all things Italian on the food front. Fabulous restaurants and eateries with a fantastic range of authentic Italian foods to buy all in one building next to Liverpool Street station.
C. T.
After going to Eataly I now fully understand the buzz,
make sure to book a place if you want to avoid any fuzz.
You’ll enjoy it but if you don’t go I don’t think is a big loss,
It’s packed with people so breathe and be patient to avoid getting cross.
Yes, ingredients are fresh and diverse,
but anything you get will hit hard the purse,
it’s both a blessing and a curse,
because you can also get good content for your social media and the meta verse.
Service and staff were okay, just fine,
nothing super special like for a fancy dine.
This place is more for a casual ice cream or a glass of wine,
but that’s only a recommendation of mine.
L. J.
A wonderful place. Very clean and orderly. Great range and amazing pasta and pizza. Georgio Gattuso served us with greatness!
D. S.
Eataly was really good, just a shame the restaurants inside were 'fully booked' despite there being loads of empty tables.. thought they were supposed to keep some for walk ins. Wasn't expecting it to be so formal. Managed to get a table outside, food was really nice. Needed more staff in grocery sections to help advise on products as there's soooo much to choose from. We'll definitely be back though, the deli/cheese/butcher counters were phenomenal.
V.
Overall: Great place to get Authentic Italian produce. Yes, it’s a little pricey but buy quality and not quantity.
This review is for Pasta e Pizza.
Been wanting to eat in one of the many restaurants for some time now. The whole place has a nice atmosphere and was very busy throughout the whole evening.
Starters: We had the TRIS DI FRITT. POLPETTE DI MELANZANE and SUPPLÌ AL TELEFONO were enjoyable, the pizza fitta less so. Octopus & potato salad was also really delicious.
Mains: Both Pizza and pastas were amazing! I went for the Carbonara which was well done and a good size portion. RAVIOLO RICOTTA, FUNGHI E TARTUFO was also delicious.
Service wasn’t amazing, but we were a large group of 8, so were a little a slow with our ordering so I get that. They ran out of the wine we liked, but instead upgraded us for the same price which was a nice gesture.
Overall – good food and a nice evening. I’d go back and recommend.
S. C.
Delicious authentic Italian food at a high yet reasonable price.
The eating side of things is amazing with great service and fantastic food, if a little pricey as they seem to be using top end ingredients from...
The shop floor is filled to the brim with Italian foodstuffs, and includes a mozzarella counter, a meat, deli meat and cheese counter, a fish counter, and truly expensive AF organic fruit (with a slice of watermelon priced just under £7.50). Having tried a few of the deli meats o can attest they are worth the extra price, can't tell you if that watermelon is worth it though!!
J. J.
Very nice and fresh selection of fish and good wine! Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a great dinner, this place is worth to visit! 👌✌🦐🦑🍴🥂🍷
L. H.
Great place for a day or evening out and location is perfect, right next to Liverpool Street Station. Love the fact that everything is under one roof....eating, drinking, shopping and learning. Wonderful atmosphere and pleasant friendly staff.
K. Y.
Vast selection of Italian fresh and longer lasting perishables. Always packed whenever I've had a chance to browse but overall a great shopping experience if you don't mind the crowds. Goods appear to be priced at a premium given the convenience and location.
B.
Eataly is a great place to buy Italian food to go and a great place to eat.
Starting with the latter, the menu is nice. The special pizza that I took was great, not the kind of pizza I ever had yet exquisite.
The bolognese pasta were not so good on the other hand. The meat was tasteless and neither of us enjoyed it.
Service was alright.
The shoping experience is great.
The staff was really helpful and went out of their way to help me find what I was looking for.
The cheese, cured meat and every product we baught were very good and at a reasonable price for central London.
Overal, I'd go back to do my shopping. For dining Italian food, I'd go a bit further to Shoreditch.

Eataly is really a great place to visit for your Italian cravings.
It is nicely laid out over 2 floors. When I went, most of the sit-down restaurants were packed (always a good sign), especially since there are many good places to eat in the Liverpool Street area.
Upstairs, had a very large selection of fresh produce, products and alcohol. There are also 3 restaurants, which I advise you should book in advance if you want to go.
I was craving some ice-cream, but it was slightly hard to find if you enter through the street entrance (go left, past the sweets section) rather than the corner entrance, where the ice cream parlour is actually located at the Caffè Bar. The gelato and sorbet was a good way to cool down from the hot weather. Make sure you get extra tissues as it is quite messy as they are generous with their scoops!!
T. A.
Only ate at the cafe but very large place, beautifully designed but definitely pricey. The quality of the coffee was terrible and not what I was expecting considering the grandeur of the place however the gelato definitely made up for it. The pistachio and hazelnut gelato was divine and humongous for the price point. Would go back just for that!
E.
Huge Italian place - caffetteria, gelateria, groceries, restaurants, all in one. Staff is very professional, food is fresh and tasty. Delicious pizzas👍
S. W.
Went to the pasta and pizza restaurant in Eataly and it was delicious! Eataly stocks excellent Italian food and is reflected in the quality of the restaurant too. A definite must try! Truffle pasta being my favourite.
C. H.
Giorgio provided a very friendly and knowledgeable service this evening, he even suggested a special pizza which wasn’t on the menu that was really nice as a vegan option. 11/10 would recommend

An amazing bit of Italy in London. A lot of great stuff and choices of groceries. Don’t think I can find most of the stuff anywhere else in London, very handy to have it all in one place. Great little cafe and restaurants with authentic Italian food.
L. D.
It looks amazing. I have not had food in any of the restaurants there, though. They also have an aperol spritz terrace for aperitifs.
A. J.
5 star ingredients, but 3 star execution in the restaurant - perhaps an off day but wouldn't return. Mozzarella starter was lacking flavour in 2/3 of the dishes.
Truffle pasta sauce under seasoned and a bit watery, carbonara was like trying to drink an entire liquified block of parmesan it was far too salty, pizza sauce lacked any sort of flavour (dough was devine though) - shame because bought ngredients in the shop and they are phenomenal so don't know what went wrong in the kitchen.
K. B.
The shop is absolutely amazing. It's like you're visiting Italy but in central London. It's stunning. However, the restaurants and especially Pizza and Pasta restaurant are not up to scratch. They do not live up to the great surroundings. I had the Carbonara and I'll go as far as to say that it wasn't good at all. It had such a strong cheese flavour that it almost made me sick. I couldn't finish the portion. The staff are lovely, just the food isn't great. I'd go back to the shop on a heartbeat, but I will be avoiding the restaurant next time.
H. T.
Fantastic place authentic Italian food got myself some Italian coffee, pasta and pesto. You are spoilt for chose with quality produced. Its not cheep but its worth it.
K. M.
Great food and service. We was recommended the pumpkin risotto and squid ink pasta by marinela. She made a great choice and I was really please with her menu knowledge and level of service I received. Definitely somewhere to dine!
K. L.
Incredible venue, lots of great food and drink but unfortunately relatively expensive. I still think that any Italian would feel like in heaven, so it is must go for all UK based italians. I felt a bit like walking around a museum or a gallery with all those items displays and in general the indoor being a piece of art. There is even a restaurant inside! I haven't tried the food nor drink but I am sure they will be of good quality and taste just expensive 😉. Make sure you also pay a visit to the winery on the first floor. It is simply beautiful!
C. S.
Lunch in the market kitchen was a delight today. Generous portions of Prosciutto, Italian cheeses & breads in a lovely bar/restaurant. We've been to Eataly in Bologna & FICO by Eataly, so knew what to expect. Only difference was that the London venue was extremely busy, the layout is not clear, and the restaurants (except market kitchen, luckily!) were full with large queues. Still, this is an excellent addition for all food fans!
K. M.
Eataly London has such a variety of quality produce and my group all found things that they were looking for. I went with friends and we ended the experience with a meal at Pasta e Pizza and we all loved the food.
P. V.
Fresh from the market, the octopus and the sea bass carpaccio were my favourite👌oysters super and squid not chewy at all, on point ☝😌staff members are really nice and friendly 🥰
L. D.
Had a wander about the markets up stairs and down stairs. Good to see authentic food throughout.
Sat down to eat in one of the restaurants too, and food was incredible! Baby friendly too.
Had a great experience all over :)
C. Z.
The food and atmosphere was lovely. The waiter did mess up our meal and tried to play it off but, either way it just meant we had to wait later for our food to arrive.
K. M.
Huge place. Wide range of selection. Prices are high and quality ain't all that. I only used the cafe on the ground floor. Not sure about the restaurants upstairs.
S. L.
An all round decent experience.
Due to covid only outside seating, but there is a decent amount. We booked a table and had a cheese and ham platter, heritage carrots and bursts as seen in pics. The prices were reasonable for London.
Service was polite and friendly.
The.inside part has two levels.pastries,.pasta, bread being made on the ground floor. More of a super market upstairs and a ham and cheese.counter. Lots of amazing looking products but pretty pricey!
N. A.
One of a kind experience. Whatever food even remotely related to Italy you think of you’ll find there and with an extra edgy smart touch. I loved all the plates we ordered between the pasta, pizza and even the octopus salad starter . Went on my husband’s birthday and we truly indulged in this Italian rich dinner.
D. A.
Top quality staff and delicious, perfectly crafted food make this place a joy to eat in. The market sections are worthy of 6 stars and one could easily spend many hours staring in awe at the cheese counter, let alone the dried goods. (The missing star is due to the ludicrous wine price - but it's still worth going🙂)
A. T.
The restaurant in Eataly is amazing. This is the closest you can get to a real Italian pizza. Absolutely delicious 🍽👌
J. A.
A great selection of Italian food, pastries, chocolate and much more. A definite visit for a cup of coffee or a regular shop for pasta. Have tried their version of Swiss vermicelli, it's good, but cannot beat the original. Would like to see more gluten free options.
K. I.
Everything about Italy! Delicious gelato and food. Huge selection of groceries!
j. s.
Wow. What a find. Absolutely stunning Italian Market.
D. S.
Eataly was really good, just a shame the restaurants inside were 'fully booked' despite there being loads of empty tables.. thought they were supposed to keep some for walk ins. Wasn't expecting it to be so formal. Managed to get a table …
C. Z.
The food and atmosphere was lovely. The waiter did mess up our meal and tried to play it off but, either way it just meant we had to wait later for our food to arrive.

Very interesting and unique Emporium is how i would describe it. Restaurants inside and outside, cafes inside, bar inside, sweetshop inside and the biggest exclusively Italian foodshop on the 1st floor. Of course i bought some Italian products!!
K. M.
Great food and service. We was recommended the pumpkin risotto and squid ink pasta by marinela. She made a great choice and I was really please with her menu knowledge and level of service I received. Definitely somewhere to dine!

Loved this place so much to choice from. The pizza was delicious could spend a whole day here

Terrific food at La Terrazza. But it’s more like a bar, not a restaurant (and you’re paying restaurant prices). …

A must go!
Amazing food, great environment, and a little escape in the centre of London.
Bit on the pricier side, but you won't regret it. If nothing else, you need to pop in to grab yourself a delicious Gelato best in London, but that's just my opinion.
Recomend the ice cream and pasta dishes.
V. F.
How to ruin your bank account in one hour! Took two delicious Mozzarellas, foccacia and some fresh pasta. Amazing quality but is not cheap!

Stunning food, staff and location! The little Italian shops around the restaurants make the experience that much cooler! The manager Valentina at Pasta e Pizza was so accommodating and a pleasure to talk with ❤️🍕

This place is incredible, amazing choice of Italian food and wine and places to eat.
Recommend a visit.
J. V.
It is a MUST in London for Mediterranean people and everyone in general. Great variety of Italian products, variety of prices too and some good offers. Only thing to improve is the lack of space for trying the fresh pasta, not many tables.
The terrace is so beautiful and next time I'll try to get into any of the restaurants. They looked amazing too.
E. U.
Lovely high quality Italian food.
The pizza downstairs makes for a quick and delicious snack.
Loads of good produce, good wine and friendly staff
A. R.
So excited about the opening of Eataly!
It is a total cornucopia of the best of Italian food under one roof. The store includes (but not limited too) an onsite bakery, cheese making, butcher, fishmonger and greengrocer as well as multiple restaurants and bars.
The ground floor has many delicious takeaway items and sweet treats for those morning and lunchtime pick me ups.
It’s probably the most enticing thing that will bring people back to working in an office.
D. W.
What an amazing place! Great range of Italian food and drink. Fantastic restaurants and staff. Can't wait to go back.
K. N.
Eataly by Liverpool Street station is your one stop shop for all things Italian, especially if you are foodie.
On the ground floor is where you'll find the beautiful pattiserie, sweet gelatos, inviting cafes, a sweet shop and even a busy canteen offering freshly made pasta and delicious pizzas. Outside, there's the terrace where you can eat and drink too.
On the first floor you'll find a fine casual restaurant, an impressive wine cellar, the fishmonger, the butchers, the cheese bar and even a classroom for those discerning wine connoisseurs to learn all about fine Italian wine.
It's super upscale, like a Waitrose but better in every way and with authentic Italian produce everywhere you look. It's worth coming just to have a look around because it really is impressive, and a place to even place to eat in. It's fine restaurants upstairs is for the fancier type of meals while the canteen is great for those who wants things more causal. If Italian food is on the menu at home, you'll find everything you'll need and more here at Eataly.
J. T.
Amazing place to visit, shop Italian products and eat.
Great structure with a large variety of products.
R. J.
Amazing, vast, bustling marketplace of Italian food and drink with several places to eat next to Liverpool Street Station. The atmosphere is good with a huge selection of high-end products to browse. One star deducted because we queued for the Pizza Pasta restaurant, were allocated a 45 minute waiting time, they took my number but never called, and on returning after 45 minutes others were freely entering without waiting, whatever... but as we were being taken to our table, the maitre-dee called out as an afterthought that we could only have it for one hour... why?? Despite that we were tended by a typically wonderful, friendly, kind Italian man at the table and the food was delicious - the olives, tomatoes, herbs, oils, everything was super quality and plentiful. For the record we left with a minute to spare, only because we were quick, but the food delivery wasn't speedy enough to finish in an hour.
F. A.
Fantastic Italian food shop, wine bar, restaurant and coffee shop in beautiful complex.
We step off Liverpool Street station for a quick coffee and two hours took before we finished enjoying this place.
Endless wine selection, cheese, meat... Foodies heaven no doubt.
L. S.
All you need for anything Italian. Food, wine, cheese, delicious and a restaurant to boot. Awesome
F. G.
This is an absolute heaven place for people who wants to do all their Italian groceries in one massive market hall. Anything you can think of desserts, coffees, pizzas, pastas, cheese, chocolates, wine, salami, dairy products, fresh vegetables and fruits and all sorts of seasonings olive oil, sauces etc are all available here! Everything literally made in Italy. I am so looking forward to the new restaurant opening soon. This is definitely incredible to explore. Right next to Liverpool Street station. As it’s the first week opening, advise to come earlier when it opens or later few hours before it closes. Long queue during the day.

How to ruin your bank account in one hour! Took two delicious Mozzarellas, foccacia and some fresh pasta. Amazing quality but is not cheap!

Amazing pasta but you already knew that, that's why your looking. Stop stalling and go. Good to share. Ask staff for recommendations, it did not let us down!

Quite a fancy place to visit and dine in the restaurant. We sat by the open kitchen bar where we can watch how the food is prepared. Food is nice but feel a bit overpriced.
M.
Great new location for Eataly! Beautiful store with great selection of food, wine and desserts. It is definitely one of the best Eataly stores I’ve been to and looking forward to visiting the restaurant when they open for indoor dining. There are seats outdoors as well so you can dine in and enjoy the sun 👍🏼
Staff was really welcoming considering how busy it was so overall a great experience!
M.
On the expensive side but the pasta was phenomenal.
Would have liked for veggie options though.
Haven’t tried the restaurants, just the pizza and pasta stand.
T. G.
Great variety of Italian fresh and packaged food but slightly more expensive than smaller scale delis you can find throughout London. Definitely worth a visit to feel like you’re in Italy without leaving the country.
E. S. P.
Yes, yes, yes! 😍 I've been waiting for Eataly to open for a long time and I'm so excited to now have the opportunity to visit this place and fill my tote bags with luxury products made in Italy! 🇮🇹 Alongside fabulous food, the surroundings are incredibile! 🎆 I think pictures are definitely worth a thousand words here! Thanks for bringing me back home for a while!
W.
Great experience.
Fresh food , good choice , clean and very friendly environment. A real pleasure to do my grocery shopping in Eataly . Easy to navigate and to find the product I needed. Well Done .
A. S.
Great place to pick up good quality Italian ingridients. Amazing butcher, seafood, cheeses meats and wines! Great place and good prices. Lots of options to eat also as they have a few restaurants upstairs for dine in and some take away bar kind of places on ground floor, highly recommended for your Italian food fix!
R. K.
Huge shopping place and restaurants. Worthy to visit and explore it. I bought nice pistachio spread and truffle butter.
K. S.
A great trove of Italian ingredients and products. Some more expensive things are sold at cost price but a lot of cheaper products are marked up by a considerable amount! If you can shop and support local then please do but if you're in a pinch for some Italian sundries then it is quite sufficient when looking for authenticity.

Genuine Italian cuisine & drinks at Eataly, right next to Liverpool St Station, London
T. L.
We have eaten at the Eataly Chicago so were super excited when Eataly opened up in London. It's within walking distance so we have been a couple of times already. We've bought the handmade mozzarella, focaccia, sourdough bread, pizza, tiramisu and more. The quality is amazing everything tastes fresh and delicious. I can't wait for the restaurants to open. I wrote a feature for my blog so have lots of lovely pictures to share with you. If you visit I would avoid early morning because the bread, pizza and other food made on-site may not be ready. If you visit near lunch time you can experience more!
M. O.
Stunning food, staff and location! The little Italian shops around the restaurants make the experience that much cooler! The manager Valentina at Pasta e Pizza was so accommodating and a pleasure to talk with ❤️🍕

Love the ambiance! I love eataly in New York City and so excited to see one in London. We got a few cute snacks and they are super tasty! Price is also reasonable. Will be back for the food and drinks soon 😀
G. V. S.
Amazing food and service, good value too. Will definitely come back
R. C.
The only pointless which I decided to not to take, would be due to the distance - it is a little bit far, in special for their target. However, I must give 5 stars but these simple and wonderful things, first everything looks so fresh. Secondly, I never found a spot in London so far with a large variety of fresh gluten-free pastas, seriously they are unbeaten on it. Third, in terms of affordability and great labels of Italian wines, Eataly is the top 3, behind only for so specialised wine stores in London (one in Mayfair named Hedonism). Also, the cheeses options are really exciting. Eataly is a must visiting spot for eating and just spend some time at one pf their nice restaurants inside, to have for example a real Italian pizza (also not easily found in London), or preferably, for shopping premium Italian products.
M. I.
I like the variety of food and drink available with ample choice of wine selection. Also very popular the pizza and fish restaurant upstairs! Didn't manage to walk-in as it was a busy Saturday night so better to pre-book for a weekend dinner :)
M. J.
Fascinating mix of coffee house, bakery, restaurant and supermarket selling everything Italian. Some great value and unusual items. Ideally placed next to Liverpool Street station. Take a look before heading down the Underground!
C. M.
Amazing produce throughout the store, from the coffee and gelateria to the restaurant upstairs. A food lovers paradise.
E. C.
As a last minute decision, we ended up at the Terra’s bar for a late dinner. We both have been to Eataly in Chicago several years ago and hadn’t been too impressed. To our surprise, this meal was phenomenal and our server/bar tender was so kind with many thoughtful recommendations. We shared a bottle of red, split the Pane, the Burrata, the Cavolo, and the Ravioli de Zucca. Every single bite was delectable & the atmosphere was on point. We’d highly recommend the Cavolo especially.

Indoor dining experience at Cucina del Mercato 🍽
Let me start by congratulating the staff, after just two days of being open - we had an exceptional meal, with many recommendations from the well trained staff.
The location of the restaurant is right behind the fish and meat counter, allowing diners to pick their cuts from the counter.
Pricing is very reasonable, portions are fair and of course - amazing wine selection.
We’ll be back for a steak or two.

On my initial visit I gave the place 5 stars when I had just tried pizza slices on the ground floor. I have gone back to try the restaurant upstairs and the whole feeling of the place was a bit off so had to change my original review. On my second visit, I went upstairs as well and passed through the wine section and supermarket before going to cucina del mercato. The wine section seemed very well stocked however couldn't help feeling I was passing through an airport duty free. There is nothing that makes the place special from a decor point of view. All new and shiny but no care for details. The supermarket looked also well stocked but didn't get a chance to look through it properly. The cheeses fridge looked huge so I am sure there will be nice surprises in it for sure. At cucina del mercato food was ok but not outstanding which was a bit disappointing. Mozzarella were not super fresh (I get much better ones in other places in London) and coops wasn't nice and soft but it seemed a little bit on the stale side like it had been sliced a while back and left there. Steak was nice but yeah that's about it. The natoora shop (the veggies shop) it the most disappointing part of the shop. Basically just sold oranges, lemons, tomatoes and artichokes, none of it particularly fresh. In fact, most of it was border line unsellable for how not fresh it was. Prices remained stellar for few almost rotten zucchinis and other unimpressive veggies. Overall I will definitely go back for pizza by the slice and cakes in the central café but everything else in not worth the hype, that airport feeling does not leave you.
G. S.
I would love that say that the place is excellent, in fact the idea is great and food as well, except for the "Pizza alla pala" place that served us a completely burnt pizza on the bottom (see the picture). I am sure this is just an exception and hopefully this doesn't happen often but keep an eye on the bottom of your pizza and if it looks like the one in the picture, ask to have another one.
We have had pasta at the "Pasta fresca bar" and it was excellent. We have had drinks at the bar and also great. It's just a shame for the pizza

This place I amazing. We were looking for a place to have dessert after eating in another restaurant and we came across this place while walking to Liverpool Street station.
We had managed to get the last bit of ice cream which was delicious. I only wished they had more flavours.
I took home another dessert from their counter for my brother. He loved it and felt I had bought him a delicious treat. He did not share it with me!
We didn't get to explore the second floor but next time I go I will definitely try their fresh pasta.
E. U.
Lovely high quality Italian food.

I was really looking forward to finally visit Eataly. We ate lunch at The Market Kitchen, which was OK and service was friendly. The rest of the place was less than an enjoyable experience. Although a big place it is still limited on products for sale, especially anything fresh. Staff need to be slapped with a wet fish to wake up. Not one place we visited did we get a friendly face, not even acknowledged for being there, waited for ages to be served, so we just walked away. That was for the cheese counter, the fresh pasta counter, bread counter, sweet shop and adjourned coffee place. Maybe we got them ALL on a bad day. But as said, staff need to be 'awake' when at work. Disappointed, we won't go back.
G. F.
Visiting Eataly is always an amazing opportunity! The store offers a wide variety of food and wine from all over Italy. The restaurant/pizzeria is absolutely fantastic, with a quick and attentive service, and a great selection of starters, mains, pizza and desserts. Eataly is not the only place where you can have a truly Italian experience in London, but it's definitely one of the best! Absolutely recommended!
M. S.
Absolutely delicious food and the best service at Pizza and Pasta!! Was treated by my BFF for wonderful belated Birthday dinner. The place is massive with enormous selections of food and wine.
C. P.
It’s lovely to walk pass the food shop and the wine shop on the way to the restaurant. Food was good, affordable and tasty. On that evening (Tue 8/2 at 7pm) they ran out of 3 different menu items we wanted. We haven’t been told ahead of ordering meaning we were disappointed when placing the order and then had to quickly look for something else. Toilet weren’t clean. Service was friendly and attentive, our waitress was lovely. Very good value for money overall, will return.
H. v. M.
Great atmosphere, service and food. Like in Munich it is a place where you want to spend a lot of time & money ;-)
M. L.
Great vibe. Lots of fresh food and options for everyone.
G. J.
A wonderful store.
Lots of Italian food items to choose from over 2 floors.
Definitely will come back.
The restaurant looks inviting and the coffee bar is reasonably priced.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Thanks.
S. F.
Good Italian food and ingredients. Loved the experience and authentic Italian food.
It's slightly pricey, but yet wouldn't wouldn't complain, because the food was one of the best Italian I've had.
C.
My friends and I visited Eataly during the first opening week and we were amazed by the huge offer of food and wine available. We had a chance to dine at La Terrazza and tried a few different dishes (antipasti, pasta, cocktails and desserts) and everything was absolutely amazing, served by lovely Renata. The pizza section looked very inviting and we were served quickly and efficiently by a charming scottish guy and his colleagues, who walked us through the process of preparation and some of the ingredients of their delicious pizza. The dessert counter looked totally appealing, but we were so full we just had a coffee, a flavourful double espresso for me. Shame we couldn't have it at the counter, due to Covid regulations. Fantastic experience. Prices are slightly high, but for the wide selection of products Eataly offers and for the great service we got - staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful, though you could tell they were a bit overwhelmed by the pressure of a new opening and probably being a bit understaffed - I will be definitely coming back, and recommend Eataly to others too.
A. L.
Delicious coffee and cake in the downstairs cafe and fantastic selection of produce upstairs (bought sausage from the butcher's counter, interesting pasta shapes and a jar of fancy sauce).
S. G.
Been waiting for the London branch to open ever since going to Eataly in Milan.
Worth going for an Italian fix! Awesome pasteries, coffee, a freshly made pizzas!
Go early as you can as they queue to get in was mental!
M. W. N.
If you can't be bothered waiting for the terrace dining, just go in and pick up some takeaway pasta and tiramisu. Huge wine selection as well.
k. b.
Lovely atmosphere, visually exciting layout, the Italian food was gorgeous, and the the hazelnut flavour gelato I fully recommend it was delicious 😋.
S. H.
A really interesting all in one concept. You have a huuuuge variety of Italian wines, food stalls, restaurants and a really well stocked shop where you can find the most delicious Italian ingredients. A must visit if you enjoy Italy
D. B.
Amazing! Love that EATALY has opened in London! Incredibly delicious, did not disappoint. The atmosphere is great but it does get very busy so expect crowds but totally worth it. Make sure you book the aperol bar in advance as it is hard to get in.
J. B.
A wonderful, massive store full of every imported Italian food or drink you could imagine. Everything is fantastic quality, with great informative labelling, and very helpful staff on hand.
They even have a variety of nice places to eat in house. Seriously recommend them if you're a fan of good Italian food!
P. C.
Great selection of Italian ingredients and artisan veg. With a fairly high price premium as you'd expect. Not the nicest spot to have dinner in unless you like the noisy food hall vibe. The back restaurant looked more peaceful.
A. M.
The other Italian supermarket/restaurant/cafe combo in London just got some serious competition. Eataly is in a league of its own. Great selection of Italian foods and wines. You can't help but walk away being enriched with an additional bit of Italian food knowledge. Desserts at the café are stars.
J. S.
The store is amazing, so beautiful. I was only able to get takeaway so I'm not sure if outdoor reserved dining is the same quality. Pesto pasta was tasty but nothing special, ravioli was better but a little pricey. The store itself is so lovely to visit and has such a range of products to shop for at different price brackets, the staff are friendly and helpful and decor is so beautiful.
L. A.
Italy at your door step in London Liverpool Street.
Perfect choices from pasta ,wine, cheese etc...
You can find at Eataly
S. D.
Finally a real Italian shop where you can find the best produce our land has to offer. Not expensive, if you think you can buy your best local products.
L. F.
Beautiful Italian experience. Its like walking into Italy. So many places to eat, drink and shop. Allow enough time to fully enjoy the magnificent store.
F. P.
Great selection of Italian foods and variety of eating places. London definitely deserved to have a place like Eataly.
A. B.
Not as grand as the NY one but v enjoyable! Freshly made mozzarella and bread.. And some golden Italian ingredients for your kitchen. Killer wine selection. Must visit. Double entrance.. If you find a cue check the other one! ;)
S. K.
Fabulous Italian foodhall, excellent produce and lovely restaurants. It also houses the largest collection of Italian wines in the UK! Lovely helpful staff too.
J. F.
Amazing food at Pizza and Pasta place. Great Italian food market. Worth a visit.
S. M.
What a fab place for foodies!!!! As an italian, I must say I felt like I was in a food heaven! I booked a table at the restaurant called Cucina del Mercato. The idea is that you pick the fish or meat from the counter and they cook it for you on the spot. There is also a selection of starters and primi piatti to choose from. Food was DELICIOUS!!! It wasn't cheap, but it was worthy!!!
R. B.
Rude Staff, not willing to help point out where else to sit inside and have one of their coffees when it was busy at the front.
Over priced confectionary at the front of the shop, without offering a relaxed seating area to enjoy it. For the same price one could pop into any of the nearby high end restaurants or hotels for a coffee and bite to eat.
Great concept, but the management need to focus on staff training to ensure top-end customer service and satisfaction with that price range.
C. J.
Lovely dinner in an Italian style restaurant. Very cosy and friendly atmosphere , just a strong recommendation to have a booking if you want to avoid a long waiting time.
O. C.
Such a great experience we had here.
Very nice Italian Market with Al the goodies you can ask for.
And also the food and coffee was great

Finalmente qui!
We have been long waiting for Eataly. All your favourite Italian products await you there. We had dinner in la terrazza be and it was great. Pasta and pizza especially.
Really lucky all the Londoners!
S.
Excellent genuinely authentic Italian produce including an espresso bar with an array of cornetti and cakes, a fresh pasta bar (great for taking home for dinner), excellent wine selection and outdoor restaurant
I. K.
Great store with quality, delicious food and products. Very helpful and friendly staff. Takeaway counter is great. Looking forward to get a table in one of the restaurants next time.
L. B.
I love the atmosphere in the store as I have been in there many times now. Those of you who really like Italian food and/or would like to learn more about Italian cuisine and history then this is the place. They also do cooking class lessons which you can find out in their Web page.
R. P.
Amazing place for great quality food. You can find huge range of food, meat in a not too expensive price. Also a restaurant where you can choose your meat and they cook for you.
Great options of dry-aged meat
B. M.
We ate at pasta n pizza. VERY basic menu. The staff were attentive and very nice. Service charge IS included on the bill. Best to reserve.
G. m.
Traditional good quality Italian food but the price is extremely high to be honest. Customer service not at good standard: staff is not focused on clients as it should be considering the luxurious price. .
A. G.
I went here for my birthday weekend meal, the food was amazing, would strongly recommend the squid ink pasta and the cheese/meat board.
A.
What a magical place! Freshly made cheeses, breads, pastas and pizzas, that smell and look divine. There are cold meats, an impressive wine section, jams, olives, biscuits and even fresh fruit and veg. The sweet selection is impressive and very pretty. You could spend a few hours here. Definitely worth a visit for some tasty treats!
D. D.
We went there for lunch. The food was good but nothing very special. Portions are generally small, which I wouldn't mind if they were s bit more special. I had Ravioli with butter sauce, but to be honest, I could make them at home for the fraction of the price. My husband ordered pizza with prosciutto, but it wasn't a normal pizza as we know. It was hard round breaddough topped with rocket, Mozzarella and Prosciutto but nothing else. No tomatoe Sauce or cheese or soft pizza dough as we know. It would be good if the waitress would have explained it to us beforehand. I would visit again if there is no other choice of another Restaurant.
I would try the dessert section though it looked very tempting!

One of the top sites in London, hey pantheon of wonderful Italian food and sweet treats - also a great place for a meal/ coffee
J. G.
Nice Italy store, cake is wonderful and not so sweet. For me , the most attentive thing is sun dry mango and sun dry apricot
S. C.
It is my favourite go to place for Italian. The food so authentic. I love the market vibe. The restaurants on the first floor are great as well.
T. F.
Is a very cute place! You can buy a lot of Italian things. I didn’t like the food that much, it was a bit cold and they were only taking cash.
Y. W.
Have very mixed feelings about Eataly.
- On the one hand, you can find almost everything with good quality about Italy food here. from decent fresh pasta/pizza/desserts to meat/vegetables/cheese/wines. It is nice to just “see” all these products in one place and wonder around in this 2 floored markets.
- But on the other hand, the price is a let down. The same products can be found cheaper elsewhere. Eataly has therefore became more like a tourist attraction for people to pay a one off visit than an Italian food shop to buy groceries every now and then in my opinion.
My 4 star review is based on the food quality and my overall feeling about this place after visiting.
D. S.
Very enjoyable day out here. Great food and lovely atmosphere. My one gripe (hence the 4 stars) is that the portions are small and it's pricey, but it is delicious
M. M.
Have been to the other Eataly’s in New York and Las Vegas so was thrilled to try it in London. The surprise was the food market was so much more expensive than in the US. Bearing in mind the food had a shorter distance to go I was surprised. We had dinner on the terrace and ordered the large sharing platter and a shared cacio e pepe.. it was plenty. Service was efficient and friendly. Only downside is extremely loud Americans on so many tables but the traffic noise thankfully drowned them out.
B. H.
Really nice food, got pizza and pasta (probably only needed one) but tricky to find a seat. We got food first then looked so maybe grab a seat first then go up and get food. Lots of Italian groceries available too
E. (.
A big italian supermarket near liverpool street, it offers lots of italian products and interesting dry pastas to try. A great selection of cheese and wine. The food at the food court was sub par, the fresh pasta was good however the Bolognese sauce severely lack seasoning and the portion is somewhat small. Definitely do not worth the £12 i spent on it.
I suggest coming here to do your shopping but eat elsewhere if possible.
E. P.
Very good place to eat. The pizza was very good and the ambient is cool. Next to the station
S.
Best Italian pizza I've had in London. I had the pizza with pistachio and mozzarella. It was delicious. I came back another time and the food was equally as nice. They have a large selection of Italian food as well in their shop.
R. F.
No-expense-spared extravaganza of every Italian food and beverage your heart could desire. Mouths will water - and jaws drop at the prices, which are clearly intended to recoup the significant investment pronto. Whether the numbers stack up now that it’s clear WFH is here to stay remains to be seen.
A. B.
I love this place, I have been here frequently during my lunches. I have tried the pizzas they are really nice, you can taste the wholeness of each ingredient, it makes you appreciate the food more. I have tried many of the patisseries, the passionfruit tart thing being my fav with its coconut base. I have tried all of the non-alcoholic cocktails the Dante being my fav. Love the atmosphere
V. Z.
A good place to have a mini-trip to Italy not leaving London. Beautiful interior design, friendly staff that makes all shopping experience so much better. Good quality - definitely five stars. Price though a bit on a high end - expect price tags above Waitrose one - that’s why I rate 4 stars not 5. Loved their wine department that has biggest Italian wine collection in UK, superb cheese and salumi (they have 100 months old Parmesan!!!), very broad range of balsamic vinegars and glazes. If you come just to eat, definitely recommend having a coffee with some Italian pastry - yummy, yummy. If you are a true foodie like me - recommend to visit this place.
C. J.
Absolutely brilliant concept. I’ve been to Eataly in the Dubai mall too but this one beats it hands down. It’s just opened so expect to queue at least an hour to get in and up to half an hour for hot takeaway food but it’s well worth the wait. Fantastic selection of Italian groceries - highly recommend the sourdough loaf from the bakery counter, it’s absolutely outstanding! There’s a cold takeaway counter too, plus desserts. The ice cream is just delicious. There are some picnic style seats outside, plus some big steps on the street where you can eat. Hit the groceries department first as if you leave to eat, you’ll need to queue to get back in again.
H. K.
One of the best Italian places I have been.
S.
Finally Eataly is in London! I tried different locations of the same chain in Italy before and this one maintains the same level of selection, service and quality that make Eataly famous all over the world.
If you want to try the best possible quality and original Italian taste in London this is the place to go. I'm Italian and I can say that all flavours are preserved by careful preparations made with genuine ingredients by chefs who know what they are doing.
We tried the "Tagliere misto di salumi e formaggi" con "tris di fritti", "spaghetti con datterini e mozzarella di bufala" e "tiramisù" as dessert. Wonderful experience!
We were lucky to find a table in pizza and pasta restaurant as we didn't had a reservation (we went very early though, 11.30am). I recommend to reserve way in advance.
Prices are absolutely fair, considering the quality and the location. Definitely worth a try!
C. S.
The pizza bar is fantastic, the grocery selection is impressive and the quality and taste of the take home meals is high. The only thing letting it down is the price of the cafe which for example asks almost £8 for a single cannoli.
V. B.
A mesmerising shop full of quality ingredients, food, sauces, meats, cheese, fresh pasta and loads more.
This shop is absolutely must go who loves food and shop around for super high quality groceries.
There are also a few places to have fresh pasta, pizza, sandwiches, soup etc.
Ready to eat food is amazing, fresh, tasty and smells deliciously.
For the rest you have to go there and experience yourself.
M. D.
Great! Ate at Pasta e Pizza for a quick after work catch up with my son. Very fast service, fairly simple food cooked really well. Fresh but firm pasta with lovely sauces. We sat at the counter and so saw the food prepared in front of us and even had a chat with one of the chefs. Definitely go again.
M. E.
Really fun destination for foodies - the indoor market has a great selection of Italian foods and the restaurants are lovely. Have now eaten at the Pizza & Pasta restaurant and the terrace, highly recommend both!
L. L.
Ok, the pizza is really good, but so pricey ... £14 for a capricciosa! I rather go to Franco Manca.
Wine was mediocre at best. You'd expect better for these prices. Avoid the cheapest bottles (still £7 for a small glass). Safer to stick with beer.
Our waiter was really good though, the right mix of attentive and friendly.
Add some coffee or grappa and we walked with £35 each to eat in what looks like a shopping centre. I don't think I'd go back any time soon. Overpriced.
B. K.
What a cool place right next to Liverpool Street Station, fascinating range of Italian food and goods 😋
S. C.
This is such a good edition to Liverpool Street. Easy to get to and contain almost everything’s the restaurants within it are brilliant and tastes amazing! If you haven’t visited it, you need to
A. B.
Tasty italian pizza and fresh pasta. Good espresso and delicious canolo ricotta pecora.
D. R.
Its a destination, feels like its been here for ever.
Give yourself some time to wander around, there are 3 different restaurants as well so make sure you find them and read the menus to choose the right one for you, theyre all different.
There's lots to see as you can imagine, over 2 floors. A deli counter, fresh fruit and veg, all things pasta, wine, sweet stuff, pastries and coffee and maybe a bit more I forgot to mention 😀
We ate in the pasta restaurant, we hadnt booked so managed a seat at the counter watching the chefs make the wonderful dishes.
I actually loved sitting up here, it was quite an experience and I learned a few things!
Lovely menu, some classics and a few more unusual dishes to try, we loved it
E. H.
Excellent authentic Italian food. Busy at lunchtime, but still quick given it was freshly cooked. Plenty of seating. Not cheap but very tasty!
S. C.
Impressive selection of wines. I ate pizza and drank prosecco at their terrazza and both were excellent. I've been their client in Italy since the beginning and they never disappoint.
M. V.
This place is incredible! It's like a giant Italian playground - huge store, huge restaurants, and unbelievably delicious food. You simply have to go.
F. P.
Went today to the Dolci Italiani counter to try some desserts. I asked the person at the till if some of the desserts were vegetarian (with no gelatin or animal rennet). Her response was full of confusion and ignorance, "there's no meat in the desserts". You would think someone working in the cafe would have an ounce of knowledge before working there. A simple Vegetarian/vegan/gluten free sign on the dessert cards would avoid this embarrassing interaction.
e. w. b. f.
Review rating primarily for the Pasta and Pizza resturant, which is frankly overpriced for subpar food. You're much much better off going to a high-street Italian restaurant than getting soggy pizza for double the price.
Similarly the Illy café's patisserie selection is overpriced for "ok" pastries. Not bad but not double the price of some top class patisseries.
Rest of Eataly is good, great selection of food. Get some Venchi if you've never gotten those before.
S. N.
Very interesting and unique Emporium is how i would describe it. Restaurants inside and outside, cafes inside, bar inside, sweetshop inside and the biggest exclusively Italian foodshop on the 1st floor. Of course i bought some Italian products!!
A. D.
Huge Italian indoor market. Downstairs you’ll find the cafeteria (where all traditional gelato and cakes are made), the sweets road, including the cannoli stall and the pasta and pizza makers.
Upstairs is where you can find everything Italian. From fruit and veggies to meat, fish, charcuterie, cheeses, chocolate, cookies, sauces, pasta, oil and herbs and obviously wine and liquors from all Italian regions.
Also, don’t forget to peak inside the cooking school (scuola di cucina) and the brand you grill, pasta and pizza restaurants!
D. T.
Good Italian food experience. If you want to satisfy your Italian food cravings but not sure what to eat, then head here for plenty of options. Be sure to get there early or ideally outside the peak lunch/dinner times to avoid long queues (mainly due to Covid capacity restrictions). For a more detailed review, feel free to check out my blog, ABC Dad.
F. L.
Beautiful shop every region of Italy contained, impressive wine dept. Well planned our in fine deltail and information on Reginald wines
K. I.
Everything about Italy! Delicious gelato and food. Huge selection of groceries!
O.
Fantastic array of speciality Italian goods. Very bright, spacious and clean. Flatbread pizzas in the restaurant were very nice and the service was efficient and friendly.
E. C.
Amazing food.
My waiter was awesome too. Joseph.
Atmosphere is great, lighting is great. Open pizza kitchen is awesome to watch.
And this place is huge.
There's restaurants...that's right, more than 1!
There's an Italian supermarket with all their own freshly made stuff and stuff imported from Italy.
Very very overpriced.
Wasn't keen on the dessert I had, but that's just me. I personally didn't like it, not to my taste. You might. It was some deep fried pastry thing with chocolate bits either end filled with cheese that's been sweetened.
Edit, went again had chocolate gelato. DON'T GET IT. It the worst I've ever had. Desserts here suck.
And if wines you're thing. Boy do they have wine. It goes on forever, shelf after shelf.
I rarely rave about any restaurant. This one I am raving about.
Eat here. You'll love it.
M. T.
Pros: pastries and coffee are delicious. Pizza E pasta restaurant is very good and wonderful customer service. The supermarket has a huge selection of quality Italian products and wines. Cons: prices are expensive. The focaccia/pizza downstairs is very average and expensive. Also I was disappointed to see so much food waste carried by staff during the day. I hope that they have a more sustainable method rather than landfill like compost for this.
R. B.
Looks great, humongous selection of Italian products but sadly a great deal of the stuff on offer is overpriced.
W. S.
Very posh place, food looks very high class so as the price! Nice place to catch up with friends and family. Recommended to treat your parent for a meal or just coffee they will love it. Atmosphere is beautiful.
E. C.
We enjoyed the special fast menu , great value for money, and very tasty food. I enjoyed the pizza , which was on a par, with pizzas I have enjoyed in Naples ( and far superior to one ate in Rome yesterday!) . Highly recommended.
S.
Great place for Italian food, drink and shopping. Fab wines and delicatessen. They make fresh pasta there, Italian breads and there are a number of different cafés and restaurants inside. Right next to Liverpool Street Station. The place is huge! Well worth a visit!
E. L.
Dinner on the terrace - great atmosphere, service, food and cocktails. I can’t wait to come back to the shop!
A. B.
Great place for a light lunch in the open air. Not a big selection of food, but everything is very good.
M. B.
My partner and I came to la terrazza for our anniversary.
The food is really nice, a bit pricey but worth it.
We will definitely come again.
A. M.
Had such a great lunch here! We tried the pizzeria first but it was an hour wait so we went over to the market kitchen and they were very friendly and accommodating. We sat at the bar where a very friendly barman helped us decide what to eat whilst making an excellent Italian bergamot cocktail! My wife had the truffled pasta and I had a selection of anchovies, mozzarella, coppa (see gabagool) and some freshly baked breads. We then did a bit of shopping to work off lunch, perfect!
A. C.
I've been excited about Eately opening since I visited their New York experience a few years ago. It was a flying visit but I could have spent a day or two there. Your stomach will love you but your wallet will hate you.
S. C.
I loved it. The food was fantastic, the customer servie exquisite (thank you, Renata) and the mozzarella dish!! Omg!!
P. S.
Delicious pastas, simple but so flavourful! The place is absolutely massive, with several different bars and restaurants as well as a few shops with Italian delicacies. Very keen to explore more :)
S. M.
I visited the branches of Eataly in New York, Chicago, Riyadh and Dubai. This branch is the best among them. 👌🏻
D. M.
HUGE ! Delicous Italian food emporium, how lucky is the city of London to have this at their door step. Fine produce from various regions of Italy plus they make alot in house (even mozzarella). Really like their pastries, wished they used better coffee than illy (please consider somebody better like all press). Didn't try the upstairs restaurants, but certainly will be back to eat through the menu. I love the Eataly in Milan and now have one closer to home. With my fav Princi no more, this will do in place.
A. G.
As an Italian living in London, Eataly is a little piece of home here in the city. I get my groceries once a week - anything from veggies to cheese, pasta, meat, fish and wine.
A special thank you to the amazing Francesco (the butcher) who is not only competent, but also exceptionally kind.
T. S.
Huge variety of Italian cheese, meats, pasta, olive oil, sweets, wine, the list could go on and on.
M. R.
This is a typical Italian escape. I am in Loooooovvveeeeeee!! Next to the station very convenient for everyone. Prices are very good, I first thought the prices are going to be sky high but noooooo!! They are very good. Selection of everything. Cheese, snacks, pasta, frozen ready food, gelaaaaatoooooooo! Of course didn't buy it yet but I will. Venchi, Baci...
B. M.
The smell when I walked in invoked some distant memories of food-phoria! Fantastic selection. I will definitely be going back soon! Quite pricey (like everything else in London though).
N. H.
Fantastic selection of Italian foodstuffs and ingredients, lavishly laid out in a fine setting, some excellent food to eat on site for a quick snack and great place for afternoon tea.
A. G.
Lovely place. Nice aromas, looks great and has a nice ambiance. Large and spread out over 2 floors with several restaurants and nice stuff from basic staples to cheese, fish, meat, bakery and of course hand crafted pastas. If you love Whole Foods Market you'll love this place.
Be warned though of Whole Foods prices. You can find good value if you take your time. I took my time! Happy 😊.
Except...
I went in to get provelone cheese. This place is all things Italy and Italian right 🇮🇹?
No provolone. I didn't understand and was devastated. 😢
L. M.
Beautiful setting and a great range of products, especially wines. However is very over priced and the quality of fresh produce isn't much better than any other supermarket. I did find few Italian items that I couldn't find anywhere else, but again, you cannot expect the same quality you would have in Italy.
The service at the restaurant was good, our waitress was super nice (an Egyptian from Rome!) and so were the oysters, the wine and the fresh pasta with mushrooms. I will sure pay another visit!
B. R.
Phenomenal Italian food indoor market in the busy City to London Bishopsgate.
Arrays of coffee shops and restaurants, and truckload of real Italian delicatessen.
Panettone to die for
A. F.
Really good location and the food was incredible. Lots to choose from too. Reasonably priced but the items inside the store I found quite expensive.
L. B.
Italian paradise!! High quality ingredients, reasonable prices.
D. G.
Good selection of fresh pizzas and pastas. Reasonable prices (for London) - serving of pizza £5.50, tagliatelle bolognese circa £11 (June 21)
M. T.
Excellent selection of wine in their store and very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff who were able to help me find the exact bottle I was looking for instantly, despite their being thousands to pick from!
8.
Good collection of Italian wines and okay selection of foods. But I think it's a bit overpriced. Some stuff were more expensive than Selfridges food hall.
R. M.
Excellent meal, generous portions and good service. Highly recommend.
A. B.
We had a good meal at Pasta and Pizza. The food was super good.
A. A.
Excellent quality, amazing staff. One of my fave places is the coffee shop with amazing coffee and pastries. Plus the area has plugs and WiFi, making it a lovely space to work from!
D. B.
Good selection in the shops, however I wanted to stop for some lunch in the outdoor restaurant. We waited almost an hour for a pizza and a pasta dish I think the waiter forgot to put our order through. Ruined the experience 👎🏻
S. L.
Mad noisy place with a great vibe. Food fresh and tasty. Best to book if you want to eat in the restaurant upstairs.
M. V.
I had the pleasure finally to visit the Uk version of Eataly last week.
What can I say, Probably the best Italian restaurant/ supermarket that you find in London I have tried the pasta (fettuccine al Tartufo), and I think everything feels original and authentic from the past to the sauce. I also tried the drink (typical spritz, that is a good test), and that was made with high-quality Prosecco, and everything was prepared properly.
I was able to eat and drink without a reservation about the service, and the order arrived in less than 15 minutes. Everything is quite professional, and you can see they have invested a lot in preparing the people who work inside. For the pasta, one bottle of water, and the spritz, I pay less than 24 pounds, which is more than reasonable considering the quality.
Last note regarding the supermarket that I was very skeptical about at the beginning. It's challenging to find fresh traditional Italian food in London (without spendings an incredible amount). I have tried focaccia di recco (one of the most typical and difficult to prepare a dish of my region. Even if it was prepared, the food was incredibly well done, and most important, it felt authentic (and not the traditional English interpretations of food).
Overall I have to say that I was really impressed and I super recommended it.
J. W.
Lovely Antipasti board, Cacio e Pepe very good too.
S. T.
Eataly doesn't disappoint. All sections have a great range of authentic top quality Italian food. The wine range is impressive, the restaurants serve unpretentious and delicious food. This quality comes with a price, but if you're prepared to spend you're in for a treat
R. P.
It blew away my expectations and the perfect place for a coffee and excellent croasain. I can't wait to eat a full meal there now
T. (.
Eataly in London I was thinking with more forniture. I didn't find simple things. As well I find nice parmesan cheese and fantastic Mortadella. Tough but not enough 😁
D. F.
Funny old place, considering the price of food and wine. £9 for a slice of pizza and £35 for the 2nd cheapest bottle of wine with no ice bucket??? You then sit in an area that could best be described as a cattle market, sorry don't get it.....Staff were very nice, but will give it a miss next time.
Y. N.
A great place for some coffee and a great selection of Italian desserts.
L. S.
Great place to buy Italian produce! Delicious food. Great atmosphere
A. “. G. W.
Love coming here, great Italian restaurant and supermarket with a huge array of authentic Italian food on offer.
G. W.
Good food but rude service and a very commercial venue. Would not recommend if you’re looking for authentic Italian food, but is good if you’re in central london and need some food in a big venue.
D. M. P.
The best pizza I ever had. I highly recommend! The price on the food is reasonable measured towards the amount and quality of food you get.
Be aware that is can be difficult to find a place to sit around lunch.
I tried pizza, pasta and tiramisu. All can be recommended except the pasta. It was excepnsive and the amount of food was small and the flavors were somewhat flat.
C. S.
A truly awesome place, with a huge choice of truly delicious foods and mouthwatering ingredients, topped off with some magnificent restaurants. Highly recommended.
G. M. (.
Very well organised with lots of Italian specialties available. Prices are s bit high but quality is assured.
J. B. (.
Absolutely huge cafe and shop, very crowded and busy with limited seating and a lengthy wait for drink preparation. Drinks weren't anything special. There's an small specialist chocolate shop with an interesting variety available to buy but quite expensive. Finally there's a shop selling artisan Italian food items. Apparently there's also a restaurant but I didn't know that until after my visit so xannot comment. The place is a bit of a Jack of All Trades.
n. d.
If you are a lover of Italian food as I am definitely visit. You will feel like you are in Willy Wonka's world (for all kind of Italian food). They have Focaccia to die for and the great fresh pasta and Roman Pizza. It's two floors and you can spend hours eating and drinking and shopping. What more they have a Venchi Alley. All lovers of Venchi will know what that means and if you haven't heard of they the only thing I can say is try their chocolates and ice cream and you will be a life long patron!!
I. N.
So many things to try! A whole day must definitely be spent here! Perfect place for a date❤️
R. I.
Simply awesome, stuffed to the rafters with genuine Italian goodies 😁 and while some things are way more than they cost in Italy there is also loads of other stuff cheaper than buying online
You will be spoilt for choice, not to mention really good pizza and coffee plus the wine department is absolutely crammed with Italian wines but bigger than most off-licence or your local supermarket plus fresh meat and cheese
Also while I can't say I spoke to everyone, everyone I spoke to was Italian 😁
Really really good, expensive pizza and coffee but it's just like sitting in your favourite pizzeria 👍
j. l.
Wide choice of Italian groceries and wine. Tasty food at several restaurants. A must visit if you love Italian food.
J. P.
Great place to eat or shop Italian
K. B.
Been there before.
Wow. A great place. Huge Italian shopping area experience.
Great coffee , cakes etc .
Very good value for money.
Next door to Liverpool Street station.
F. B. M.
Basically its a little Italy 🇮🇹 in London, what an amazing experience, all what you need from Italy is here, loved the food, the wooden pizza is yummy, last but not least, the gelato is a must.
E.
Love the idea. Love the food. Would shop here until I drop - if I could afford to. Buzzing atmosphere. Lots of Italian tourists - either just off the Stansted express or just about to get it. I'd say that's validation for you. 🙂
B. E.
Not quite up there with the ones in Milan and Turin but yesss so glad this is now in London and they’ve done a great job with it. Only disappointment is the meagre selection of aceto balsamico di Modena - please if you read this and can influence the buying, get some more top quality choices of vinegar in.
Thanks. Can’t wait to come back
S. M.
The shopping here is great with a ton of products from Italy and high quality fresh fish/meat/cheese as well.
The cafe on ground floor has an awesome selection of desserts and it's worth it to get something with some coffee.
The restaurants on first floor are ok. Food is good, but not really amazing. Service is not particularly impressive.
S.
If you like Italian food this place is mind blowing. The reason for 4 stars was that it was very chaotic once you were inside. It was hard to tell who was just standing around and who was queuing to get into the restaurants. It was also very busy which added to the chaos.
j. s.
Wow. What a find. Absolutely stunning Italian Market.
C. b.
Loved everything about the experience. My husband and I had a delicious lunch in their upstairs restaurant and even though we hadn't booked they squeezed us in. I bought a few items from their food store to give to family at Christmas. The atmosphere and Italian staff made us feel as though we were in Italy. We later returned to have coffee and cake in their patisserie - amazing, no complaints. Not a cheap experience but in this case you got what you paid for.
G. M.
Review for the restaurant: Food was good and cocktail menu was nice. I am totally baffled however as to why they would offer gluten free pasta options on their menu but cook the pasta in the same water as the 'normal' pasta thereby defeat the point entirely..........
R.
Incredible place, the feel of Italy in the middle of London. Amazing food and fantastic wine made this the perfect stop off, loved it!
S. K.
Everything seems fantastic until I sit and wait for almost an hour for my meal to turn up. Food is good. Service can be improved.
A. C.
Food is lovely and high quality, full italian experience in terms of taste. The place offers great variety and selection of products (food, wine, fresh vegetables as well) that hardly can be found elsewhere. 2 restaurants on the first floor (one seafood and one pasta/pizza). Ground floor salads/pasta/sandwiches and pizzas take away or small bites. A nice bar and ice cream area with lot of seats and terraces.
S. F.
Everyone likes Italian food, but not all Italian food is good. I found that Eataly is one of the better Italian places in London and definitely one to revisit when you have a craving for good Italian food. Excellent selection not just for mains, but also dessert and Italian pantry essentials. I even went back for the fresh pasta with truffles after having it for the first time. Delicious cannoli as well. Would highly recommend and will likely be back for more
I. F.
The knee blanket was a nice addition when sitting outside. Had one of the salads and it was terrific. Of course, the enjoyment was aided and abetted by the Negroni I had with it. Wife didn't get her first choice of a Coke Zero but an Italian 'look-a-like' though, sadly, not a taste-a-like. Then when all paid up there was a toilet stop in the main Eataly building (as opposed to the alfresco dining experience. Well, that was keeping the powder dry....! The main building seems vast and some many Italian things (honestly, not surprised!). Loved being there and I thing you should go, too. Now.
S. V.
My 1st time and no disappointed at all. Really nice and spacious location. Really large range of Italian products. You have to try the restaurants as well. Food delicious, just a bit disappointed with the cocktails but this wouldn't stop me to go back.
P. L.
Nice place for a quick bite. Lots of seating and options for Italian food and fresh produce. Ground floor is more of a canteen style, has more affordable options in this area. Chocolate display is nicely decorated, although quite pricey if you choose from the pick and mix section.
Y. H.
Very nice premises and layout. Very expensive food options (but good quality) and small portions. Lack of dedicated outside eating space.
E. M.
I adore this place. It's so pretty with lots of gorgeous fresh food. It's a bit expensive but there's some affordable options.
A. C.
Great range of food and drinks, good place to go for a coffee.
C. J. T.
Fab food, excellent friendly service. A little oasis dreamland of all things Italian. Pizza and pasta both excellent and my aunt loved her rose wine.
J. K. T.
Loved the food court to grab a quick pizza or fresh pasta however the market where you can buy grocery goods is soooo overpriced. Definitely won't be shopping here unless it's for a special occasion.
C. F.
Good selection of the products they focus on. The cafe doesn’t do hot chocolate which, considering how much chocolate they sell, seems strange. Nice space though and the tiny berry tart I had was tasty though not very delicate.
S. O.
I had the Anchovy Pizza and their own Tiramisu. It was excellent and the venue was also.
J. G.
Somewhat overrated for sandwiches at least. I may return to try a meal. Huge establishment, but felt quite geared up for tourists rather than an authentic Italian food shop.
s.
Good choices of Italian food and good quality but a lot of food is overpriced. Still a good place to shop some items that are not available everywhere in London
V. N.
Nice experience, great food and cafe. It's right next to the Liverpool street station which makes navigation very easy. They've got a nice cafe with delicious baked goods, chocolates and almost a mini market. Upstairs has a grocery store with items you don't usually get in other places easily.
Pasta section is very good, delicious pasta. I didn't enjoy their pizzas as much but they're very filling. Atmosphere is brilliant and buzzing with loads of energy. You can easily spend an entire evening at this place
A. M.
The Pasta/Pizza restaurant is absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere and top notch service. I really enjoyed the “tris di fritti” which was a generous plate of the three fried starters, all vegetarian and very delicious, highly recommend that. The pizzas are beautiful and very filling. Mozzarella is amazing. Dessert was also great. My only complaint would be the prices are a little steep, especially for the pasta dishes (£20?!!!) but I will still be returning.

Ordered two Americano cocktails and get two coffee instead.. maybe also my fault to not specified but it was 7 in the afternoon in the aperitivo area, so I thought that was obvious and then they just told us that they were not doing that cocktail.
So we asked for two negroni sbagliato and get a bad-done cocktail: 2 parts of campari and vermouth and then the barman just filled up to the top with prosecco instead of putting one part of that too. So it was just a prosecco with some campari and vermouth. At the bancone 4 confused, non organised guys.
It can’t be just the name, instead you should enhance and keep the quality.

A wonderful surprise awaited us when we arrived for our booking at Terra. To our astonishment we were the first ever guests in the restaurant and what a wonderful experience it was. The first highlight was our waitress Saulli who introduced us to the amazing food and wine with real pride in the produce and infectious excitement. And the second highlight? Well, I'm pleased to say that the food lived up to the description - I can still taste the amazing caponata I was served with my dish. I don't usually order a dessert but I was tempted by citrus flavours that did not disappoint. Highly recommend a visit.

Very interesting place.
Great selection of Italian products.
The restaurants are a bit on the expensive side, especially the pizza place on ground floor
The chocolates are amazing!

Great fresh food to eat, amazing selection of Italian foods to take home (squid ink pasta is a must-try). First floor has an impressive selection of Italian wines that you could lose a good hour in.

Not a shop, an experience.....so many interesting foods and drinks, breads, chocolate, pasta meat, cheese, pastries. If you like Italian food you gotta go and allow a bit of time. Not to be rushed.

Went for the truffle dinner with wine pairing and it was scrumptious!
Prices are high, but the quality and authenticity are worth it if you want to treat yourself to amazing Italian gastronomy outside of Italy!

Wonderful place. Do not think of it as just a shop for delicious culinary delights though. It has bars, eateries and a fantastic lively vibe. Best place in London full stop.

Great place right near liverpool st station. You can order abit like a dinner hall and sit down at any seat. I like the outdoor setting, you got the bushes and trees around the area (its a non smoking area). I am yet to try the pasta here which is my next option!
I had the pizza, where they toast it and give to you on a metal tray. U can order drinks in the middle island and around it is either the pizzas or the pastas on the side.

Great one stop shop for Italian food to grab and go or sit and eat. Attractive bar. Great if you are in a rush. Reasonable price. Good food.

Fantastic meal. Great service. Wonderful ambience. Would absolutely go back!

Lovely Italian experience. The coffee bar at the bottom sets the tone, while the products they have on show really bring a little snippet of Italian supermarkets to London. They also have bread, meat, mozzarella and pasta counters where you can buy high quality fresh Italian products. My highlight was seeing them make the mozzarella balls fresh.

Lovely food and environment! Their bread and cheese board is a killer.

The upstairs restaurant is fantastic, wonderful pizza and pasta at very reasonable price. Their pasta carbonara is to die for! The downstairs food area however is terrible, please avoid at all cost, the pizza is reheated and therefore very dry, pasta was not cooked sufficiently and raw inside. My 5 star rating relates only to the upstairs restaurant.

Lovely service! Fab outdoor space especially on a sunny day 🧡

A great addition for The City and I think it will do well. Food was authentic and tasty except for the pizzas… the base is very thick and rather soggy … and the topping was ordinary and not overly tasty ( despite being a Puttanesca) . I have yet to find pizzas like this in Italy. Hopefully they will change this … ( most plates I saw at the end of the meal on adjoining tables left most of the soggy stuff …) pity … but fixable …

A very lovely Italian foodhall and market with various places to order food and eat in, as well as things to buy to take home. An amazing selection of dry and fresh pasta shapes available, with loads of different pasta sauces and toppings for you to make your favourite dish at home.
The bar had incredible cocktails as well - I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty and smooth they were!
Can't wait to go back again and eat in at the restaurant upstairs!

this isn't like going down the Italian food aisle in your supermarket, this is like getting on a plane and walking into any restaurant or foods hope in Italy. #bottledtomatoesexist

A joy for lovers of Italian food. Spread over two floors it has a vast range of food to purchase from ingredients to takeaway, also it currently has three restaurants with different themes with a forth due to open in September.
We dined at the Pasta and Pizza restaurant and found the food and the service to be excellent.
I would recommend pre booking a table as it's always busy.
I would highly recommend a visit.

Very nice but on the opposite side of road there is a small italiano bakery that sell the most amazing pastry you have to try!!

We came here is a group of 7 for my friend's birthday and can honestly say it's one of the best Italian restaurants I've been too. The outdoor terrace seating was amazing, the food was great quality (and reasonably priced) and all the staff were super enthusiastic the whole time. Will definitely be coming back!

Great boutique Italian market with a huge range. Probably not as good as the ones in NY but it's a great start!

Aporol and Persrcco is a must. Great food and good service.

Great place, but the prices are little high comoaring to others similar markets.

Great selection of Italian foods and restaurants. Loved it.

Great place with fantastic food and a wonderful range of wine :) I can spend hours in the market buying all sorts of breads and olives and cheese!

Amazing service, delicious food, welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely come again 😃

To me, this is an Italian representation of all the food stores in Italy. Amazing place and people.

Lovely place. Nice aromas, looks great and has a nice ambiance. Large and spread out over 2 floors with several restaurants and nice stuff from basic staples to cheese, fish, meat, bakery and of course hand crafted pastas. If you love Whole …

The market kitchen restaurant had some great authentic dishes. The service was excellent and there's a huge range of proper Italian products, wines and eateries surrounding.
