Food was AMAZING from starter to dessert..but what made our experience even better was our host ALEXANDRA..she was a absolute pleasure, she went the extra mile and she had a beautiful aura. I plan to come there again not just for the food but the service was top notch.

Today we had an excellent meat lasagne with a small mixed salad, with one glass of wine and one cider as a lunch menu. This is a delightful trattoria, a street away from the British Museum, where we saw an excellent Peru Exhibition. The food was delicious and well presented and we will definitely be returning xxx

A small coffee house with a big atmosphere. The rustic design and decor was pleasing and pictureresque, to some extent. Most importantly, their cappucinos are one of the best ive tried -with the flavour and notes really striking my taste buds. This is not an exaggeration - ive tried many artisan coffee houses/shops including the big names and none of their cappucinos come close.

Very good fixed price menu and decent portions. Not very smiley service though, we felt like an inconvenience to the waiter.

Looked inviting after an exhausting day walking round museums. But the service (a single person) although prompt enough was lacking in charm. We did not feel particularly welcome. My husband chose a seafood pizza and Peroni beer, I chose the Saltimbocca alla Romana and a small carafe of the house white wine (£13.50). The beer was fine, and the wine was very good for a house wine, though actually I'd have preferred to order 250ml glass. But no complaints at having to have a bit more wine!. However, I'm sorry to say that the food was only ok. My Saltimbocca (veal fillet, parma ham, wine sauce and roast potatoes £13.50) was disappointing, not very hot hot (served on a cold plate is probably why) sauce was tasty but very thin and the roasted potatoes (4 small half potatoes) were just blah. I have had roast potatoes in many Italian restaurants and they have always been crispy small herby squares. The veal was OK as was the parma ham - a bit chewy but OK. My husband left most of the mussels on his seafood pizza as they were flavourless (we live in a seaside town so know how mussels taste) and the pizza dough was doughy rather than crisp. The bill was £52, my husband paid £55 in cash and asked for £3 change as service was included. Eventually, as we left, he asked the serving person for his £3 which he was given.
In short, a disappointing experience and one we will not be repeating.

I found this restaurant 9 years ago and I loved it. Back then, the owner was a very kind Spanish man, he is not the owner any longer. The service is still kind and prices are reasonable. I love the food, the tiramisu was not so good, though.

Lunch menu great value for money.
Good quality and tasty. My little daughter seldom finish the whole dish and she did here.

Lovely family meal, no children's menu hut then kindly made smaller pizzas for our two children. Lovely atmosphere, great food.
