Tiny and warm restaurant, the voice and the smile of Jessica, the owner, make your culinary experience, unforgettable !!!!
The best part is that she surprises you and all other guest with a small detail letting everybody feeling special!!!
The gnocchi were delicious and together with the music they brought us in Italy!!!

From the moment you step in till leaving you will have the most authentic Italian experience you can get in London, no need to keep trying other restaurants, come here indulge and leave happy and satisfied. You will want to return and bring all your friends as well.

Simply lovely restaurant, ablaze with great cooking, well chosen wines and the most amazing front woman in Jessica. Went with my old friend Hugo and I shall be back. Thank you.
P. S.
We held our office Christmas dinner there (20people) and booked without knowing anything about the restaurant. I was a little worried at first due to the limited seating capacity and it being very different to our usual 'corporate' dining venues. However, it was one of the best lunches we have had as a team and an hours lunch turned into 5 hours. This is a very authentic Italian experience and the host Jessica was amazing. The food was all freshly made,, the tiramisu was delicious. A great spot for coffees or a long boozy lunch/dinner. Its not a fine dining experience. Its a local place that is a great setting for informal get togethers. Definitely our new local. Phil

Small Italian brasserie/diner filled with locals tucked away off Baker Street with tables outside. Limited tables so book to avoid being disappointed in peak times. Attentive fast service, well positioned servings, and great home style favourites.
Ask for the special Jessica wines by the glass.

Jessica has created a family feeling that is hard to beat, the food is always perfect and her mum a pleasure to chat with. This is my favourite restaurant in London

My phone somehow decided to give a review of 3 stars previously (apparently my pocket dial capability is pretty mighty...), and I'm glad the owner asked me to give a comment so I can rectify this!
Met my friend for breakfast and it was a great place for food, the location is convenient and the price very reasonable. It's a small cafe but very cosy. We had a great time there, the Italian Mama who's there is fantastic and made us laugh. Super friendly, will definitely visit again!
C. B.
Great Italian restaurant, the meals are delicious and the staff is friendly. However the restaurant is a bit small but charming.
R. F. S.
It has been a long time since I had eaten such exquisite food. The cherry tomato has flavor, the salad, the broccoli, the spinach, chicken fillet... The pizza has the perfect crust. You can notice each ingredient the great taste it has. Congratulations!!!!!
S. F.
Have been coming here for nearly 7 years. One of the best Italian restaurants in London.
F. m.
We had breakfast here, it was great. I will come and try there lunch or dinner they have good food.
M. N.
A special, unfussy, marvellous place to eat. Popped in for a lovely pizza and wine afternoon meal. Jessica was so friendly and made us feel very welcome as did everyone! Definitely be back. Marylebone is so charming! See you soon. Best regards, Michael & Nicola. Xx

Small Italian place with friendly service. The pasta is great (sorry ate it before taking s pic😬). The pizza is not bad either. If i had to choose I would choose the pasta I et the pizza.

Stumbling upon this beautiful authentic Italian restaurant truly was a gift! Walking into this establishment, you are greeted by the lovely staff who already make the experience memorable and worth coming back for. The place itself was truly cosy and exuded a sense of calm and feeling of being in Italy! The food was truly amazing and every bite was sensational! If for an outing with friends, family or even a date, this is the place to be! I am truly ecstatic to have found this gem and to be able to call this place my new go to! From the best service, beautiful ambiance and superb food, this restaurant has it all!

Tiny Italian restaurant that’s warm and friendly. However, the pasta is not what I had expected: a little over cooked and too small. The lamb chops are good and cheap - £21 for 3. Wine we wanted not available so the manageress / owner recommended something else which she said was very good. But that turned out to be more than 30% more!!! Probably wouldn’t go back.
L. G.
Really a hidden gem! Precovid I would go regularly to have dates with my girlfriend. A littl family bussiness which is very lively and Italien in style. It shines with authenticity. On top of that the food is amazing! I absolutley love the pizza and veal milanese. I have now begun ordering this religiously on Sundays. The pasta is also incrediblr, when in the restuarant I often replace my side for the milanese with a side of pasta pomodoro. I hoghly recomend this restaurant! Please do support them through these hard times , they are on deliveroo with an elaborate menu! I cant wait to go in again once times become easier.
S. K.
We had tried the restaurant about a year ago and found the food to be a tad better than it was on this trip.
Overall, still felt like home cooking. Pasta is definitely a must, will probably pass on the pizza next time.
It's a family run restaurant and it's always good to support them.
R. R.
authentic Italian cuisine and staff. they speak Italian...!
A. A.
Great breakfast! Get the omelette it's really delicious
G. L.
Very nice. Try it out before you die! The food is excellent, good as in italy.

HIDDEN GEM!!! We had a lovely dinner last Saturday. The restaurant reminded me of the little bistro in NYC, amazing and authentic! I have tasted the tastiest veal chop in my entire life! We also met the owner she was super friendly and professional. The staff was quick and very helpful, we will definitely return to try the rest of the menu!
R. V.
Amazing family run (or it appeared that way at least) Italian restaurant with amazing fresh made pasta, mains and pizzas. They usually have a couple specials as well. Not too expensive given the area and would definitely recommend! Make a booking as it is popular and not that large in terms of seating.
S. p.
So many great meals and memories at this family run joint for decades. One of the best in London
T. J.
Would give 6 stars if I could. Amazing food, cool atmosphere and the family that owns/runs the joint is from Italy so you know the food doesn’t get any more authentic. Plus, they’re always great to have a conversation with. Highly recommend, ciao.
G. D.
Feeling home! Authentic Italian food in a very cozy and familiar restaurant offering a good choice of English breakfast too... perfect mix. I strongly recommend it!!Great service, friendly staff and great value. We will be back soon!
S. B.
This is a family run Italian restaurant. Don't expect it to be open over the key days of Christmas. They all need a break. This is what is so good about Blanford's. It is ultra friendly & feels a bit like home. I've been dropping in for coffee & finally had lunch with my vegetarian daughter. The food is great. Blanford's was recommended to me by a Sicilian friend - she knows good food.
m.
Decent food for a fair price, but service was really bad. The waitress told us we needed to be quiet as soon as we sat down, even though we'd booked half the place. There definitely wasn't room for all of us on the tables given, so we had to move things round ourselves. She then got my order wrong- I explained this, but as I was hungry, said I'd just take the wrong item, and she just handed it to me without apologising! Service was very slow considering it is such a small place.
Can't really go below three stars, because I got a good pizza for a tenner, in a nice little place, but I wouldn't go back.
T. C.
Wonderful dining experience, the food is excellent and reasonably priced. The staff are attentive, and know their way around the menus. Traditionally Italian atmosphere, will certainly be back!
K. M.
Truly THE BEST. Warm, cozy, true Italian home cooking. I love this place and the people who run it—seriously, this is a hidden gem.
T. M.
We have been coming for four or five years...in that time we have never had a bad lunch/dinner there. The food is very good/excellent (breakfast omlettes are fantastic), and we are always warmly greeted by Jessica, Giorgio, Anna and Alfonso. The cafe is one of our favourites. We shall miss them tomorrow as they are on holiday.
S. W.
What a lovely and cute place in busy Baker Street area! It is like visiting your own family! The food is good quality and the menu is very traditional Italian! The owner is there at all times and chats with everyone personally. This is the kind of place that you can go to for whatever reason: alone or with a date or family, dinner or lunch or breakfast, drink or food, whatever you feel like on the day! Highly recommend!
T. C.
Oh Blandford.
Jessica is the best host.
Easily my favourite Italian in town. Never disappoints. Delicious unpretentious dishes that are rich in flavour and served by the nicest people in town.
The venue is small and cute. Welcomes everyone in the true Italian spirit.
Great negronis and wine list.
Perfect for any occasion! My most visited restaurant in London.
F. L.
Best milanese I ever had. My friend had a lasagne and was lovely too. As a starter we went for a pizza bread that was nice presented with olives and the we had burrata. The apple cake was amazing. They gave us some chocolates with the coffees :)
L. M.
I simply love this restaurant. It's is a quality place and if you visit enough times, you start to feel like part of the family. Consistently filled with locals, it is a small neighborhood gem with lots of character. Although they serve delicious Italian meals (pasta, pizza), it is also an amazing spot for all day brunch on Sunday's. The egg dishes are delightful (favourites include baked Florentine, and uova foccacia) but, the fresh squeezed orange juice is made from divine fruit. Treat yourself to the torta de mele as a finishing touch and I promise you will leave with a smile on your face.
R. A.
Amazing Italian food. Very hospitable owner. Thank you Jessica.
G. F.
Cosy restaurant, lovely staff, fantastic thin crust pizza. A friend and I had a quick lunch, he had the diavola, I the capricciosa - both were delicious, high quality ingredients and a light and crispy base which just set it off beautifully. Didn't try any of the cakes or sweets, despite the temptation, but they looked very tasty!
Will definitely be back for more :)
F. P.
An incredible hidden gem in the heart of London. Simple environment with an absolutely delicious cuisine and at a reasonable price. The brusquetta and escalope are a must have. In addition, the staff is extremely friendly. Will certainly go back soon. Thanks!
E. C.
Jessica is a wonderful, attentive hostess. She welcomed us to her restaurant like one would welcome a guest to her home. The food and wine recommendation were spot on. Highly recommend.
J. D.
About £80 for the two of us (inc. service charge) for a shared starter, two main courses and a bottle of wine. Nice cosy spot with character and really friendly Italian staff. Lots of comments here re poor service, but we didn't experience this at all.
E. N.
Delicious Italian food. I recommend Carbonara Pasta and Veal Milanese !
E. L.
Lovely cosy place for Italian pasta and a nice coffee. We tried the pasta with aubergine and carbonara. Friendly staff, the owners were also very nice to our toddler. Will come back again.
M. F.
A great 'non-sceney' local cafe where you don't need to have your botox up-to-date in order to venture in. Not fancy, but good solid comfort food with reasonable prices. The minestrone is good and the homemade lasagna is flavoursome and filling. What they lack in finesse they make up for in endearing Italian hospitality.
L. J.
I've walked by Il Blandfords Cafe many times living in the neighborhood and I finally decided to give it a try for lunch - and I'm glad I did!
Food: They have great menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I've been craving a good pizza and was happy to see that they had a few on the menu. I ordered the Diavola pizza and was told it was proper size for one person. It came out and was much bigger than I expected but that didn't stop me from eating ALL. OF. IT because it was sooooo delicious.
Drinks: I ordered a soft drink.
Price: 9.70 GBP for one person for lunch.
Ambiance: I sat outside because I had my dog with me. The inside looks very cozy.
Service: The service was friendly and attentive.
Would I go back? Yes! I can't wait to try their breakfast. This is a strong contender of being on my go to list in the neighborhood.
Note: They don't take credit cards, only cash. There are two banks down the block from the restaurant.
R. M.
I can't say enough about this wonderful and authentic family-run Sicilan restaurant! The owner Jessica and her chef partner Georgio made me feel like family from the moment I came in the door. The food is some of the best I've ever enjoyed...You gotta go!
A. D. K.
Il Blandfords is more than a café but not quite a restaurant; a posh cafe if you like. It is quite cramped with small bench seats and chairs closely spaced, so not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs in my opinion.
The table tops are unusual in being metal clad, which has the effect of not gripping your plate of food, so you chase it around the table; they really should use suitable table mats (update at Dec 2019 - metal tops have gone, so they may have taken heed). However, it oozes character with interesting artwork on the walls. The food is really nice and well presented, but a tad pricy.
Please LIKE if you found this review helpful, thank-you.

Friendly staff, great Italian doing wheatfree pizza and pasta too. Nice place to have a tea and do a little work. Must reserve later in the day but generally ok at lunchtime
J. P.
Very nice cafe and the veal milanese is perhaps the best ive ever eaten and i had my share. Its the only thing on the menu that is that good everything else is rather average. Yet i find it to be a bit of a rip off since its usually £25-30 for lunch. I mean the cafe itself looks like if you ordered everything on the menu would cost you £10, but thats just not what its like. Also they dont accept card so make sure to come with at least £30 cash.
T. S.
Very pleasant Italian cafe offering a good range of cooked breakfasts for meat eaters and non. Freshly made fruit juices, courteous professional service.
D.
I was introduced to this establishment when the owner contacted me for a quotation of works, since then I had returned numerous times for their food. Especially the salmon pasta dish. Sadly I’m no longer living nearby, I’ll pass by soon.
D. T.

At last a family Italian restaurant place in Marylebone. It has it all - great food and great selection of wines yet the secret of this place is the owner Jessica and chef Giorgio.
