Reviews of Firebrand Pizza
J.
This was an amazing restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. Both the pasta and the pizzas we had were amazing, and arrived very quickly. The tiramisu and the cappuccino were particularly delicious in my opinion. It also has a lovely vibe. I would definitely come back here.

First time try for Valentine’s Day.
We arrived around 3 and the restaurant was empty. We were directly welcomed by a really nice and joyful waitress.
The menu is really easy to understand! We ordered drinks, starters, pizzas and desert. The quality of the food is amazing. The pizzas are hot, fresh, light and full of cheese, salad, vegetables… there’s nice music and clean surroundings.
Again, the waitress was really nice and helpful. We felt really comfortable and not rushed at all.
The only thing would be the price, which is a bit high up, but can be justified by these beautiful and tasty pizzas. 100% recommend!!!!
H.
Visited over 4 times. Very nice pizza. Only criticism is that tables were always sticky.
Z. A.
Fantastic food that always comes very quick and tastes great. It’s always very quiet, making this place a hidden gem.
R. O.
Delicious Roman pizza (thin and crispy). So fresh, highly recommended.
T. C.
Stopped here for a quick bite. Perfect choice! Great service. Pizza was delicious. Arrived quickly, hot and fresh. Would recommend and come again if I wanted a pizza in the area! Was super quiet compared to Pizza Express around the corner, most likely quicker and definitely more personal. Only photo I can add is of an empty plate which says it all!
M. D.
One of my go to places when I am craving for a pizza or pasta. Everything is consistently good. Highly recommend!
s. b.
A lovely cosy place, great food, and outstanding service by the great Nicol (5+ stars to her) . A nice easy-going retro feel with decor that has character. We ordered two desserts to finish the night with - stunning. Tiramisu was exceptional, it’s a shame I only got to have a smidgen as my guest seems to have down the lot in a blink of an eye! Do visit if you’re passing :)
T. A.
Good pizza is all about the base for me, and these guys really nail that authentic Italian style pizza base. The ingredients that went on top were also top notch, had some proper fat pepperoni on mine. Fantastic food and great, friendly service.
B. L.
Fantastic pizza, authentic Neapolitan ingredients and great skills make it one of the best pizzas I’ve had in London, credits to the pizzaiolo Francesco!
J. N.
I was in the area and looking for a bite to eat, pizza seemed like a fine idea, but the restaurant had just opened for the day and was deadly quiet - never a good sign.
Fortunately I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza here. The base was thin, light and crisp. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. I also drizzled over some of the chilli oil (beware - it's potent!) and the rosemary oil both helped to amp up and elevate the flavours.
My only sore point is the service, not the friendliest, but somewhat efficient.

Firebrand Pizza is right around the corner from Marylebone Station - we found it looking for a place to eat before heading to Twickenham. Perfect location. The window is dominated by an awesome looking wood fired pizza oven. We arrived just before opening, so it was pretty quiet when we ate, and the team were really attentive and helpful. 2 Italian lagers I havent tried before - both excellent.
The pizzas were really great - some classics and also some unusual flavour combinations (sweet potato on a pizza - who knew??) but obviously high quality ingredients, and perfectly judged quantities. I added some extra nduja to my pizza - perfect....
the dough they use tastes great - delicious crusts with great bite and chew. All 3 of us who ate have our own pizza ovens, and make our own doughs, and we all agreed that these were some of the best we've tasted. Would definitely go back.

Excellent food
Great tasting food, fast service. Ingredients are really the key to the flavoursome food. We went as a family- the kids ate everything on their plate. Pizzas are brilliant, Calamari cooked and seasoned just right and the pasta was al dente and packed with flavour.
N. A. A.
Cozy olace with amazing pizza, pasta and dessert. The staff were very accomdating by making a special pasta for my vegeterian friends who loves white sauce pasta which turned out great! My pizza was from the menu and its one of the best I ever had. The dessert was wonderful as well
As for the service they were very nice and very very fast. Everything about this restaurant is just perfect.
G. R.
A few quality beers in the Globe next door then topped off with the best pizza that I've had in a long time. Hands down. Highly highly recommend Firebrand
J. M.
Tasty, hot, freshly made wood fired pizza, cozy low key atmosphere and a handy location right next to Marylebone Station! Freindly staff were able to accommodate us on a tight time scale and get the food out quick as we had a train to catch!
R. C.
A nice sourdough pizza. Lovely soft crusts and plenty of flavour. Fresh ingredients but maybe a little under seasoned.
I. R.
One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! And flexibility around the ingredients is impressive as well, thank you guys!
E. B.
I was positively surprised by the quality of the pizza and of its ingredients. The place is not big, so it is better to give them a ring if planning to go on a busy night. Staff is very nice and polite. Service is quick, although it was not busy when I went. Overall, a positive experience and a good pizza
M. A.
A great place for a pizza or pasta dish. Friendly and efficient staff, lovely food and a great ambience. Prices are reasonable for London. Will definitely return.
N. H.
Really fantastic pizza. Perfect base and flavours. Hidden gem in London. Definitely come here if you’re considering it.
M. C.
The service and the pizza was good but I actually wanted a non spicy pizza with salami but instead I got a spicy pizza. Therefore I was a bit disappointed. But I can recommend the restaurant ;)
G. E.
Great sourdough pizza, great value for money, portions were massive. Really liked the relaxed vibe!
K. N.
Went in for lunch before a meeting. Limited options in the area but this place was a great find. Walked in and it was pretty busy. Relatively small place and tight seating arrangement but they seated me reasonably quickly. I can imagine that it gets pretty busy in the evening so recommend calling ahead.
Ordered the “Aubergine, Courgette, Mushroom, Peppers, Tomato, Mozzarella”. It was made quickly and came out fast. However, I’m not sure I found any Courgette on the pizza!! With that said the pizza was good. The crust was not thin but not too thick, it tasted good, was crispy on the outside and charred on the wood fired oven, soft inside. Cheese was decent as was the sauce. Overall decent pizza, quick and efficient service.
I. C.
Walked pass this place. Feel hungry and wanna have a pizza. Service is amazing.Francesco cooked me the Spianata Calabrese pizza. Absolutely delicious, feel like I’m in Italy. Highly recommended.
p. c.
Good pizzas and wine, the calamari starter was very good
A. T.
Delicious pizza at a reasonable price. I especially liked the fish one.
V. J.
Amazing food and even more amazing service. The tiramisu especially was delicious! The best I have ever had. And the basil pesto carbonara 🤤
K. N.

Absolutely the best pizza I've tasted in the UK! You will not be disappointed 🍕

No other pizza compares to this one. Must try!
M. C.
The service and the pizza was good but I actually wanted a non spicy pizza with salami but instead I got a spicy pizza. Therefore I was a bit disappointed. But I can recommend the restaurant ;)
M. S.
Very nice place
M. L.
Amazing pizza, not many tables but cosy and charming.

My compliment to Francesco the Pizza chef 👏

Great food and atmosphere and great staff! It was our first time here in Clerkenwell, but we were so well looked after and really enjoyed the food and service. On top of it, they are big dogs' fans so this will definitely be our must go place from now on ! Highly recommend it for a true Italian experience :)
K. S.
I have never wrote a review so quickly after leaving a place but felt this deserved it. Fantastic food, wonderful staff and a lovely setting. The greatest bit is seeing the chef in the window before you even walk into the place cooking the pizza! Will definitely be returning again and again!
r. c.
I ordered for delivery 2 pizzas at the Marleybone restaurant. They were both very delicious🥰Customer service was also implacable: they didn’t have one ingredient, they called me to apologise and to tell me that the cook can make for me any other pizza, if I wanted that. They also sent me 2 beers as a surprise gift🥰🥰 Thank you!!! You are amazing!!!✨
A. P.
Lovely pizza and deserts and the waitress serving us was very pleasant. The only issue was that we were made to wait until a table become available even though half the restaurant seemed empty! But otherwise nice place for lunch.
M. M.
I take pizza very seriously and I must say this place prepares excellent pizza true to the Italian tradition. Tasty dough, crispy on the outside and tender inside, wonderfully charred on the wood fired oven, just the right amount of toppings, superb! Will be coming back for more soon!
M. L.
Amazing pizza, not many tables but cosy and charming.
T. d. W.
Fantastic pizzas, great vibe, well priced
N. L.
The margherita pizza is to die for. The sauce is incredible and simple, and the drizzle a delicious oil on top that brings together the high quality cheese and basil. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
H. W.
We are regular visitors to this delightful pizzeria. The food and service are always top notch and my kids love to watch the pizzas being thrown around and cooked in the wood fired oven! Great family experience which I highly recommend!
R. R.
Francesco is making pizzas since he is 12 in Puglia under the tutelage of his Dad. No wonder this is now the best pizzeria in London. Don't be fooled by the outside. It's great. And the staff is so sweet. Rose is so warm and kind. Five plus 🌟 s. Splendido. Rick
S. A.
Nice friendly Staff and helpful first place in the world where they offered Not to put cheese on the Pizza or just a sprinkle. Thin, just the way I like it. Real flavours This is a must to do place in London. Was back again 19th December. Glad to see it's still the same, Fantastic! Well done guys keep those flavour going. Hope to see you again in Summer 2019
K. I.
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, quick service. While I'll eat any type of pizza you put in front of me, I'm partial to thin crust and this place serves gorgeous crispy sourdough crust pizzas. Their anchovy pizza is delicious.
D. B.
Lovely cosy ambience. Amazingly thin crust, tasty wood fired oven pizzas made with fresh quality ingredients. Service is friendly. Prices reasonable for Marylebone.
They don’t accept gourmet society cards anymore (for 50% off food) which is a bummer. But still recommend the pizza here.
M. M.
My girlfriend wanted some pizza on a Sunday night and originally we were going to collect from Domino's. After looking at Google maps to see if there was anything else in the area we decided to try Firebrand, as we'd walked past it many times. We were very glad we decided to visit here instead.
The apple juice is delicious and freshly pressed. We had some olives as a light starter and then a pizza each before finishing with a tiramisu to share. The pizza were great with some nice variety to choose from. They're similar in style to Franco Manca but better, in my opinion.
The staff were friendly and attentive. Given that it's so local to us, we look forward to returning soon.
H. K.
Great pizzas - We stopped here for a late lunch...it was quiet at that time, so service was super quick. The crust was thin and crispy, very tasty. Not the cheapest, but all good and worth it. Guy in charge was very friendly.
C.
Great little Italian restaurant with delicious dishes. We enjoyed a couple of their pizzas, pastas, bruschetta, and garlic bread all of which were great (although the garlic bread was a little plain for my liking). The service was not overly friendly but otherwise faultless.
J. M.
Firebrand pizza is a traditional wood fired pizza house. Their pizza come with unique toppings. The restaurant is cozy and so it’s advisable to book if you are a group bigger than 4. The staff are friendly and flexible with orders.
D. C.
After a long day of work we had pizzas from Firebrand and they were delicious! We only had to wait 10 minutes to get our takeaway ready and the waiter was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was great so next time we'll definitely dine in!
E. A.
Friendly staff and great pizza! We enjoyed both of our pizzas. One had pesto, roast potatoes, rosemary, pine nuts, and mozzarella and the other had spicy salami, roasted peppers, rocket, mozzarella, and tomato. We paired our pizzas with the Sangiovese, which was quite delicious.
M. D.
Great service. Very tasty pizzas and you get to eat very fast as soon as you order. The restaurant is not very big so I would recommend you call first before you go. Highly recommended!
G. E.
Superb pizza. What more needs to be said?
S. G.
The food was delicious; authentic Italian cooked in a brick pizza oven. The service was also excellent. The deserts were really great especially the chocolate fondant.🙂
S. D. F.
Excellent service and quality food.
My compliment to Francesco the Pizza chef 👏
D.
Very good pizza, service was great as well. The waitress was lovely and very patient with all our requests.
K. E.
You don't find many 5.0 star ratings on Google Maps, but this place is deserving! Great pizza, pasta and wine. For the health conscious, the quinoa salad and fresh-pressed juice are fantastic.
H. K.
Just off Marylebone station me and my wife stumbled upon this Pizza place and we had some time to kill before our train.
But what an amazing find it has been the Pizza dough is nothing like we had tasted before. We order "Parma Ham, Tomato, Fresh Buffalo Mozzarella" and other bit n pieces to go with it. It was delicious, the base was light and the Parma n mozzarella were mouth watering.
We now make it a point to meet up there once a week and try different pizzas on the menu, before we head home.
This place is a must try.
S. W.
Find this whilst staying near Baker St and wow what a find. Rate the pizza in my top 3 ever! Absolutely loved it, delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommended.
M. C.
Pizza was delicious. The staff was very friendly.
Great company of friends
Absolutely loved my evening there
C. G.
Lovely place to eat with great quality food. The awesome staff really made the place for me. They clearly love families and young children. They took our 4yo daughter into the kitchen to watch her pizza being made.
M. M.
Just popped here for a quick early dinner before catching a train. Very tasty and good sized pizza's here! Between £13-15 for a pizza so about average cost wise. Quick service!
C. D.
Really enjoyed our meal at Firebrand Pizza. My partner had a salami pizza and I had a delicious risotto. Particularly liked getting wine by the carafe – a glass is not enough and a bottle too much sometimes!
S. M.
Pizza was delicious and service was very attentive. It is worth a try if you're passing by one of their pizzerias.
G. B.
Francesco is a magician with the Pizza. Staff is very nice and polite and the food is simply brilliant. The quality of materials is very high. Very recommended
J. B.
My go to pizza place in Marylebone! They hands down do the best Pizza in London, very reasonably priced aswell. This is my 2nd visit 9 months after the first and there is even more choice on the menu. My only criticism was the starter. I had Buffalo Mozerrella, Avocado and Cherry Tomatoes. It was good but didn't make me wanting more, the cherry tomatoes where equal to something what you could get in Tesco for 50p. That being said everything else is spot on...the table service, the ambience, good wine. Would highly recommend!
P. A.
Firebrand offer some good pizza and main dishes close to Marylebone tube station. However, they messed up our order involving a taste card, and hurried us to finish our meal so they could go home. Wouldn't bother coming back, but the actual food was still pleasant.
N. R.
Excellent, fast, delicious food, friendly service
P. P.
Really tasty pizza, good selection and friendy staff. Would recommend!
A. S.
I went three times to this restaurant while visiting London , first time by myself, then I invited my friends. It was really outstanding. Food was amazing. The restaurant was very clean and the service was impressive. Highly recommend.
D. P.
Great little pizza/pasta restaurant tucked away by Marleybone Station. Popped in for some dinner before catching the train. Simple choice of mains served quickly and pleasantly and very tasty.
A. R.
Nice local pizza place with great atmosphere and very tasty food! Service was excellent as well.
B. E.
As my 6 year old who’s a true pizza lover said: “BEST pizza ever”! Phenomenal food, great service and fun atmosphere
Not to be missed spot with real Italian food and vibe! We will be back!!!
A. C.
A cosy environment with friendly staff. A good range of pizzas that are different to the typical pizzas found at most restaurants and a good selection of pastas. Pizzas were very tasty. Good value.
T. H.
Superb pizza. Happened to be there as they tested some Christmas season specials and enjoyed some free samples too. will defo be heading back soon to fill up again. Very good experience all round!
G. J.
Our new favorite pizza 🍕 with a fabulous team of staff and great cocktails. A little place with hearty portions and wonderful atmosphere.
B. B.
Crust on the pizza is amazing. We also had a very nice spinach salad. The wine and other offerings are limited.
B. M.
As good as pizza gets in London. Lovely staff, quality ingredients, crisp and chewy pizza dough. Almost like being in Italy (without the hot weather and flies)....
S. M.
Great pizza. Nice decent size and generous toppings. Proper Italian style. Go for lunch as it gets (deservingly so) very busy at night.
C. A.
Incredible and tasty Italian cuisine in a well decorated restaurant having cosy atmosphere.

M.
Normally a great place, so convinced some freinds to try out this place. it was embarrassing... running out of Buffalo Mozarella, Burrata and serving White Wine warm on a Saturday night..no excuses. Very poor..
R. B.
Amazing pizza. Small restaurant, no air on so a bit stuffy when it's hot. Pizza was worth it though!

(Translated) For non Italian:
Best italian place i know in london. I took a never saw pizza, (asking: Ei which is the best pizza? + Adding some Nduja [a rare sud italian spicy specialty]) ... and the result was just amazing! As you can see, I could show this pizza to all my friends and them wont believe i eated that in london! (sorry for my English but i'm from Rome;) i know pizza better then English: P)
For Italians:
I didn't pay the bill (and I don't know how much it was), so I can't make a quality-price speech.
So I limit myself to the atmosphere and the quality (for the price look at the menu). The wine was very good, the service / setting / music made me forget the tangible and metaphorical cold of england / london, and being behind the road with some more wine I could have thought I was in Rome / Milan in a more industrial / country version.
Pizza? A show indeed. And if I think I was in London ... It almost seemed like a mirage / miracle. Okay not to mention the female landscape ...: P

(Translated) Without a shadow of a doubt the best pizza in London and among the best I've ever eaten, excellent quality ingredients, the wood-fired oven and the skill of a pizza maker who, despite his young age, shows a remarkable experience in the "art" of pizza, make this place an excellence of Italian eating. Thanks Francesco! Highly recommended.

Grazie Francesco! Consigliatissimo.

(Translated) The very well-kept and cozy place. The service very good and pleasant. The food was very rich for that touch of the wood oven and quality selection of ingredients. Without a doubt a good place to go and to recommend. Quality right price. I don't know what is the correct tip for these sites.
