Reviews of Franco Manca Soho
F. A.
Love the pizzas here! Got a number 8 pizza (Napoleon Ragu) and it was delicious! The only criticism I have is for the Ragu to be more evenly spread out. I also usually get the number 6 pizza which is a chorizo pizza which I would definitely recommend. They also have a wide range of starters like spicy sausage and potato, aubergine and bruschetta (it's not called that on the menu but it sounds like it's bruschetta). I would recommend!
Pictures include Napoleon Ragu pizza and Margherita pizza.
V. C.
Pizza is very good and cheaper than all the other places that I ever tried in London! The place is lovely. The workers are Italian and there is always Italian music in the background, which is perfect to have a better taste of Italian culture.
D. T.
Pizza is great, they keep it nice & simple (like a true Neapolitan pizza), but full of flavor.
One thing that I really like is that they bring your pizza quite quickly, despite having a lot of orders going on.
The staff is very friendly too!
T. B.
Food was lovely and very quick to come out from order! Simple but great tasting neapolitan pizzas with no fuss and quite cheap too. Unfortunately on our visit the waiter wasn't very friendly and was quite rude when serving us which was disappointing
Y. E. H.
Good pizza, fair price. Watch out if you get the garlic bread starter it’s huge. Would’ve also preferred the garlic on the starter to be much more finely chopped. Overall great experience.
H. S.
My first meal in london - good old margherita pizza and it’s extremely affordable and delicious.
The pizza crust is fresh and not too heavy, sauce and cheese is tasty too.
Franco Manca is extremely popular in the city for good vfm pizzas and for a reason.
A. T.
Franco Manca never misses for me ever!
I love the new pizza No. 7, I got it with extra chorizo! 😍🤌🏽
C. M.
It is what it is, it's a sour dough pizza joint, I have to admit the pizza base, the wood fire oven and the atmosphere make it a great place to meet for a quick bite to eat. I didn't get my servers name (or I didn't listen when he undoubtedly told us) but he was an Italian gentleman with a ponytail who was superb, very knowledgable about the food, explained to us why you don't put Ricotta with tomato sauce, and was friendly and funny and very attentive to our table. Certainly was a credit to Franco Manca, nice selection of drinks, I had a number 7, and i was very happy with everything. Especially that base, so delicious on it's own there was no leaving the crusts.
J. D.
Very good pizza, nice flavour to dough and excellent price. One of the best Sfogliatella I've tasted in the UK. Well worth a visit.
J. E.
Waiter is very polite and smiling. The pizza oven cooked is very very yummy. Must tru
C. G.
Great pizza and the venue was good. Service was good and much better than the branch in Tottenham Court Road, will definitely visit again
D. A.
Neopolitan pizza. Located in Soho in the basement, partial two floor building. Great vibe, music, service and food. There was a 20 min wait but the hostess got us drinks as we waited outside and people watched or in my case vehicle watched. Once seated, service was quick and the pizza perfect.
S. T.
Super nice staff and always delicious pizza. The new #7 is great!!!! You can’t go wrong here. Truly everything is delicious.
A. F.
I love the pizza from here but went there Friday evening and even though it wasn’t so busy it took a long time for us to get served. I had to grab a waiter to get our order after being sat down and waited for 15 mins.
It was then another 20 mins to get the bill which just meant we also had to grab their attention to do this. Appreciate the industry is understaffed at the moment and probably why this was the service received but the staff were a bit frosty and looked stressed
M. H.
Really Good Pizza, and very friendly and accommodating staff. A pleasure to eat hear with friends.
T. S. B.
Excellent pizza at an amazing price. Less than £6 for a great Margherita is nothing if compared with the double-priced pizza express and similar...
Moreover, this is one of the few places where my children finish to eat everything!!!!
Kids menu at £5 include main course (pizza/pasta), ice cream and drinks.
Note. No fizzy drinks here
Quite noisy when busy, so early lunch is a must if you like a quiet environment.
"Loos" were clean.
All in all, it's a very informal and friendly restaurant (with young italian waiters enjoying "their" London life) and if you keep that in mind when you eat here, you are good to go! Failed to do that, you'll end up being super-frustrated...😀
P. B.
Great pizza at a very reasonable price. Good atmosphere in this underground pizzaria.
W. W.
A popular pizza chain. This branch has an unassuming ground floor entrance which opens up to a bigger basement dining space.
The pizza are tasty and made of sourdough. My preference is for thin crust so the pizza here is too doughy for me. But tasty nonetheless.
G. G.
As always great pizza!
E. C.
Found this place accidentally.
Great pizza at a good price, good salad options. Ideal for lunch or dinner. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.
If not a friend of alcohol, don't forget to try the organic lemonade!
m. m.
Very nice, like almost every Franco manca in London. The pizza was good. I'm really surprised about the service, very fast during a Saturday night. Well done
A. I.
I had heard a lot of great things about this place, but from my own personal experience it was quite underwhelming. Undercooked and bland pizza, you could only taste the sourdough. It took them less than five minutes to make the pizza and the prices were reasonable.
N. T.
Loved it, good size pizza.. great quality and good service. The decor is nice and the prices are real good for the quality. Can get a pizza from £6 and a beer from £3:95.
Quick turnaround time which is to be expected.
p. b.
Great pizza from a wood fired oven. Lovely place and very reasonably priced.
J. E.
Great atmosphere. Pizzas are amazing znd traditional. Excellent waiting team.
G. N.
6 of us during the pandemic. Great pizzas which we watched being freshly prepared for us and really nice atmosphere.
J. C.
Great pizza, and an absolute bargain for London! I must admit I have had better Neapolitan Pizza (Cal's own, Newcastle, VPN Certified!) but unless you're a massive pizza snob, this place will knock your socks off! I asked for sausage on my pizza, but had to break it up into smaller chunks on arrival. The waiter did not seem to know if it was "italian style" sausage (I.e. with fennel in) but thankfully it was.
K. M.
Brilliant pizza and service. Where you will find imaginative ingredients and delicious sourdough pizza.
E. H.
Pizza is delicious and affordable but I wish they would be less sporadic with the toppings?! Sometimes you get a lot and other times you get practically nothing 🤷♀️
R. V.
Amazing little place. Staff efficient and friendly. Food amazing. Will definitely be back when next in London.
A. J.
Delicious sourdough pizzas. Small menu, but very tasty
M. T.
If you like authentic pizza then there is no better chain restaurant than Franco Manca (for non-chain restaurant, no one comes even close to La'antica da Michelle). But there's a catch - authentic pizza has to be made in a wood fired oven and newer Franco Manca restaurants use a gas fired oven - even though the temperature is same, IT'S NOT THE SAME pizza. Thankfully, the Soho restaurant has a wood fired oven.
Among other things - Franco Manca do a short but great kids menu and service is friendly and quick.
S. R.
Pizza was really good .... Best quality .... And the ambience is peaceful .#must visit place. ❤️
l. t.
It seemed like a touristic pizza, it was not bad but still something that you can find everywhere in London
L. H.
Delicious pizza, generally good service. Only holding back a star as we asked for tap water a few times but it didn't come so I just went and helped myself!
A. T.
Amazing pizza. Great prices and definitely worth the queue. Go for the daily special or a cheaper pizza + dessert.
V. W.
Restaurant is very cosy, lovely atmosphere. Fast and friendly service. The pizza is delicious, huge and really well-priced (especially for Soho!). Would also recommend the lemonade, delicious 😍
S.
Amazing food, amazing service, came for starters only before returning in the same night with a large group for mains ! Special shout out to Gabriell
f. f.
One of the best place I ever been to enjoy a very good wood fired pizza. They also serve their beer, wine, and cider. The price is very reasonable and more competitive than other big Pizzas chain. I strongly advise you to go there !
G. X.
More like a 3.5 since it may depend on the pizza. My pizza was a bit dry after a couple minutes since it didn't have a lot of tomato on it which the menu stated. I guess it was partially my fault since the menu did mention it but I though they would do something to combat the dryness. Otherwise huge pizza for cheap. I might come back to try the other pizzas since this one was not bad other than the dryness.
C. Z. (.
Amazing restaurant ! The best of all Franco Manca’s I have been to in London.
Although being for its most part underground, the restaurant is cosy and the atmosphere flies you straight to Italy. Being able to see the ovens and the cooks while waiting for your dish to arrive is an amazing experience as well.
I strongly recommend the “meat special” pizza.
Their garlic bread is amazing, too!
Franco Manca Soho is definitely a place to go to for a nice, affordable and authentic dinner.
H. G.
Yummy pizzas with a reasonable price tag! A little too charred for my liking but still delicious. Service is nice and speedy!
S. R.
Amazing pizza and good service. A must in London for pizza lovers
B. F.
An excellent pizza! They have homemade, FRESH lemonade!!
B. S.
It was one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. The service is good, price is fine. But the pizzas are just sad. They are not even cut, its like eating a naan with cheese on top. And the toppings are not even that great.
S. M.
First time in a Franco Manca and pleasantly suprised. This branch is popular being just off Oxford Street. Pizza's are freshly made topped sourdough and very tasty. Staff attentive and prices reasonable.
P. K.
Gorgeous food and staff! No complaints at all, the atmosphere was absolutely great.
I loved the fact that it was a very authentic Italian pizza place :)
S. S.
Great food but the gentleman working there was miserable , no smile or no words spoken when giving the food and removing the empty plates . Gave my change in a rude manner by dropping the cash on table and not in my open hand which was obvious to him .
S. H.
Food was delicious, the sourdough base is amazing, but service was a bit poor.
M. C.
Great pizza, lovely staff. Highly recommended pizza restaurant !!!!!!
N. T.
Very good Neapolitan pizza in London! Based in Soho, the restaurant is not so big but the service is very quick and nice.
B. L.
The BEST pizza you can get in London. And best of all, it's inexpensive. The cheapest pizza on the menu is only £4.95.
j. k. l.
Amazing service and wonderful staff. Krishna was really pleasant and went above and beyond to cater for our dietary needs and them of our baby. Really kind and helpful. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend this branch.
R. N.
Always the best pizza and the funniest and friendliest staff! Returning again soon!
G. F.
I am here now to eat pizza with my son, it tastes really good.
J. M.
Went here last Saturday and food was great also if we had to eat very fast because of the rain :) Will go back as soon as possible now that we can eat indoor as well. Great pizzas and very good quality of the food.
R. H.
Pizza is good,, it came pretty quick like 10 minutes after we ordered
L. F.
My all-time favourite sourdough pizza place.
Franco Manca has consistently been serving fantastic delicious pizzas, I can’t express how much I love them!
FOOD: 9/10
DECOR: Pizza Cafe
HALAL: Chicken & lamb sausage is halal
SERVICE: Good
PRICE: ££/£££££
RECOMMENDED? Yes yes yes!
E. K.
One of the best Margherita di Bufala (!) pizza, quick & great service, not expensive
s. k.
I tried no3 vegetarian pizza, it was quite good.
I would suggest to book place before you visit, it gets pretty busy very quickly.
Á. A.
I've been there many times, very good quality for the price.
L. S. &. S.
Very nice place! Must try the garlic bread with mozzarella! Fresh ingredients, kind service.
N. K.
Really good Italian pizza! The place is very clean and staff members are friendly.
M. L.
Pizzas are SO good. Service is friendly but can be slow - then again, the place is big and in Soho.
A. V.
Great tasty pizza, friendly staff. Thank You!
L. B.
Fantastic! Delicious pizza, friendly staff, ingredients are always fresh and great price! I love this pizzeria in Soho. I'll be back soon!
T. A.
Tried the new No.7, and it was superb, although the pancetta took a little getting used to. Service was good here
M. Y.
The food is just so good I can't stop coming here. I particularly love the vegetarian options. The sourdough just makes it unlike any other you'll eat.
F. D. C.
Extremely friendly staff, good products, fair price. Recommended
N. C.
Very good pizzas at a very good price. This branch is in a basement and the staff have been really nice each time I’ve been in. I do have to ask for my pizza “well done” in Franco Manca and this place always gets it perfect to my liking
Good wine. Veggie/ Vegan options /cheese for those lot.
T. T.
Nice branch in Soho. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive, cheerful and attentive which is always a good start. The food is consistent with other Franco Manca branches. One of the best pizzas in London! Prices are also very reasonable so top mark based on price/quality/service.
B. R.
Great service, fast - perfect if late for theater! Food was delish and fresh. Can't fault them.
C. J.
Had a lovely time at Franco Manca. My partner and I were lucky to get an amazing waitress who was cheerful and very funny. We ordered the butternut and mixed green salad along with the garlic bread and mozzarella as appetizer. Very delicious and came quickly. We ordered the tomato , garlic and oregano pizza as our main course. The pizza crust was very good. We only felt that the sauce wasn't enough and we couldn't taste the garlic really but our waitress suggested trying the vegetable pizza next time so we will be back. Overall great experience. Family friendly and date friendly. Our bill was only 28 pounds which is very cheap. Highly recommend this pizza spot!
C. H.
quite possibly the best pizza i have ever had and also so so affordable. would definitely recommend
L. L.
Loved the Pizza and staff was friendly. Didn’t even have to wait to get seated. 10/10 would recommend. Prices were affordable, especially for London
D. S.
Amazing pizza, incredibly quick service. :)
L. B.
Pizza was great. Spacious seating. Toilets were clean.
C. T.
Tasty food as always and very quick, attentive service on a Friday lunchtime. Thank you!
M. T.
Amazing pizza, always packed and yet provides decent service (albeit a little slow sometimes), great prices. You really can't go wrong with a Franco Manca, it seems. It’s a recent find for me, and from what I’ve gathered it used to be even more value for money, it’s still providing much higher quality of food and products than the prices often indicate in London.
A. S.
One of the best sordough pizza chain places in London.
J. M.
I thought their pizza was outstanding and that's coming from an Italian from Los Angeles and New York City where we can get both locations without standing pizza. Good service reasonable prices for wine by the glass. Very little waiting and good location in soho
S. B.
Great pizza with vegan cheese, a little garlicy for me but otherwise good!
W. I.
Nice atmosphere, tasty no. 5 pizza with anchovies.
S. E.
Great place tasty food, good value
K. N.
Cheerful pizzeria offering excellent pizzas at reasonable prices. Great for those looking for a quick bite, on a budget or just catching up casually with friends. Not a place for formal occasions. Menu is simple. Be sure to check what the day's special is on the board as it changes daily.
y. '.
Affordable and good quality pizza. Also the stuff were so nice us.
A.
After months without pizza (as Italian it's very difficult to survive like that), I found this place and I definitely felt in love with it! Very good pizza and the staff... amazing! They always give you a smile and they are all Italians, so for me it was like being at home. Anyone who lives abroad can understand how special can be the sensation to find a place where you can eat your typical food and you can speak your language :) I was there once a week, minimum ;)
A. D.
The best pizza place in Soho. If you're a fan of sourdough pizza, this is the place to be. The pizza is a reasonable price and they are good sizes. The staff are friendly and they have pizza specials which are always changing. I am a regular visitor and I've been impressed every time I go. There can be a queue in the evening for larger groups, but the wait is worth it!
S. F.
Great pizzas as always. Note if you have a buggy there's no step free access
M. B.
Really delicious pizza, reasonable prices and very friendly waitresses!
S. W.
Delicious pizza nice place, but at the rush hours you've got to wait..
K. T.
Very busy branch but still good options. We rang ahead for our pizza but still had quite a wait whilst we were there. It may have worked out quicker and the same price if we'd just say in!
FM are fantastic though so no doubt will be back.
D. D.
The best Neapolitan pizza I've tried so far (haven't tried them all) at a very very decent price. They use very good quality ingredients. The only issue to my opinion is that you always wait for the bill for ages as it seems hard to catch the staff attention at times.
L. C.
Very good pizzas, new number 7 is so good and great recommendation from the staff. Very nice the new desserts as well.
D. S.
3 star review due to the following.
Staff: We were asked what table we’d like too sit at, so we chose. A few moments later the manager comes over and tells us we will be moved IF they become busy. Fair enough, but why ask us where we’d like to sit if you have a problem with it?? The manager needs to know it’s the paying public that keeps his job, so treat us with respect.
Venue: if you suffer from claustrophobia then don’t eat here, it’s in a small room in the basement.
Food: Never had a bad experience with food at this chain of restaurants, so if the rating was based solely on food I’d give a higher score.
Overall: Great food, just a let down with customer service. Think we’ll continue with the Franco’s next to St Paul’s.
I. N.
Fresh baked pizza with fresh ingredients. If you like pizza with a very thin crust, this is your place. The organic lemonade is lovely! They only have around 7 pizzas on the menu, but as it's usually the case with small menus, the quality is better. The prices are also very good, around 10£ p.p including the drink. And if you go for tap water (which is already on each table in a lovely jug) you probably won't be paying more than 7-8£ for a very decent size pizza for yourself.
S. V.
Amazing pizza, crazy fast service and very well price.
Favourite place in London for my pizza fix. They always have different options on the board and they change them weekly I believe.
Dessert not so great hut definitely worth it for their pizzas, you won’t find a better place central for the price.
A.
What can I say. My first pizza in London, a special place in my heart, amazing staff. Michelle, Diego and Pasquale are doing a great job. Good prices, a very genuine pizza, quick service, top quality, friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommended.
M. M.
Delicious pizza and fair prices, one of my favourite restaurant in London!!
T. B.
Because it’s a basement reasturant, it can feel very cramped and gets quite warm and noisy. However the staff are lovely, very friendly and attentive without being annoying, the pizzas are incredible and there is a great selection of wines.
E. Z.
Thank you to our lovely and bubbly waitress Krishna! You made our night a wonderful experience and the pizza was perfect! Would highly recommend! X
다.
beautiful taste . the dough is amazing :-)
P.
Me and my wife love the pizzas this company make and we were around town with a dear friend and got hungry and spotted this branch and had a lovely meal, he loves pizza but had never tried buratta so we introduced home to that and he is now keen on that in addition to pizzas, lovely food and nice atmosphere! Not too pricey either, a meal for three I clouding starters and mains and one soft drink each was just over £50.
A. H.
I've been here a lot of times and it's always good, even when it's rammed. However one time they forgot to put Mortadello on my pizza. I had to ask them to take it back. They were very nice and apologetic though. Lovely pizzas and amazing prices.
M. S.
An Italian friend of mine recommended that I go here. Those guys have a reputation for knowing great food, so what could possible go wrong? Not a lot, I'm pleased to say! The stone-baked pizzas were quite possibly the best I've ever tasted and the accompanying garlic bread and antipasto made up of salamis and mozzarella weren't bad either. Nice, friendly staff too.
m. a.
As usual pizza at Franco Manca is very good and cheap. It was the first time I was trying the Soho one: I usually go to the Chiswick one. The service was good and very quick. I think I received my pizza less than 10 minutes after ordering.
R. S.
The best GF pizza I ever had
S. J.
New favourite pizza place. Wonderful staff, super fast service. Few drink options but those provided were nice. Quick, cheap and high quality taste. Atmosphere suitable for a date, although children are often found here too.
B. D.
I've tried most of restaurants in London and I can say that most of them are the same. Just gave 3* because of the management. I asked for something more spicy than the spicy olive oil they have and the manager told me that if I wasn't happy, to bring my own!? 🤔🤔
Apart from that the staff was super nice and the quality of the pizza the same as the others Franco Manca.
G. G.
One of the better places to get pizza in the UK - definitely up there, especially considering the price and the quality of what you get. Extremely tasty. The only other pizza restaurant I hold in higher regard is Paesano, in Glasgow.
B. T. (. S.
This place offers great freshly made food. The menu is minimal so for those who struggle to make a choice things are simplified. It is mainly pizza with some choice of salads. Great tasting and full of flavour! Staff are very friendly. Prices are decent per person as you usually would be paying around £8-10 for main and drink.
The downside to Franco Manca's Soho is that there is not much space. There is usually a waiting time during busy times and can be a wait for over 10 minutes depending on the group size. When you do eventually get a table it is very cramped. I do like my space when going to a restaurant and it did ruin the experience even with the fine food.
S. A.
Cued for a while to get in and is a little cramped when full but total worth it. You get something herr that everywhere (pizza) but I've never seen it done in this way. Great options for vegans and vegetarians. Amazing beer.
P. F.
What a surprise!
The family was hungry and demanded food in a hurry so we googled for pizza and ended up here. At first sight we thought it was just some joint but going down the stairs we instantly felt at home. As said we were hungry so we ordered pizza for all.
Thin, crisp pizzas with good and genuine ingredients. No fuss, just really, really good pizza (and the wine came in a country style glass).
We'll be back, next time in London.
M. M.
As an Italian from Napoli, I can say Franco Manca is the best pizza I tried in the UK, very close to the pizza from Naples. The staff works hard and they’re always very polite and helpful. Will definitely go back and recommend.
A. N.
the pizza is TOO GOOD! managers are great, super nice and professional, however the entry level servers can be slightly clueless at times when taking an order, find myself having to repeat over and over for them to understand. However all in all a great option for a pizza night
C. C.
Delicious pizza at great prices. Reliable Franco Manca experience! The staff were super friendly too!
You can always count on FM for delicious pizza.
K. C.
Franco Manca is my favourite pizza chain in London - the prices are great, the food is always amazing, and the service we had here at peak time on a Saturday night was fantastic, the staff member we had serving us went above and beyond. Thank you!
i. r.
Overatted a bit, you can get better and real Italian pizzas in the same price and faster time. Took a little while to cook them a pizza plus the pizza was edible nice but not the best Italian we ate in London
B. G.
Best Italian pizza chain.
In a quick turn from the tourist heavy streets, the doors to this restaurant takes you downstairs to the main seating area. Prepared with fresh ingredients of the season, there are small amount of choices on the menu but you can always play around with the ingredients or try something from the Specials of the week. I recommend capers, olives, caremalised onions and cherry tomatoes for a genuine Mediterranean pizza taste.
J. T.
I loved it here. We shared a tomato, basil and mozzarella pizza, but added pepperoni to half of it. The sourdough pizza was delicious. This is the second time I have come to Franco Manca and would definitely recommend it.
W. T.
Tasty, authentic Italian pizza...you can't get better pizza than you get at Franco Manca.. with happy, friendly and polite staff, who enjoy serving you. Always a great experience - so revisit frequently to quell those #francacravings
B. S.
Tasty pizza, and nice clean restaurant, prices are average but good portion
B.
I love Franco Manca's pizzas, they are always nice, service is excellent and fast.
This time pizzas were a bit too burnt which isn't great. that's usually not the case.
Price wise, it's an excellent value and I highly recommend them. This branch is a bit noisy but nothing too bad.
M. H.
Great pizza at unbeatable prices for eating out in London. This branch of the chain is usually quite busy and I've experienced somewhat longer wait times than desirable, but it's consistently clean and staff thoroughly professional.
H. C.
Very good service and excellent pizza
J. C.
Really nice pizzas. Moody lighting and nice vibe.
R. J.
Very good pizza. We ordered the vegitarian pizza with basil (no. 2 on the menu). The pizza dough was perfect. The pizza seems to be baked with a brick oven. So delicious!! Very good service. Highly recommended.
A. S.
Nothing to say rather than this place is just great! Amazing pizza for just ~8£ However this place doesn't feel cheap at all. Furniture and interior are impressive and they cook in front of you like in a good pizza places) definately come back
H. M.
Once again Franco Manca doesn't fail to impress. Great ingredients make for s great pizza and this is some of the best pizza you can get in in England. Staff are friendly, restaurant very clean as a whole.
D. E.
Hands down one of the best pizzas I have ever tried!
Reat delight to the taste buds and nothing is ever a problem!
Definitely worth a visit
N. P.
Unfortunately, as a vegan, I didn't find the pizza that great. It was quite stodgy to be honest. Maybe the non vegan pizzas taste better and I heard they were good from the others but I personally didn't like the vegan pizza and the cheese that was used on it.
m. o.
I think the pizza for the price and quality is excellent staff usually friendly and attentive !
We love Franco Manca should be a bit more type of pizza :) and it’s just one little thing what makes me feel a bit disappointed little story “we went with friends we was 5 and we ask for a table but we wasn’t was hungry just our friend just came to London and we wanted to show her this place cos we love and always go there for pizza so we went there we ask for table we sit down when we ordered only just my friend was hungry we was just waiting for her and we ordered one more pizza to share the waiter Italian young guy was saying to me “but 5 ppl and table just one pizza?” I was like this is really rude I don’t really have to explain nothing and I ordered one more to share what he didint even waiting for cos after the first order he just turned and left ... I’m sorry it’s not big think but someone need to teach how is it work we are the guest he’s the waiter don’t tell me how to order or what take the order and deliver the food simple “ I was really disappointed I’m sorry but it’s not nice to mantion I use to work in hospitality too and in a very high level if I would do this I will get a problem for sure ... so just this what can be improved...thank you I will come back any way and I will recommend the place cos really good pizza I think the best in London and super price :)
L. I.
One of the best place to eat pizza similar to the italian ones.
W. W.
little bit small but very nice with tasty pizza
s. m.
My pizza was nice - I do find the crust to be overly dense/doughy with Franco Manca. My only issue with this place is the noise and lack of ambience. It is in the basement, tables are squashed quite close to each other. My boyfriend and I couldn't have a conversation as we had to lean forward and yell to hear each other. The staff were not very attentive. I imagine as it's so busy, they are just going through the motions.
N. M.
Franco Manca are definitely top choice for pizza. The food is great, the staff pleasent and it doesn't cost a lot. Just expect the wait to order to be longer in this location, food arrives quickly however.
R. B. -. E. k.
We popped in earlier this week.
Sourdough pizza was nice and my work colleague told me it was great.
Trouble is I am not a huge pizza fan so I can take it or leave it.
Seems a new popular spot in the Soho area, very busy.
J. S. W.
Lovely pizzas, friendly staff. pizzas SO inexpensive. A great place to meet up! Only downside - you WILL have to wait if you haven't booked, and I think they only accept bookings if you are a big party.
A. S.
I like their pizzas just be careful about busy times since they tend to burn your pizza since the oven is too hot because they need to serve too many pizzas for their capacity. The price is right, the taste is good, the service is nice. You can't go wrong.
E. T.
It's kinda one of the best pizza you can get in London. It's stonebaked which makes it authentic and it's cheaper than most places. Honestly, as an italian, it's quite hard to find a decent pizza around London that is not in the american style and Franco Manca is probably your best affordable choice!
M. H.
Great Pizza, great value
K. “. S.
Solidly good pizza.
F. B.
My favourite vegan pizza place :)
M. S.
Most excellent sourdough pizza
G. W.
Pizza amazing, staff lovely but service pretty slow and patchy. Had to wait a good ten minutes to even have water brought to the table. Unfortunately being crammed downstairs in a basement doesn't really make you feel that great.
K. S.
Always love a good sourdough base pizza
c. c.
Lovely food and wine. Waiter and waitress were friendly and helpful. The food arrived within 5 minutes which was really impressive. However the minute we declined dessert we got the bill without asking for it. We had a glass each of wine left and the waitress kept coming back to push us to pay and leave. We arrived at 5.25 and left at 6.15 and bought starter, pizza and bottle of wine which i dont think is unreasonable time to consume that in so we werent hogging the table. The place was filling up and i understand they want to make money but it was dissapointing to be so rushed. There was no subtlety and i dont think i would go to this branch again because of this.
S. K.
When we arrived to Franco Manca we were pretty enthusiastic about the type of food that they were known for (Italian). But Franco Manca was a bit underwhelming. The pizza was pretty good but for a pizza place, it lacked many types of pizza such as the Margherita, Marinara and Neapolitan. The garlic bread is a bit different than expected: instead of a piece of bread with butter, garlic and parsley on it, it came almost like a pizza. I was unable to actually taste the garlic in it. Another thing to be aware of is the portion size. The appetizers come pretty big and in some cases, as big as the pizzas (Garlic bread was the size of a normal pizza and was an appetizer). So overall it was Ok but definitely not as good as other Italian restaurants around london.
M. t. L.
On our daytrip to London we came here for a quick lunch. It was not normal quick but lightning quick; the pizza that we ordered was delivered in 5 minutes ! It tasted great for a reasonable price.
I. P.
Delicious pizza, amazing lemonade and all of it at fabulous prices! Depending what time you go, you might have to wait up to half an hour to be seated as it can get extremely busy.
F. M.
Supposedly the best pizza in London.
To be honest, as an Italian, I don't find it to be that special. The dough tends to be a bit chewy and the tiramisù a bit dry. Then again, for being a chain I guess the food is OK.
D. C.
When I went there they were understaffed so service was super slow and pretty disappointing. I don't blame the people who where working there, but management.
Pizza was good, but the mozzarella cheese was cheap supermarket quality. That's something I never experienced in other branches of Franco Manca. I hope thesre are not their new standards because it would be a shame.
K. D.
Authentic Italian style vegetarian Pizza. Cheese is vegetarian friendly. Gravy has no onion no garlic. Ideal for Jains and those on a low FODMAP diet. Pizzas tasted really good. We had the margarita with the buffalo mozzarella.
D. M.
Very nice pizzas and a lively atmosphere. We did have to wait for our table though and the waitress got our drinks order wrong. Small gripes though after an otherwise lovely meal experience.
s. s.
Amazing food and excellent service. We arrived as a group of 10 WITHOUT a booking but they found us area to sit and not only did our meal arrive fast, it was brilliant! Highly recommended 👍
b.
It does vegan pizza and it's yummy! But the service both here and in the central London branch is a bit careless. People who came after us ordered and got their drinks before they even came to take our order.
R. P.
Great pizzas, nice Italian waiters, really cheap considering the quality o the dishes. I've tried the vegetarian special pizza, at it was fantastic. Only the paste was a little bit too elastic.
A. P.
Tasty food and great prices. Staff were a little slow and the menu options I found confusing - the starters listing on the chalkboard made no sense to me, and I ended up ordering far more than I thought. The waiter could have easily seen that this would have been too much for one person, or at least have pointed this out.
O. T.
Best pizza I've had in London
M.
I’m italian and I never go to italian restaurants in the UK because you just can’t replic the real taste but the pizza here is very close to the Neapolitan one. Staff is very friendly and work hard. Will definitely go back.
L. H. L.
Ordered the Gloucester old spot ham, mozzarella, buffalo ricotta and wild mushroom pizza (fourth on menu) and must say I was a bit disappointed. The pizza tasted very bland and paled in comparison to my experience with the Chiswick branch. Price, as usual though, was cheap.
J. T.
Italian tourists or expats in need of an excellent and TRUE pizza? Try Franco Manca! :D I went there a lot of times when I lived in London. The pizza is gorgeus... and cheap too! Go early or be ready to wait in line to sit there.
M. “. T.
A lot of space underground for this central branch of the famous London sourdough pizzaeria. Delicious food at a bargain price, don't expect to pay >£15 per head with wine. Service is fast and effective, even if you're just getting a margherita and tap water.
A. C.
thanks to Riccardo for the great service. essential menu, 7 types of excellent pizza. air-conditioned space inside, tables for two in the small space outside
i. u. (.
Pizza here is authentic, delicious and filling. Service generally OK, but at times it's been impossible to get any attention. But the taste makes up for it!
A. J.
Great pizzas and service.
Tables would be best served cleaner- felt sticky and I used wet wipes on it. Not the most appetizing introduction.
O.
Still the best pizza in London, however this branch is all underground. Gets really loud when busy, so not ideal for quiet dinner. Great service as usual.
S. L.
Very tasty pizza, very friendly environment. On the other side, I don't like the glasses and no drinks for who doesn't drink beer and don't want to drink water or lemonade. Inside a bit dark. Furniture to be changed.
F. M.
Great pizzas, awesome location, cordial staff, all at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
J. L. P. B.
Amazing quality of food as always!
I want to highlight the customer service of Krishna, I had a mistake ordering my pizza and she fixed it straight away!! Really like Franco manca and congratulations for your people!!
J. K.
Franco Manca never disappoints! Head here for sourdough pizza that's always delicious - if only they'd put more basil on the basil, mozzarella and tomato pizza then they'd be unbeatable!
D. L.
We love Franco Manca as a company, but haven't had the best experience at this site. It wasn't particularly busy when we were there, yet it took ages for us to be served-- we saw several guests arrive after us get served and have their food arrive before our orders were taken-- we nearly left! Not sure what the case was.
a. v. d. e.
You can't go wrong with this place. Good value sourdough pizzas with daily specials and choice of additional toppings. Small selection of well chosen natural wines too.
P. S.
The pizzas are excellent. Not expensive. Good selection of wines. Serves its own beer; a Lager and a Pale Ale. Staff are friendly and nice.
K. H.
If you want good quality pizza in a relaxed setting at a reasonable price... this is the place to go. Don't forget to try the burratta... it's beyond description!
L. M.
Amazing pizza and staff. Best pizza place
Y. F.
Love this place for a pizza! The chilli sauce is my fave, try if you are feeling wild and adventurous. Anchovi pizza is the best!
R. M.
Great pizza, friendly staff, not enough SALT
L. L.
The menu may be cheap(ish), but you're sat like sardines next to everyone else. It's so loud you can barely hear yourself think. There were 2 waitresses for the whole restaurant, so we had to keep hassling them for water and the bill.
D. T.
Totally amazing food, been to many pizza restaurants and this is by far the best, even compared to any I have had in Naples in Italy
Soho and Cambridge are where I’ve tried and highly recommend them the staff especially Krishna at Soho was a credit to them
Posted by my daughter : One of the best pizza’s I have ever had.
D. B.
Usual good quality pizza, but felt they were not fully on board with distancing.
S. T.
We ate a very good pizza, the staff was very nice e helpful. Short waiting times and cheap check. We will go back again!
J. M.
Franco Manca is by far the best pizza joint in the city with an ever expanding number of locations. This authentic pizza restaurant only serves sourdough Neapolitan pizza. In Italian the name means – Franco's gone, in reference to the pizzeria, Frankie’s, which previously occupied the Brixton site. Giuseppe Mascoli, the founder's intention was merely to take pizza back to its roots and give his customers the same that he had known as a boy growing up near Naples. In his own words, "All I ever wanted to do was create perfect, simple food at an affordable price and give it a following." He has transformed the hearts and stomaches of Londoner's everywhere.
A pizza is made with a special finest strong white organic flour, made especially for the purpose in Italy by Molino Caputo and a sourdough (fermented flour “starter”) that can be dated back to the late 18th century, procured by Mascoli from a bakery near his hometown in Italy.
This restaurant is a MUST for anyone who loves Pizza.
D. S.
One of the best Pizza place in London. Pizza are really tasty and staff is usually friendly. Last but not least prices are really cheap for London.
V. P.
Good sourdough pizza at a value prize. There was only one in Brixton a few years ago and now there are branches in different parts of London. You can also take away.
G. H.
This has to be the best pizza in London. Fab prices, fast and lovely service, finally made enough room for dessert on this visit and was well worth it!
A. M.
The number 7's toppings were delicious, full of flavour, but the dough was not of the same quality of better pizzerias in Glasgow (paesano, mozza, baffo)
K. K.
Franco Manca is a gem. It is incredibly rare that you can get the best caliber of a cuisine for a lower price than rivals that produce lesser products. Starting from £4.50 for a marinara pizza, Franco manca makes for a very cheap and tasty night out!
D. F.
Not expensive for London. Very busy (you have to wait shortly outside the place to be asked in when a table is free). All natural pizzas, limited menu. Lot's of student visiting the place.
P. C.
Great food, our pizza was delicious. I have visited few times this chain and this time I wasn't disappointed. Delicious
C. C.
Good food; service was a little slow, but given the fire alarm sounds as we were there, I assume there was some minor mishap in the kitchen. They were warm and friendly and I would recommend.
A. M.
Went with large group. Staff coped well, all things considered. Pizza came out 2 or 3 at a time. Good value for area. I'd go back again for sure
R. P.
Their pizza is amazing their price is amazing their side dishes are amazing. Their service is amazing. Best pizza in town
M. C.
The most lovely and kind staff!
M. W.
Got take away pizza. Staff were good and was ready quickly. Pizza is decent, especially considering the price, quite a bit cheaper than other pizza places.
C. O.
Got us a table of 7 at about 9.15pm with a 5 minute wait. Friendly staff. Pizzas were fairly good for the prices.
G. P.
Good pizza ,if you want eat good one this is the right place. Soft and fresh ingredient. And normal price .
J. T.
Great pizzas at a great price. Staff were friendly. There is much more seating space downstairs in addition to the few tables outside.
S. P.
Best pizza in London, but the service is extremely slow.
We waited for 45-50 minutes for our pizzas to arrive.
They need to solve this annoying issue.
C. G.
Pizza is good, burrata is excellent, but the place is too loud and lacks ambience as it is in the basement. Doesn't take reservations, there is usually a crowd waiting. Good for takeaway.
立.
Delicious pizza and valuable price
M. T.
Excellent pizza and quick service even though they were busy. Cater for allergies too and their homemade lemonade is excellent
J. F.
Great pizza for a decent price! Only one table upstairs, so most seating underground (so no windows), however the lighting is nice.
S.
Great pizza consistently
G. B.
Visted Franco Manca (Berwick Street) with my 12 year old son in June this year. Pizzas were amazing and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Both my son and myself considered it the "food highlight" of our London trip.
F. K.
Authentic Italian pizza and friendly staff. Fair pricing... Very crowded but cozy! Liked it a lot!
M. L.
Excellent service, nice and cozy place. They serve really good pizza
A. G.
Very nice pizza, forgot about our starter though however they took it off the bill so not too bad to be honest
F.
Lovely lunch at Franco Manca . The Pizzas are very tasty , I took the N4 and i add 2 garnishes soo good , our waiters it was Lovely and very professional.
P. R.
Hmm pizza. The is the place to go. Rather than a million toppings, they have a few well selected choices. Friendly service even while the place is busy.
N. S.
Great thin pizza at reasonable price
K. G.
Delicious sourdough pizzas! Service was speedy and friendly too. Burrata wasn't a highlight but the homemade lemonade rocked my world.
K. F.
The pizza is amazing every time I have it.only sometimes it's burnt , but still good. Staff is friendly and helpful, always happy with that pizza.
W. M.
The pizza here is of the same standard as you would expect from this chain, but the real draw is the price. Great value for money. Shame about the basement location.
C. B.
very fast service and quite cheap
P. Ż.
Best place if you like pizza. Always friendly staff. And you don't need to take mortgage to pay the bill.
D. B.
Place is much bigger than you would expect as you walk past and has plenty of seats. The pizza tastes just as good as it did from the original market stall.
J. P.
Great value - simple tasty pizza. Quick service. Buzzing atmosphere. Highly recommended.
S. A.
Best pizza in London. I'm a big fan of number 4 on Tue menu. Go to Franco manca every time. Pizza hut who 🤷♂️
F. W.
This place made me feel link the king of france im so please
A. S.
Great pizzas and lovely staff 😊
G. I.
We came there by chance and we couldn't see the place because it's underground. We had a nice surprise, great place, it was pretty crowded and the pizzas were terrific. Great food, and nice value for money.
J. H.
Pizza not to my liking. I prefer a pizza base that has a nice crunch and full of toppings. Some Italian pizza purists will like it.
Z. D.
Excellent friendly service, amazing food as ever for a great price. The drinks selection are also excellent. This is a great location, though a little small - but just as good as their bigger stores.
M. C.
Since they changed the manager the food quality is not the same. Before was stunning, now it's just a regular place. Orders arrived after a long wait. Aperol just not aperol. Made by the manager btw...
C. M.
Pretty great Napolitan style pizza, dough can be a little tough. Would come back for their exclusive beer though.
F. K.
Authentic Italian pizza and friendly staff. Fair pricing... Very crowded but cozy! Liked it a lot!
N. Y.
Suchhhhhh good pizza - original topping options too
W. M.
The pizza here is of the same standard as you would expect from this chain, but the real draw is the price. Great value for money. Shame about the basement location.
H. S.
The best pizza around! Relaxed vibrant atmosphere - I love it here!
J. T.

Very nice pizzas and a lively atmosphere. We did have to wait for our table though and the waitress got our drinks order wrong. Small gripes though after an otherwise lovely meal experience.
A. S.
I like their pizzas just be careful about busy times since they tend to burn your pizza since the oven is too hot because they need to serve too many pizzas for their capacity. The price is right, the taste is good, the service is nice. You can't go wrong.
F. Z.
Best pizza I've ever had! Very nice waitress with thick Italian accent.
A. M.
I think Franco serve the best pizza in London! Go here just before or after lunch to avoid not getting a seat
J. H.
Amazing service!!! The one in tooting was terrible but everywhere else the food has always been amazing, the staff is super friendly and everyone knows how to do their job. Will definitely be coming here again ! :)
p. e.
Great sour dough pizzas.
Pity the manager had a sour face and couldn’t crack a smile. Very unwelcoming.
R. J.
One of the best pizza chains in London. Authentic stone baked bases with a small and focused menu.
I. M.
Easily one of the best Pizzas I have ever eaten. Really good place.
T. H.
Great pizza at rock bottom prices. Small menu but everything is great and you can get a bottle of house wine for £14.
L. H.
One of the best pizza chains in London, if you're a student check out their offers on their website as they will give you a free drink on one of the weekdays
J. N.
Tasty pizza at great value prices (for London). The free bottles of tap water, offered unprompted are a nice touch.
a. z.
Mediocre pizza not as good as the hype. Underbaked sour taste. I love neapolitan pizza and they miss the mark.
D. X.
Their pizza make me crazy. Its so delicious! I love this place..always make my day better
J. A.
The pizza is pretty good (although you can get good pizza in loads of places) and there are limited seating options on the ground level so you'll likely end up in the basement
A. P.
Amazing true Italian pizzeria in London. Amazing costumer service, high quality of food products. Simply amazing !
T. Q.
Decent price and portion. You cant go wrong!! Last few weeks EOHO added extra bonus. Thank guys.
K. S.

Amazing pizza, friendly staff, good prices.
A. F.
Nice and tasty bit short on toppings
L. J.
Very delicious pizza and a good service. It's located in Central London and the prizes are fair.
J. M.
One of the few chains in London that offer good Italian pizza. Other restaurants of the same chain tend to have even better ones, though.
A. M.
Great atmosphere. Pizzas are yummy. Good service.
J. D.
Excellent pizza. Staff amazing and accommodating of our young family. Highly recommend
K. Y.
Good price. Shame about the pizza.

z. h.
Good pizza at reasonable prices. Nice ambience. Service could use just a little bit improvement
A. I.
Just lovely. Can never go wrong with Franco Manca.
A. R.
The dough is perfect, so is the organic lemonade. However, a generous layer of tomato and basil would be just WOW!
H. S.
The best pizza around! Relaxed vibrant atmosphere - I love it here!
H. S.
I've been going there for a while and it serves nice sourdough pizza. But I wish they introduce some new menu.
P. S.
Good value for money especially as the Pizzas are so much better than the likes of Pizza Express
H. A.
Just fine
B. D.
Yum. If you're in London you have to go here. Seriously the best pizza I've ever had.
C. J.
Been here a couple of times now, food is always excellent, however service can be a bit on and off, even when it's not busy I've had service been a bit slow, but usually good!

35 quid for 2 ppl and 18 of that was on the wine
N. C.
Best pizza I have ever had! Great service. Toilet a bit dirty
J. D.
Franco Manca do the best pizzas in London. This isn't one of their best restaurants, but it still won't let you down
J. D.
Great gluten free base, althiughbnot as fluffy as the real thing. Always a great choice for real, authentic pizza.
C. P.
From an Italian perspective, I love this pizza and for the price it is definitely worth it!

Food is good but we had slow service and such a rude waitress. Disappointing as the seating hostess was lovely.
