Great central location, outdoor sitting, but hardly any traffic, as it is located in the "dead end" street, so no fumes and you can enjoy your food outside. Beautifully decorated inside of the restaurant. The freshly prepared authentic food will certainly please your taste buds. The restaurant is not too big and not too small by London measures. The prices are surprisingly affordable again as pee London measures. Great service, you'll get noticed right away you enter. We will definitely visit again.

The REAL Italian pizza. This is the best pizza in the UK and I can say it as I tried a lot of pizzas in the last 3 years living here. And I also ate pizzas in Italy. So... good food, good price, nice staff. I highly recommend to eat here. I come here with my family (2 daughters and wife) to have a lunch.

Was disappointed to find no decent desserts on the menu. Was told there was only vanilla ice cream available because the chef is lazy according to the waiter who served us. Everytime we go to an Italian, we always order a homemade tiramisu to finish off. Should be standard in any Italian tbh?

In my opinion is the very best cost-value restaurant near Oxford Street. We had a lovely dinner at "Il Pizzaiolo" and everything tasted authentic and delicious. I would definitely go again when in the area! Great pizza, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff.

Relatively inexpensive place considering the area. However, pizza is no better than a frozen one from Tesco. If you can't find somewhere else, this place would do, but lower your expectations.

I really like this restaurant. The stracciatella soup is fantastic. Any dish you choose will love it. I also had the Veal al limone DELISIOSO. Please dont forget to have a coofe with a Tiramisu! go and check it out....

I ordered the Margherita Pizza. It was ok. The best Margherita Pizza has the following tidbits to tantalyze the taste. - It has small torn pieces fresh basil lightly placed on top of the cheese after it is cooked. A few of each should be placed on each piece. - In addition to tomato sauce, small chunks of fresh, ripe San Marzano Plum tomatoes should be placed on top of the cheese before it is cooked. - Parmigiano cheese and a few drops of olive oil should be sprinkled on top of the melted plum tomatoes. The Margherta pizza at Il Pizzaiota is missing these important flavors. It is basically a cheese pizza.

The service was very good. Not too rushed. It was a quiet time with only one other table being occupied at any one time. The food was fresh and tasty. The price was reasonable for the area of London. All in all a lovely place with good service. We have been using this restaurant for many years now and will continue to do so.

Shut the door and ignore the haters, this restaurant is a gem in the heart of the most expensive part of London! The food is authentic Italian and at a very reasonable price! I loved it so much that I visited twice for dinner in 4 days! For starters, the staff is laid back and very helpful. I've had the pizza, tortellini in cream, tomato soup and chocolate gelato cream puffs. Along with several authentic Italian beers and a beautifully priced bottle of red. There were no misses and the prices were so low that it won our informal "bargain of London," honor. I'm taking my husband back to London in less than 6 months, to celebrate our anniversary, and this restaurant will be our first meal!

It’s okay... I have tried one of their pizza and really still have mixed feeling about it. Hmmm... it wasn’t the worse but nothing to terrible as well. Dry and hard to bite. Place itself has a nice atmosphere with all Italian places panted on the wall and wooden furniture I expected a bit more. Being located in such a good place it’s a shame that food is just average. Service ... hmm.. very disappointing. Had to ask twice for water when seeing 3 members of stuff on their phones browsing. There is more but you get my point. Won’t go again.

Excellent, excellent Italian food. Pizza is great, house wine is great, atmosphere is great. It's even great that it's tucked away off a very noisy street...it's pretty amazing that you can find a place so quiet next to an area so noisy. It's our go-to restaurant when we're in the area. Definitely try the Pizzaiolo pizza, it's served with fresh, cold mozzeralla and basil on a hot pizza...awesome!
