High-quality pizzeria in Covent Garden which I have no problems recommending. I found the pizzas delicious and I love how extensive the menu is - it can take a while to decide what you want because it all sounded so good! Love how the pizza toppings are inspired by cities around the world such as Tokyo, Madrid and New York. Alongside their pizzas, they also do burgers too. Cool vibes inside too and the service is friendly and helpful. Book online via their website to take advantage of their 2 pizzas for £14 offer. Fantastic value!

Great gourmet pizzas, adding something different to an already faultless dish. Their pizzas tasted really good and they were quite filling, they also had pleasant starters and desserts. This location is quite nice and large, the atmosphere is good but it can get very noisy busy depending on how busy it is. The service was very good, the meals didn't take ridiculously long to come out. It was a nice meal and I recommend this place.

Not a bad experience, but the food had strange combinations on some. I ordered the breakfast pizza. Although a strange concept, it tasted decent. Not sure if I will order it again.

We reserved a table for the evening on a Tuesday. When we got there we are immediately seen to our table. Nicely lit, modern decor and spacious inside.
Food was good and flavorful! The burgers and pizzas are equally as good.
Service is good and attentive. Food came at a reasonable time after ordering.

Nice food, cheap and cheerful, customer service was great. I had calamari as a starter, it was chewy and blant. However, as a main I had the Londoner burger which was really tasty. I highly recommend that.
The restaurant feels a bit.more like a canteen, and I think it's best for after work pre drinks food than a formal dining.
The cocktails aren't great, definitely not work £7.90 - random price btw.

Fire and Stone first timer and not dissapointed. Definately go for the thinner crust pizza with extra topping when they offer it to you, well worth the £1.75. Cocktails are a bit of an hit too, especially the espresso martini.

My nine year old's favourite restaurant to go to in London. We visit quite often, food is always very good, they have a great selection on the menu and very interesting and yummy pizzas. Service is always great, food is pretty quick and you can always get a table without a wait or a booking. Place is very popular and has a good atmosphere.
For kids - you get a main, dessert and drink for under £7.00, good portion sizes for older kids too. Colouring, wordseaches and crayons to entertain the kids while you wait for your food.
For the adults - Reasonably priced food and drink (especially for London) Pizzas, pasta dishes are very good too and the salads are yummy, Crayfish and Kale was delicious. Nice range of ciders, ales, wines and cocktails too.
Photos - Peking Duck Pizza, Elderflower Panna Cotta, kids meal pick your own toppings (pineapple and olive), kids meal churrios with Nutella and chocolate sauce.

Sady eating here was just average. The burgers had a nice flavour but they really should have been cooked medium as they were quite dry (the waiter said they don't do it for food health security reasons). Fries were very disappointing, they had no flavour, were squishy and under-salted. Even though the place wasn't that busy, our waiter seemed stressed and not very focussed. We had to wait quite long to place the order and also to ask for the bill. Not tempted to go there again.

Distinctly "ok" place for pizza that has a bit of an overhyped reputation. The range of pizzas is unusual, however we found that for some reason the flavours didn't really come through leaving it a slightly overprice bland experience given the other food options in the area
J. D.
Great place for a relaxed lunch. Super with kids. The pizza comes with chips so it's a filling meal. The ice cream pudding is also very generous.
I had an Acapulco, similar to the sloppy from a week known chain, but much better.
The service was great, atmosphere relaxed, will definitely be coming back.

Pizza are very unique and very great quality. They have pizza choice from variety of cities in the world. New York, Melbourne, Giza, Peking and marakesh, with local flavor of that region. Also side salad was very tasty. Price is very reasonable. Desert is ok. Customer service is fantastic tho thank you for great experience.
S. I.
The food was nice but nothing spectacular, the cocktails were decent. Service was good, the staff were always there when we needed them and also they were patient and helpful modifying the pizzas for us. It was on the pricier side for a pizza which like I said it wasn't anything special

Went for lunch with a colleague. Though the lunch menu is advertised in the window the menu they give you by default is the full a la carte. You have to ask for the lunch menu which is cheeky and just wrong. The bill was also wrong, they charged my £13 for my pizza when it should have been in the lunch menu option. Having said all that, it was a fantastic meal. My pizza (ground beef) and my colleagues burger were both very tasty and service was quick. I’ll be back for certain.

A lovely little place to chow down at if your in the mood for nice pizza and okay service. The pizza was very nice but everything just seemed a little over priced in my opinion.

We went here for a private event, it was really well run and the food was served warm, tasty and plentiful. The space wouldn't be well suited for more than 25 I would say. Overall it served well for a work do, but could have been better organised - the staff had to barge through to clear plates etc - maybe put the food table on the other side instead of under the mirror for better access!
E. J.
Good pizzas, perhaps some a little -too- out there. Good service, kind staff.

Staff are friendly and relatively quick at providing service. Food range is good and tasty, howevrr after going first few times but hasn't changed much in last few years and so is not as novel or exciting anymore.. Its fairly priced for the area and gets even better if you use a tastecard (note tou need to book ahead and if you do there is no wifi and getting reception for the app can he difficult)
B. T.
Great restaurants at Covent Garden they have the most fabulous pizzas all sorts of toppings Sam you may not have thought of but so tasty will definitely be going back again lovely atmosphere staff a brilliant and you can't knock the prices for London either , use the taste card and get even better value

Nice place. Even though it was full it didn't feel like we were packed in a place. Very friendly staff and the food was great! I had a Londoner Burger. It was really delicious!

The sleek, modern architectural style of Fire & Stone would leave one to believe the food is comparably polished, but unfortunately it’s not. Also, I have never seen more bachelorette parties happening simultaneously in one restaurant in my life. That observation goes a long way in describing the nature of this restaurant; the decor looks upmarket, but the drinks are cheap (£10 for a large jug of roughly three pours). It's approachable for people (and by people I mean bachelorette parties and couples on second dates) looking for a relatively nice restaurant in Covent Garden without searching for something that's actually good. It's a step above Franco Manca in sophistication, but a step backward in quality.
The food as a whole isn't bad, it's just not good enough to justify the cost. The Hand Stretched Flatbread and Baked Ciabatta comes with four pieces of what may as well be scrap pizza dough accompanied by one teaspoon of hummus, salsa verde, and tzatziki; there’s barely any bread with the dish but it's somehow still too much for the amount of dip provided. For £5.75, it's not extortionate, but considering the amount of food you're presented with is equivalent to what would be left in the bottom of the bowl were this served in a proper size, it's too much to be comfortable paying.
The pizzas are roughly twelve inches, which is fair for the price if you go for the non-meat options (£11 - £12), but the meat pizzas range up to £15, and that's a lot for what you're getting. For example, the "soft, runny egg" on my Florence pizza (£10.95) was actually more like scrambled, and the balsamic glaze on the Melboure (£11.50) was so sweet I skipped dessert. If you have money to burn, I suggest splurging on what the menu describes as a "larger, thinner, and crispier base for only £1.75 extra." Let's make this clear: they'll charge you nearly £2 to roll your pizza out a bit more. How generous!
Also, the soda was flat and there's a sign on a door near the restroom that says "caution, dangerous chemicals." Maybe that's what's in all those jugs of pina coladas. There has to be something.

Got the offer 3 courses for £20 with a glass of prosecco. Well worth it. Good menu choices and nice ambiance

It’s not a bad pizza place, definitely more for casual dining. My friend and I halved our pizzas- I got the Peking (duck) and she got a meaty one. I preferred mine and would recommend it. With tastecard, it was two for one and so I couldn’t argue at the price!
B. H.
The food quality was very good, very clean and staff friendly. The actual restaurant is nicely laid out. Would go again.

This is a lovely Pizza restaurant that I have been to many times for all sorts of occasions from casual dining to birthdays and celebrations. A bit of class. The food is lovely and they have some really unusual options that are all gorgeous! Some excellent sharing starters too. The service is really good, everyone is keen to make sure you have a nice time. They also do some good offers and discounts. Highly recommended!
S. L.
Pizza there is delicious and there are a lot of menu options! Great casual vibe. Only downside is that every minute the door opens and the freezing air can be felt all the way through the centre of the restaurant- and I know I wasn't the only one complaining about this. I would suggest a second door to be placed after entering the first to ensure the cold air is kept out.
M. J.
We have been here many times and it's always great. Everyone had something they enjoyed and we all had dessert too. Awesome! Sadly, my partner's pizza came out cold, hard and almost barren of any toppings, as compared to the rest of our groups meals. But full credit to the team they replaced it without fuss, with another different one, and on top of that did not charge us for it. Wonderful service! Highly recommended.

We got a meal here as part of an experience both her as a gift. Not a bad place for pizza, and seemed to be very busy, even at 6PM. The food itself was certainly good, with some slightly unusual flavour combinations that seemed to work very well indeed. We were given a limited menu for our voucher, but we're offered several upgrades at reasonable prices. Drinks seemed a bit expensive, but maybe that's just the London effect. Service was very quick, but we didn't feel rushed.
W. B.
For london, the food wasnt that expensive, simple stonefired pizzas and burgers to name a few, service was quick and friendly
M. G.
Went for a bite with work colleagues and it was pretty decent. Pizzas were delicious but I gave 4 stars because the servers forgot us a few times and we had to go over to them to order drinks. Other than that it was great.
K. C.
Excellent food and service, mocktails were well made and tasted great.
I had a Vegetarian Burger with fries which was lovely, and my boyfriend had the Texas pizza which he really enjoyed.
Dessert was beautiful, Rhubarb and Ginger crumble for me with ice cream, and Cherry Tart for my boyfriend.
With the Gourmet Society Discount card we got 40% off the bill
B. K.
Interesting pizza toppings related to famous city names. Average options with average price...
K. D.
My partner & I came here last night and we both had pizzas - they were delicious! The base was perfectly thin and crispy and the toppings were perfect. I had the 'Madrid' (chorizo, prawns, roasted red peppers, garlic & mozzarella), which I would go as far as to say was probably my favourite pizza topping of all time! The churros for dessert were also very tasty.
I have only marked the restaurant down because of payment - we used our Meerkat Meals coupon (2-for-1 on mains) but weren't shown a breakdown of the bill when we went to pay, so didn't realise there was a 12.5% service charge added. When we had paid we flagged the price with the waiter as it was much higher than expected, but he'd thrown the breakdown receipt and didn't then explain that a 12.5% discretionary charge had been added. We could have asked for another copy & queried this but we were in a rush to leave and only realised later.

I went here recently with my son and to be honest I was disappointed. I used to come here years ago when it was a new restaurant, and the quality of the pizzas seems to have gone downhill a bit since. It wasn't bad meal, but nothing special and the base was so solid it was hard to cut even with the supplied pizza wheel. My son had the kids menu, which he enjoyed, but I don't think it is really necessary to serve a side of chips with pizza - some veg would have been a better idea. Also the smarties and marshmallows for the kids ice cream were rock solid - they seemed to have been stored in the freezer as they wouldn't have gone that solid from just a few minutes on a bowl of ice cream. It is a shame as I was hoping for a better meal than the standard pizza-pasta restaurants, but it didn't live up to that.
E. O.
Probably 3.5 stars, Happy kids, food came quickly but all together (starters and mains)
Burger was cooked a bit too long for my liking. Pizzas wholesome but strangely have to pay extra to get thin crust.
Free kids meals for halfterm takes it up to 4 stars

When we arrived at 11.45 am, the door was propped open and nobody could understand why we walked in and asked for a table. Apparently they open at noon, although we didn't see any signs saying this and the open doors seemed to indicate they wanted people to come in.
A quarter of an hour later we returned and were greeted separately by four people trying to direct us contradictorily.
Other than that, it was decent. Pizza was nice, chips were disappointing, churros were good and they were happy to substitute caramel sauce instead of Nutella. They were very quick to bring a survey, then very slow to bring a bill.
Very nice-looking place, but the organisation is in need of a lot of work. And for all the effort they put into making tasty pizza, the chips are skinny, floppy McDonald's standard (not good, in my opinion).
Could be improved, but I'd go again if I'm in the area. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to get there, though.
A. C.
How disappointing!
I used to love this place for their innovative pizzas toppings and crispy bases but the last two visits have not been good.
The menu has been reduced down and in my opinion the flavour combinations don't always work resulting in a really unpleasant pizza experience. It's all down to the balance, and this time, it really wasn't there.
The toppings have also been scaled down and there isn't enough to cover the base in places.
Good if you want some quick food late in the evening after a nice beer at the Maple Leaf (next door), but other than that, it's not really worth it any more.

Pizza was great, according to my friends. My pasta, however, left a lot to be desired. Not enough flavor in the sauce, and not enough sauce to go around... So, maybe the recommendation is to just stick with the pizza. The cocktails and mocktails were also fabulous. We had a large group in for a birthday, and they had no problem serving us, even when we arrived at a variety of times.
M. A.
I love this restaurant, the food is always so tasty!! The menu is super varied and they have a few different veggie options. We had starters which were very tatsy and good portion size. The pizzas come very quickly and are piping hot, fresh and so yummy.
The service is always very professional but friendly and efficient. I will deffo visit again.
N. M.
Friendly staff and good service. Menu is broad and something for everyone. We had a vegetarian and celiac in our group. The staffs knowledge on gluten free options wasnt great but we did manage in the end.
Most of our group had pizzas and were happy enough.
I had a burger which arrived in a small, fancy wooden box / tray. The burger was wrapped badly and fell apart meaning I needed to use cutlery to eat it which was almost possible in the box tray thing. A plate would be useful.
On the whole though a pleasant experience.

We had the pre theatre menu last night, booked through the theatre ticket seller. For the price, I was expecting two small, simple courses. We paid less than 12 pounds per person and were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of our dishes. There were sufficient vegetarian options on the shortened menu, which was nice. My partner loved the calamari and both of our pizzas were flavourful and unique. Although cocktails weren't included with the pre paid menu, we each had one and they were very tasty, with a variety of options. Service was efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend the pre theatre option and would also return to try more dishes!
B. F.
Food was really nice and a good mix of pizzas on the menu. The big let down was the service. It was a very quiet day and they was very very slow. They seem to have enough staff working but they all kept disappearing at the same time and wasn't very attentive. The welcome host was very rude and sarcastic when we arrived. I have been here before and had a different experience, so maybe it was just a one off.
M. S.
Great restaurant. Your usual pizza and a lot more interesting options too. Kids menu good. Excellent service and a nice, buzzing atmosphere. Recommended for groups small and large. 11 of us went aged from 2 to 72 went. All really pleased with our visit.
S. K.
The pizzas are quite delicious and they have a bunch of veggie options. It does get very, very, busy. So be prepared to wait, but they do take bookings so I would full on recommend that. The reserved tables are also seem to be in a quieter area of the restaurant. The staff are very attentive, despite it being a very busy and crowded restaurant. Food arrives quickly. Never had a problem here. If your in the area, and in the mood for a pizza with a bunch of toppings, I recommend.
J.
Good quality food and friendly waiters/waitresses, however it is overpriced for what it is and we had to wait over 1 and half hours for a table even though we were told the wait would be 45 minutes. I think the woman at the front desk had not put in our names into the system as she looked perplexed when we returned after 45 minutes to be seated at a table. Unfortunately won't be returning to this place.
S. V.
Great pizza offering unusual combinations of toppings. All cooked to perfection. Large venue suitable for groups yet still perfect for couples. Makes a change from the usual pizza chains that you may usually end up in. I will be back.
S. H.
A great contemporary feeling restaurant. Spacious, spotlessly clean, you can even pop down stairs to see the chefs making their amazing Pizzas. You instinctively know when you are in a great Pizza place the moment you walk in the door, all great Pizza places have an amazing aroma, Fire and Stone smells great. The staff are really attentive and friendly. A really good choice for a tasty informal lunch. The coffee is excellent here too.
J. B.
The pizza was delicious, so good that my one slice of pizza needs its own paragraph. These folks gave me a fresh slice, I mean FRESH just out of the oven. Their pizza doesn't sit on the counter for hours accumulating fly poop. It was a PERFECT blend of cheese and sauce - just right of both. The crust was soft and totally delicious. It may have been one of the best slices I have ever had, in fact. Please eat their pizza, it truly is amazing!

Went here with my partner and my Cousin from abroad on a week night, and it was jam packed! Highly recommend you pre-book if you don’t want to be disappointed. We decided on the Mixed sharing board and calamari to start with between the 3 of us, all very well presented, and very delicious! The menu and pizza’s here are very different and each pizza on the menu is named after a city. We had a pizza each and could not finish it all, the staff were happy to put it in a doggy bag for us to take home, which we gladly accepted. The atmosphere was good but the staff seemed to be run of their feet as we struggled to get their attention to bring us the bill. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area.
P. L.
I haven't been to Fire and Stone for over a year as I felt the quality had started to slip. As a big fan of their unusual topping combinations though, I was happy to give it another try, and I'm glad I did. My pizza was perfectly crisp with a good amount of topping. I also made some changes to a set pizza with no problem. The place is cavernous, but I'd always recommend booking if possible as this branch gets very busy. It also gets toasty warm in there (probably due to the huge clay oven that spans the two floors) - something to keep in mind.
D. C.
Service for us was really fast and good. Food was very disappointing. Pizzas were bland and the dough was very floury, got a ball of raw flour in my mouth. Considering this place has mostly pizzas, you'd expect them to at least get those right. That being said, they were at least better than pizzas you get from supermarkets.
M. C.
I went here on a quiet week night. Place was pretty dead but the inside was light and comfortable. Staff were attentive if not friendly. Pizza was average, desert and wine on offer was great. Would head back when there is more abiance like on a Friday Eve.
C. D.
Pizza was tasty, just difficult to cut. Had to wait a bit for drinks. Staff friendly
S. S.
Visited last week on a fairly busy (but not packed) Wednesday evening. This place is really hit and miss, especially with the service. Initially, it all went well. Our waiter was friendly, and drinks we ordered were very nicely made. Our mains, a pizza and a pasta dish, arrived quickly too. The pizza choices are unique and worth trying; the pasta was tasty, but a bit over-cooked. However, we then decided to order dessert. This took over 20mins to arrive and had gone off. Whilst the waiter happily removed the price from the bill, they automatically slap on a service charge.
I'm giving it 3 stars, because the mains were good, but the service really was well below average (and the service charge was really cheeky and undeserved - if I go again, I will request it is removed).
p.s. We booked through bookatable; they only post positive reviews on their website.
M. S.
There are some strange pizzas on this menu; I tried out of pure curiosity the Peking pizza, which is duck and hoisin sauce with spring onions. Not quite sure why it's a menu staple but oh well. On the upside the service was good when we went, and the baked camembert was well liked!
Plus they accept tastecard/meerkat meals if you mention when booking
L. H.
Place has gone downhill since I went there a few years ago. They've moved away from perfect pizzas to also doing burgers etc. Pizza was underwhelming even with the small £1.50 dip!? Service was quite slow considering it wasn't too busy.
J. F.
The food was very nice, the menu has an extensive choice of pizzas with many different topping combinations. Pizzas were worth the money and arrived hot, but service was very slow! Took a long time to get drinks, food and finally the bill. I would recommend but avoid if you are in a rush to get somewhere afterwards.
j. k.
Came to fire and stone last weekend with my boyfriends. The bottomless prosecco deal is fantastic, it really is as much prosecco as you can drink. The food was also lovely, can't fault it. However, the service is absolutely terrible. One of the waiters was messing around for a good 20 minutes with a group of girls behind us.. They were very noisy and the manager didn't even ask them to be quiet. We finally got served however it took ages for them to come back and ask if we wanted anything else of if we wanted the bill. We got the bill and 10 minutes later no one had come to ask if we wanted to pay. I stood up and went to the bar and asked to pay to which a man just pointed at a waitress. When i asked the waitress if I could pay, she said to the waiter who was serving us "oooooo shes angry" in a really sarcastic tone. Although the food was brilliant and the restaurant was a nice lay out, the service ruined it.
N. K.
We had my 7 year olds Birthday at the restaurant on 01st Dec 13, good choice as it kept all the kids and grownups happy, Wow, what a varied choice of pizzas and made tasty too especially the thin Italian ones like you get in Tuscany. The staffs were all incredibly attentative and accommodating especially as they had to worked around our needs (1/4 of our group arrived very late) and were very welcoming throughout. Overall our experience was very good and we will be back to try out the other world location pizzas. Many thanks for an exceedingly enjoyable evening.
T. N.
Nice food and very reasonable at 50% off through tastecard. Atmosphere picked up a bit towards the later half of the meal (20.30 ish on a Thursday night) but lots of tables free also. It was a bit frustrating as when we tried to book online it only had availability from 20.15 when we arrived at 19.30 it was only half full.
J. M.
The selection of pizzas on offer was a touch unusual, but everything we tried was surprisingly tasty. Not sure any of them were better than tried and tested toppings, but it was certainly a refreshing change. Using a taste card made it very affordable too.
J. Q.
A fantastic restaurant. The menu is very well thought out with the pizza toppings branded around cities and places of the world. I found this a great way of navigating the menu and choosing my pizza. The surroundings are excellent too. Very well decorated and comfortable. There iis even a giant gold plated pizza oven/stove which is a centre piece.
Y. L.
The pizzas are creative and venue is huge. However the food can be slightly bland and the service was a bit slow on the two occasions I've been. Having said that though. Will definitely go back as the food was good and the location perfect.
J. C.
Interesting Pizzas with wide mix of toppings named after great cites around the World. I think some toppings work better than others, but this is of course a very personal thing.
Great service, big smiles meet you when you come thought the door.
Not 1st class food, but a very interesting take on the Pizza - can get very busy (Covent Garden)
D. H.
Bit if a mix up to start as our Opentable reservation failed to go through, however the staff were extremely helpful and had a table sorted for us in no time.
The pizzas were amazing! (My girlfriend and I decided upon the Marrakech and Mumbai). As were the wine and pudding we chose
Would definitely return and highly recommend for anyone dining in the area
S. M.
I haven't got the words to say how amazing this place is. This young manager helped us out when we were in a very difficult situation. Feeling very stressed and unable to arrive at our destination he helped us by securing our suitcases, rang our hotel and took us to our theatre. He refused our tip and insisted that his help was payment enough. Thank you good sir for your help. Love, John and Flo from Ireland.
BTW. Food is great, highly recommended.
S. D.
Decent menu, with some unusual toppings for the pizzas (read it as: "if you go to Italy you can't find that selection of toppings") but I guess it's ok for the UK/US taste. Try the "polenta chips" for something different! Staff looked to be always in a rush, trying to ask us if we wanted to order even when we wanted to chill out a bit and enjoy the course before ordering more.
J. D.
Nice friendly welcome. Excellent food served quickly. Great for pre theater eats!
G. M.
Service is good , they really looked after us.... My friends loved the difference pizzas and we all loved the sharing platter as a starter.... I am more of a traditional pizza lover myself but it never stop me trying different variations....the desert was to die for the caramel center was really good 👍...
A. K.
My biggest dilemma at this restaurant was what do I chose?? There is such a tempting selection of original pizzas, with weird and wonderful combination of toppings. I decided to go for the Peking and that was a GREAT choice. I absolutely loved it. The restaurant itself had a good atmosphere, the staff were relatively attentive, the onyl critism is the tables were very close together.
R. M.
I'm from Chicago land of gut busting cheese bomb pizza. Not sure it relates to my ability to gauge good pizza but whatever. This place is very good. Thin crust is chewey which is essential. Lisbon pizza was really nice. Reasonably priced wine was excellent. Decor and atmosphere five stars. Deducted 1 star perhaps a bit more salt
J. D.
The food was nice. I would go back again as long as I wasn't sat in the middle or by the door. This visit, my friends and I were seated in the middle of the restaurant where the massive draft from the front door that would attack our table every 10 minutes. We had to put our coats back on! Also, the backgorund music was too loud. We struggled to hear what the waitress was saying at times. AND only one track was repeated for the whole evening which started to get annoying.
M. B.
Excellent atmosphere, decor and service. The menu is quite quirky in terms of toppings for the pizzas but you will not be disappointed, been then several times with nothing but positive feedback. Great all around.
N. U.
Creative menu in terms of naming pizzas after international cities however the pizzas were not very exciting once they arrived and sadly not many toppings. Not in a hurry to return. It seemed like a good place for families with children though.
J. G. S.
Lovely place where you can sit and enjoy a fabulous pizza made by a stone oven. The prices are fair, they aren't so expensive but either cheap. The waitress are also very nice and specially the Spanish and Italian ones. I really recommend to visit this place where you are having a stroll around Covent Garden.
J. H.
The interior is not so welcoming, but still you can have a nice lunch or dinner there. I like their pizzas a lot and recommend you to go in this restaurant.
I've read in one article recently that the pizza should not be defined as a junk food. It was written that the eating of pizza can reduce the level of heart attacks. This new is a quite exciting one for me and I'll continue ordering pizza, for sure. Of course, I have to keep my membership in the gym, because I don't want to gain some extra weight for the summer.
J. D.
On paper the pizza looked interesting and quirky. But once we got them there wasnt much very difference between a regular pepperoni or meat feast that u would get anywhere else. But it was still enjoyable and the staff were nice and attentive
A. B.
Two years ago I loved this place - interesting pizzas with creative toppings. I particularly enjoyed the Peking and the Melbourne.
Returning for lunch a year ago, I was disappointed by the unbalanced and unseasoned toppings that were bland and rushed.
Now, with a revised and greatly simplified menu, the pizzas are boring, the toppings almost non-existent, and the whole thing just feels flat, plain, mass-market, and incredibly overpriced.
You had me, but you lost me.
If you absolutely must come here, hang around Covent Garden tube station to see if there's anyone handing out two-for-one coupons to try to soften the blow at the end of your meal.
K. S.
Outstanding pizza and top service!
The food is amazing and at a good price.
Simone is without a doubt the nicest server I have ever had. Really made my day to see a friendly face.
J. L.
Had 50% off with a taste card and the food was good for the price we paid but would have been a bit of a rip off at full price.
The service wasn’t great. Slow despite empty and on two occasions coming here in the space of a week they got our order wrong on both occasions.
That said, love the style of the venue but not sure I’ll return.

Hidden away in the streets of Covent Garden I have found my go-to pizza haven. Simply put, Fire & Stone make cool pizzas - pizzas that are somewhat out-of-the-ordinary, with a weird and wonderful selection of toppings. I discovered it the other day, and have since been back twice to show it off to my other pizza-loving friends.
Having waxed lyrical about pizza, it is worth mentioning that Fire & Stone do offer other things (salads, pastas etc.), but you should really try the pizza. Look out for their 2 pizzas for £12 deal that can be found online, or more often that not there is someone around Covent Garden handing out vouchers.

First things first, this is the sort of pizza place that's more of a flat-bread style pizza than a pizza-style pizza. A lot of the pizzas don't have a tomato base (these aren't labelled) and the dough has a parmesan crust. The crust has too much flour on the bottom, leading to lost of white dust being brushed off.
They have a good range of toppings, some of which have great combinations (I had a Copenhagen, which has roast butternut squash, blue cheese and roasted pumpkin seeds), they're pretty flavourful and the sizes are reasonable-- one each. They're good, but not special-- basically, an alternative to going to Pizza Express or some place similar.
M. K.
This Pizza restaurant situated in covent garden is great, has a great selection of pizzas with topping combinations from all over the world even having black pudding on a pizza 'amazing'. the decor is great with a dark restaurant with a big pizza oven as the backdrop. the pricing is great also not too expensive and the service is great
T. M.
You will be amazed by the variety of meals. Try the Peking with crispy duck, I like the mozzarella and the fresh onions. If I have to be honest the mozzarella is one of my favourite ingredients, it is semi- soft and tasty. This meal is not a cheap one, but actually it deserves its price.
R. D.
Makes a change from the mainstream pizza chains. Ambience great, pizza great too. Had no problems with service. Look for vouchers being handed out in Covent Garden to make the bill a little more palatable.
A.
Come here if you like all things basic and bland. The flavourless pesto pasta was nearly £12, worth a fiver max if you ask me, and the tunes they pumped out were something you’d hear at a nightclub.
K. H.
No food intolerances menu. I had to rely on the managers word to say that my options would be dairy free. Made me a little bit nervous and couldn't relax into my meal. The food was delicious mind.
J. W.
The big brass oven in the centre of this restaurant is a draw and it's pizza bases are thin, crispy and light. The toppings offered are more unusual and perhaps not to everyone's tastes and it has some stiff competition from the other restaurants on Ariel Way. Reasonably priced, good service and quiet.
C. C.
Ok, so it's not cheap but this is a different Pizza place with a great choice of Pizzas, some of which are unusual. Even though the place was packed the service was good and the pizzas were great.
k. T.
Food was ok...served wine which was warm ..not good. Given 3 stars as we did have a nice waiter !
S. E.
Fantastic and interesting pizza choice, and absolutely delicious! Happily recommend to pizza lovers who like something a bit different (as well as the classics).
M. S.
Brilliant city themed pizzas with an interesting combination of toppings. Good service in a casual setting.
C. O.
Burger was fine though I ordered medium and it was cooked through. Staff it felt like we were bothering them by being there.
G. H.
Staff were friendly and nice, food was overall meh. Calamari was good, pizza didn't have real mozzarella and the tomato sauce on it wasn't good quality.
L. D.
Nice restaurant, food was basic but tasty, waitress was friendly and helpful. I had pre theatre menue which I felt didn't give that much choice. Would still go again.
A. G.
Fire and Stone serve the strangest pizza's you'll ever come across - and they're all Delicious!!! Just imagine a tagine on a pizza! Or a curry on a pizza! (It's not quite what you'd expect, but it's brilliant. Very well worth a try! It works - trust me.
S. G.
Brill food at fair price and good atmosphere
H. B.
Had a lovely pizza nice fun menu. Staff were pleasent. It was quite dark. Service charge was added automatically.

We’ve just had another round of redundancies happen at work and last week was time to say goodbye to one of my favourite colleagues which really, really sucks. As part of her farewell though we headed out for lunch at Fire & Stone an excellent little Italian tucked away behind Covent Garden.
One thing that always amazes me about restaurants in this area is the size. They usually look pretty small from the outside and then somehow manage to be totally huge inside, either because they go underground or they’re deceptively long. Fire & Stone falls into the latter camp and once you go up the stairs the seating area stretches out ahead of you.
My colleague had booked using a TasteCard which gave us 50% off food so we went for two courses; a starter and a main. As it was lunchtime I just had a soft drink but the cocktails here look delicious too.
I can’t resist anything with Parma ham so had the Brie & Parma Ham Bruschetta to start. Melted brie, Parma ham with onion jam, pesto & rocket on crusty bread. Mmmm… it’s quite a big portion but every bite was delicious. I especially loved whatever dressing was drizzled over the salad which is saying something as I usually hate dressing.
For main I had to have one of their weird and wonderful pizzas. No pepperoni or Hawaiian pizzas here oh no. Each of these bad boys represents the signature dish of a different city with toppings as varied as roast potatoes, chilli & lime prawns and avocado. I’m a sucker for avocado on pretty much everything so chose the Lisbon as my main dish. Peri Peri chicken, avocado, mozzarella, onions, sweetcorn, chilli & coriander.
So, so good. This was one of the best pizzas I think I’ve ever had in London. The chicken had a kick to it without being too spicy and the avocado helped cool things down but it was very filling and I couldn’t finish it, leaving two slices on the plate.
With discount it cost us £12.66 each which was amazing value. I’ve checked their website and they have amazing deals on a daily basis even if you don’t have a TasteCard including their £6.95 lunch deal, their pre-theatre menu and two pizzas for just £12! Definitely somewhere to check out.
M. C.
Usually come with friends for the pizza - which is usually really good! And relatively affordable for students as well, especially with 2-for-1 vouchers. Nice relaxing atmosphere away from most of the hustle of Westfield.
B. I.
Atmosphere good, service good, presentation good. Food quality actually not so good. Bolognese pasta over cooked. The pizza sauce and pasta sauce tasted like they had cheap pre made sauces in, ketchup like.
A. V. C.
I went there to celebrate my birthday with a large group of friends. I saw an offer in a website and I thought it would be a good idea to go there. First of all don´t go there with a group of people because you need to pre-book exactly the number of attendees. They say that if one person doesn´t come you have to pay around £10 extra per person. Therefore, it made very difficult for me to calculate how many people will come and I had to book for less. At the end, more people than I expected came so we found ourselves in a crowded table looking like sardines in a can. The food I have to recognise it is really good. Pizzas, antipasti, desserts and cocktails are offered for reasonable prices.
S. R.
Was there today as a part of the theater + dinner for two package.
Positives:
-they accomodated our request to change the reservation from evening dinner to lunch at short notice.
-pizza articula (not sure of the name) was a good creative suprise with minced meat, topping of cream and guacamole.
Negatives:
-rigatoni not al dente.
-wine overtly expensive at 5.50 a small glass
-as part of the package the menu card is very limited and they make you look for extras.
-billing was a bit shody not once but twice.
-since we had to pay only for the drinks our bill came to 11.00. They slapped a service charge of 1.28. I left 13.50 on the check. The waiter never came back with the difference. Did he just assume I over tipped him?
L. O.
Pizzas were fantastic, but we were in a group and they brought some of the food out over 20 minutes after the first food was brought out. They also ran out of some of the desserts which was a shame. Staff were friendly but appeared too busy to help with the late food.
E. F.
Fire & Stone is my favourite restaurant in the neighbourhood. The food is so good It will melt in your mouth and the prices are pretty fair. The only thing I don't like about this place is that the service can be really slow during peak hours. However It's still a must visit place.
J. D.
Really un-usual pizza choices - and that's a good thing. It's the place to go for an interesting variety of pizzas. Having said that, i had some combinations that personally don't work either, so if you are unsure of the ingredients on the pizzas, trust your tastebuds and pick something else. Pizzas can be on the small side.
J. c.
Busy restaurant......food good and waiting staff lovely. However the meet and greet lady on the door was very miserable and abrupt + we had to wait a long time despite having booked a table.....not a good start but restaurant much better than that.
T. D.
Amazing experience! Quick and welcoming service. The food was delicious, the service was quick and all in all a very nice quiet with relaxing music but is also very popular and has a great customer service. Would defo go again!
S. S.
One of my favourite restaurants for a quick lunch back in 2006 - since then they have (understandably) increased prices and (not understandably) changed the original amazing recipe. Still, I have always loved the geographic menu (think a curry twist for India, duck for China etc) and giant stone-bake oven downstairs.
M. K.
Food was good and tasty, with a large selection - especially for vegetarians!
The main let down was the very long wait times between courses (30-40 mins), coupled with waiters who forgot orders on two occasions.
N. V.
Love the food but hate the wait! Also a shame they don't do the Koh Samui pizza anymore! Fantastic restaurant with a great atmosphere and excellent service. Amazing menu with enough choice to make you come back.
R. G.
Not great value for money. The food is pretty good but it's expensive for what it is. I had a burger and a beer, and my partner had a pizza and a beer and it was £50. The food was good but again wasn't anything special
Z. R.
I have been here only once. It seems very popular. Prices are reasonable as far as I remember. Staff was very friendly but I must say that I do prefer less toppings on my pizza.
J. S.
Lightning fast service, delicious food and friendly staff made for a fantastic dining experience. It may seem a little cramped, but still a very comfortable dining experience, with the staff doing an excellent job - even with the 60+ school kids dining at the same time! A cracking pre-theatre eating spot!
D. W.
Went here for the valentines special deal which was reasonably priced, nice atmosphere, great staff and great location. The food wasn't great, average at best and expected a bit better, the burgers were dry and overcooked.
K. A.
Located right next to Covent Garden, this little gem of a pizza place has some seriously interesting pies - we had an Indian pizza, complete with chutney and raita and perfectly wood-fired. Drinks were good as well, and for a pizza place, it had a nice, dark, kind of romantic atmosphere, with just a low buzz of conversation.
J.
Great food, relaxed informal atmosphere. Mulled cider was great!
K. C.
Came with 2 friends after work for dinner. I expected a usual pizza express, ask, prezoo kinda place but this was better. The range of pizzas on offer, coupled with the fact that they were unique made it 100x better. I didn't see the usual pollo picante or spicy beef pizza, just one from major cities around the world eg. London sausage and Spanish prawns and chorizo. Nice atmosphere for a sit down and chat dinner.
G. H.
Staff were friendly and nice, food was overall meh. Calamari was good, pizza didn't have real mozzarella and the tomato sauce on it wasn't good quality.
L. C.
Excellent value for money on bottomless processco deal. Could say best one I Have been to. They give you a bottle at a time no waiting to be filled up. Great food as well.
A. G.
Fire and Stone serve the strangest pizza's you'll ever come across - and they're all Delicious!!! Just imagine a tagine on a pizza! Or a curry on a pizza! (It's not quite what you'd expect, but it's brilliant. Very well worth a try! It works - trust me.
D. G.
Had a great meal today! We had the Mumbai, Naples and Melbourne we all really enjoyed. Service was excellent! Will definitely be going back!
A. C.
Fantastic pizzas, really friendly staff. Different to the standard chain pizza restaurants. Well worth a visit. I'm glad I booked a table too; it was busy!
C. C.
Ok, so it's not cheap but this is a different Pizza place with a great choice of Pizzas, some of which are unusual. Even though the place was packed the service was good and the pizzas were great.
L. D.
Nice restaurant, food was basic but tasty, waitress was friendly and helpful. I had pre theatre menue which I felt didn't give that much choice. Would still go again.
C. G.
Nice Place, good for pre theatre visit. Waiter Richard excellent customer service and the Manager for sorting out pizza for us. My sister and I were enjoying a birthday trreat
J. F.
Food was nice but the first two waiting staff were very negligent. The manager was very accommodating and helpful when he realised the issues we were having.
E. M.
Brilliantly innovative pizzas (think broccoli, roast potatoes, peaking duck etc). Delicious, fire cooked. Their desert chocolate calzone is just amazing!
R. B.
Fire and Stone specialise in out of the ordinary pizzas, pizzas with potato, Hoi Sin sauce, duck, steak and a whole variety of other bizarre pizzas.
If you like the idea of exciting different pizzas you'll love fire and stone.
If you like traditional Italian pizzas - you definitely won't.
This is a standard Fire and Stone, so if you've been to one before you'll get exactly what you expect.
S. S.
Fantastic! Kids love it too :-)
K. K.
Food is great and the service was absolutely outstanding. Highly recommended if you want a quick pizza.
C. R.
Better pizzas than other fire and stone (esp the Oxford one). Extremely busy at peak times, be prepared to wait some time for your food. The room you eat in is huge and very noisy.
S. K.
Excellent customer service. Their pizzas are awesome and I love the toppings they offer. Definitely recommend a visit and in a great location
M. G.
A bit of a wait shouldn't worry you as it is a sign that the food is good. It was for us and we still made it to the theatre. Will go again if we are in London.
D. G.
Arranged a surprise party for my son's 18th here. Organisation was superb - Ellie was very helpful. Lots of comments that the food was good and they had a good evening.
S. E.
Fantastic and interesting pizza choice, and absolutely delicious! Happily recommend to pizza lovers who like something a bit different (as well as the classics).
k. T.
Food was ok...served wine which was warm ..not good. Given 3 stars as we did have a nice waiter !
P. C. T.
Not cheap but a very cool place in Covent Garden. I went here with my colleagues in the company Xmas do and it was cool. The pizzas are good, as well the calamari and brownie. A good place.
I. F.
I've visited this place on more than one occasion, food's great, staff are friendly and service is quick. Just what you need for a pre Theatre dinner
S. H.
Been here a couple of times now
They are part of a food and theatre package (guess what part😃)
We are in our 50's but didn't feel alienated - the mix of customers is good although really the younger generation if better represented
The staff are good, friendly and efficient
The food is good for the price tasty and freshly prepared
Drinks are good and reasonable price for the position of the place - west end
The place is spacious but can be a little loud at times
The place is clean and tidy
What's not to like - give it a go
Leave tips in money otherwise management get it whilst doing nothing - just my bug bear I'm afraid - reward those who do the work !
L. M.
Visited early evening on a Friday in the school holidays so was surprised that there was no wait for a table. Service was a little slow but the food was very good and the price was around what should be expected in London.
J. A.
Food was ok, thought pizza was a little overdone. Service a bit lacking considering it wasnt busy.
B. P.
Didn't like the reception. Waiter takes tooooooooo long to get your order and you wait a life to get your food. But I like the decoration and the food was good at least
C. O.
Burger was fine though I ordered medium and it was cooked through. Staff it felt like we were bothering them by being there.
J. P.
Some might call them weird, others interesting but the toppings here made this for me - different to your other pizza chains and good to visit with a group.
B. T.
The most delicious pizza I have ever tasted. Really good one. I wish it was closer to home, so I can go there more often.
S. C.
This is a nice place, has a modern feel to it. The staff are very friendly and good at banter. Food is reasonable price and tasty. Christmas meal is reasonably priced too.
A.
This place is just great. We had such an amazing waitress who was just great. She did the place proud. The food was delicious and for such decent prices
K. K.
Girlfriend and I really love the place, food is great and like the atmosphere. Funky pizzas and delightful chicken wings!
M. R.
Pizza was good, service was fine, sadly typical London prices which always shock me
M. H.
Awesome pizza.....as always. They were very busy but squeezed us in. Much appreciated. Love this place.
S. M.
A great venue for pre or post theatre dining. Food was good, service was prompt and friendly. Only minutes walk from major theatres.
T. W.
I recommend you to go there, but first of all- you should make a reservation! The last time I was waiting for a table. However, the meals are delicious and you're going to love not only the offered food, but the friendly staff and the welcoming atmosphere of this place.
J. G.
Very good food. Nice surrounding.
M. S.
Great food, really tasty and good service
M. K.
Food was good and tasty, with a large selection - especially for vegetarians!
The main let down was the very long wait times between courses (30-40 mins), coupled with waiters who forgot orders on two occasions.
R. R.
Great menu and reasonably priced with good vegetarian options
M. S.
A bit pricey but to be expected. It is in a tourist trap. On the plus side on Monday it was nice and quiet and if you have a taste card you can get 50 per cent off on food.
V. K.
Good range of different types of pizzas but pricy
N. V.
Love the food but hate the wait! Also a shame they don't do the Koh Samui pizza anymore! Fantastic restaurant with a great atmosphere and excellent service. Amazing menu with enough choice to make you come back.
T.
Good price for central London, friendly staff. Try their brownies, worth going just for them
s. a.
Great service, staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a tastecard, so was great value for money. Food was good.
L.
Great pizzas, lovely staff. Highly recommend the peking duck pizza. Sounds odd but it really worked!
D. R.
Fantastic wood oven pizza, terrific salads, and burgers too. Busy in the evenings, great place for lunch.
M. S.
Brilliant city themed pizzas with an interesting combination of toppings. Good service in a casual setting.
S. W.
We asked for tap water but we were given bottled water that ended up costing FOUR POUND FIFTY, are yous messing? Food was lovely.
D. B.
Good value menu and food was ok but nothing to shout about. Considering how quiet it was service was below average.
H. W.

D. C.
Great food and friendly informative staff. Great location!
Try the hoisin duck thin and crispy pizza!
R. F.
Mediocre pizza. Tasted more like a cracker or water biscuit with a few drops of ketchup and smattering of tasteless cheese on top. Over priced. Staff friendly.
Y. L.
Very nice pizza! Staff was attentive and friendly too :)
A. K.
Good but not great. Interesting combination of toppings, but the quality of the overall pizza is just not there...
D. S.

Good food but make sure you have booked in advance as it is usually pretty crowded
C. D.
Good food, great cocktails, prompt service however be aware that service charge is added automatically to your bill
A. R.
Good Pizza
Good Mocktail but overly watered down and expensive
Music is too loud and thumping
D. C.
Pleasant atmosphere, friendly efficient staff. Food fairly average and expensive for what it is
M. M. B.
Looks exactly the same for many years now and it is not as busy as it used to be. Pizza is good.

Great service and very good pizzas. Worth a visit
R. S.
Nice place, pizzas were a bit ridiculous-if you prefer standard pizza then maybe not here, good quality was great-but the pizzas on offer seem a bit weird
S. S.
Food and menu was varied and tasty. Service wasn't brilliant, despite not being too busy.
G. B.
Very popular restaurant, great atmosphere and good food for reasonable money. I will no doubt be back soon!
P. B.
How can they try to force service charge on a drink that I went up to the bar to get and pay for myself? Bizarrre. Otherwise, not bad at all.
J. M.
Currently working through all the varieties of pizza! The Zermatt (Swiss) is my fave!
