The pizza is…. Fine. I got the butternut squash and ricotta pizza and my husband the salami and mushrooms pizza (can’t recall the pizza name). We both the pizza sauce topping to be too thin although I liked the chunky butternut squash and decent ricotta blobs. The pizza base I found to be not as tasty as others I’ve had. Bonus though as dog-friendly and good house wine (red for my husband and white for me). Nice interior decor (love the lamps!)

A local favourite. All of the pizzas are delicious and the house wine wasn't too bad either. Think it's changed hands in the last 6 months but still as good was it was before.

They have the best variations of pizzas with real italian ingredients. Especially Calabrese and Putanesca are my favourites. They use nduja as topping which I didn't see at any other pizzeria's so far, and it is extremely delicious. Very friendly staff, quick service. It is nice to have such a good local pizza place around!

Had a Lucifero pizza yesterday at Dalston Roof Park in London and it was one of the best pizzas I've had in a LONG time. I am really picky about pizzas and I am 9 times out of 10 really disappointed with the quality of Neapolitan pizzas - so many places in UK run the heat too hot so the pizza is basically raw when they serve it up save a bit of char. This pizza was completely on point. It was really well cooked. All the ingredients tasted delicious. The char ADDED to the flavour and also big respect for not doing that big crust thing which I often think is just a way to save on toppings. The best pizza I've had in London by a mile. Thank you. I can't wait to have my next one. And shouts to the friendly pizzaiola for taking pride in his work. Different class.

Great place for a good lunchtime deal. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. For £6.50 (for any pizza or pasta), most places will only serve a mediocre starter. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick meal.

Visited on Sunday evening and whilst I was waiting for my family I ordered a drink and the goats cheese garlic bread. It was, by far, the best garlic bread I have ever eaten!!! They are quick, clean and very friendly. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis :)

Great service, and a lunchtime deal that's easy on the wallet. Serving staff was efficient and friendly. They accept card payments and you pay at the till. It loses a star from me because the pizzas were okay but nothing to rave about. With Voodoo Ray's and Pizza Union just up the road towards Dalston Kingsland, competition here for the best pizza is rife. Still, it's not a bad option if you're just looking for... a Bite to eat!

Absolutely wonderful experience celebrating my wife's birthday. They accommodated 15 of us on a great table in the back of the restaurant. The lady who served us was fantastic and very friendly throughout. It was our first time visiting Dalston and found this place as our pre-concert supper. The reviews were spot on. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had. Unfussy atmosphere, lovely waitress ( and great price). Almost tempted to skip the concert and order more wine.

I’ll start by saying that I’m italian so I always have high expectations of Italian food although knowing that I am abroad it goes much lower.. The prices are good for the quality... but the quality is not above a 2/3 star. Pasta was quite plain. Staff is friendly so nothing bad on that side of things.

Hi, there for anybody who seeks for a big BITE of tasty food. The BITE restaurant has never made me feel embarrassed whenever I have been there both myself and with my guests. The employees, especially, the manager (I suppose his name is Furkan, sorry if I'm mistaken) are very hospitable, polite and superrrrrrrr fast in bringing our orders. The atmosphere is authentic and food is fantastic, my favorites are warm goat cheese bruschetta and a veggie pizza Gisella, actually their motto is NO PIZZA NO PARTY. After having been pampered for a few times there, I thought the manager - Furkan and the Bite deserve a warm thanks from my side. Reserve me a big bite for my next visit. Thanks guys...

Had the veggie antipasti and the pasta carbonara. Starter was good, although nothing special. I have to say that I was disappointed by the main dish. Portion size was good but both the spaghetti and the pancetta were overcooked. Staff was very friendly and the prices more than reasonable. But I don't think I'll be coming back. At least not for having pasta again

Newly opened pizzeria on Kingsland Road offering a much more refined experience than most of it's rivals. The pizza itself was very tasty with just a thin, just slightly chewy crust which was ideal for mopping up the chilli oil and the selection of toppings was more than adequate. I would have enjoyed it slightly more with just an extra minute in the oven but otherwise it's definitely one of the better pizzas I've tried recently

Big Pizza Union fan, but the pizza here (along with the rest of the menu) is another level. Each plate served with real care, soul and passion that the local chain restaurants can’t even begin to touch. Reasonable prices and authentic cosy interior are the cherry on top.

Popped in to The Bite to grab a pizza to take to the park. The staff were busy putting finishing touches to the dining area which looks great. Fresh flowers on the tables, home made chilli oil and basil. Our order was taken and the pizaz chef was quick to get it freshly prepared and into the oven. Prices start at about £5.50 for a Margarita which is great value as the base was well made and the topping liberal and fresh. Really happy with our meal and will be back to dine in the restaurant soon. Oh and they are HUGE - never mind pizza express - 1 between 2 left us with full tums.

Kingsland Road may be so noisy and frantic that you can easily overlook this tiny restaurant. I've been passing by for almost a year on my way back home always wanting to give it a try. Sometimes I saw it and sometimes it just wasn't there... As most of the good things in this life it's small and hard to find. We had a great experience having lunch there and felt like a reward... but the best was to come... Don´t miss the tiramisú!! After such luxury the best surprise was the bill. Absolutely ridiculous in this so overrated city! I can´t wait to go there again.

Best Pizza I have ever tried. Usually I go to chained restaurants, but the taste of this pizza is far better than other restaurants. The price is too cheap as well. Personally went to kitchen to see how they cook. Everything is fresh made daily.

I had my food delivered. The bruschetta and pizza was very lukewarm but the pasta was hot and tasty. We ended up throwing the bruschetta away because it was too oily. We ordered the American Hot pizza and the portion of chillies on the pizza was far too much. We ended up taking off all the chillies even though we love chillies. Good thing we added jalapenos. Customer service is excellent though. Edit 01/04/17 I grudgingly decided to order from this place again. The whole food experience was different to the first time. The pizza was very hot and tasty, the bruschetta was not oily(Instructions for less oil followed) and the carbonara was yummy. Hence changing my original 2 star rating to 4. The Uber delivery spoilt the experience (wrong address) that's why 4 stars and not 5.

I would give it 5 stars but tbh my pizza was a bit soggy, (i ate it straight away) but the favour was all there, if it were Cooked 2 min longer it would have been one of my best pizza so far in London, staff are super chilled and laid back and resonate a very ambient possitive vibe. Will defos recommend, regards to my comment on the pizza being a bit soggy i over heard it was the chef's first shift. So it was definitely worth it by all means. I'll be back fo sure in the future.
