Came across this lovely restaurant by accident, what a huge mistake not to find it before. Lovely atmosphere and great wines. Pizzas are huge and crispy as I like it. Every month a lovely wine tasting takes place. Highly recommend

The truffle chips were the best chips we've had in our lives and we've had many. Green Olives were also amazing. Pasta unfortunately bland and cold In comparison but omg those chips makes this so many stars. Love.

While I've never eaten in the restaurant, this is my go to pizza joint and we eat here once a week! The pizzas are fresh and piping hot. Service is great and they are able to customize pies. They also accommodate a vegan diet and have vegan cheese available. My daughter is dairy intolerant and loves their vegan pizzas. During the week they have a pickup special. A medium pizza is £7 and honestly best deal in the city!

The best Italian restaurant I’ve ever experienced! Lovely waitress (Ivana) who gave the most excellent service, great drinks and amazing food highly recommended will come again, huge portions, incredible prices and the most authentic Italian restaurant this side of the river! Their pizza is one of the best in London. On Wednesday, 10th November, one of the chefs was looking after the table service and it was truly an experience. 5 stars just for his service!

Absolutely love this place. Gutted to be moving from the area. Great value for delicious food with deals throughout the week. Wine tasting at the end of the month which was fantastic. 5 Canapés and 5 glasses of wine with a knowledgeable guide. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I love this place and normally the pizza is excellent. However last time the pizza was not good and the toppings were rather disappointing. I normally order a Margarita with extra cheese, artichokes and wild mushrooms and chilly, which brings the price up to £16.50 for a medium size pizza. This is quite a bit of money in comparison with the other pizzas on offer. However the toppings that I get are very little. I really love this place but hopefully they can review the amount they give on the extra topping as I would like to get a decent amount if I'm paying the price.

This restaurant has a wonderfully atmosphere, authentic Italian feel to it. You are warmly welcomed upon arrival and thanked upon leaving. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. I love the fact that they cater to vegans with wonderful vegan options and are willing to change the cheese on any of their pizzas to vegan cheese. Can't wait to come back!

Members of staff were helpful and our food was ready in what I'd consider record time. Their pizzas are fairly priced, however, I don't know if I'm able to say the same about their non-pasta based mains. My seabass, while nice, was quite a tiny portion and I didn't get too much in terms of grilled vegetables either (good thing that my other half let me steal a slice of his pizza!). It's only fair to add, however, that their pizzas are delicious and they do great deals during the week.

La Gioconda is an independent Italian restaurant. Had the opportunity to meet the lady behind the success 30 years ago in Italy (Rome) in her other business. A charismatic Italian woman that make the best homemade pasta in Europe. The Gioconda in Hornsey high street after 30 years has the same atmosphere and this is absolutely mind blowing. The wine list is stunning with the Passimento best of all. Pizza is crispy and delicious like in Rome, pizza Romana. If you are in London must try it because them pizza is different then the other Neapolitan style.

I can't get enough of their pizzas! All made with wooden oven and super tasty. They are proper thin bread type of pizza and they cover all with ingredients. On Wednesdays, they have an offer of £6 medium pizza you can't miss!! Perfect amount for one person. I usually take away but the place is super cosy. It has been decorated in a italian style. You also can take away and you can wait just for 10 min max. Until it's done. They are always very polite to costumers.

Great food and lovely service! Between 12-5 everyday you can get any pizza for £6.(medium but they are quite big) Pasta and anti-pasti are also lovely, with multiple daily specials. Wine list is ok but a little pricey.

Nice little Italian. Good service although when myself and my girlfriend went there were several items not available from the menu. Bit pricey on the wine side (£5 bottle marked up to £15), food was good and the portions were good too. The owner was friendly enough and welcomed my girlfriend to the area. Quite a lot of takeaways being ordered whilst there, which I cant help thinking pushed our food back. Extra seating at the rear too.

An award winning Italian restaurant, run by Italians. Great food, family friendly, charming atmosphere. The Fiat 500 that fronts it is charming too. (If you can't get a table Tomo isn't bad either.)

The pizzas are the highlight - using good quality ingredients and as the Italians do, are not overloaded with toppings. Service is attentive and friendly - an added bonus!

As someone who grew up in Italy, this is the best pizza that I have eaten while I have lived in the UK. The quality of the ingredients are clearly superior to other restaurants that I have been to. The only improvement that I could give is that the dough is slightly a bit chewy, jaw started to tense up a bit after a while.

I would like to start by saying that I am Italian and OMG, the food is absolutely amazing! Fresh and incredibly well prepared, for these guys it is clearly more passion than just cuisine. A good selection of wines and the lovely atmosfere, make the whole experience very pleasant indeed. You can even sit and dine in half of the iconic Fiat Cinquecento, a red one too! I feel I need to say that Simona, Stefano and Gayane really know their stuff; professional, smily and always ready to make you feel at home, Italian Style. Can't recommend it highly enough. We just moved in to the area and struck out in search of food for ourselves and three helping hands - The food was brilliant, the wine pairing worked, the price was more than reasonable (Less than £10 for a lot of the mains) and the atmosphere felt authentic and homely.
