Charming little place with friendly staff and great food. The menu is small, so don't expect a tonne of choice - but what we had (beef and the risotto) was lovely. Don't go to a chain restaurant - go here!

Great little Italian restaurant with plenty of character and superb meals. I tried the spaghetti with mozzarella and tomatoes which was extremely tasty. My wife had the fried sea bass from the specials which was exceptional.

I brought my Aunt & Uncle here last Saturday night after it was recommended to me by a friend. The staff were immediately so friendly and accommodating. I cannot praise the food enough. It was absolutely divine. Each and every dish was fantastic. We had such a mixture of different foods from fried courgette flower, parmigiana di melanzane, to cod on a bed of lentils and pomegranate. If you're anyway remotely near the area, please do yourself a favour and go there!

Wonderful little gem. Incredibly authentic Italian food run by some very friendly staff. Reccomended for a group, or a nice date night out. Although they didn't have gluten free pizza options the manager was extremely flexible with the menu and offered a range of options for my coeliac wife.

I have been to Il Girasole a number of times in the past, and decided to go again the other day. It seemed different to previous occasions and the food was not as I would have hoped. The Burata to start seemed to just be a mozzarella ball. The sausage tortellini was a lot creamier than before, but still very tasty. The chocolate cake for dessert was okay, but would expect more from an Italian restaurant. It was a shame as it is hard to find a good local Italian. I wonder if it is under new ownership.

We had dinner with my inlaws here when they visited. My MIL fancied Italian food and we found this place by virtue of the fact it was open on a Monday! Firstly the food was excellent we had a mix of pasta dishes and a pizza as well and had no complaints about any of the courses. My only gripe was with the affagato desert which I have had better. Service was excellent (Didn't catch his name but he had a ponytail!) Didn't expect this in the Earlsfield area but will definitely visit again now that we have found it

After finishing my 10 day quarantine, coming here was a great start to my holiday! The waiting staff were so lovely and as a person with allergies they were very attentive! The food was fantastic especially the tiramisu! They were so lovely that they gave us all limoncello shots! Really lovely interior too and very hospitable waitors. The main host person was super nice and welcoming. Portions sizes were great and I had a great dinner with my family after 1 year of not being able to see them! Thanks to this restaurant for a great evening :)

The staff are very accomodating and the food and drinks is great. The starters were great. I was a bit sad that the fiorentina pizza was not on the menu! That is my favourite pizza! But my partner had the quattro formaggi a d it was better than the old menu. Just bring back the fiorentina pizza as it's such as classic and you will get 5 stars! Sitting in the garden area was also lovely!

Really good quality food and friendly service. Good sized portions and very reasonably priced. The crayfish and crab ravioli was perfectly cooked and flavoursome. Highlight was the cannoli for dessert - beautifully rich and tasted just like a chocolate orange. 3 courses and 2/3 bottle of wine came to £45 with service so excellent value.

I have been with the family this week end, the atmosphere is amazing, the waiter is very funny and professional. I love the smell of the food when you come on in. The wine selection is awesome, the menu is changing and the specials are Wow!!!! The pizza is tasty and light, the price is regular, but the quality is top. The sea food and saffron pasta is very tasty!!! 😋 May be we wait a bit, but after that you tasted the dishes, understand why you wait: good quality and tasty tasty tasty food!!! They say from March they will introduce 2 offer: Tuesday 2x1 on the mai dishes when we have also starters. Wednesday 50% off an all the wine!!!!! I hear they want to open in the morning too.... we will see.

This is local to me and we really haven't used it as much as we should. The food is absolutely delicious - particularly the truffle, mushroom and sausage tortellini. Wow this restaurant was fantastic. Went with friends who are locals, The food was out of this world . They made a little dish especially for me which was so great of them. And the lemon sorbet

Really good, authentic Italian on Garret Lane. The food is faultless, the pizza is divine. Pasta is great and we love the specials board which changes weekly, have had a range of authentic Italian foods on specials (different to the usual that you would expect) such as Mussels and Calamari in the summer. One of our favourite locals.

Fantastic food. Even in lockdown and as a takeaway. When I was able to sit in I would love chatting to the team and trying out the specials (as well as my favourite staples). Absolutely fantastic Italian food every time. I have been many times now and cannot find fresher more flavoursome Italian food anywhere else in London. They are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very laid back. Definitely book though as if you just turn up you're unlikely to get a table.

Lovely, busy, local restaurant with authentic food and great service. The chef/ owner is happy to talk you though the menu and goes out of his way to ensure you are happy. Decided to come here after reading numerours reviews and walking past for a number of months. Staff were really friendly and polite, unfortunately the food was average. The canneloni was just shredded spinach, hardly any cheese and the past was tough. The pizza was very oily. Keen to support local businesses but food needs to be worth the price and unfortunately this wasn't the case.

It's little places like this which make me wish I was living in Wandsworth again. Three of us visited on a very quiet Sunday evening with only 2 other tables in use. Very friendly waitress and the chef, obviously not being busy, came out to welcome us. Mine was the only starter and I love calamari and theirs were perfect, absolutely perfectly cooked with a large prawn balancing on the top with some delightfully fine courgette chips. Considering this is only a small place the mains were really West End quality. My calzone was cooked to perfection, the bread lovely and thin and crispy with the filling almost bursting out with its 'juiciness'. The pasta with Umbrian sausage and sauce, filling and rich but the 'best of best' was the pan fried sea bream fillets on a bed of spinach. The fish delicately marinated and the spinach firm enough to support the fish but cooked enough to melt in the mouth. I could go on to describe the delights of the pannacottas but I think you get the idea! Whether it's for a Saturday night dinner or just an after work snack, you won't be disappointed.

Has to be one of the best Italian restaurants around town. I've been a half dozen times and never left unsatisfied. Good simple menu and a little Limoncello at the end never hurts. Definitely worth your time if you like traditional Italian food.

The service was superb. My toddler spilt an entire jug of water over the table and the waitress was so kind about it saying that it was nothing and proceeded to wipe down the table and floor and replacing our placemats and cutlery etc. The food was also amazing and the desserts (ordered tiramisu and panacotta with raspberry sauce) were delicious. Visited Il girasole with friends as one friend who eats here regularly swears by it. He was not wrong! It was a heaving Saturday. The staff and waiters were amazing and there was no long waiting times for food despite how busy it was. The food was spectacular, the special fish stew in particular was a delight and for dessert the special cheesecake was another 10 out of 10. Every dish on our table looked appealing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in St.Neots.

The menu changes during the year in order to make the most of the seasonal ingredients, offering dishes often found in traditional Italian trattoria, but very seldom available outside the Bel Paese. I would definitely recommend the porchetta with truffle to start and the pasta with the rabbit ragout if available, so tasty! If you're around the area and fancy a traditional Italian restaurant, Il Girasole is the place you want to go to.
