Lovely little place for a quick glass of wine. If you hungry they also do food! My favourite is the Honolulu, but controversial as it has pineapple on! The Ultimate Four Seasons is rather nice with the quail eggs. I tend to go when it's not busy, that way service is fast better, as when full the service can be a little slow. I have frequented for years, mainly due to the staff whom are lovely!

The best restaurant in Maida Vale decaying. I have being here hundreds of time but lately less frequently. I visited last week and still the service and ambience was 5 starts, excellent as usual. Regrettable the food failed. We ask for a Lasagna that use to be fantastic and move to pathetic (no meat, no sauces, extremely poor quality and mega expensive). Fortunately the pizza still are Ok

Lovely staff members , bread is fresh and good start to the meal. Fish is a very hard fish to perfect and u fortunately I wouldn’t recommend , very bland and a lot of greens thrown all over it , no real seasoning . Good food - pizzas are lovely. Sit in or out or takeaway. This place is part of Maida Vale and has been open in the area for over 20 years… it’s charming inside and out. A good selection of bottled beers and wines - cocktails served with a variety of tasty Italian food. The service very good - served by a very charming, warm South African chap called Giulio. He made our evening with great service, charm and warmth. Recommended.

Lovely local pizza restaurant. We were taken by our friend who lives in Maida Vale and it’s a real gem. Lovely staff, the owner Pete is really friendly and tells a great story (he’s had the restaurant for 35 years). Tables outside mean you can soak up the ambience on a warm evening and the clientele seem to be lots of local residents who all know each other. Really fun place to sit and people watch. Good wine, good pizza and try the calamari which are excellent. Definitely recommend.

This place was recommended to me by a friend who works there. I will give exact points on why should one visit here. The staff is extremely welcoming, in a big city if you are just visiting for a few days it could be a great idea to be around people who make sure you feel comfortable. Their menu is good for the price and the chef has some brilliant skills at Carbonara. I also ate mushroom pizza and was not disappointed. Most importantly the bar tender is good and to top it all up the place offers good music taste. Be ready if you land up being there for an evening when there is a cricket or football match you might have to queue for the tables. Nevertheless standing talking to people, making friends over a night. This place offers it all. This is not the best picture I have of this place but will help me to bring a sweet memory of London.

Went here during 'outside only' rules. PLENTY of outside tables stretching right round the corner - always a chance of getting a sunny spot! Staff are friendly and great attitude. I had sausage and mash, and friend had bacon brioche bap - both very good. I also saw pizzas coming out that looked great, charcuterie sharing plate, and homemade 'refreshers' and lemonades that also looked great. Will be coming back.

Neighborhood Pizza restaurant has large choice of pizzas on the menu. Style is quite thick base, and large dinner plate size. Happy with my pizza, and generous with the toppings. Reasonable prices. Has other menu options, pasta & burgers etc., so good choice for family & kids lunch. Visited early afternoon midweek. Restaurant has a bar area, imagine it's quite lively in the evening for locals to enjoy. Guess it would be a youngish sort of crowd, and couples. Might visit in the evening as a possible alternative to the pub. No idea of prices for drinks or beer choices, but guess cocktails and wine would feature high if I'm right about the local crowd.

Sad to see this restaurant has so many low rated reviews. Visited today with a party of 12, the service was a little slow but the food was fantastic & the friendly staff more than made up for it! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the amazing pasta and staff who went out of their way and well above and beyond to accommodate us.

Food was delicious and customer service was friendly. Seating could be better. I loved where we were seated but we had really loud obnoxious people right near us. This is more about how some customers behave but it could have been dealt with better with more spaced out tables and chairs. After a strict lockdown, you would think spaced out table and chairs would be the norm, but I felt that they squeezed our tables too close (too much by even pre-pandemic standard). I don't think I have been that close to a stranger in a long time plus I could not stretch my legs. Plus I was surprised there was no NHS track and trace system? We also made a booking in advance, but the people who were squeezed next to us clearly did not make a booking - we heard everything about their conversations as they were loud, selfish and unaware of their surroundings. I understand that times are difficult but these sorts of customers who are allowed to act selfishly will only make it worse and the bad seating plans/no track and trace won't help. Its also worth noting that those with loud voices - their noise travels and echoes underneath those umbrellas! The umbrellas and heating is a great idea, but customers should make an advance booking (and hence be treated the same as everyone else) and tables should be spaced out to ensure we are not squeezed in. The majority of customers were lovely and quiet but I suppose we were unlucky being next to that table which kept attracting loud people who did not make bookings and forcefully moved their chairs right up to our table.

I visited this restaurant with a few friends in August 2020 on a Sunday and we sat outside. The waiter was very friendly and brought our drinks out to us smiling and joking. The waitress who took our lunch order was miserable and unfriendly and looked like she didn't want to be there. My friends ordered a pizza and lasagne with side salads. When the pizza and lasagne arrived they came with salads already on the plate so there was no need for them to order the side salad. The waitress should have said (when we ordered) that the dishes already came with salad. We then wasted an extra £9 on the side salads that we didn't eat. Perhaps we should have asked when ordering but i think the waitress should have had the sense to say. The food was nice but not the best. I think this restaurant is ok for a quick lunch like we had but i have been for nicer lunches and service for the money.

I first came here 5 years ago. Today nothing has changed, it’s still one of my favourites spots to eat. Offering stunning food, amazing service and a lovely atmosphere. From the offset the space offers a friendly atmosphere and cosy interior. - American bar vibes, don’t make me laugh - (Beautiful private hire space available too) The food is packed full of flavour and gives a real taste of Italy, the pizzas are also probably the best in the area, (FYI they do takeaway) the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, (Especially a waitress named Alissia; who couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.) making every moment enjoyable. While the food is a little over priced the overall experience is delightful and I’d recommend coming for a drink or a bit to eat. You’d be missing out if you didn’t.

This is a great place to be. Staff are incredibly friendly and polite. I go there almost every day because you can just have a drink or eat a meal and nobody pressures you into Leaving the restaurant once you've eaten by bringing you the bill like in some other places I could mention. They treat their regular customers like a family. I love it.

I was looking for a place to have a ‘real meal’ in the neighborhood... this was the only place that I found but I was really hesitant because of the average star rating. I am very positively surprised by this place! The service is excellent and the food is really good! When we first came in we were warmly welcomed. We waited for our friends. Food was ordered and came minus one meal and and sauce. Five times we had to ask for the meal which was ordered at the same time. All with pitafull excuses. Preparation time is longer. Were busy. NO NO NO. STOP i work in a kitchen that's not how it's done. When the food came presentation was so poor I wanted to send it back but my friend was hungry. My sauce which was meant to come with my steak was not served on side plate and by the time it reached my side my food was cold. Waiter would not get me another steak. Poor marking. We were told the food that was missing for an eternity would not be on the bill. It was. We had to argue about this. DRINKS. doubles served in shots , this only came about as some asked why there was so much coke in her vodka and coke. Say if you were to drive and you thought it was a single you would be in trouble. People should be made aware. Coffee served with out sugar or any form sweetener, although clearing the table was good. Toilets if you're disabled wheelchair, walker.etc and on the lauredale road side of the restaurant your screwed. No access inside it's out and around the doors are heavy narrow and not step free. Its actually very poor. Even with out access the toilet are very low down. Sinks need updating and hand dryers are so pathetic and limp. You can dry your hand quicker by blowing on them. No matter what way you look at this this is not a disabled friendly place at all. That another bad mark. Summing up with friends a great time but needs a huge amount of improvement in my eyes won't be get back. Its popular with those who are not in the position to worry about the above so don't care.

Had dinner with friends at Le Cochonnet earlier this week and it was reassuring to see the place buzzing at the bar and with other diners. The service we received was courteous and efficient, but most of all the quality of the fresh and superbly cooked food was enjoyed by everyone - particularly the Dover sole! For choice of wines, we followed their recommendations which proved to be a good choice for quality and price! Such a welcoming, superb wine bar/ restaurant will now see me and my friends returning soon. It is not surprising that I we met other diners who have enjoyed Le Cochonnet for decades - that in it's self is the best recommendation.

This place is a gem in a cool neighborhood. Only a short two block walk from the Maide Vale underground seperates you from being transported from London to a small cafe in Italy. I had family in Italy so my expectation of pasta dishes is pretty high; however, the lasagna did not disappoint! The owner is lovely and wait staff were the perfect blend of charm and efficient. They were nice and attentive enough to get us things we needed while allowing us time to enjoy the food and wine at our leisure. Price point was very fair and the wine list had varietals from all over the world. All around an exceptional experience.

Not much to look at from the outside or the font of the menu, this place is a solid local establishment. Great for a glass of wine, nice hearty dinner for the family or catch up with a friend. Portions are large, pizzas are not so individually sized, and large wine pours are well... large :) Don't expect white linen table cloth service - this place is more neighborhood, family, and cozy than anything else.

I love Le Cochonnet's atmosphere, food, and friends. The quality of ingredients is superb, and the selection is fantastic. Their best dishes are their comfort-food pizzas and classic pastas. Personally, you can hardly ever go wrong looking as the specials board either. Is the Cosh perfect? No. But is it comfortable, does it serve delicious food, and are the people friendly? Absolutely. I look forward to flying across the Atlantic for another Cosh pizza and glass of wine. It is always worth the trip.

Le Cochonnet is a nice place in the earth of Maida Vale, they have a nice selection of pizzas and other dishes. I have been there with my girlfriens, it was a cold and rainy evening, the restaurant was very busy so they gave me a table in the veranda and I need to say that is was a little bit cold compared with the other part of the restaurant, also if there were two heater it was not enough. Waiters made a nice service anyway but if we want to talk about pizza, it was ok but to be honest I was expecting more quality It s not something that s impressed me!

Love the food here and great layout. My one gripe with the place is drinks. I usually order a coke for 2.80 or however much and I've noticed they fill the small glass up with an already open can. If I'm paying nearly £3 for a coke I would like the whole can and not just one glass out of an already opened can which is flat.

I live local to this place and I have been here a few times. I thought it was finally time to give my review. The food is not my favourite, it is very average Italian food. The pizza tastes good, but its too thin it falls apart. It took them 30 minutes to bring it by the way. The seafood linguine was nothing special and took another 30 minutes. The bolognese ragu didn't taste that good either. While a table that arrived after us was served their main right after us. The service is not bad, but they are a bit slow. They did not ask if we wanted dessert so in the end we asked for the bill and even that took long. So the 3 stars is more than they really deserve, but I am fair and it is based on the average of times I have been.

I decided to try this place because of all the reviews. I got a take away. When collecting the place was busy, a nice busy - It was a sunday early evening. I got a Linguine with Fresh Seafood, Garlic & Chilli, if you're not a fan of spicy food this is fine, if you are - you'd probably have to add some more chilli. It's an oily dish and quite garlicy, that said it's not overly oily or overly garlicy. A nice amount of seafood and good sized prawns, not those shrimps that people try and pass off as prawns! The dish was a nice size ... for me. Would i order it again? ... Yes. I also, love a dessert after my main so i picked up the Tiramisu - not the best tiramisu i've had but tasty. I personally don't think it's overly priced - but i think they've just changed the prices (different to website) i went there with exact money but had to pay by card due to them not having updated the website. I'd love to go and sit in to eat.

Very tasty food made form quality ingredients pizza is fantastic i think flour is imported from Italy (taste like in Italy) i saw some say staff are these and that ... they are normal guys ,and some people want complementary foot massage with their pizza so u see that kind of text.., any way i am local residents so go there often evenings and weekends and put on some tasty calories ;) one pund fish very very good very very cheap /:) IF want good honest food and cosy atmosphere go there ;)
