Really tasty halal food. There was a queue outside of 10 customers. Can be quite busy at times and there is no eat in option, only takeaway! Everyone ordered the half chicken with either chips or rice (Most popular dish). Definitely good value for money and the chicken is the best grilled chicken I've had. 👍

Dont come here if you want a 5 star dining experience - but do come here if you want the BEST chicken of your life. There is no seating, the area is dodgy, but I've seen people eating the food on the bonnet of their cars in the cold with huge smiles on their faces - this is how amazing the food is. It was my first time trying this place just a few days ago. The food is amazing I opted for the half chicken boneless over rice and was amazing. The chicken is skin on so all the juices remain succulent. I even got a parking ticket on my trip here and don't even regret it and would do it all over again. Definitely will be back.

Overall, Excellent food for a good price. Unfortunately It is let down by the very long wait times and the queue (if you can even call it that). There is no queuing system in place so it's basically a matter of approaching, what is most often, a large crowd standing outside and working your way to the front (often by awkwardly asking people if they've been served yet) before placing your order. Depending on the size of the crowd it can take anywhere from 10-20 minutes to place your order and an additional 10 to 45 minutes to recieve your food, and if you're unlucky, sometimes longer.

Its a really good place, food is worth for the money. Usually busy so you gtta wait in your car or outside and sometimes it takes a bit of time. Also location where they are placed at isn't that great, so make sure you park up your car across the road (there's like a side road right infront of the shop where I'd recommend parking your car, otherwise you'll end up going the long way) Other than that is really good.

Very nice Lebanese place in front of the hostel, the place is small and crowded. At night it can attract a not so desirable bunch of customers. The queue is long, my roll with lamb was ok, maybe the lamb could’ve been cooked a bit longer but whatever. Very noisy very confusional. But good after all. I can’t complain. The food is fresh as it’s always packed. Unless they keep a rotten item for you because you are bad and ugly.

It was worth the 40 minutes drive we were highly recommended by few friends so had to give a try. Heard everyone raving about how good the food is from this takeaway. Yes a takeaway, I had to eat in my car lol. You need to try their boneless half chicken with spicy rice topped with chilli sauce (wasn’t spicy but added flavour) and garlic sauce. The chicken is marinated and grilled while you wait, the chicken is just so tasty and succulent. While writing this review I’m drooling and thinking shall I go tonight. Go after 7pm as there’s free parking on red route. The only bad thing I have to say is it should be a restaurant because it’s not easy eating in a car with plastic cutlery. You have to be careful not to make a mess as you’re curing the food on your lap. Bought 3 meals, two with spicy rice and one with chips and it was only £20. So cheap. Spicy rice is £1 more than the chips but worth it. I called in advance but they don’t start making it until you’re in the takeaway :( so no point. Heard the wait can be long but we weren’t there for long. Definitely a must try!

They should really think about making a bigger restaurant as it's always so busy outside and there's no place to sit. The entrance is blocked off with their menu infront. I'd definitely recommend trying the 1/2 boneless chicken it was perfectly cooked and juicyyyy, I'm not sure what it is but their chilli and garlic sauce just hits different 🤤 I wanted to try the spicy rice but unfortunately they didn't have it at the time. The portions are very generous too! There’s a lack of communication between the staff and they tend to get things wrong, I felt like I had to keep repeating my order. Second time I visited, I ordered the 1/4 pounder burger which I do not recommend, the pattie had an overwhelming taste of the burnt charcoal and I had to throw the burger away!

So I drive past this place everyday and always see ppl outside which got my head scratching so today I went and tried it out despite initially being daunted from the queue, so the food is amazing got various meals and all were great for what you’re paying, could tell it was fresh but the lamb donner size could be a bit bigger as the large seemed rather small other than that food is GREAT the Customer service is decent can’t expect much for such a busy place and lastly the queue can be daunting however the wait wasn’t that long approx 30 mins for like 5 meals overall great and would highly recommend and they only accept cash for anyone curious and they definitely could improve their menu online

Have been going there since 3 years now and the food is super tasty no doubts about it!! However, sadly recently the service has gone down. It takes almost 40mins plus to get your order, even if it is just one item. The big orders always get priority and people coming after you may get their order before you. The prices have gone up and the portion size has reduced. The food is tasty so it's still worth the price but the extremely slow service does discourage you even if you want to go!! The 3 stars are purely and only for food.

Decent food, ordered the Grilled sea bass and it was quite honestly lovely! The only downsides are 1) they don’t take card payments 2) they don’t deliver further than .05 miles 3) The worst of all...the waiting time, which could easily be cut in half if they enforced a rule that customers only get ONE opportunity to decide which sauces they want and it was limited to TWO choices per order. When I ordered the queue was undoubtedly longer due to everyone saying something along the lines of “Boss, can I change that actually? Can I get burger sauce, ketchup and garlic sauce?” Frankly anyone ordering Lebanese food with ketchup is doing it wrong anyway! The portions are huge, if you find them too small, you’re eating way too much! If you drive here, be respectful to those who are waiting for their food outside and switch off your engine and put your rubbish in the bin.

Let me make it simple This is probably one of the best Lebanese establishments in the country. It's not a fancy Michelin Star restaurant, nor is it a place you can sit and eat in. It's a simple take away where you can always expect consistency in food quality and taste. They are very very busy 24/7 (mashaAllah) especially between 4pm till closing, so if they take your order a little rushed, do not think they are being rude, and no It's not because of you. They are probably just exhausted or frustrated. And to be honest, if you stand around for a bit you will probably witness the stress some ill mannered customers cause them on a daily basis. So just be patient and well mannered and hopefully you will not be disappointed at all. The average walk-in waiting time between 4pm-closing is about 20-30minutes (on a small 1-2 persons order, this will obviously increase depending on what quantity you're ordering. Plus everything is made fresh to order), so I think it would be best for you to do what I do, which is to call them 15-30 minutes (depending on your order size) in advance of collection, this way all you do when you arrive is advise on salad and sauces and Badda Bing Badda Bang .... your done. Conclusion: Food taste is consistent (if been buying there for over 10 years, I now live 18 miles away but still travel for their food), walk-in service is a little slow but justified due to popularity. Phone service is always good. Overall I would give this place a decent 8/10 overall score.

For me it is one of the best places for Lebanese food, the staff that attends are very attentive and care about the products we eat, their dishes are typical and well prepared and it is a pleasure to eat them. The place is located on the main avenue and always counts with a large influx of people who want to enjoy their best meals. surely if you have not visited it you will love it when you can come. If you don't mind the wait time, then this is the place to go! It's definitely worth the wait. I've been here several times now, and staff are always nice and talk to you. They are usually rushed off their feet, due to big phone orders, but always will serve and get to you if you don't mind the wait. I honestly didn't mind the long wait, as the meal I got was amazing, and very good value. Everything is cooked from fresh, and the range of choices to have is so good.. Honestly, the smells from the food is to die for! I just had a burger, but was so tasty. The best Lebanese food you can get in the area, it’s an absolute gem!!! Everything is fresh and made right in front of you, chicken is marinated well and succulent and you get very generous portions for the price. I recommend half a chicken with spicy rice or chips, which is around £6-7. Also it can get really chock-a-block packed and busy at times in there, so I suggest making sure you have time on your hands before you order. The guys who work in there are under intense pressure with the orders and always get your order right! Have patience with them because they work very hard especially during the early hours!!!

5* all the time. Number 9 with spicy rice is what I get. Chicken sharwama is 5* but always runs out so go to the shop early, I'd prefer it over the lamb but the lamb is good too.

Great tasting charcoal chicken marinated well and cut so it's boneless. Good value too. Can sometimes take long during rush hours so order early if you can and double check the order. Enjoy.

Had the boneless half chickens DN spicy rice. Good pricing for the amount, the rice and chicken were both seasoned well and the chilli sauce is some of the better that I have had from a kebab type store.

😊🌺Friendly staff,good range of food served on proper charcoal grill. My favourite one are half a chicken that is boneless and grilled and lamb shish served with salad. Not much space to queue up inside the takeaway perhaps it'd be good idea to place the order over the phone to avoid big queues. The parking may be a issue outside the takeaway as is just off the main A2 Newkent road.🚔

Great custom service even when they are super busy. I drive 1hr to have their grilled chicken. Their food is wonderful. Try the butterfly boneless chicken with garlic mayo and chilli sauce. They are responsible priced too

This food was SO good and SO cheap. I had the chicken shish wrap and it was not only delicious, but filling. I am also a fan of spicy food and this definitely a kick to it. We were in London visiting and I haven't been able to get it off my mind since. I don't like to eat at the same place twice, when traveling, but this food was THAT good and less than £7.

Wow! My second new (to me) London Lebanese restaurant this week! And, coincidentally, what a week for Lebanon, much in the news, for the wrong reasons, as so oft the case. NH⁴NO³ ⚗️ Good luck to the city & people of Beirut. They've endured the results of political instability/ destabilisation for decades. Beirut University was once a much prized place to study. Anyway, the FOOD at my most recent discovery - on the Old Kent Road (a street made famous by the Monopoly board game...) - is a real find. Yay! Due to the pandemic (one assumes) they're only doing takeaways at the mo (the seating was sealed off). But their street window service - to the amassing, yet orderly queue outside (see my photos) - was pretty quick. Yet, it would have been worth waiting for, had we waited on that balmy sunny evening. (We scoffed down our nosh by the lake at very near by Burgess Park; and it didn't take long!) If this cuisine - mostly lamb-ish kebabs, and their much reviewed/ acclaimed special ½ chicken option, although I notice they did make their own fallafel, and I bet their humous was up to scratch (I'll try that next time!) - could indeed be called STREET FOOD. But as street food goes, it don't get any better than this! Believe me. If you have a pallet, and particularly if you favour the foods of the Levant, and you're anywhere at all near the Old Kent Rd in south London, give it a go. 2 people can eat a hearty feast at this place for £12 (we did!) We had their special half chicken, plus a large lamb kebab served with the perfect bread (for a kebab), still bubbling from their bread oven. Yes, go here! I promise you won't regret it, and it may go in your little black book of cheapo £££ London bites gems.
